It’s party time Down Under

Here in Australia it’s party time – Cristmas is approaching and that marks the start of the summer holidays. The restaurants are full, the bars overflowing, the shops crowded. After all, everyone has loads of money and not a care in the world apart from some localised flooding and the odd bush fire. Europe’s financial crisis, Britain’s collapsing public services and the Blair/Brown feral generation of uneducated, unemployable losers seem a world away.

Why are things so different here? Well, Australia never allowed a one-eyed Scottish idiot to double public spending and waste a trillion or so in the process. Australia controls immigration so most newcomers will make a contribution unlike the scum, dross and other human flotsam who we have so warmly welcomed into Britain. And Australia has not allowed the development of  whole generation who believe that a life on benefits paid for by working people is a fundamental human right. That’s why it’s party time in Australia. Australia has a future, Britain does not.
