Beware Starmer’s ‘defence smokescreen’

Friday blog

Who would have thought it? UK-loathing, globalist, Davos-man Starmer has suddenly become a great Churchillian British patriot promising to spend billions on improving our country’s military. Hooray for General Starmer!

But are we really sufficiently stupid to believe (IMHO) lying liar Starmer’s latest lies? The Britannica Dictionary definition of SMOKE SCREEN: “something that you do or say to hide something or to take attention away from something. ‘His campaign promises were just a smoke screen’.”

I would humbly suggest that there will be an almost infintessimal real increase in our military’s budgets. Instead, I believe that Starmer’s possibly surprising Damascene conversion to supposedly building up Britain’s defences is just a convenient smokescreen which is intended to kill two birds with just one stone.

Aim one is to try to counter the image Starmer has of being an anti-British, migrant-hugging, EU UN and WEF stooge. But the key aim is to provide a convenient cover for Reeves to raise taxes again and again and again. Now Starmer and Reeves can claim that they have to raise taxes, not because they have trashed the economy with Reeves’s budget from hell, but because Labour are tremendous patriots and need more of our cash to build up our military.

Yogi Berra told us that predictions are hard to make, especially about the future:

But I predict Reeves will push up taxes supposedly to spend on our defence, but that almost all the extra revenue raised will be squandered on enormous pay rises for our useless over-paid, over-pensioned, incompetent, self-serving, parasitic, Labour-adoring, skive-from-home public sector.

Oh, and while we’re on the subject of (not) defending Britain, I noticed that Operation Sea Lion, the planned German invasion of Britain, intended to use about 90,000 German troops in the first wave of attacks. Under Starmer, we can expect around 50,000 Third-World invaders this year. Fewer than Operation Sea Lion, but an invasion of military-age, UK-hating men nevertheless and, like the Operation Sea Lion troops, all dedicated to conquering Britain and destroying anything of value in our country.

Yes this seems true as military spending was pulled out the hat when all the other areas like climate lost support from the public. But again the problem with this strategy is few believe Russia is the enemy and it is difficult to know who the baddies are but it appears increasingly likely its us, or neocons particularly, and so giving NATO more money is just as wasteful and pointless as fighting global boiling. Maybe some will buy the propaganda and ignore the realities but doubt there is a majority in favour of wasting more money when we are importing illegals that we know nothing about or their intentions whilst also paying vast sums of money to NGOs and France to keep them safe and encourage them to cross the channel. In the meantime we will just erect more diversity bollards at the summer fayres and bleat diversity our greatest strength whilst arresting Facebook posters.

I suspect the same will apply to the NHS promises that I heard on the news this morning. I wanted a GP appointment on Wednesday and couldn’t get one. I went to the surgery and was given options to go elsewhere. I went to a walk in centre and had to wait over 2 hours to be seen. I was examined and told to go to my local practice to find out what to do. It’s just a merry go round.

When politicians fail in their own country they always look for an external enemy. Is the Ukraine a proxy war for the US and the EU? If so we should stay out of it. The best thing we could do is get rid of the nuclear weapons and declare neutrality. Our days as a world power are long gone. Without Russia we could not have defeated Hitler. But the politicians had to make them the enemy after the war. I suspect they allowed Stalin to occupy half of Europe to make him the enemy.

Does anyone else get blocked from this site by Kaspersky and asked if one wants to continue?
Starmer has already set in motion the sell out of Gibraltar, I have no confidence in him or any of them in Parliament including Conform and Mr Mirage.
