Brown was an incompetent, lying, financially-incontinent bully who didn’t know what he didn’t know. Osborne is equally incompetent. But I suspect that he actually knows that he knows nothing, that he’s completely out of his depth and that his policies have utterly failed. However, like Brown he is so arrogant, selfish and self-obsessed, that he doesn’t give a damn what happens to the country as long as he doesn’t lose face. How two such buffoons could hold one of the most important positions in Britain is beyond belief.
