This is�a lie.�When Tory MP David MacLean introduced a bill to exempt MPs’ expenses from the Freedom of Information Act, only 25 of 646 MPs voted against it. The other 621 were only too happy to prevent us finding out how they are stealing our money.
As for Brown’s and Harman’s protestations that they want to clean up Parliament – more lies. Let us remember that at the start of 2009, they also tried to push through a bill blocking the publication of MPs’ expenses with a 3-line whip forcing all Labour MPs to support the bill.
This is not the case of a few rotten apples – this is the case of the huge majority of MPs and Lords of all parties being nothing but a bunch of sleazy, self-serving, hypocritical, greedy, lying crooks.
