I feel huge sympathy for anyone who lost their jobs as a result of the 2007 crash caused by greedy bankers, incompetent bureaucrats and thieving politicians. But what about those who ‘couldn’t’ find jobs during the Brown boom of 2000-2007? Then over 2 million new jobs were created – 90% of which were taken by foreign workers. What excuse do the British long-term unemployed have? Stupidity? Idleness? The fact that most couldn’t be bothered to get any qualifications? Selfishness? Pig ignorance?
The benefits system is designed to help those in need – not to provide a living for the idle, thick and selfish. A life of idleness and a couple of flatscreen TVs are not a human right. Maybe these idle, worthless parasites should be forced to get qualifications or work cleaning streets and parks to be given our money. We can’t afford five million lazy scum any more.
