Dying to pay Peter Mandelson’s pension

As the winter weather grips Britain, we can expect several thousand elderly people to die before their time. The Government can’t pay them a decent pension, so they can’t afford to heat their homes properly.

However, the members of New Labour’s ‘Hundred Thousand Club’ – the politicians and bureaucrats who will get pensions of a hundred thousand pounds or more for the rest of their lives – will never have to worry about trivia like fuel bills. In fact many of them will spend their winters in their luxury South of France or Tuscany holiday homes. Ordinary people who have worked and paid taxes all their lives are now dying to pay the pensions of rubbish like Mandelson, tub of lard Prescott, BBC bosses, quangocrats and thousands of others like them.
