We should hold our heads up high in pride that Britain didn’t pay the required bribes to Sep Blatter and his bunch of crooked cronies at FIFA to buy the next world cup. Let the Russians have it. The Russian mafia are going to make billions building the facilities for Blatter’s bonanza.

But couldn’t we give the Russians the 2012 Olympics too? They are a costly white elephant foisted on us by arch liar and sponger Anthony Blair and his greedy wife. Or perhaps Blair could chip in a few million to help pay for his games – after all, he can afford it while the ordinary British taxpayers Blair ruined can’t
