MPs lie about their earnings

Our thieving MPs are after more of our money claiming they are not paid enough and they could earn much more in other jobs. A simple answer is, ‘o.k, resign and get another job, if you can’. But the real issue is that MPs are lying to avoid revealing their real earnings.

They get a salary of around £64,000 for about 8 months work. But you or I would have to put over £50,000 a year in our pension savings to get the same pension as an MP. Then they can give around £30,000 a year to a family member supposedly for ‘secretarial duties’. That brings them up to £144,000 a year. And then there’s still lots of money to be made on their expenses. Plus they can earn tens of thousands more with second and third jobs. If you hear squealing from MPs, it’s the squealing of pigs at the trough always wanting more of our money.
