David Craig, on June 27th, 2012Yesterday I contacted three journalists who had been covering the NatWest chaos – from the Telegraph, FT and Daily Mail. I suggested that as the NatWest mess started at around the same time as the whole BT Broadband network went down for several hours, that this was not a coincidence, but was actually due to cyber attacks on the two companies who both blamed their problems on system ‘upgrades’.
Naturally, all three journalists ignored my email. So there you have it. There was no ‘cyber attack’. I am just a deranged, lunatic conspiracy theorist. And it was purely a coincidence that both NatWest and BT had massive IT systems failures at exactly the same time.
