The banks win – democracy is dead

Democracy is meant to be about ordinary people having some say in how they live their lives. But in too many countries, vested interests like large oil companies, corrupt ruling families or powerful special interest groups usurp power. Welcome to today’s Britain where our greedy, lying thieving  politicians have sold us out to the big banks. Three years on from the crash, there have been no new regulations, no controls on the banks and no punishment for the massive fraud committed by many bank bosses. Instead, Liar Brown, Liar Cameron, Liar Osborne and the rest of them have handed tens of billions of our money to the banks, most of which has been sprayed around in massive salaries and bonuses. But then, of course, after their political lives are over, many politicians get well-paid jobs as ‘consultants’ to a few banks. So they’re hardly going to upset their future employers.

Never in the history of human greed has so much money been taken from so many and given in such quantities to so few. Democracy is dead. The banks win.
