My latest book Pillaged! tries to show people how £1m a minute (£413m a day) is being looted from their savings and pensions. The book has been boycotted by personal finance journalists because I criticise their supposed “impartiality” when they advise us where to put our money- usually the companies that advertise most in their papers. I only got about £1,000 (yes, just one thousand) for writing the book. So if people buy it or not, this isn’t going to make money for me. But I believe it would be tragic if the media’s boycott meant that nobody knew of the book’s existence.
So can you tell the people you know about my book? Reading it will help them fight against the greed, tricks and dishonesty of the financial services insiders who are pocketing £1m a minute of our money.
