The politically-biased BBC and Egypt aren’t the only places they’ll be celebrating Mubarak’s departure. In Iran, the mad mullahs must be thinking it’s Christmas (or their equivalent). Now they have chance to replace Egypt’s peaceful Western orientated government with a hardline, intolerantreligiously-fanatic regime dedicated to the destruction of Israel andthe free West. And, as with Iran, once you have agovernment which represents the word of the One and Only God, what’s the point of elections? After all, anyone voting against a government supported by God, must be an apostate who deserves to be imprisoned, tortured and even hanged.
Here in the West, we all wish Egypt well on what willhopefully beits journey to freedom. But inIran, they’ll see the current unrest as an opportunity todrag Egypt back to join them inthe Dark Ages.
