Several of the contestants for Labour leadership are claiming that they thought the Iraq war was a mistake and that they were against it.� Why? Because they really believe this? Or because they know that saying it will help their chances of being elected? Yet if they were so opposed to the Iraq war, it’s a pity they didn’t mention this earlier.
So a message for all the British soldiers who died for nothing in Iraq – your leaders (Milibands, Burnham etc) didn’t give a damn about your deaths when they kept silent to�protect their careers. Yet now they see�career advantages�in criticising the war, they’re all over the media waving their pacifist credentials. What a bunch of lying, cowardly scum.
