As we move towards the 2102 Games, grovelling, politically-correct journalists at the BBC have been gushing about the great triumph achieved by the overpaid olympocrats who are wasting billions of our money. The Olympics are ‘on schedule and under budget’ one hack bleated. Really? The buildings are going to cost about 7.35bn. The whole event around 9.3bn. Most of this will be taken from ordinary taxpayers. Perhaps the creep from the BBC forgot that the original budget was just around 4.5bn with only 2.3bn coming from taxpayers? And worse, the olympocrats are now planning to give themselves huge bonuses for completing the project ‘on schedule and under budget’.
If we didn’t have to pay for the Olympics, we’d hardly need to make any public-spending cuts. ButBBC journalists wailing about the cutsdon’t ever mention that. The Olympics – a British triumph? No, just more lies from our overpaid, over-pampered ruling elite who know that the British are so stupid that they’ll believe anything our rulers tell them.
