Here’s a more than important story I suspect you won’t find in any of our ‘widely-respected’ British mainstream media.
It seems that journalists – I mean real journalists, not the biased, Trump-loathing, West-hating, migrant-hugging, climate-catastrophist garbage who produce most of our supposed ‘news’ – in the U.S. have finally found the smoking gun which proves that ‘Federal Funding’ through the EcoHealth Alliance was paying for dangerous ‘gain of function’ research on bat coronaviruses at the lab in Wuhan. This is, of course, something Fauci has denied and denied and denied with Fauci even calling a U.S. Senator, former doctor Rand Paul, a liar for suggesting that Fauci was funding ‘gain of function’ research at Wuhan.
Here’s a brief excerpt from over 900 pages of documents obtained in the U.S. under a Freedom of Information Act request about virus experiments in Wuhan funded by the U.S. :

prior to further altering the mutant viruses, you must provide NIAID with a detailed description of the proposed alterations
if any of the experiments proposed for Aim 1 result in a virus with a phenotype of enhanced pathogenicity and/or transmissibility enhanced growth more than 10 fold when compared to wild-type strains …….. the recipient must immediately stop the work and notify the NIAID Program Officer
You don’t need to be a scientist to understand that this document proves U.S. taxpayer money was being chanelled to the Wuhan lab through the EcoHealth Alliance to enhance the pathogenicity and/or transmissibility of bat coronaviruses compared to their natural pathogenicity and/or transmissibility. Nor do you need to be Einstein to understand that the funder (Fauci) was aware that the experiments could increase the pathogenicity and/or transmissibility by more than 10 fold. If that isn’t ‘gain of function’ then what is?
I could write more on this story, but I think the brief summary above tells us all we need to know.
Will the Biden Broadcasting Corporation or C4 News report this smoking gun?
I have to admit that the TV images of water pouring into the New York subway from Hurricane Ida were pretty impressive and almost apocalyptic. And, of course, they led to the usual hyperventilating and howling from the Guardian and the BBC and others of their ilk:
But were the Hurricane Ida floods really so exceptional and ‘historic’?

The last few weeks have been wonderful for the bedwetting Biden Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) climate catastrophists and others in the Biden-adoring mainstream media. In the USA we first had the Californian wildfires on the West Coast and then Hurricane Ida and massive flooding on the East Coast.
This resulted in excited reporters from the BBC and C4 News and others of their ilk hyperventilating as they featured a living cadaver, President Joe Biden, lecturing us that the West Coast wildfires and East Coast flooding once again showed the horrific effects of anthropogenic climate change and once again demonstrated the urgency of acting now to supposedly fight supposed man-made climate change.
I try to keep my blogs short. So I propose to use today’s blog to test whether U.S. wildfires really are caused by a rise in atmospheric CO2 from human activities. Then tomorrow, I’ll look at the U.S. hurricane and floods.
Fire! You’re going to burn, burn, burn! (Arthur Brown)
If the U.S. wildfires are caused by increasing atmospheric CO2, then we would expect to see a correlation – as atmospheric CO2 rose, so too should the acreage destroyed by wildfires. Here’s a chart of CO2 levels (the red line) and CO2 emissions (the blue line) since 1750:

And here’s a chart from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service of the estimated acres of forest burnt each year in wildfires since 1916:
Ooopps, Houston we have a problem.
As you can see, the greatest loss of forest to wildfires was during the scorching 1920s and 1030s – the years that featured in John Steinbeck’s famous novel Grapes of Wrath. But clearly there is absolutely no correlation at all between rising atmospheric CO2 levels during the 20th Century and the level of U.S. forest acreage burnt.
Of course, we don’t yet know how much forest will be lost to wildfires this year. Maybe it will be high, maybe not. But even if this year’s burn is high, one year of exceptional wildfires does not make a trend. You and I understand that even if the mainstream media and Joe Biden do not.
When is a ‘record’ not really a record?
And, of course, while the mainstream media excitedly claim that this year’s wildfires are the worst ever, we shouldn’t forget the massive wildfires of September 1899:
Nor should we forget the huge wildfires of 1825, 1871, 1881 and 1894;
So, are this year’s wildfires a record? And are they proof of catastrophic CO2-driven climate change?
Whatever I write about in this blog – government waste, our useless political leaders, the climate change doomsday cult nonsense, the BLM crazies, immigration, our ultra-woke ineffective police and military, Afghanistan or whatever – it’s all part of one overarching scenario. That scenario is the ongoing implosion, decline and collapse of Western civilisation and the rise of competing civilisations such as an ever more powerful totalitarian Chinese empire and violent, radical, West-hating, anti-progress Religion of Peace fanaticism.
I have copied and shortened a piece on the collapse of civilisations I found somewhere floating around the Internet as I thought it sums up what we are now experiencing:
The actual collapse of a civilisation is much like the bankruptcy of an organisation of individual. It happens very gradually over a long period of time, and then suddenly, it folds. Eminent historian and anthropologist Sir John Glubb wrote The Fall of Empires in 1976 and said this:
“The life expectation of a great nation, it appears, commences with a violent, and usually unforeseen, outburst of energy, and ends in a lowering of moral standards, cynicism, pessimism and frivolity.”
Sir John Glubb lists the six ages of a civilisation’s growth and collapse as follows below. He found remarkable similarities between the 13 different empires he studied. Most have lasted 10 generations or so, around 250 years.
1. The Age of Pioneers : In the Age of Pioneers, we encounter courageous individuals with great passion and vision who set out to conquer new territories, often taking over existing civilisations which are in decline. Their mentality is expansive, experimental; they are the prototypers of their generation. They are action-takers, have strong values, often great devotion to duty, a sense of honour, a shared purpose and a strict moral code. The decaying empire they overthrow is often wealthy but defensive and contracting in its vision, but history shows us this is not always the case.
2. The Age of Conquest : Conquerors bring with them their military might and often their own religious culture. Think of the Spanish Inquisition following the conquistadores into South America, or the Jesuit movement landing in strength and depth in Asia. They sometimes adopt the military ways of the empire they have concurred, and are always more disciplined, professional and organised in their military campaigns than the civilisation they are conquering.
3. The Age of Commerce: The power of the military, supported by the public, guards and controls the new territory so that commerce can flourish. I know if you are a business reader, your ears will prick up here because it’s tempting to think we are in the middle of the Age of Commerce. Let’s remember that civilisations collapse over hundreds of years so the Age of Commerce for us probably began somewhere in the middle ages.
In the first stages of this Age, there is still some sense of personal honour as the new civilisation searches for new forms of wealth. But as wealth pours in — whether that is on the treasure ships of the Spanish in the middle ages, or into the bank accounts of billionaires from Silicon Valley — values such as honour, glory of country soon disappear. In this age, the wealthy business community spends some of its wealth on splendid buildings and palaces — think of the Pyramids of Egypt, the glory of Athens at its height, the Colosseum of Rome, the complexes of the Aztecs or Angkor Wat. They construct communications networks such as roads, hotels, and railways or map the high seas; think of the Burma Railway, the wagon trails across the West of America, the Silk Road from China to the Middle East.
4. The Age of Affluence According to Sir John, it is in the Age of Affluence that our virtues and morals are gradually silenced. The aspirations of generations change from honour and glory to greed, selfishness and monetary gain rather than, and often at the expense of, spiritual wealth. Education changes from learning to qualifications for high salaried jobs. At the end of the eleventh century, as Arab power was declining, the moralist Ghazali complained “Students no longer attend college to acquire learning and virtue, but to obtain those qualifications which will enable them to grow rich”. The growing wealth of the civilisation is magnetic to other cultures who attempt to copy and adopt the values they see as foundation to such wealth.
5. The Age of Intellect In the Age of Intellect, three key trends emerge that precede the final age and in which are laid the irreversible foundations of collapse. The mighty merchant princes from the Age of Affluence endow the arts and education systems. Think Bill Gates moving from merchant prince to philanthropist with his Gates Foundation. Think Miuccia Prada’s investment in the Venice Biennale and the Prada Foundation. Many of the scientific, philosophical and literary triumphs of a civilisation appear in this period. This could easily be said to correspond to the great scientific breakthroughs prior to the Industrial Revolution or the flourishing of the Renaissance period. The natural sciences advance.
This period can also experience a proliferation of intellectual chatter which leads to endless theorising, talking and pontificating as a veritable Babel of discussion erupts. Whilst this adds positively to human learning, meanwhile the credibility of the state and its supporting systems, erodes for lack of action. Civil dissension and division increases. Political factions become more and more polarised. Factional rivalry becomes more important that saving the nation that is collapsing all around.
At the same time, pressure is put upon the civil structures of the day as other peoples are increasingly attracted to the wealth established in the Age of Affluence. As the diversity increases in a population so the original founding values become increasingly watered down as one civilisation seeks to absorb other incomers.
6. The Age of Decadence After a long period of wealth and power, Sir John established that all empires decline in this pattern.
“Frivolity, aestheticism, hedonism, cynicism, pessimism, narcissism, consumerism, materialism, nihilism, fatalism, fanatics and other negative behaviours and attitudes suffuse the population. Politics is increasingly corrupt, life increasingly unjust. A cabal of insiders accrues wealth and power at the expense of the citizens, fostering a fatal opposition of interests between haves and have-nots. The majority lives for bread and circuses (panem et circusem); they worship celebrities instead of divinities…. throw off social and moral restraints — especially sexuality; shirk duties but insist on entitlements.”
You’d better start teaching your children and grandchildren Chinese and/or Arabic unless some new biological weapon developed at the Wuhan Institute of Virology or else civil wars between us and the invading Religion of Peace hordes wipe them out.
I guess it’s something that comes with age – that one increasingly feels that what is reported in the supposed ‘news’ seems to come from another planet. Just a few examples:
Giving priority to Afghan animals?
Many media outlets have praised the supposed ‘hero’ who shipped out about 200 Afghan cats and dogs from Afghanistan to the UK. And Twitter and other such social sewers have been full of vicious attacks on anyone who dares suggest that the ‘hero’ was just a self-serving, attention-whore. What nobody has mentioned is that (I believe) over 20,000 cats and dogs are killed in the UK each year (I haven’t been able to find the exact figure) because nobody wants them. Even the well-known, well-funded Battersea Dogs Home slaughters around a quarter of the animals it receives.
So, what was the point of bringing another 200 strays by plane to the UK? Every one of those strays that is given a home in the UK means yet another UK stray which will be destroyed. Hasn’t this occurred to anyone?
Arming our enemies?

Our rulers tell us that we didn’t waste 20 years, 450+ lives and thousands of maimed in Afghanistan. Perhaps our enemies – the Taliban – parading around in captured Western uniforms with the latest Western military equipment would agree?
Do we really owe anything to the Afghans?
Over the last few weeks we have been bombarded by the media and our worthless politicians with the message that we are somehow indebted to tens of thousands of Afghans. So we are shipping as many as we can from Stone Age Afghanistan to the UK. And, because many have large families, our taxes will be used to buy up or build thousands of large houses to home all these people.
Western governments have spent the last 20 years and over $1 trillion trying to turn Afghanistan into a modern country. We have built schools, hospitals, dams, power plants, roads and much much more. We’ve even tried to teach Afghans about diversity, gender fluidity, the importance of using the correct pronouns and catastrophic man-made climate change.
But instead of taking the chance of progress, the utterly corrupt Afghans just milked us stupid Westerners for all the money they could steal from us and, after thousands of Western lives have been lost and all this money has been spent, the Afghans were more than happy to throw all the progress made away and hand over their country to a bunch of medieval savages.
Yes, some Afghans did work for the Western military, NGOs and charities. But that was a straightforward business arrangement whereby they got well-paid jobs that weren’t otherwise available. But quite why that should give them the ‘right’ to come to the West with their huge families is not obvious.
If anybody owes anything to anyone, surely it is the Afghans who owe us for the sacrifices we have made trying to take them from the Stone Age to being a modern democratic, educated state? Our media and politicians tell us we have ‘betrayed the Afghans’. As far as I can see, the Afghans have betrayed us.
Moreover (see article/video below) our PM will “move heaven and earth” to find even more Afghans from Afghanistan and from refugee camps outside Afghanistan in order to bring them to Britain.
These tens of thousands of Afghans are in addition to the thousands of illegal immigrants Priti Useless Patel’s Border Farce ferry service will pick up from French beaches to bring to Britain.
And not only must we now take tens of thousands of these Afghans into the UK and provide a free ferry service for illegals to come from France to Britain, but our rulers now tell us we must hand over billions in foreign aid to Afghanistan’s new rulers – our enemies the Taliban – so that we pay to feed, house and clothe Afghans while the exulting Chinese strip Afghanistan of its vast mineral resources.
I was going to write a more serious blog today. Then I came across this – senile old Joe Biden falls asleep during a meeting with the Israeli PM. The Israeli PM bravely carries on speaking to the attendant press corps while pretending not to notice that Sleepy Joe is sleeping:

It is little wonder that the USA/UK and Western forces lost the Iraq, Afghanistan, Libyan wars. Troops on the ground and air forces risked their lives, but the senior officers, civil servants and politicians were incompetent. They mixed up ‘fighting the enemy’ with ‘aid and humanitarian mission’, and then let loose the lawyers to prosecute members of the armed forces for supposed ‘war crimes’ when they did actually fight for their country. In fact, if I remember correctly, from at least July 2012 and probably before, our armed forces weren’t even allowed to shoot at their enemies unless they were fired on first:
This ludicrous policy reportedly led to a rapid rise in British casualties.
And now it seems that the UK and possibly US embassies left papers lying around giving the names, addresses and phone numbers of all the Afghans who worked with NATO forces. The idiotic release of Afghan workers’ data to the Taliban plus leaving over $85 BILLION worth of equipment to the Taliban shows just how incompetent the civil services/political class/high ranking military have been.
Next time the armed forces must not get involved in any humanitarian duties, but focus on using any method possible to kill the enemy at every opportunity, so they are finished as a fighting/political threat ever again. I’m not a military expert like our much decorated generals and admirals and RAF top brass with all their gongs and knighthoods, comfortable seats in the Lords and lucrative post-retirement consultancy jobs, but it seems obvious to me that you cannot fight a war by being woke. What you need are warriors.
Can our military bosses really be this useless?
Now I’m going to be lazy and cut and paste a comment from a reader from a previous blog. I don’t know if any of the following is true. But if it is, it shows the total emasculation of our armed forces by the plague of woke:
The Royal Navy’s current First Sea Lord, Admiral Tony Radakin, is a lawyer by trade. The successor to such hardened seadogs as Mountbatten, Jackie Fisher and Lord St Vincent, the valiant Admiral has now decided the best way that he can defend the seas around our island is to eliminate all ‘sexist’ Royal Naval terms, and replace them with appropriately Woke ‘gender-neutral’ substitutes. I’m quite sure this tactical master-stroke (am I still allowed to say ‘master-stroke’?) will strike terror into the hearts of Russian and Chinese sailors (once they’ve stopped laughing, that is).
The RAF’s current Chief of Staff, Sir Mike Wigston, is fully onboard with ‘Extinction Rebellion’, and tweetedthus on March 16th this year – ‘’Climate change threatens our way of life and @RoyalAirForce is responding by changing what we do & how we do it. I want to be the first net-zero air force by 2040 #GreenFuelGreenSkies is critical to that’’. How reassuring to know that the successor to Air Marshals Trenchard and Dowding has his priorities in such ‘correct’ order. And I look forward with anticipation to seeing Sir Mike’s new solar-powered electric fighters and bombers.
Another of our current military heroes, Lt Gen Richard Nugee, gallant head of the military’s ‘Climate Change and Sustainability Review’ (huh?) reveals ‘’The character of warfare is changing fast; so is the climate. Both issues are changing the way our military fight, live and train in unfamiliar ways. Linking these issues together, they both demand that we adapt to the new circumstances that we face and take transformative action now. Now firmly a Defence problem, climate change is a significant challenge.’’ General Nugee, I read, has named his pet dog ‘Greta’.
It’s not exactly a total surprise then, given ‘leadership’ like this, that our armed forces were just a touch less successful than they might have been in Helmand Province. And that we see the scenes that we currently do at Kabul airport.

I believe these cars are the ‘brainchild’ of a certain high-ranking policeperson – Deputy Chief Constable Julie Cooke of the Cheshire Police. Deputy Chief Constable Julie apparently thinks that these cars will be a powerful weapon against supposed hate crimes like when someone uses the wrong pronoun or when a gender-fluid person is hideously upset by being misgendered.
Deputy Chief Constable Julie said: ‘Cars are there in the communities on normal policing patrol just to show the community that we want you to come forward’ and ‘It is there to try and give confidence to our LGBT+ community, but also to other under-represented groups.‘
As many others commentators have noted, there are no police cars specially painted for black on black knife crime, nor for pensioners being violently mugged, nor for people coming home to find their homes burgled and trashed, nor for families who lose loved ones blown to pieces, stabbed or macheted to death by our friends from our favourite religion.
Nope, the ‘crimes’ that really seem to occupy the attention of Deputy Chief Constable Julie Cooke aren’t what most of us would even consider as crimes at all.
The ‘three pillars of society’?
A few days ago, a reader commented:
When I was growing up, the three pillars of civilisation in the UK were the church, the police, and the armed forces.
Today, none of those institutions are remotely capable of performing the tasks for which they were originally set up. Indeed, none of them display the slightest interest in actually performing those tasks.
Instead, they are all united as one in the single-minded task of promoting the true religion of ‘Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion’, and endlessly promoting public hysteria about the alleged biggest issue of all time, ‘Climate Change’.
Nothing in any of their current actions, utterances, or policies has anything to do with totally irrelevant and outdated ideas such as saving souls, upholding decency, fighting crime, or defending the nation.
Our church is worse than a joke and we might as well turn all our churches into mosques. Our military will no doubt soon be wearing rainbow-coloured uniforms and may even (like our police) start painting their tanks, planes and ships in rainbow colours to show their solidarity with the gender-confused members of our society.
Moreover, there are cruel rumours that the head of our armed forces was ‘admired’ by his men for never going anywhere near the front line where his troops were being maimed and killed. I guess that’s a bit like the police’s Commander Coward who reportedly sat safely in his locked car with his driver outside Parliament while in front of him one of his officers was being knifed to death by a vibrant, multi-cultural enricher.
As for our police – if Met boss Cressida Dick and Deputy Chief Constable Julie Cooke are our future, then we’d be better off scrapping our police altogether and starting again.
Promoting the unpromotable?
The mere fact that a (IMHO) total waste of skin like Deputy Chief Constable Julie Cooke ever got promoted into a top position tells us everything we need to know about how utterly crap today’s thought-crime-obsessed police are.

Life has never been so good in our so called ‘developed’ countries. Never before have so many people lived so long in such good health and enjoyed such quality of life. Yet we have many thousands of self-styled ‘activists’ going mental searching for more and more ‘injustices’ and ‘disgraces’ to denigrate the West. This trend was probably exacerbated by lockdowns during which people paid to stay at home poured their frustration, boredom and lack of purpose on any meaningless cause they could find. And, of course, our weak leaders merely go along with the charade.
The tyranny of the woke minority
You can slice this any way you like but it all comes down to one thing, the tyranny of the minorities, aided and abetted by the virtue signalers, the vested interests, the MSM and, of course, social media. Why are 0.0001% of the population deciding how we should think and act on any issue? Governments are elected to govern for the majority whilst protecting the minorities. There is no majority in this country that is for:
Political correctness
Gender choice without consequence
Persecuting people for ‘micro-aggressions’
Choosing your preferred toilet and changing facilities
Sending trans-men to women’s prisons
Being cancelled for using the wrong pronouns
Defiling public monuments
Virtue signaling
Critical race training
Diversity fascism
Rewriting our history
Unfettered Third-world immigration
Yet these all happen. Moreover, they are all endlessly lauded by the mainstream media as being beneficial.
It is the cult of “wokeism” the supposed moral superiority of the virtue-signaling, democracy-hating, West-loathing supposed ‘progressives’.
Those whose claim is that they are the “good” the “thoughtful”, the “caring” and “nurturing”, are exactly the opposite. They sneer and look down at the working classes, their snobbery knows no bounds. They despise those who believe in families, that children will thrive better with two parents, belief in hard work, the law and decency. Basically anything good that the “old” world stands for.
Civilisational suicide
Their ultimate aim is to abolish the few outposts of white civilisation that remain by swamping us with Third-world invaders:

Why do we never learn from history?
The worse thing is it the highly educated, you could even say over-educated, who promote this hate and madness. It is no different from mob rule, but in this case they use social media and the cancel culture as their weapon of choice. They are the Tw@tternazis.
The Prince and Princess of Woke
Princess Harry and Queen Meghan of Montecito are the embodiment of this Western woke decadence: no substance, PR gag after PR gag aiming at little more than polishing a flimsy social media image, constant navel-gazing and talking about their “many layers of pain” and suffering either from their multimillion dollar mansion or else while flying around the world in private jets to lecture us plebs about climate and fairness and compassion and all other kinds of BS.
Our leadership vacuum
It’s frightening to realise that useless leaders such as Biden, Trudeau, Adhern, Johnson etc were given their position of power by the people. Incredulously it’s ordinary folk who have foolishly voted for them having been brainwashed and misled by the media into believing these types of leaders will bring a fairer society that we can all benefit from. But the truth is that the epidemic of virtual-signing wokeism, that is infecting Western politics, will be death of freedom and democracy and a return to the Dark Ages of totalitarianism as we hand over world domination to our enemies. We seriously need to wake up before it is too late and we have all hurtled over the cliff like lemmings.
Freedom is fragile

In my blog of 16 August, I pointed out that we would need to build a Grenfell Tower-sized block of flats every eleven days to house the 20,000+ diverse, vibrant, multi-cultural enrichers from the Third World which Priti Patel’s useless Border Farce ferry service are so desperate to collect from French beaches and transport to a life of taxpayer-funded leisure in once Great Britain.
But yesterday, we got even more wonderful news – our government of fools is planning to fly at least 20,000 Afghans to our country. Though, of course, Sir Kneeler Starmer and his socialist chums are demanding that at least 40,000 Afghans be shipped into our country. No doubt the Libdems and Greens would like 50,000 or 100,000 or even more?
This therefore might be an appropriate time to consider what contribution these fabulous people from Stone Age Afghanistan will make to our country.
One way to do this might be to look at the ethnicity and religion of our prison population.
Let’s hope our prisons are Halal-compliant
Ethnic minorities – BAME – make up just 13% of the general population in England and Wales, but account for 27% of the prison population. So, it’s clear that increasing multi-culturalism is making us a more vibrant and diverse country.
Things get more interesting when we look at the religion of those held at Her Majesty’s pleasure.
Jews – 1% of general population and 1% of prison population
Hindus – 2% of general population – less than 0.5% of prison population
Sikhs – 1% of general population and 1% of prison population
Christians – 61% of general population and only 47% of prison population
Muslims – 4% of general population but 16% of prison population
So, the first point is that our friends from our favourite religion are four times more likely to be criminals than Jews and Sikhs and almost six times more likely to be criminals than Hindus or Christians.
Secondly, we know that for every underage white girl repeatedly beaten, burnt with cigarettes and raped by gangs of 40 to 50 men from our most wonderfullest religion, at most four or five of these rapists will ever be prosecuted if our politically-correct police even can take the time off scouring the Internet for ‘thought crimes’ to prosecute them at all. So, if our woke, finger-nail-painted, high-heel-wearing. LGBT++-hugging police were actually doing the job they are paid by us to do, the proportion of our friends from Britain’s most admired religion in prison should actually be even higher than it already is.
As our rulers bring in 20,000 or 30,000 or 40,000 Afghans direct from the Stone Age into our country, in addition to the invading hordes from Africa and the Middle East flooding in across the Channel, judging from the ethnicities and religion of our current prison population, we had better start building more prisons. And you might want to think about locking up your daughters?
