By David Craig, on December 19th, 2010 About the time of year, multimillionaire (usually tax-avoiding) popstars and celebs (hello Bono) like to tell the rest of us who have little money and do pay our taxes that we should yet again be giving generously to help relieve poverty in Africa. But there are some unfortunate facts these hypocrites don’t mention. Africa has received more aid per person over the last 50 years than any other part of the world and little to nothing has been achieved. Study after study by the UN show that over 80% of all money given to Africa in aid is either stolen by corrupt politicians, used to buy weapons or wasted due to stupidity and poor management.
We’d all like to help Africa, but giving billions which end up in African rulers’ Swiss bank accounts isn’t the answer. Instead we should stop all aid to countries that cannot show how every pound has been spent. Then when countries do agree to use aid money for their people rather than for their rulers, we should gradually start giving them help while monitoring that it is not being stolen or wasted. Moreover, what if Bono gave half of his money away? Now that really could make a difference.
By David Craig, on December 17th, 2010 As Britain feezes (what happened to global warming?) many people will be waiting in terror for their next fuel bill. You might have noticed that most of our energy suppliers are owned by foreign companies, mainly French and German. Do you want to know why? It’s because with Ofgem’s pathetic avoidance of doing what it was set up to do, these companies make much higher profits in Britain than they’re allowed to make in their better-regulated home markets.
So is the head of Ofgem a thief and a liar? I would say yes. I believe he’s a thief because he gets a massive salary, generous expenses and a huge pension yet does little to regulate the energy companies. I believe he’s a liar because he claims to be regulating the energy industry, yet it is blindingly obvious that Ofgem is seen as a toothless joke by the rapacious, excessively profitable companies Ofgem is meant to be regulating.
By David Craig, on December 15th, 2010 I always thought I might get into trouble because I exposed what a stupid, cowardly, lying, incompetent buffoon Brown is and from my attacks on the wasteful and corrupt EU. I expected PC Plod to turn up on my doorstep with some trumped up charges. But those I criticised sensibly ignored my spoutings as they busied themselves with the task of ruining our economy and enriching themselves with our money.
The death threat came from a member of the Board that runs the block of flats where I live. Because of their incompetence and general uselessness they wasted over two hunderd thousand pounds of our money cocking up a simple plan to put some new flooring tiles and railings on 32 small balconies. When they then demanded another two hundred thousand pounds to redo the work they cocked up first time, I started to oppose their plans. This resulted in one of them attacking me, kicking and hitting my car, screaming abuse and threatening to send some people to “kick my f—–g head in.” I thought this was a bit of an overreaction. If you agree, I’d be grateful if you would email (and get the people you know to email) Board member Steve Cable (not the guy who attacked and threatened me) at Steve.Cable@kier.co.uk suggesting that having me killed is not an appropriate response to the fact that I don’t want those idiots to waste any more of our money.
By David Craig, on December 15th, 2010 Anyone who has visited the holiday ‘paradises’ of Bali or Phuket has probably noticed the local habit of throwing their rubbish everywhere and anywhere except in a garbage bin. So, what’s the difference between an Asian beach and a garbage dump? There’s usually more rubbish on the beach than in the garbage dump.
By David Craig, on December 14th, 2010 Now that the incompetent piece of (Muslim) garbage has blown himself up in Stockholm trying to kill innocent Swedes, we find out he has a wife and spawn in Britain. The wife claims she didn’t notice her husband had become a suicide bomber (LOL). Perhaps all the books on how to build a bomb and why Westerners are pigs of the devil could have alerted her.
We should send this trash back to whatever Third Word hell-hole the terrorist got his training. But instead, this bunch of terrorist spawn will probably be given millions in benefits from British taxpayers. Then they will grow up despising us for our weakness and probably become good little Muslim suicide bombers just like daddy.
By David Craig, on December 14th, 2010 Kier Construction is arguably the most corrupt building company in Britain going by the fact that it was recently fined more than any of its competitors for stealing taypayers’ money. Kier has been busy in Bournemouth. It took over five million pounds for building our new hospital car park. At ten thousand pounds per parking space this is the most expensive hospital car park in Britain.
A whistleblower from within Kier told me that the car park should only have cost about three and a half million. But Kier overcharged, basically stealing over a million pounds. As I was an elected hospital governor, I informed hospital chief executive Tony Spotswood about the problem. But he wrote that this was none of my business and refused to investigate. I had to resign in protest. So watch out, Kier Construction might be coming to a hospital or council or school or other public-sector project near you. If so, expect them to run off with millions more than they should have been paid. Long live good old-fashioned corruption! Long live Kier Construction!
By David Craig, on December 12th, 2010 You might wonder who Tobias Elwood is. Well he’s the Tory MP for a part of Bournemouth, Britain’s centre of senility. Tobias seems to be a sort of ex-military ‘Tim Dim but Nice’. Tobias has been getting a bit hot under the collar about British Summer Time (BST). I’m not sure if he’s for it or against it, but the issue certainly seems to be exercising Tobias’ mighty brain.
Meanwhile Britain is going bankrupt, young people can no longer afford to study, taxes are going up, public services are being wrecked etc etc. Yet Tobias is worried about BST. Of course, with his MP’s salary, his more than generous expenses and his huge inflation-protected pension, Tobias can live like a millionaire for the rest of his life at taxpayers’ expense. So he probably hasn’t even noticed the economic catastrophe unfolding all around him. So Tobias worries about BST. What’s the point of Tobias Elwood? None that I can see except for the personal enrichment of Tobias and his family.
By David Craig, on December 11th, 2010 The day that MPs voted through the rise in tuition fees should go down in history as a day of shame – the day we stole our children’s future. Here we had a group of people, all members of the 100,000 club – the hundred thousand politicians, peers and top bureaucrats who will pocket a hundred thousand pounds or more each year of taxpayers’ money for the rest of their lives – deciding that young people should run up horrific levels of debt so that the members of the hundred thousand club could live like millionaires at taxpayers’ expense. The hundred thousand club includes scum like the odious Mandelson, fat-slob Prescott, liar Blair, buffoon Brown and thousand upon thousand of bureaucrats and quangocrats and other hangers-on and brown-nosers.
The hundred thousand club cost us over ten billion pounds a year. If they could just limit their avarice and greed, we’d have the money to support our students. But when you’re in the hundred thousand club, your sense of entitlement makes you believe that the best use of taxpayers’ money is to pay for your millionaire lifestyle. We should hang our heads in shame at the way we have allowed these scum to steal our children’s future.
By David Craig, on December 11th, 2010 As the stupid British public is beginning to realise that Simon ‘Slimey’ Cowell’s the fiX-Factor is about as honest as Sepp ‘the bribe’ Blatter FIFA’s voting or a cricket match involving Pakistan, Slimey’s all geared up to take his karaoke show to America. After all, where else in the world can Slimey find a TV-watching public as stupid as, or even stupider than, the Brits?
So watch out America, Slimey is coming and he’s going to rip you off too.
By David Craig, on December 10th, 2010 It seems our greedy, self-serving, arrogant rulers have no sense of shame and will do anything to protect themselves while they steal and waste our money. The latest vomit-inducing example comes from Labour stooge, Lord Turner, head of the utterly incompetent Financial Services Authority (FSA). Lord Turner has decided in his apparently infinite wisdom that there would be no point in publishing the FSA’s report into the RBS collapse. Instead he has decided personally to fully exonerate the liars, fools and fraudsters who ruined the RBS while enriching themselves with taxpayers’ money.
Lord Turner’s is shitting on us ordinary taxpayers who have been impoverished by being coerced into bailing out a bank his organisation failed to regulate. Liar Brown, Liar Cameron, Liar Blair, Turner, Hutton, Mandelson, Hoon, Prescott, Hewitt, Byers… the list of arrogant spivs enriching themselves with our money seems almost endless.
