Today, with people living ever longer and no sign of a cure for dementia in sight, I thought I’d pose a modern-day moral dilemma for you.
Imagine a widow in her early nineties. She has increasing dementia and has difficulty remembering what day it is even when using a simple diary. Also she can no longer use basic household appliances like a small oven or microwave.
She has always been generous with money. But since the onset of her dementia, she has become obsessed with the idea that doesn’t have enough money to live on and risks falling into poverty. This is in spite of the fact that she owns her own home and actually gets over twice as much each month from her various pensions than she can spend. In fact, she has completely lost the ability to understand money any more.
The widow has three children. One of the children has Power of Attorney and deals with all the mother’s financial affairs – paying bills and carers, buying food, sorting out her tax etc.
This widow’s money is accumulating in her bank account every month providing a nice, juicy target for the taxman when she dies.
A series of circumstances mean that the widow’s children have the opportunity to do some totally legal inheritance tax planning which would substantially reduce the eventual inheritance tax to be paid. However, the children cannot discuss this with their mother as she would be unable to understand what was being proposed and would worry that her children were trying to cheat her out of her money and that she would be left homeless and penniless.
The children have two options:
They could do some inheritance tax planning without telling the mother, thus fulfilling the mother’s wishes that her money goes to those it’s intended for rather than the taxman. But, if the mother found out, she would be utterly devastated as she would not understand what was being done and so would believe her children have been stealing her money.
Or the children could just let the money continue to increase with around 40% of money that has already been taxed at 20% ending up in the taxman’s pockets and thus being totally wasted on things like providing fortunes to 650 (IMHO) thieving, worthless, scumbag MPs like Keith Vaz and scrounging immigrant families with 5 to 10 children who all want bigger homes and ever more benefits.
What should the children do?
Should they just leave the money to accumulate allowing the taxman to take 40% and the Government to waste this money on the greedy and the idle?
Or should they do the inheritance tax planning to reduce the taxman’s take with the risk that the mother might find out and believe her money is being stolen by her children?

(Weekend blog) Regular readers will know that I recently wrote a short book, THE GREAT CHARITY SCANDAL, about Britain’s bloated, self-serving, £80bn-a-year charity industry with its 196,000+ charities full of over-paid, over-pensioned executives and hundreds of thousands of pointless managers doing well-salaried non-jobs.

CFAB is an independent charity, which helps reunite vulnerable children who have been trafficked, abducted, exploited or separated for other reasons from their families, across International Borders. (Another chance to pocket seventy grand a year)
Chief Executive Officer – Greenbank £60,000
Greenbank is a successful and long-established charity, based in Liverpool. Our mission is to enhance the opportunities and status of people with disabilities through education, training, employment, transport, sport and recreation. (Only £60,000? But then £60,000 is not a bad salary for Liverpool)
Head of Workplace – Amnesty International £55,168
Ever wondered what a ‘Head of Workplace’ does? Well, here’s the answer: The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of excellent facilities services worldwide through effective management of the Workplace Department to support Amnesty International’s human rights work. The Workplace function works across strategic, tactical and operational levels to ensure delivery through the efficient integration, management and maintenance of the fabric and associated plant, machinery and systems of the IS London physical office space. (Yup, I didn’t understand a word of that management gobbledigook either)
But if you’re not qualified to be a ‘Head of Workplace’, Amnesty International are also looking for a Messaging System Manager at a generous £45,855

The primary role of the Head of FTP Operations is to lead, manage and provide strategic oversight of the FTP operations functions (I wonder how a person ‘provides strategic oversight‘. Is that difficult to do?)
Head of Case Reception and Triage – HCPC £65,000
The primary role of the post holder is to lead, manage and provide strategic oversight of the HCPC’s case reception and triage function (Ah, more ‘providing strategic oversight’ at the Health and Care Professions Council)
Senior Manager – Centrepoint Helpline £52,099
Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, we are further expanding our reach through the development of the ‘Centrepoint Helpline’- England’s first multi-channel information, guidance and advice service specifically for homeless young people and those at risk of homelessness. (Someone to check up on a few people answering phones and you get over fifty thou a year. Yippeee!!)
And so it goes on. Page after page after page of well-paid non-jobs at the charities and quangos which are always demanding ever more of our cash.
Stop wasting your money. Never donate to a large charity. Only give to small local charities staffed entirely by volunteers!
A couple of years ago, I published a book DON’T BUY IT! about the tricks and traps salespeople use to take our money from us. Sadly most of my readers seem to have taken the title literally and didn’t buy it. That’s a pity really as in it I show how people like estate agents, car salespeople, telesales, financial services and timeshare scammers relieve us of large quantities of our cash. So, anyone buying and reading the book should easily be able to save themselves, their family and their friends hundreds of times the few quid the book costs.
Never mind. I recently came across three new examples of how easily our money can be taken from us:
1. Estate Agents
A couple of months ago I put my home up for sale as I was buying another one. Normally I would have had to pay a traditional high-street estate agent around £3,000 to handle the sale. Instead I decided to use an on-line estate agent, Purplebricks. Purplebricks only cost about £800. However, with a traditional estate agent you only pay when your home is sold. But with Purplebricks you pay immediately, whether your home sells or not.
For me, the interesting bit started about 4 weeks after my property appeared on the main property websites – PrimeLocation, RightMove, Zoopla etc. I started getting contacted by local traditional high-street estate agents. Some offered to refund the £800 I paid to Purplebricks if I let the estate agent handle the sale. Others offered to sell my home for the same fee as Purplebricks, £800, instead of their normal fee of around £3,000.
So, the moral of the story is, if you first place your home for sale with an on-line estate agent, you’ll find your local high-street estate agents suddenly become remarkably flexible concerning the fees they will charge for selling your property.
2. Comparison websites and insurance brokers
I had to insure my new home and so decided to try to find a good insurance quote using comparison website Gocompare. Two things happened:
First, when I contacted the ‘insurance company’ offering the ‘best deal’, I found I was actually talking to an insurance broker who claimed that they could definitely find me the best price. The cheapest price they came up with was over £330 from insurance company Liverpool Victoria
Secondly, being tightfisted, I tried another comparison website, MoneySupermarket. Here I found to my surprise that insurance company, Liverpool Victoria, could provide the home insurance I wanted for only £190. This possibility was not even mentioned on Gocompare
There are probably two lessons here:
Many comparison websites don’t do quite as many price comparisons as you might have expected from their advertising. So, to be certain of finding the best price, you actually have to try at least two comparison websites. I hadn’t realised that until recently
Insurance brokers claim that they can find the best price as they can choose from a wide range of insurance companies. This is a bunch of lies. The price I got by buying directly from Liverpool Victoria was £130 cheaper than buying the same policy with the same company through an insurance broker. So, when using a comparison website, make sure you’re dealing directly with an insurance company and not being fooled into going through an expensive insurance broker eager to take their cut of your cash.
Anyway, although today’s blog isn’t dealing with the big, important issues like the suicide of the West and the world’s descent into barbarism and chaos, hopefully some readers may find my experiences with estate agents, comparison websites and insurance brokers useful.
As we know, most young people are keen to stay in the ‘freedom of movement’, ‘unlimited immigration’ EU. We also know that the majority of under-25s strongly support allowing more migrants into Britain.

These charts show the population growth rates in several African countries. I used these a couple of days ago. But they are so critical to understanding where we are headed, that I’m using them again.
What do these tell us?
that Africa has no chance of ever being able to support its rapidly growing population
that ever more Africans fighting over limited resources of land, food and water will lead to an endless series of tribal and religious wars, worsening destitution and increasing poverty
that tens of millions of Africans will migrate to Europe to avoid poverty and war
that unless we defend our borders, we will be swamped by a mass migration of millions who are mostly inbred, uneducated, illiterate, unemployable, violent, intolerant followers of a medieval death cult pretending to be a religion
that Western civilisation is recklessly committing suicide because it no longer tries to protect itself
The ‘Illusion of Continuity’
There is an idea called the ‘Illusion of Continuity’. Every great civilisation has perished because of the Illusion of Continuity. With the Illusion of Continuity, a civilisation is so powerful at a certain point in its history that those living in that civilisation believe it will go on far into the future. This means they cannot conceive of their civilisation being destroyed. So they become morally lazy and no longer see any need to defend their civilisation.
Every great civilisation has perished due to the Illusion of Continuity. People believed – we are so powerful, we are so scientifically advanced, we are so civilised, how could our way of life and civilisation ever come to an end?
The lefties, the progressive, the liberal elites and the holier-than-thous all suffer from a severe case of the Illusion of Continuity. They cannot see that we in the West have created something valuable which can be destroyed in a few decades if we carry on allowing our countries to be invaded by an alien culture intent on domination and conquest, an invasion of human flotsam that will reduce our continent to Third-World filth and poverty.
Many of Europe’s largest cities have ‘no-go areas’ where the police and emergency services dare not enter. The education systems in some cities are breaking down due to a vast influx of people who see no value in education and loathe everything about our society. Our healthcare is collapsing due to the unlimited demands being placed on it by the influx of millions of migrants every year bringing with them diseases that had long ago been eradicated in Europe and burdening us with the disastrous mental and physical results of first-cousin marriages. Our social welfare is being bankrupted by the tens of millions who see no point working when they can have everything they want for free.
Ozymandias revisited?
Due to the historical blindness and moral bankruptcy of the ruling elites and the ignorance and naivety of the young, it is conceivable that someone in a couple of centuries, surveying the destitute wasteland that was once prosperous, thriving, civilised, technically-advanced Europe, will recall Shelley’s words:

I’d loved to have seen the two ladies’ faces when they eventually found out they were still in France. Ha-ha-ha-ha!
I’ve decided that, for my own personal safety, I’m going to stop writing this blog. I suppose I’m a coward for not wanting myself or my family to be attacked or even killed for me trying to uphold Britain’s former (but now lost) tradition of freedom of speech.
It’s not worth the risk. If our rulers refuse to defend free speech, why should I risk my life doing it?

A story the BBC ‘forgot’ to report?
Oh, you might remember a couple of years ago a bunch of Greenie idiots got stuck in Antarctic ice and had to be rescued while trying to prove that supposed ‘global warming’ was melting the Antarctic ice cap. Well, it appears another bunch of these Greenie twats have similarly got stymied by excessive quantities of ice while trying to prove the Arctic ice cap was also disappearing.
Over the last 4 days, the Italian coastguard claims to have “rescued” around 13,000 migrants. However, as my readers will know, these people are not “rescued”. Instead, an armada of EU ships waits just outside Libyan territorial waters and picks up all the illiterate, inbred, backwards, religiously-intolerant, violent, mentally-subnormal migrants sent to sea by people smugglers and then helpfully provides them with free transport all the way across the Mediterranean to Europe where they can live off benefits and crime for the rest of their worthless lives.
This is as if I bought a small Zodiac with an outboard motor with just enough fuel to do about 15 miles, puttered out to just outside UK territorial waters then radioed the US coastguard asking them to “rescue” me, take me to New York and then provide me with a home and money for as long as I lived. The whole situation is absurd.
This year around one million of this Third World detritus will be ferried across the Mediterranean into Europe by our rulers. About another million will come through Turkey. Almost all will be unemployable and burdens on our police, education systems, healthcare and housing for their whole lives. But this two million a year is tiny compared to what’s coming.

Where are these extra 2.37 billion Africans going to go? Are they going to stay in their own filthy, violent, poverty-stricken cesspit countries? Or are the young men going to head for wealthy Europe where they will get free housing, free healthcare, free food, free money, free family reunions, free everything and where they can supplement their income from crime and entertain themselves by raping the local white girls while the police look the other way and the mainstream media chooses to not report migrant criminality for fear of being branded “racist”?
We are about to see the greatest migration in human history. Three thousand a day will soon become ten thousand a day, then twenty thousand a day. The result will be the impoverishment of Europe and the destruction of European civilisation. Europe will become the new Africa – filthy, overcrowded, poverty-stricken, crime-ridden, violent, backward – another Hell of Earth.
Africans and Arabs are not like us. They are different. Just look at the sh*tholes they have made of every single one of their own countries without exception. We have to admit that Africans and Arabs are different and protect ourselves from them if we are to survive the new invasion.
Why are we doing this to ourselves?

Oddly, when Bill Clinton made his ‘get tough on illegal immigrants’ speech, we didn’t get the howls of rage from the mainstream media and we didn’t get the torrent of abuse that has been directed at Trump.
As for Crooked Hillary, she wants to ‘do a Merkel’ on America. So, how will she explain away the ‘bash immigrants’ speech made by her philandering husband?

About 6,500 migrants have been rescuedoff the Libyan coast, the Italian coastguard said, in one of their busiest days of life-saving in recent years.
Dramatic images showed migrants from Eritrea and Somalia jumping off one of their boats into the Mediterranean and swimming toward rescuers. Others carefully carried babies onto the rescue ships.
“The command centre coordinated 40 rescue operations” that included vessels from Italy, humanitarian organisations and the EU’s border agency Frontex and “saved 6,500 migrants“, the coastguard wrote on Twitter.
Their boats too weak and technically unequipped for a voyage across the stretch of the Mediterranean to the shores of Italy, the migrants had set off with a small amount of gasoline in the overcrowded vessels, hoping to make it at least 15-20 miles out to sea and reach awaiting rescuers
I have underlined the words I think are important.
Our rulers claim that the 6,500 illiterate, violent, intolerant Third-World garbage have been “rescued”. But where have they been “rescued”? From the middle of a stormy Mediterranean Sea? Um, no, not exactly. They have been “rescued” just “off the Libyan coast” probably within sight of land.
The supposed ‘Command Centre’ claims to have “saved 6,500 migrants“. Actually, no they didn’t. What really happened was that there is an armada of EU and supposedly ‘humanitarian’ boats, the “awaiting rescuers“, sitting conveniently close just outside Libyan territorial waters. So, the people smugglers only need to provide enough fuel for their customers to reach this armada and then this armada (which we pay for), instead of dumping the invaders back on the beaches they have come from just a few miles away, helpfully ferries the African and Arab invasion force free of charge all the way to Europe in great comfort.
If we carry on “rescuing” several thousand illiterate, uneducated, uneducatable, unemployable, violent, religiously-backward migrants a day and ferrying them to a life living off benefits and crime in Europe, we will be overwhelmed and our civilisation destroyed:
I fail to understand why our rulers hate us so much that they want to ruin our countries and all that Europe has achieved and turn Europe into a stinking, poverty-ridden, Third-World cesspit like the countries the invaders are coming from.

Conquering our inner cities: Our friends from the Religion of Tolerance and Peace only make up about 8% of the population. However, in many of our inner cities, M*sl*ms are already over 30% and will soon be in a majority given continued uncontrolled immigration, their high birth rate and accelerating white flight. The M*sl*m block vote plus widespread voting fraud will ensure most of our cities have M*sl*m councils and M*sl*m mayors. This will lead to bans on some forms (sexually provocative) of advertising, restriction on alcohol sales, restrictions on gambling, *sl*misation of schools and colleges and no-go areas for the police and emergency services
Submission of the police: In our cities, we will see further manipulation of policing services to serve the M*sl*m community and oppress indigenous Brits. Instead of stopping or catching real criminals, police chiefs will be increasingly made aware that their role is to clamp down on supposed *sl*mophobic ‘hate crimes’ and to protect M*sl*ms’ rights to free speech
Churches to mosques: Ever more of our empty churches will be handed over by our Church of England moral eunuchs (no doubt completely free) to M*sl*m religious organisations to be turned into mosques and *sl*mic centres
Ethnic cleansing: Also in our inner cities, we will see M*sl*m gangs terrorising the few remaining indigenous British residents forcing them to move away and thus accelerating the *sl*mic takeover
These are just some of the things we can expect over the next few years.
