A long-serving Waitrose employee was sacked after stopping a suspected shoplifter stealing a bag of luxury Easter eggs.
Walker Smith, 54, was working at the supermarket’s Clapham Junction branch in south London when a shopper alerted him to the alleged theft. “They told me someone had filled up a Waitrose bag with the eggs,” he said. Mr Smith said the suspect was known to staff and had targeted the store before.
He confronted the individual and “grabbed the bag”, but the person pulled it back, leading to a brief struggle. The bag split during the scuffle, sending Lindt Gold Bunny Easter eggs, worth £13 each, crashing to the floor. The shoplifter then fled.
Mr Smith said he was previously told not to approach shoplifters but the toll of repeatedly seeing them get away with theft spurred him into action. “I’ve been there 17 years. I’ve seen it happen every hour of every day for the last five years,” he said. “It’s everybody from drug addicts to teenagers nicking bits and bobs or walking out with bottles of wine in their arms. We’re not allowed to do anything.”
He said security had been scaled back in the shop, with no guards working on Mondays and Tuesdays because “shoplifting incidents aren’t reported enough”.
Official figures show there were 519,381 shoplifting offences recorded in England and Wales in the year to September 2025, a 5 per cent rise on the 492,660 logged the previous year, according to the Office for National Statistics. So that makes around 1,500 a day, though most probably don’t get reported.

That third-rate, mid-managerial, lying robot Starmer seems to have a new catch-phrase – “I will always act in the best interests of the British people“. As he stands at a lectern with a Union Jack behind him, the (IMHO) recidivist-lying PoS solemnly declares his patriotism and dedication to our country. I’m surprised he manages to say “I will always act in the best interests of the British people” without bursting into laughter.
Anyway, let’s just spend a few moments testing lying PoS Starmer’s claim: “I will always act in the best interests of the British people”:
letting around 50,000 men from the world’s worst and most primitive, violent, misogynist sh*t-holes come to Britain across the Channel while doing absolutely nothing to stop the boats
making the UK the most attractive country in the world for illegal migrants with free accommodation, free food, free clothes, free medical and dental care, free spending money and huge amounts of free legal aid to fight any attempt to deport them
forcing British households and businesses to pay the highest energy prices in the developed world bankrupting both people and businesses
refusing to use Britain’s energy resources – oil, gas and coal – to lower British energy prices and provide Britain with a secure source of energy in an increasingly turbulent world
giving away British territory – in fact, paying other countries billions of our money to take territory we control. The Chagos Islands are just the first step in the process. Starmer is also handing Spain more control over Gibraltar and I suspect the Argies will be getting the Falklands fairly soon as Starmer claims he is forced to obey “international law”
wrecking the ‘special relationship’ with the USA in order to drag Britain back into Starmer’s beloved corrupt, bureaucratic, stagnant EU
taxing businesses into bankruptcy in order to have more money to shower on our useless, do-nothing, achieve-nothing, skive-from-home public sector and on the nine plus million who can’t be arsed to get out of bed in the morning and go to work
setting up a two-tier justice and policing system whereby any White Brit writing hurty words on the Internet gets investigated and often tried and imprisoned while thieves, muggers and rapists from non-white communities are usually just handed suspended sentences if they are even punished at all
crushing freedom of speech with new laws and restrictions and definitions so that anyone daring to criticise Starmer’s ship-of-fools government or its policies risks fines and even imprisonment
scrapping jury trials for many offences making it easier for the government to throw its opponents in prison
delaying and cancelling elections in areas where Labour thinks that Reform might win
ensuring that White British will be a minority in their own country by the 2050s

First I just wanted to bring you a comment written by one viewer of a YouTube video about the Derby car ramming.

You can’t beat British anti-establishment humour. I guess that’s why our UK-hating government is trying to criminalise it and ban it.

PPE- Piss Poor Economics?
Here are some recent prime ministers who studied PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) at Oxford University: Harold Wilson, Edward Heath, David Cameron, Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak. Lots of other British politicians also did PPE at Oxford:
Labour: Ed Balls, Yvette Cooper, Peter Mandelson, David Miliband, Ed Miliband, Ruth Kelly, James Purnell, Tony Benn, Barbara Castle, Alan Beith, Rushanara Ali.
Conservative: Jeremy Hunt, Philip Hammond, William Hague, Damian Green, Nicky Boles, Alan Duncan, Chris Huhne, Michael Heseltine, Nigel Lawson.
Liberal Democrat: Ed Davey, Danny Alexander.
And, of course, Britain’s most successful female Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, also studied at Oxford. Though she did the serious course – Pure Economics.
So what?
Theoretical nonsense?
One of the basic principles of economics is the ‘Supply and Demand Curve’. Here’s just one example:
I think this means if demand for an item increases, then the price asked will often increase. Conversely, if demand falls, then the price may also reduce in order to stimulate demand.
Professor Google helpfully adds:
“Adam Smith (1723–1790) popularised the concepts of supply and demand in The Wealth of Nations (1776), describing them as the “invisible hand” that guides free markets toward equilibrium. He theorized that market prices, driven by competition, naturally balance the quantity producers supply with the demand from consumers”.
Meanwhile back in the real world
Let’s imagine a multi-national company with manufacturing plants in say Britain, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Let’s just assume for simplicity that the factories make chocolate bars. Now let’s imagine a business-hating Labour government gets elected in Britain as people revolt after 14 years of Tory lies, incompetence, bungling, corruption and treachery. Now let’s imagine that the business-hating Labour government massively increases taxes on business and on anybody who can be bothered to get up in the morning and go to work. At the same time this business-hating Labour government hugely increases the benefits paid to the 9+ million scroungers and parasites who’d much rather stay at home watching Netflix or suchlike on their widescreen TVs than go to work.
The continuing increases in taxes and the financial burden of the ever-increasing number of idlers and layabouts send the economy into recession. The demand for chocolate bars in Britain falls. According to the wondrous ‘Supply and Demand Curve’ this will lead to a fall in the price of those chocolate bars. But that’s not what actually happens.
Faced with falling UK demand, the multinational realises that with increasing taxation and the world’s highest energy prices due to the monumental stupidity of Ed ‘two-kitchens’ Miliband’s insane Net Zero economic suicide, that they would be losing money on their British factory were they to reduce the price of their chocolate bars.
So, instead of cutting the price of the chocolate bars as the ‘Supply and Demand Curve’ predicts, the multinational instead shuts its UK factory and starts supplyig the UK market from its factories in Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic. More than 150 UK jobs suddenly disappear. This also has a knock-on effect on the town where these 150 workers live as they can no longer afford to buy many of the things they did in the past.
Models like the ‘Supply and Demand Curve’ may have worked in Adam Smith’s era when manufacturing tended to be done within a country. But when most of the things we buy are now provided by multinationals with factories in several countries, a fall in demand in one country doesn’t necessarily lead to a price reduction. Instead it can lead to closing that operation. And once it is closed, it doesn’t re-open even if demand picks up again.
Professor Google tells us: “Based on analysis of ONS data released in early 2026, the UK manufacturing sector experienced a reduction in its workforce of over 36,000 people in 2025“
If I remember correctly, around 185,000 manufacturing jobs were lost in Europe’s manufacturing powerhouse – Germany – in 2025. The loss of these often well-paid jobs will be a catastrophe for those thrown out of work and their families. It will also have been disastrous for the towns where these 185,000 people live, leading to the closure of shops, restaurants, bars and other local facilities.
So, while Rachel ‘1+1=3’ Reeves, Torsten ‘tax-tax-tax’ Bell and Darren ‘they’re mostly women and children’ Jones play around with their outdated economic models, in the real world they are doing irreparable damage to the economy and people’s lives. The clever theoretical models predict that when demand rises again, the 36,000 Brits and 185,000 Germans who lost their manufacturing jobs in 2025 will mysteriously be employed again. Of course, in the real world that doesn’t happen because when businesses close – ‘once it’s gone, it’s gone’.
How stupid do they think we are? You’ll have seen the many reports that two “British” men have been arrested (then released on bail) suspected of the arson attack on the Jewish ambulances in Golders Green (London).
Every article about the arrest of the two men stresses they are “British”.
The Guardian tells us: “Two UK nationals released on bail while Met continues investigation into incident in Golders Green”.
The BBC: “The men, British nationals aged 47 and 45, were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and have now been bailed until April“.
The Washington Post: “Two British men detained in a suspected antisemitic hate crime are released on bail”.
The Metropolitan Police: “The men – [A] aged 47 and [B] aged 45 and both British nationals – were arrested on the morning of Wednesday, 25 March at addresses in north west London and central London areas respectively”.
CNN: “The pair, British nationals aged 47 and 45, were arrested at two separate addresses in the capital on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life, the Metropolitan Police said in a statement Wednesday”.
It could be that the men are just ordinary criminals hired to carry out the attack. Or it could be that at least one of the men is called “Mohammed”. Will we ever be told? Or in the interests of ‘community cohesion’, the case will be kicked into the long grass and it will be months or longer before the truth comes out?
In passing, it might be worth mentioning that two men setting fire to ambulances with the intent of endangering life are granted bail as they are clearly no threat to society. And two of our Muslim friends who launched a brutal attack on police officers at Manchester Airport are granted bail as they are clearly no threat to society. But a white Brit writing and then quickly deleting a hurty tweet is refused bail, tried with incredible haste and immediately imprisoned.
By the way, what happened to the two Pakistani Muslims filmed attacking police at Manchester airport? Kicked into the long grass?
By the way, what happened to the alleged Ukrainian rent boys alleged to have attacked a property and a car in North London which are alleged to have some connection with our noble and honourable Prime Minister? Kicked into the long grass?
The more you think about it, the ‘long grass’ seems to be rapidly filling up with cases our leaders don’t want us knowing anything about.
When the anti-government protests broke out in Iran, many protestors kept calling for US president, Donald Trump, to help them throw out the oppressive, incompetent, corrupt and murderous Islamic regime. Trump promised help. But rather than launching a few inconclusive air strikes, he took the time to assemble a massive military force and then the US and Israel destroyed most of the IRGC’s air force, air defences, navy and military installations and have sent many of the mad Ayatollahs’ key figures to Paradise. But Trump was very clear about his objectives:
Degrading Iranian Missile Capabilities
Annihilating the Iranian Navy
Preventing a Nuclear Weapon
Limiting Regional Proxies
One thing Trump made very clear was that the US would not be invading to topple the blood-drenched medieval Islamic regime. His message to Iranians was along the lines of: ‘We’ll cripple the IRGC and devastate the Islamic regime, but if you want regime change, you’ll have to do that yourselves.’
If I remember correctly, the IRGC has around 135,000 combatants. Though hopefully that number has been considerably reduced since the US/Israeli assault started. The Mad Mullahs also have another 5,000 to 10,000 goat botherers imported from several Arab countries to murder Iranian protestors in the streets, hospitals and even their own homes. The regular Iranian army has over 800,000 troops. Moreover, as military conscription is compulsory in Iran, there must be well over a million men who are now in civilian life but who have some military experience. I had assumed that, once the IRGC’s military capabilities had been considerably degraded and their leaders discombobulated, the army would take over, throw out the crazed Ayatollahs and prepare the country for a more westernised, more democratic and more prosperous future.
But nothing seems to have happened. The Iranian army’s more than 800,000 troops seem to have become invisible.
Of course, nobody is ever going to listen to a nonentity like myself. But my warning to the Iranians is that at some point the Americans and Israelis will consider that they have achieved their main objectives and back off. If the Iranians don’t seize the opportunity they now have to rid their country of the bloodthirsty, death-obsessed Islamist lunatics, the retribution the Mullahs will exact on the Iranian population will be horrific. Crane operators will be very busy indeed conducting public hangings of ‘the enemies of God’.
So Iranians, this is your chance. You’d better take it while it’s there. As Nike advise: “Just do it!” If you don’t move now, Hell is coming to breakfast!
I haven’t been studying the news about the Meningitis outbreak too closely. But from what I have seen, it appears that the ‘brilliant’ UKHSA (UK Health Security Agency) have traced the likely source to a nightclub called ‘Chemistry’ or something like that at some university or other. And the reason the Meningitis has spread, the UKHSA has informed journalists, may be linked to the fact that we stopped vaccinating children against Meningitis a few years ago.
From what I’ve seen, the ‘brilliant’ (and no doubt politically correct, woke) UKHSA has not thought to mention something called the Meningitis Belt. Here it is:

Of course, I’m not an infectious diseases expert. In fact, I’m not an expert in anything. But I can’t help wondering whether the UKHSA and the BBC and the mainstream media have been ‘encouraged’ to avoid linking the current Meningitis outbreak to the invasion of our crumbling country by all sorts of wonderful culturally-enriching and exotic disease-carrying illegal migrants? Could our rulers possibly be a little reluctant to let us know that the recent rise in cases of exotic diseases like Meningitis, Tuberculosis and Diphtheria have been caused by their policy of replacing White British with Third-world flotsam?
Apparently, you’re encouraged to get vaccinated against Meningitis should you be visiting any of the countries in the Meningitis Belt. But if you flood into Britain illegally from countries in the Meningitis Belt, you’re welcomed with open arms, a four-star hotel, free money, free phone, free everything and given no proper health screening at all.
Oh, the joys of Starmer’s open-borders, ‘let’s replace the White British’ immigration.

Britain has survived many catastrophes in the past. But it has always managed to fight back and renew itself. However, I worry that this time, we will never recover from 14 years of the treacherous incompetence and stupidity of LibDems pretending to be Tories and now up to five years of globalist communists pretending to represent the British working classes.
There are three main reasons for my weekend pessimism:
we are no longer British
the majority loathe our country and culture
Labour will deliberately sabotage the country if they believe Reform might win the next election
We are no longer British
Much has been written about this, so I’ll keep this brief. It is estimated that by the 2050s White British will be a minority in their own country. We will no longer be a cohesive population. Instead Britain will consist of ethnic and religious groups all fighting metaphorically (and maybe even kinetically) for power and their share of our ever-diminishing national wealth. Our new friends and neighbours from Eritrea and Sudan and Crapistan and wherever are rather unlikely to be particularly patriotic to Britain. Instead their loyalties will lie with their group. We are becoming Lebanon and a failed state and the government will continue enforcing ever more oppressive measures to try to prevent White British fighting back against the foreign invasion and societal destruction of their country.
The majority loathe our country and culture
The latest IPSOS poll of voting intentions puts Refom ahead of all the other parties:
But what is possibly more important is not how any individual party might perform, but how the electorate splits between those who believe in Britain and those who loathe our country and its history, loathe the idea of anyone becoming successful and wealthy by creating jobs and are determined to bring us all down to the lowest level by destroying what little is left of our industry with the ludicrous but economically-suicidal Net Zero fantasy.
The pro-Britain voting intention stands at 45% (Reform and Conservative). Though after the last 14 years of Tory incompetence, lies and gerenal uselessness one could question whether the Conservatives actually believe in Britain. But the anti-British voting intention is 47% (Labour, Greens and LibDems). The majority of those polled don’t want Britain to succeed.
If you’re an international company or an oil company and you look at the hostile political environment against business and against using British energy resources, you’re not going to invest in Britain. Optimists might argue that if Reform get in and cut corporation taxes and issue North Sea exploration licences, the country could be saved from economic collapse. But all companies know that the political pendulum always swings and that a Reform government could easily be replaced by a leftist anti-Britain, anti-business, pro-Net Zero coalition. So there’s no point in investing in Britain. After all, even if drilling were to restart in the North Sea, a new leftist government could impose such high taxes that any oil or gas company could see their UK business crippled.
Labour will deliberately sabotage the country
We see this happening already. Not only are Labour doing absolutely nothing to stop the illegal migrant invasion, but they are desperately protecting the incentives – hotel accommodation, free healthcare, free phones, free money, free legal aid to fight deportation, free everything – which make Britain the destination of choice, Moreover, Labour are implementing ever more oppressive policies to prevent British people protesting:
two-tier policing which brutally punishes White British while being more than lenient to anyone from any other ethnic background
£1.8 billion spent on digital ID so the government caan increase its control over us
a new definition of ‘anti-Muslim hostility’ which suffocates free speech and protects a group which some British fear due to what they have seen in other countries
government policy, especially foreign policy, now made mainly to favour a certain religious group against the interests of the British people
Meanwhile Ed Miliband is condemning us to the highest energy prices in the developed world by:
issuing contracts for wind and solar power which are much higher than current prices
ordering exploratory fracking wells to be concreted over so they can never be used
And Rachel Reeves’s (actually Torsten ‘tax-tax-tax’ Bell’s and Darren ‘they’re mostly women and children’ Jones’s) flood of anti-business taxes will destroy many British companies leaving a wrecked economy for whoever replaces our worthless, antiBritish Labour excuse for a government.
Conclusion
That, in brief, is why I fear Britain will never recover from its current rush to commit societal, cutural and economic suicide.
