One of Blair’s many vacuous promises was to increase the number of people graduating from Britain’s universities. He did this by allowing every third-rate  and fourth-rate polytechnic and further education college to apply for, and usually get, university status. Poly teachers were delighted – becoming a university overnight gave them massive pay rises and lots of extra jobs as they extended one-year and two-year poly courses into three-year supposedly “degree-level” courses. For example, I am informed by journalists on my local paper that students taking a three-year university course in journalism follow almost exactly the same syllabus as they did when they took their 40-week journalism course at the local poly.

As with most of Blair’s worthless policies, this has proved to be a disaster – now that university fees have been hugely increased, many students find they are paying for three extremely expensive years tuition to get what is basically a one-year poly diploma. What universities should be doing is of course cutting many three-year former poly courses back to two or even one year. But this won’t happen because greedy, lazy poly teachers would lose status and even jobs.

The only people who can cause change are students. So, as your lecturers threaten yet again to strike over their incredibly generous pensions, look at them and ask yourself  ‘am I really getting a valuable three-year degree or are my lecturers just poly teachers pretending to be university lecturers?’ If so, then take action, demand a reduction in fees, blockade your campus, buycott classes – don’t let yourselves be screwed by greedy poly teachers pretending to be what they are not.

Here we go again, another almighty cock-up at HMRC’s computer system. At the busiest time of the year – the end of one tax year and start of the next - HMRC closes its useless computer system down for four days. Only the incompetent fools at HMRC could decide to do routine maintenance when taxpayers have most need of the computer system to work. But in all the stories about HMRC’s complete incompetence, one name is cleverly kept out of the press – that of French computer systems company Cap Gemini. As far as I know, Cap Gemini have been running HMRC’s computer systems for many years and still are. In spite of blunder after blunder the avaricious Cap Gemini manage to keep their lucrative contract with HMRC without anyone in power questioning why Cap Gemini’s repeated failures keep getting rewarded by more government contracts.

By the way, dear HMRC, if you wish to collect more tax revenue and reduce the deficit, what about looking into how Cap Gemini’s bosses organise their tax affairs. In particular you may find an investigation, particularly into how some French gentlemen organise their tax affairs, to be most productive. On the other hand it may not be. Who knows?

Whenever the Israelis kill Palestinians dedicated to the destruction of Israel, the BBC and Guardian are full of shocking stories of supposed “Israeli brutality”. But when Arabs slaughter Arabs, there is much less outrage. Of course, both the BBC and Guardian report on the ongoing oppression in Syria, but you have to turn to Arab TV station Al Jazeera to get the truth about what is happening. What Arabs are doing to other Arabs is truly disgusting. There are, for example, credible reports from Syrian refugees of Syrian forces rounding up groups of women, raping them in front of their families then spraying them with gunfire while shouting “how do you like your freedom now?” Al Jazeera has the courage to tell us about these events, the politically-correct BBC and Guardian have decided to hush these up as they don’t want us to get the impression that Arabs are behaving like animals to other Arabs.

While the BBC and Guardian gush on about the wonderful “Arab Spring”, we should probably be worrying about the coming Arab winter when Muslim extremists take over countries like Egypt and Libya and the Sunnis and Shiites decide it’s time to try to wipe each other out.

If you or anyone you know is saving for a pension, please watch out for this trick as it will make you an awful lot poorer. It goes like this: A financial adviser or pension company suggests that you should take your money out of an older pension scheme and put it into a newer one. Usually they will argue that many older schemes are expensive and underperforming, whereas newer schemes have lower fees and should do better. Hundreds of thousands of people have fallen for this trick. If you’re say fifteen years from retirement and you switch, your adviser will pocket almost a quarter of your savings in commission. You switch, they get rich! A study done by the FSA of hundreds of people advised to switch could not find a single example where it was actually in the customers’ interests to switch – it was only in the financial advisers’ interest.

If you really are unhappy with your current pension company, you have two choices. 1. You can just stop saving with that company and start with a different one. 2. If you really want to switch there are only three or four short documents which need your signature and the company receiving your money will usually be happy to guide you through these. So do it yourself and then there’s no need to hand over up to a quarter of your money to any adviser.

Please do not let yourself or anyone you know be caught by the “switch and get rich” trick.

Even when our enemy Pakistan hid Bin Laden beside a major military base, President Obama had the courage to send in a team to kill him. In France, Sarkozy has responded to Muslim extremism by starting to throw out some of those who preach hatred. But in Britain our hopeless government grovels to Muslim leaders who promote hate and violence against us. We also pay them tens of thousands of pounds a year in benefits so they can live here comfortably while recruiting terrorists and trying to destroy our society. As for our enemy Pakistan, we actually give them millions of pounds a year to buy weapons for the Taliban to kill and maim British soldiers.

Cameron, you really are a gutless, spineless coward – terrified of Muslims, terrified of Barroso and his whore Nick Clegg and afraid to stand up for Britain.

Those, who make a very good living from promoting the scare that Global Warming is man-made, link two “facts”. One – the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is increasing. Two – the earth is (probably) getting a bit warmer. From this they have built the elegant theory that carbon dioxide is creating a greenhouse effect causing irreversible warming. But there is another equally valid way of linking these two facts which is seldom discussed. This alternative theory proposes that the earth goes through cycles of warming and cooling due to solar activity. Currently we are in a warming phase and the increasing temperatures cause the oceans to release more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. So the increase in carbon dioxide could be the result of natural warming rather than the cause of man-made warming. Soon we’ll enter a cooling phase and we’ll find we’ve wasted hundreds of billions and destroyed millions of jobs with unnecessary “green” taxes on fighting a disaster that didn’t exist. Remember, in the 1970s the same climate research centres which are talking up man-made Global Warming told us that we were moving into a new Ice Age – well they got that one wrong too!

If this is the case, then there’s no big scare to be foisted on the public; there’s no need for the warming fantasists to get huge research grants and lots of publicity and there’s absolutely no need for supposedly “green” taxes and wind-farm subsidies and all the other rubbish that’s being foisted on us. The “man-made warming” fanatics have (probably knowingly) mixed up cause and effect. What they’ve done is a bit like visiting a supermarket, noticing that many people buying paper tissues have got colds and then concluding that colds are caused by paper tissues – confusing cause and effect. When will any of our leaders have the courage to expose the man-made Global Warming for the scam that it actually is?

Myanmar’s latest stumbling steps towards openness and democracy mean there are really only three hell-holes left in Asia – North Korea run by a fat freak who will probably follow his father’s example and starve millions of his own people to death so that he can eat well and live in luxury; Pakistan run by its ludicrously corrupt president “Mr Ten Percent”, a country that is our enemy and which uses British aid money to buy weapons for Afghan freedom fighters which are then used to kill and maim our troops; and Bangladesh a rotten, corrupt cesspit with no hope.

But in Africa any progress is much more difficult to see. The two Sudans are starting yet another war; Senegal’s corrupt judges laughably permitted the former president to run for a third term in office even though the constitution limited presidents to two terms, fortunately this crook lost; South Africa is ridden with corruption, incompetence and poverty and is ruled by a buffoon; most other countries are run by a kleptocratic elite who pillage all their countries’ resources while keeping their people in grinding poverty; Nigeria would be one of the richest countries in the world if its leaders hadn’t stolen most of its wealth and moved it into offshore bank accounts; the Horn of Africa is yet again having a famine; and repeated UN studies have shown that out of every £100m we give in aid to Africa over £90m is lost due to corruption and incompetence.

We should be happy that most Asian countries have realised that development is better than kleptocracy. We should probably give up on Africa – a continent whose leaders’ greed and stupidity have condemned it to remain a hell-hole for almost all its people.

Any political leader can expect to be despised by his or her opponents, especially at a time of economic crisis. But corrupt liar David Liar Cameron seems to have achieved the almost impossible – he is probably loathed more by Tory voters and the Tory press than he is by his opponents. Cameron’s opponents expceted the worst from him and they were not disappointed – he turned out to be an arrogant, venal, lying, PR spiv rather than a political leader. But for Tories there is a real sense of betrayal. They had trusted Liar Cameron and now he has let them down he will not easily avoid their fury. Of course, the brown-nosing sycophants who “advise” Cameron and Osborne will claim that the public have not understood their policies and that they just need to explain them better. But this is rubbish. I once tried to become an adviser to Osborne and even got as far as a meeting at Westminster with one of his minions (hello Claire). But then I found that Osborne, like Liar Cameron, wasn’t looking for people with independent ideas, he just wanted arse-lickers and professional grovellers who would tell him the sun shines out of his arse.

The fact that Cameron and Osborne choose to be surrounded by professional arse-lickers, sycophants, grovellers and careerist rubbish is one of the main reasons they lurch from disaster to disaster. Ultimately, Cameron and Osborne couldn’t give a toss. They couldn’t give a toss about the loss of British lives in the lost war against Afghan freedom-fighters; they couldn’t give a toss about defending Britain against the EU takeover; they couldn’t give a toss about defending the interests of ordinary people. Like Blair they will go on to make many millions from their connections – so why should these greedy, lying, corrupt scum give a toss about anybody else?

Perhaps Cameron and Osborne will start a war with Syria or Iran or Argentina to try to distract public attention from their own incompetence, dishonesty and corruption.

Cameron is finished, he has become a joke and you cannot govern or win elections when people treat you with mockery and contempt. With his stupid “Big Society” rubbish; his lies about “we’re all in this together” and buying a pasty from a shop which had closed long before he supposedly visited it; and his corruption – “we’ll change the law in exchange for loads of money” – he is completely discredited. Liar Cameron had an historic opportunity. After 13 years of Labour misrule, corruption and waste he could have transformed Britain. Instead he turned out to be a shallow, lying, incompetent, self-serving, arrogant PR spiv and has almost certainly guaranteed the return of Labour with the useless Ed Miliband and Gordon Brown’s acolyte the repulsive “tax and waste” idiot Ed Balls.

Cameron should resign now – he can claim ill health or wanting to spend more time with his family or whatever – we’re used to his lies. He should take that fatuous fool Osborne with him. Then the Tories should replace them with people who have integrity and can gain the public’s respect – whoops, there is nobody in the Tory Party who could do that. They’re all too busy fiddling their expenses and earning millions from their second, third and even fourth jobs. What a shambles, what a catastrophe for Britain.

Having spent some time in an Asian city that can probably claim to be the sex capital of the world, I could not help noticing some differences in how various nationalities satisfied their sexual needs. (Please note I was with my wife, so had limited opportunities for personal indulgence beyond my permitted twice weekly). Many Japanese, it seems, are training to become gynaecologists as they spend an inordinate amount of time putting various objects – fingers, hands, ice cubes, bottles, rubber penises and so on – into the vaginas of the gogo bar girls. Although there are thousands of stunning, slim Asian beauties available, Arabs tend to choose the fattest, ugliest women they can find – the fatter, the better for them. Most Russians here have come with their families, but one solo male I talked with explained “we Russians, we like f–k asshole”. Rather than taking one girl each, Indians tend to go in groups of 4 to 5 men and take one girl for the whole group. What they then do with the girl, I hate to imagine. But at least she probably earns more in one bruising session than most other workers earn in a week.

The young French and Brits go for the best-looking girls. But there also swarms of older (60+) French and British men. Their preference appears to be young boys – unfortunately between the ages of 13 to 15 which is illegal. At the flats where we stayed, the manageress had instructed security guards not to let any boys below the age of consent into customers’ rooms. This apparently caused some furious arguments and led to some embarrassing situations. In just one week, a former British pilot aged 74 was caught by police sucking the penis of a 15-year old boy in the Brit’s car and a couple of days later, another Brit was caught by police having his penis sucked for a tenner by an underage boy when a cleaner saw them going into a shopping centre toilet together.

Well they do say that travel broadens the mind.
