Professor Dumbo defends our lazy thieving MPs

I was recently on a radio talkshow discussing the government’s plan to reduce the number of MPs from 646 to 600. I was arguing that we should only have 200 to 300 MPs. But opposing me was a supposed professor of political sciences from a third-rate university. This professor, let’s call him professor Dumbo, claimed that our MPs were extremely hard-working and that it would a mistake to reduce their numbers. But let’s consider a few things. Firstly, like our MPs, professor Dumbo has probably spent his life pocketing a generous salary paid for by people who mostly earn much less and work much harder than he does. Secondly, like our MPs, professor Dumbo contributes nothing to our national wealth. After all, what use are his students to our country? What do they produce that can be sold to our trading partners? Nothing.

Our MPs are lazy, arrogant and dishonest. They have so little work that most have lucrative second and third jobs. And their dishonesty is now legendary. Professor Dumbo is a parasite like most of our MPs so no wonder he defends them.
