Meanwhile Lebanon’s (IMHO) monumentally corrupt president has pledged “swift justice”. But at the same time he has rejected widespread calls for an international probe, telling a reporter he saw it as an attempt to “dilute the truth”. No doubt Lebanese police investigators will be much more amenable, than international investigators, to reporting the ‘truth’ that suits Lebanon’s looting and pillaging ruling elites.

Heatwave – I blame our useless government
Yesterday was so hot that it made me and lots of other people really angry/furious/outraged (delete as appropriate)
This is obviously all the fault of our hopeless joke of a Prime Minister – Bo Jo the clown Johnson – and his evil, quarantine-breaking dark lord side-kick Cummings. By spending so much time on getting Brexit done, they have let the sun get totally out of control. So now we will have record temperatures this weekend with no attempt by our hopeless politicians to make provisions for it.
Boris, you were warned that there could be a heatwave. In August 2003 the UK experienced heatwave conditions lasting 10 days and resulting in 2,000 deaths. During this heatwave, a record maximum temperature of 38.5 °C was recorded at Faversham in Kent. So you should have known that there would have been another heatwave some time in the future.
Moreover, Britain’s weather forecasters were predicting this weekend’s heatwave as recently as last week. But has your useless government planned for it? No! If you’d listened to the science, you’d have known it would be hot this weekend. Then your government could have taken action and the country wouldn’t be in the dreadful mess it now finds itself in with millions at risk of losing their lives on Britain’s ‘beaches of death’ and in Britain’s ‘back gardens of death’.
I went to the shops yesterday and the shelves had been stripped of sun-tan lotion and other PPE (pink-skin protective equipment):
Moreover, you can’t get a paddling pool (PPE – paddling pool equipment) for love nor money. I asked the assistant when they would be getting any more PPE (paddling pool equipment) and they said they didn’t know. A paddling pool is surely one of the most basic items every household needs whenever there’s a heatwave and there aren’t any available! Why didn’t your government have a national stockpile of paddling pools available for emergencies like this weekend? After all, it’s only 17 years since the disastrous 2003 heatwave. There should have been national emergency stocks of paddling pools all around the country. Maybe even in damp, gloomy, ever-rain-swept, miserable, ever-whining, benefits-dependent Scrotland?
My question to you, Boris, is why? Why are we in this awful mess? Why haven’t you organised emergency flights bringing paddling pools direct from disease-ridden China? OK, I realise that being Made in China all the paddling pools would have leaks and be useless:
But even a leaking, useless paddling pool from China is better than nothing at all.
I am furious at your Government’s incompetence, Boris. We the British people expect our government to protect us from everything so we don’t have any responsibility for our own decisions. And what do we get?

Today the temperature in some places in Britain may actually be higher than 30 degrees. The BBC news have issued warning after warning about how incredibly dangerous this might be.
There were even the usual photos of supposedly crowded Bournemouth beach:
These were meant to frighten us into hiding in our homes to avoid the serious risk of a horrible death either by the sun and/or the Chinese Covid-19 plague.
There are just a few small problems with the BBC’s latest attempts to terrify us:
today’s predicted temperatures for some of us are just what many people want when they take holidays abroad and most people don’t die from heat stroke on their holidays
the photos are apparently taken with a special lens (telephoto?) which makes the beach look a lot more crowded than it really is
Bournemouth beach is about 10km long and at least 50m wide meaning there are over 500,000m2 of beach – thus there’s plenty of room for lots of people
given how British beach-goers always try to sit as far away as possible from other people, very few beach-goers will ever come within 2 metres of other groups
with the Chinese Covid-19 plague, a beach is probably the safest place to be as the prevailing wind (or sea breeze) will quickly disperse any virus droplets and the sun’s UV rays will quickly kill the virus
the most dangerous place to be at the moment is indoors NOT the beach!
But none of this matters to the propagandising lefties at the BBC. Their job is to try to keep us in a continual state of fear so that it’s easier to control us.
Be not offended
But even if you do dare venture out of your home and avoid Britain’s ‘beaches of death’ you still run some truly frightening risks for yourself and your family. You might, for example, pass a statue of an historical figure you find offensive if you have a useless uni degree in Gender studies or Post-Colonial Guilt because they are a white male and therefore automatically a racist, misogynist white supremacist or because of their role in spreading civilisation and enlightenment to backward Third-Worlders during the growth of the British Empire.
You may even drive down a road named after someone who is an ethnic Brit and not some unknown, fifth-rate African poetess or unknown African supposed freedom-fighter. And that, of course, would be hugely offensive to you as the BBC has repeatedly told you that Britain no longer belongs to white ethnic Brits and we should be ashamed of our history and welcome enthusiastically every rapemigrant who washes up on our shores
You’re safer being brainwashed at home

Here’s a heart-warming story you might have missed last week.
Last Wednesday Zimbabwe’s government signed an agreement supposedly worth $3.5 billion to compensate white farmers who were evicted from their land during a controversial and often violent land redistribution program in the early 2000s under former President Robert Mugabe.
“This momentous occasion is historic in many respects, brings both closure and a new beginning in the history of the land discourse in our country Zimbabwe,” said current President Emmerson Mnangagwa, after signing the agreement at State House with Andrew Pascoe, the president of the Commercial Farmers Union of Zimbabwe.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa, also know as “The Crocodile” is a really jolly, trustworthy chap:
“After almost 20 years of conflict over the land issue, representatives of farmers who lost their land through the fast track reform program and representatives of government have been able to come together to see a resolution of this conflict. To me this is nothing short of a miracle. For me it has been a dream that I will see this day,” said Pascoe.
According to the agreement, 50 percent of the $3.5 billion would be paid with 12 months from the day of signing, while the balance is paid within five years.

Where’s the money coming from?
There’s only one small problem. Zimbabwe is bankrupt as everything that wasn’t nailed down has already been stolen by Zimbabwe’s corrupt leaders – especially by alleged mass-murderer and alleged looter-in-chief President Emmerson Mnangagwa:
Economists agree that the Zimbabwean government, cash strapped after years of hyper-inflation and world-beating incompetence and mismanagement, cannot afford to make the compensation.
In a statement, the Finance Ministry said that they will be issuing long-term bonds and that the parties will approach international donors to try and raise the funds.
I’m not sure who would buy long-term bonds from the Zimbabwean central bank. But no worries, Zimbabwe will also “approach international donors to try and raise the funds”.
Where will the money go?
Hopefully, you’re beginning to get the idea. Now that there’s nothing left to steal in Zimbabwe itself, the country’s leaders/looters have come up with a brilliant idea – get stupid, colonial-guilt-ridden Whities to pour billions into a supposed ‘compensation fund’ and then steal that money too.

And no doubt our useless politicians are dumb enough to fall for this latest multi-billion dollar con. No doubt hundreds of millions of our £12bn foreign aid to Third-World kleptocrats will soon disappear into President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s and his cronies’ fleets of Mercedes, international property portfolios and personal offshore pension funds.

First, I must proudly admit that I have just been banned from commenting on the Times and Sunday Times websites even though I pay an annual subscription.
Normally I only write comments where I believe I have information that some readers may not be aware of. So I don’t do as most people do – just spout inane opinions without ever checking the facts. The subjects I tend to comment on are ones about which I’ve written books – greed and waste in charities; corruption and looting in Africa; the German-run, power-grabbing EU; the incompetence and stupidity of UK governments and the scam perpetrated on students by money-grabbing British universities as they throw worthless degrees around like confetti.
Though I have also warned about Joe Biden’s ever-worsening senility, the farce of supposed Man-Made Global Warming, the fact that the Chinese Covid-19 plague almost definitely leaked from a lab in Wuhan and the hypocrisy of the fascists and anarchists hiding behind the Black Lives Matter protests as they totally ignore the 90% of murdered Western Blacks killed by other Blacks and the over 10,000 Blacks killed every week by poverty in Africa caused by corrupt Black African rulers.
But it seems that my additions to human knowledge are no longer welcome at the Times and Sunday Times and so I have been banned by the (IMHO) EU-loving, Brexit-hating, progressive, virtue-signalling, Clinton-adoring, Trump-loathing woke moderators at the Times and Sunday Times.
It’s the BAME Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) again today
I get the feeling that the BBC tried to blackmail the Government and failed.
When withdrawing free TV licences for the over 75s the BBC were quite clever. What the BBC did was to continue to offer free TV licences to any over 75s on Pension Credits. When doing this, the BBC knew full well that 39% of households eligible for Pension Credits don’t claim the benefit. That’s 590,000 households who could get Pension Credits but which didn’t claim. Official figures show that Pension Credit take up was similar for those under 75 (62%) and those 75 and over (61%) but was lowest amongst pensioner couples – with just over half of those entitled received the benefit.
According to Age UK, Department for Work and Pensions figures show an estimated £1.1 billion of available Pension Credit went unclaimed in both 2017 and 2018. Age UK state that “On average this amounted to more than £2,000 per year for each family entitled to receive Pension Credit who did not claim”.
The BBC calculates that making over-75s pay for their TV licence will bring in an extra £745m. That’s around 4.7 million households who will now have to pay for TV licences that previously got them free. But the BBC also knows that if just two thirds (372,000) – 63% – of the 590,000 households which currently are entitled to but don’t claim Pension Credits were to be pushed into claiming the benefit in order to get a free TV licence, then this would cost the Government more than the £745m the Government saved when forcing the BBC to assume the cost of providing free licences for all over 75s.
The BBC, I believe, assumed that the idea of the Government having to pay more in Pension Credits than it saved by forcing the BBC to assume the cost of free TV licences would force the Government to back down. But this didn’t happen. And now the BBC has painted itself into a corner where ever more people are questioning why we are all paying for some BBC rubbish that most people don’t even use any more given that there are so many better alternatives. After all, you don’t pay a tax to Tesco if you do all your shopping in Lidl and Aldi.
Oh, and I should mention that the BBC has had to hire around 800 extra licence enforcers at a cost of perhaps £12m a year to squeeze the TV licence fee from the over-75s who previously got it free.
For a short-term gain, the BAME Broadcasting Corporation have made themselves a figure of loathing and have put the whole concept of the licence fee in danger.

I think it’s this week that the BAME Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) takes away free TV licences from the over-75s who aren’t on Pension Credits.
But what will the BBC do with the extra hundreds of millions it’s about to extract from our elderly?
We already know that the BBC has just announced plans to invest £100 million of its TV commissioning budget (our money forced from us through threats of criminalisation) over the course of three years into bringing audiences more “diverse and inclusive content” as part of its “Creative Diversity Commitment”.
If my somewhat dodgy maths is correct, this £100m to be spent on more diversity is enough to pay for free TV licences for about 670,000 over-75s for one year.
The BBC seems pretty pleased with its new “Creative Diversity Commitment”.
The BBC’s director-general Tony Hall shared in a statement: “The senseless killing of George Floyd – and what it tells us about the stain of systemic racism – has had a profound impact on all of us. It’s made us question ourselves about what more we can do to help tackle racism – and drive inclusion within our organisation and in society as a whole.”
We’ve always been here to celebrate diversity. But we need to do more, and we will.
“This is our response – it’s going to drive change in what we make and who makes it. It’s a big leap forward – and we’ll have more to announce in the coming weeks.”
But do we actually need more diversity?
There’s one small problem with the BAME Broadcasting Corporation’s great plan to be more diverse. BAME people, gays and females are already over-represented in the media (especially the BBC) while white, heterosexual males are under-represented.
Let’s for a moment ignore those with biggest mouths, those who shout loudest and the BLM idiots plus their brain-dead, virtue-signalling supporters all screaming for ever more diversity and do something that seems to have gone out of fashion in our new woke world – let’s look at the actual facts and figures:
Where are the whites, the males and the straights?
A major survey of the British television industry has revealed that Leftist “woke” commentators, gay people and ethnic minorities are massively over-represented.
The Creative Diversity Network (CDN) published its Diamond: The Third Cut report after surveying “over 30,000 diversity forms relating to over 600,000 TV production contributions”.
BAME – The CDN found that “BAME [Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic] on-screen representation” is a remarkable 23% — far above the BAME share of the British general population, estimated at 14%.
Gays– Gay people also get far more on-screen roles than their proportional representation in broader British society would suggest, accounting for on-screen contributions at the BBC (10.7%), ITV (10.5%), Channel 4 (13.1%), Channel 5 (18.1%), and Sky (7.6%) despite making up only around 2% of the general population.
Gay people were similarly over-represented off-screen, accounting for BBC (14.7%), ITV (14.1%), Channel 4 (16.1%), Channel 5 (12.5%), and Sky (10.4%) of off-screen jobs.
Women– Women also enjoyed stronger representation, accounting for 52.4% of on-screen contributions and 53.7% of off-screen contributions, while actually accounting for just 47% of the working-age population.
While these figures reveal most groups supposedly suffering from discrimination are actually over-represented on TV, the foreword to the report ludicrously declares that there is “more work to do”. And it laments that behind the scenes women and minorities “remain absent from many senior creative roles”.
For example, the report bleats and moans that “while females dominate contributions in some production roles, such as commissioning editor (64.6%), head of production (85.8%), and in hair and make-up (98%), they are still under-represented in other areas of production, such as camera (17.3%), sound (15.1%) and lighting (3.7%), and in some senior roles, for example writer (38.1%) and director (26.2%).”
Defund the BBC?
So it seems that the only people who are under-represented in the media (especially the BBC) are white, heterosexual males.
Time to scrap the TV licence? Time to defund the libtard BAME Broadcasting Corporation?

On Wednesday, I watched a video presentation from an organisation of which I’m a member and once spoke at – The Economic Research Council. The speaker this time was an Indian academic who has just written a book “HAS CHINA WON?”
One key idea in the book is that a society that develops and satisfies its population will usually outperform a society that is sclerotic or a society that is tearing itself apart. Hence during the Cold War the USA outperformed the sclerotic, centrally-controlled Soviet Union.
But today we have an increasingly wealthy, nationalist and aggressive China which has taken over 600 million people out of poverty in just 30 years confronting an America which is tearing itself apart over identity politics and the left’s fanatical hatred of Donald Trump. Unless the USA can stop its slide into anarchy, the answer to the question “HAS CHINA WON?” must be “yes”.

The BBC (Biden Broadcasting Corporation?) haven’t said too much about the violent mobs of Biden supporters currently destroying several US cities. But the BBC have enthusiastically reported that six Democratic mayors have urged the US Congress to block the evil Trump administration from sending federal law enforcement agents to their cities.
The BBC don’t mention that the federal law enforcement agents are being sent in to prevent the Biden-voting mobs, encouraged by Democrat mayors like Ted Wheeler from Portland (Oregon), from burning the cities down.
In the letter, the mayors argue that the agents’ presence, against the request of local authorities, is unlawful.
Among the signatories is the mayor of Portland, Ted Wheeler, where there have been over 50 days of riots and where federal agents have clashed with supposed ‘anti-racism’ protesters. (anyone with two brain cells will know that the protests have nothing to do with racism and everything to do with trying to overthrow Trump)
The mayors of Portland, Chicago, Seattle, Albuquerque (New Mexico), Kansas City (Missouri) and Washington DC signed a letter on Monday accusing the Trump administration of “egregious use of federal force”.
“We call on Congress to pass legislation to make clear that these actions are unlawful and repugnant,” the letter, sent to the leaders of both parties in the Senate and House of Representatives.

The group came close to 50 far-right “Three Percenter” militia members, who were also heavily armed. Police kept the sides apart and tensions eventually dissipated. Both militias had said they wanted to avoid violence.

But instead of trying to support the police and establish law and order, the Democrat mayor Ted Wheeler joined the rioters showing where his loyalties lay: “I want to thank the thousands of you who have come out to oppose the Trump administration’s occupation of this city,” Wheeler told people gathered downtown near the federal courthouse, according to the Associated Press. “The reason this is important is it is not just happening in Portland … we’re on the front line here in Portland.” Meanwhile the Portland-based Pacific Northwest (PNW) Youth Liberation Front – which describes itself as a “decentralized network of autonomous youth collectives dedicated to direct action towards total liberation,” has issued a call to action for other Antifa cells across the country on Saturday – calling it “J25” (July 25).

New York: And here are some really woke New Yorkers rioting non-violently this weekend supposedly in support of the Portland rioters. New York Democrat Mayor Bill De Blasio blamed the riots on the police failing to act just weeks after De Blasio cut the budget for the New York Police Department (NYPD) by around $1bn and disbanded the NYPD plain-clothes anti-gun-crime unit. Incidentally, there has been more than a doubling in shootings in New York since the unit was disbanded.

Why didn’t American Indians use the wheel?
Let’s start in the USA. We know that American Indians had the ideal conditions for using wheeled vehicles of some sort. They constantly moved camp to follow their major food sources – usually bison (I imagine). And they had plenty of horses to pull wheeled vehicles. Yet for some reason, American Indians never worked out that pulling something on wheels would be rather more efficient and productive than dragging something along behind their horses:
How about Africans?
If you watch daytime TV, you’ll have been bombarded by begging ads from the (IMVHO) overpaid, over-pensioned, self-serving big bosses at charities like Water Aid.
Invariably these ads feature children walking for miles to fetch stinking, stagnant, polluted water which they carry on their backs or heads:
If I was a nasty, racist cynic, I would probably suggest that if this had been Britain many thousands of years ago, four or five things would have happened:
The men of the village would have got together to discuss the water availability problem
They would have realised that a wheeled vehicle would be much more effective at carrying water to the village than sending small children to carry it
They would have designed some kind of cart or other wheeled vehicle to carry the water
They would have put together teams to collect the water probably even organising some kind of rota whereby every household with an able-bodied person took their turn in getting water for the village
Or else, they might even have thought about moving the village to where there actually was water
But a nasty, racist cynic might suggest that as this is Africa:
The men of the village spend all day sitting around on their arses doing absolutely nothing except chewing khat or some other crap and producing ever more children they can’t afford to feed, clothe or educate
The women do all the work on the subsistence farm and in the home
Nobody has the brains or the motivational initiative to imagine a better way of getting water
Nobody has the IQ required to consider the wheel and put it to use to fetch water even though us evil colonialists brought wheeled vehicles to Africa hundreds of years ago
Nobody would ever have the brains or initiative to think of moving the village to where there was available water
But I’m not a nasty, racist cynic and therefore I would never dream of suggesting any of the above.
But it us remarkable that the Egyptians used wheeled vehicles thousands of years ago with chariots and probably to move material to build the pyramids and Sphynx and statues:
Yet the technology of using wheels didn’t (from the little I understand) spread further south.
So, back to the question – “Would Africans ever have discovered the wheel?” – due to the need to be politically-correct, I have no opinions on the matter or any other matter that could in any way be upsetting for the woke, virtue-signalling, free-speech-loathing, West-hating, self-regarding, pig-ignorant, narcissistic fascists who increasingly control what can and cannot be said and written in Britain
And while we’re on the subject of Water Aid, here are some possibly inconvenient truths:
From what I can see Water Aid raises and spends about £82m a year, has 806 staff and its chief executive gets a remuneration package of £148,204 (salary of £134,123 and pension contribution of £14,081). Just to put this into some context, I think the newish big boss of Oxfam gets a salary of about £120,000. One might wonder why Water Aid’s chief executive should get bigger salary than the chief executive of Oxfam which has a budget (£434m) five times as large as Water Aid’s and over 5,100 employees compared to Water Aid’s 806 employees.
Who gets the money?
Of the £82m a year we give to Water Aid, around £60m theoretically reaches the Third-world poor and the other £20m goes on fundraising and managerial and administrative support. So, about £7.50 of every £10 raised supposedly goes to providing water and sanitation.
The largest recipients of Water Aid’s (our?) money are Mozambique, Tanzania, Burkina Faso and Ethiopia. I have a feeling that the current Water Aid ad campaign is filmed in Ethiopia. But I’m not sure and don’t really care.
I’m sure we’d all agree that these four countries are pretty poor. Or are they?
Let’s have a look at supposedly poverty-stricken Ethiopia. The five richest Ethiopians are worth over $20bn. And there are now at least 15 billionaires in Ethiopia and an estimated 4,700 millionaires.
It would seem that the Ethiopian elites have more than enough money to provide clean water and sanitation for all their people without Water Aid’s help and our money!
And anyway, the Ethiopians manage to keep reproducing at an extraordinary rate despite their grinding poverty. So things can’t be quite as tough there as the bleating charities keep claiming:
There are about 100 million Ethiopians now. By 2050 there will probably be over 250 million. By the end of this century there might be over 500 million – more than the population of the EU. I suspect you’ll find similar situations in every other country where Water Aid and similar charities claim the people need our money – explosive population growth, massive wealth for the corrupt, aid-looting, kleptocrat elites, appalling poverty for the ever-increasing, baby-producing masses and a comfortable, well-paid, tax-free life for the charity do-gooders.
These countries need birth control and a reduction in corruption, NOT ever more of our money!
Time to stop wasting our money on Water Aid? Time to stop wasting our money on Africa?
I have been shocked, horrified, outraged, incandescent etc etc etc at the cruel and heartless way our evil, Izlumophobic government has treated the adorable and innocent British teenager – Shamima Begum.
Shamima represents the best of modern Britain
Shamima is just a normal modern, well-integrated British Muzlim girl. She likes sewing (making suicide vests?), watching TV (beheadings are her favourite?) and hanging out with her friends (viciously beating underage Yazidi girls and dragging them off to be repeatedly raped and then murdered by the brave Jihadi superheroes she worships?). Her favourite subjects while skiving school are biology (producing broods of mini-Jihadis to kill us disgusting subhuman Kaffirs?) and physics (helping assemble suicide bombs?). And like most Brits she’s a great football fan and never misses her favourite team (when they play football with the severed heads of infidels and unbelievers?):
So, how can anyone claim Shamima is a threat to British society?

Anyway, now Shamima wants to come home to Britain presumably to get an education to become an engineer or brain surgeon and make a massive contribution to rebuilding our wonderful, vibrant, diverse, multi-cultural country after the economic devastation caused by the Chinese Covid-19 plague:
No way is she intending to open her legs to every bearded lunatic, who happens to be passing within a hundred metres of her tax-payer provided house, and produce yet more West-loathing, violent, bloodthirsty mini-Jihadis while parasitically living off our overgenerous benefits system for the rest of her life!
Too young to know – old enough to vote?
Shamima’s case does however expose a more than minor contradiction in the claims of the virtue-signalling, lefty, woke, progressive, Izlumophiliac West-haters. The great Jeremy ‘Maduro’ Corbyn inadvertently expressed this rather clearly. At one point, Corbyn demanded that the Begum creature be welcomed back to Britain saying: “We demand the return of Shamima Begum to the UK at once, she was only a 16 year old immature child when she decided to join ISIS and cannot be held accountable for her actions at such a young age”.
So, according to Jeremy and millions of other deluded Izlumophiliac fools, when Shamima went off to join ISIL at 15 or 16, she was far too young to understand what she was doing.
However, before the last election, the very same Jeremy Maduro rather fancied giving the vote to 16- and 17-year-olds as that would hugely increase his chances of winning the election and turning Britain into a European Venezuela. Here’s what Jeremy said: “We demand that 16 year olds be given the vote in the UK, they are responsible and free-thinking young adults”.
So, for the UK-hating, West-loathing lefties 15- and 16-year-olds are both too young to know what they are doing while at the same time being mature enough to be given the vote at 16. I wonder who Shamima will vote for when she soon graces our benighted shores? Probably not the Tories.
Moreover, not only are pig-ignorant, school-skiving 15-year-olds apparently deserving of the vote as soon as they hit 16, but they are also experts in some of the most complex mysteries of science:
