By David Craig, on October 15th, 2010 The universities are shroudwaving claiming that the coming cuts will destroy higher education. But remember, many so-called ‘universities’ are just polytechnics in disguise. To move from poly to uni status, they just extended one- and two-year diploma courses into three-year degree courses – often without changing the content at all. My contacts in the press tell me that they learnt as much in a 40-week diploma course in journalism as today’s students learn in three years on a degree course.
Polytechnics, pretending to be universities, have been conning students for years. It’s time to cut their budgets, cut the length of their courses and make them provide better value for their students.
By David Craig, on October 15th, 2010 It’s party time if you’re a public-sector bureaucrat or quango boss. You can go on earning your six-figure salary and look forward to a six-figure, inflation-protected pension. But if you’re in the private sector, you’re going to get hammered by this useless government’s new taxes. As usual, Cameron the Coward and his sidekick Baron Osborne the multimillionaire are protecting all their rich mates while fleecing the rest of us.
Disgusting, disgraceful, lying cowards. Feathering their own nests while screwing the people who were stupid enough to vote for them.
By David Craig, on October 14th, 2010 Finally the useless Francis ‘All Talk and No Trousers’ Maude has announced the result of the so-called ‘bonfire of the quangos’. He’s not able to say how much money will be saved. He’s not able to say if any money will be saved. He’s not able to say whether the great bonfire will actually cost more than it saves.
My sources from CapGemini, who recently renegotiated their contracts with Auntie Maude, say that he’s an incompetent fool who couldn’t negotiate his way out of a brown paper bag. After meeting him they couldn’t stop laughing at his weakness and incompetence.
By David Craig, on October 13th, 2010 Journalists are praising Red Ed Miliscum’s brave performance at PMQs today. I disagree. Cowardly Cameron asked why some of the poorest people in the country should pay taxes so that Red Ed should get child benefit for his bastard children – Red Ed wasn’t able to give any reason.
So Red Ed, why should people earning £10,000 a year pay taxes so that you get more money for your bastard children? The greedy, self-serving, expenses-fiddling Labour politicians haven’t changed. All they want is as much of our money as they can grab. You’re scum Red Ed, just greedy, worthless scum!
By David Craig, on October 13th, 2010 It looks like the cowardly buffoons running our politically-correct Royal Navy are going to get their expensive but useless aircraft carriers. This is the same Navy that allowed its people to be captured by Iranian gunboats and which watched uninterestedly as a British yachting couple were kidnapped by Somali pirates. This is a navy whose sailors seem more worried about what happens to their iPods than what happens to the people they are paid to protect. This is a navy that has more admirals than ships and which doesn’t deserve to be given a rowing boat, never mind £12bn worth of aircraft carriers.
Never have such a bunch of cowardly fools been given so much for achieving so little.
By David Craig, on October 13th, 2010 Many sources are predicting hundreds of thousands of job cuts in the public sector. These will be both expensive and unnecessary. Expensive because redundancy and benefit payments will wipe out any potential savings. And unnecessary because putting all public-sector managers on a 4-day week would save £100m a week – £5bn a year – more than would be saved by firing two hundred thousand frontline workers.
Cameron and Osborne are bumbling, self-serving fools who are about to cause misery for hundreds of thousands of families. What a disaster!
By David Craig, on October 13th, 2010 Once again England’s overpaid, underperforming excuse for a football team blame the referee for their embarrassingly dismal performance. This time they claim they lost because the ref didn’t spot a hand-ball by a Montenegro player. “We was robbed” England claim yet again.
If England and their £5m a year crappy manager want to win they should play some proper attacking football like Germany and Spain, instead of passing the ball around in their own half like a bunch of frightened rabbits. Why anyone can be bothered to watch this bunch of congenital losers, I don’t understand.
By David Craig, on October 12th, 2010 Government minister Francis Maude is claiming he will clamp down on wasteful and expensive public-sector IT contracts. But a source has told me that Maude recently had a meeting with bosses of French IT firm CapGemini – the idiots responsible for HMRC’s latest disaster where five million of us paid the wrong amount of tax thanks to CapGemini’s bungling incompetence.
Did tough guy Francis Maude demand compensation from CapGemini? Did he heck? According to my sources, CapGemini’s bosses walked all over Maude and will make so many hundreds of millions from us over the next few years that they could hardly stop laughing when they finished ‘negotiating’ with the hopeless Maude, a man who appears to be all talk and no trousers.
By David Craig, on October 12th, 2010 Many people will be choking on their toast this morning when they hear that some BBC bureaucrat will be getting about £1 million of our money to leave his well-paid job and retire on a pension (that we pay for) of just a few hundred thousand pounds a year.
Our spineless PM David Cameron says “we’re all in this together”, but it seems that the useless BBC bosses are all pocketing huge amounts of our money for themselves. Why doesn’t spineless Cameron cut the licence fee to £100 as a punishment for the greed of BBC bosses? Because Cameron is spineless.
By David Craig, on October 11th, 2010 Apparently the reportedly tax-allergic TopShop boss has discovered the blindingly obvious – the public sector is utterly incompetent and wastes huge amounts of our money. Had this knight of the realm read my books Plundering the Public Sector, Squandered or Fleeced, then he could have written his report from the comfort of his Monte Carlo home rather than using some of the days the taxman allows him to visit the UK.
