By David Craig, on February 4th, 2011 When GDP fell by a measly 0.5% in the last quarter of 2010, all the journos and economists started bleating about what a disaster this was. Wrong! Totally wrong! If I remember correctly about a third of GDP is made up of consumption – the things we buy. Given that 40% of our food and at least 80% of the crap (TVs, mobile phones, cars etc) is made abroad, the more we buy, the more jobs we create in other countries, especially currency-manipulating China.
What we really want is for manufacturing, building and services to go up, but for consumption to fall so people save money and pay down their debts. This means that as long as productive activity in Britain increases, it’s good for overall GDP to fall. But I guess they didn’t teach Economics for Beginners at Eaton.
By David Craig, on February 3rd, 2011 You couldn’t make it up. Andrew Lansley is ‘masterminding’ transforming the NHS. The only ‘real’ job the incompetent Lansley had before becoming a politician was at the DTI – the Department for Total Incompetence. Helping this idiot with his great plan are management consultants like McKinsey and KPMG, who were responsible for much of the waste of over £1 trillion under New Labour. And they’re going for what we call a ‘big bang’ change – rather than testing their ideas in a few areas, learning from these pilots and then rolling them out across the country – they’re imposing massive change from the top on all the country at the same time. Big bang change programmes are always disasters, but they earn the management consultants much more money than a more gradual approach.
Only a few things are certain. McKinsey and KPMG will pocket tens or even hundreds of millions that should have been spent on patient care; the changes will cause chaos and cost billions; and the whole thing will end in tears while Liar David Cameron’s spin doctors will claim it has been a massive success. And with people seeing their hospitals closing, A&E services cut and appalling stories of unnecessary deaths from poor care, the Tories will lose millions of votes. One of Lansley’s MP colleagues confided in me that Lansley was a blithering idiot – maybe Lansley, more than anyone else, will be responsible for the Tories losing the next election.
By David Craig, on February 2nd, 2011 Yes, it’s true. That overpaid, self-indulgent and lazy lump that is Wayne Rooney has scored. And this time it’s not with some superannuated prostitute, it’s a real goal in a football match. In fact, he got two goals. This is great for Manchester United fans who are stupid enough to pay Mr. Rooney’s grossly excessive salary. But it’s a sad day for Britain’s whores as Mr. Rooney may now be spending less time (and money) in their company.
By David Craig, on February 1st, 2011 The useless buffoon running the Bank of England, Mervyn King, has just been slipped a nice £1.4m bringing his pension pot up from £3.95m to £5.36m. Not bad when you consider that this incompetent nincompoop has screwed up everything he did. He failed to notice the economy was about to crash, he oversaw the first run on a British bank in about a century, he failed to keep inflation at the target of 2% – in fact he has achieved nothing apart from stuffing his own bank account with our money.
And now this worthless piece of garbage tells us that we’re in for a couple of tough years. He won’t be in for any tough years now that he’s managed to steal so much of our cash. And what does our lying PM David ‘we’re all in this together’ Cameron do to stop the owl-faced idiot taking so much of our money? Nothing, of course.
By David Craig, on January 31st, 2011 I don’t know about you, but my finances aren’t too great at the moment. However, one person is laughing all the way from the bank – the bank in question being the RBS. With his £700,000 a year pension, which you and I pay, Fred Goodwin can laugh contemptuously at the financial difficulties the rest of us are having.
There are good grounds to believe that Fred Goodwin could be successfully prosecuted for false accounting, obtaining money by deception, misleading shareholders, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and many other things. In fact, I reported him to the SFO for fraud about four years ago, but of course Fred knows all the movers and shakers, so nothing was done. So next time our lying PM David “we’re all in this together” Cameron talks about the need for cuts, you should remember that he is protecting all his mates in the ruling elite while heaping misery on the rest of us. Cameron is just a lying parasite like the rest of them.
By David Craig, on January 30th, 2011 Our hopelessly incompetent government now plans to sell off our forests to raise the paltry sum of £100m-£200m. If the government just made all public-sector managers and administrators, who are not directly delivering frontline services, take one day’s unpaid leave sometime within the next year, that would save £200m – enough to avoid having to sell our forests.
But, of course, idiots Cameron and Osborne don’t have the courage to attack the privileges of the overpaid, public-sector bosses. What cowards! What liars! What incompetents!
By David Craig, on January 28th, 2011 Yesterday was a great day for the politically-incorrect. A new study has shown that the Himalayan glaciers aren’t melting after all. In fact several have grown. Yet the bunch of liars, buffoons and fools riding the man-made global warming gravy train told us the Himalayan glaciers would soon disappear. When are our useless politicians going to have the courage to admit that climate will always change but that man-made global warming was concocted by a group of parasites and conmen to give themselves a luxury lifestyle paid for by the rest of us?
And when are we going to ditch carbon trading which is a con making a few insiders unbelievably rich at our expense and when are we going to stop building worthless windfarms which only work about 10% of the time?
By David Craig, on January 27th, 2011 As our economy collapses, our useless lying PM David “we’re all in this together” Cameron and his useless lying chancellor George “we’re all in this together” Osborne are determined to press ahead with cutting public sector jobs. We have to cut public spending after Brown wasted over £1 trillion of our money, but cutting jobs doesn’t cut spending. Firstly, the jobs being cut are usually of low-paid frontline workers – all the highly paid, pointless managers keep their comfortable sinecures. Secondly, when a few managers do go they take hundreds of thousands in redundancy or early retirement so no money is saved anyway.
The only way to cut spending is to put all non-frontline managers and administrators on a 4-day week. This would save £200m a week, with no redundancy or early retirement pay-offs. They could work Monday to Thursday. Plus, freed from interference, most frontline workers would probably deliver better services. But our useless leaders are too arrogant to implement such a simple policy. G-G-G-God help us!
By David Craig, on January 26th, 2011 We British used to be reknowned for our sense of humour and our ability to laugh at ourselves. Yet when a couple of overweight, middle-aged football commentators make a few comments along the lines of “whooah, wouldn’t mind a bit of that” and “nah mate, wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole”, the politically-correct buffoons are howling in outrage screaming “sexist bigots”. Then, probably because Murdoch (who seems to like younger Asian totty himself) is trying to get more control over our media, one of the men gets sacked to appease the howling mob of self-appointed, self-serving thought police.
The disgrace is not in what the men said, but in the hypocritical reaction of the intolerant fools who want to crush free speech. Anyway, Murdoch owns the SUN with its page 3 tits – isn’t that sexist too? What hypocrisy! What intolerance! What a disgrace! What happened to free speech?
By David Craig, on January 25th, 2011 Last night there was yet another bleatingly politically correct programme from the BBC which took man-made global warming as a scientifically proven fact. Yet as we emerge from yet another record cold winter, ordinary people are realising that the man-made global warming theory is just a massive scam pushed by a bandwagon of grant-hungry supposed scientists and ignorant politicians who would happily tax our industries into oblivion. Why should they care what happens to us? They have big salaries, unlimited expenses and taxpayer funded pensions. Moreover, as I explain in my book The Great European Rip-Off the whole emissions trading set-up is rotten and most of the money we pay goes into the pockets of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats in India and China.
I’ve recently been in Asia where an environmental Armageddon is taking place – land is being desecrated and the seas are being empptied to feed the ever-increasing numbers of people. Population growth is exceeding the capacity of the land and seas to provide food. Then when you consider that at least three billion people there will all want cars, fridges and air-conditioning, you realise that any attempts by us to reduce carbon emissions will be dwarfed by the increase in the Third World. Anyway, the biggest problem facing mankind is not climate change, it’s overpopulation. But it is not politicallycorrect to point this out.
