We’re winning in Afghanistan! Hooray!

Of course, we’re not. Yet every year for the last 10 years our lying political leaders claim we’re just about to defeat the Taliban. This war has now gone on for longer than the First and Second World Wars put together. And what progress has been made? None. So, some unpleasant truths. 1. Our soldiers are being killed by Afghan freedom fighters (not the Taliban) trying to throw an invading army out of their country. 2. Our troops are dying and being injured to support a totally corrupt puppet government loathed by most Afghans. 3. Most of the billions we pour into Afghanistan are being stolen by Karzai and his mates and moved into their bank accounts in Switzerland and Dubai. 4. In spite of their crocodile tears, Cameron, Miliband, Fox and the rest of our politicians don’t give a damn about how many soldiers get killed and maimed – all they’re interested in is keeping their jobs and filling their pockets with as much of our money as they can.

A pointless war and a waste of money and life. But to pull out would mean our greedy, lying, thieving politicians would lose face. They’d rather a few hundred more soldiers got killed and maimed than our leaders having to admit that we should have pulled out 9 years ago after the Taliban were thrown out and left the Afghans to sort themselves out.

Wild celebrations in Iran as Mubarak goes

The politically-biased BBC and Egypt aren’t the only places they’ll be celebrating Mubarak’s departure. In Iran, the mad mullahs must be thinking it’s Christmas (or their equivalent). Now they have chance to replace Egypt’s peaceful Western orientated government with a hardline, intolerant religiously-fanatic regime dedicated to the destruction of Israel and the free West. And, as with Iran, once you have a  government which represents the word of the One and Only God, what’s the point of elections? After all, anyone voting against a government supported by God, must be an apostate who deserves to be imprisoned, tortured and even hanged.

Here in the West, we all wish Egypt well on what will hopefully be its journey to freedom. But in Iran, they’ll see the current unrest as an opportunity to drag Egypt back to join them in the Dark Ages.

They’re all afraid of/in the pockets of the banks

Two important decisions this week should have showed us that our government is powerless against the vested interests of the banks. Firstly, there was Boy Liar George’s ludicrous Project Merlin, which gave the banks what they wanted in return for some vague promises about slightly increased lending, which would have happened anyway as the country crawled out of recession. Then came the useless Bank of England’s decision not to raise interest rates because they were afraid this would lead to the banks putting up mortgage rates. But over the last few years of historically low interest rates, the main banks have tripled their profit margins on mortgages. So, if the worthless, self-serving, greedy buffoon Mervyn King and his mates were to raise interest rates to 1%, there is absolutely no need for mortgage rates to go up. The government could easily have put pressure on the main banks to hold interest rates.

But that would require politicians that weren’t afraid of/in the pockets of the big banks. Unfortunately, our greedy political pygmies like liars Cameron and Osborne do what the banks tell them. So much for democracy.

More cuts b–ls–t from the biased BBC

Day after day after day, the supposedly politically neutral BBC brings us gruesome stories about all the services which will be closed and people who will suffer because of the government’s cuts. But the BBC never seems to mention the massive amount of waste, stupidity, greed and incompetence that permeates the whole public sector. For example, spending on the NHS more than doubled under the lying buffoon Brown. Yet we got only about 10% more nurses, doctors and other frontline staff. The rest of the money was wasted on managers and bureaucrats. Similarly, in education, policing, local councils and most other ares of government, spending almost doubled, yet the number of frontline workers only went up by about 10%.

While the BBC troops out all the ‘victims’ of cuts, it seems they would never consider inviting someone like me on their programmes who could point out where tens of billions could be saved without the loss of a single frontline job. It wouldn’t suit the BBC’s political agenda to admit that much of the money spent by the public sector (and the BBC) is wasted.

Is Oliver Letwin a liar, a fool or both?

This week, Tory MP Oliver Letwin was on TV defending his local council’s decision to spend around £10m of our money on nice new offices for council bureaucrats while cutting funding to schools, elderly care, childcare, police and so on. Buffoon Letwin claimed that splashing out £10m on building new council offices would save money. What this prat didn’t mention was that the majority of projects run by the public sector end up costing between three and ten times the original budget. The Scottish parliament – budget £40m, actual cost £413m; the 2012 olympics – budget £2.4bn, actual cost £14bn; NHS IT system – budget £2.4bn, actual cost maybe £12bn if it’s not abandoned; Leicester hospital – budget £286m, actual cost £711m; Barts hospital – budget £620m, actual cost £1,000m and so on (I could list a few hundred more similar cases).

So by not considering that his council would massively overspend their £10m, Letwin is either a liar, a fool or both. I would say both. But then the ruling elite of politicians, bureaucrats and bankers will do and say anything to keep on feathering their own nests while imposing cuts on the rest of us.

More lies from the multimillionaire olympocrats?

As the future of the 2012 Olympics stadium is being decided, various of our multimillionaire olympocrats have been speaking up to claim that we’d be breaking our promise to the utterly corrupt IOC if the stadium was turned into a football ground without a running track. Perhaps these multimillionaire olympocrats have forgotten a few other broken promises. There’s the promise to the British taxpayer that we would only have to pay about £2bn for the 2-weeks Olympics – in fact it’s going to cost us over £10bn. The multimillionaire olympocrats are quite selective about which promises they think we should keep and which can be broken.

But perhaps the whole bid was just a bunch of lies and the olympocrats knew all along that we’d be paying billions more. Perhaps all they were doing was riding a massive gravy train allowing them to fill their pockets with our money. Perhaps we’ve been taken to the cleaners by a pack of lying, greedy, self-serving parasites and as usual there’s nothing we can do about it as the ruling elite fleece us yet again and fill their bank accounts with our money.

Don’t ski with Crystal Ski!

We went skiing with Crystal Ski. After all, it looked like a proper holiday company. But arriving at the airport we found that Crystal Ski was owned by the ghastly Thomson Holidays. So what we got for our money was just another bog-awful, bog-standard Thomson Holiday. That meant filthy planes; two hours waiting in the coach in France because the guide couldn’t work out how many people should be on the bus; a chalet girl who was drunk much of the time so we didn’t get the breakfast we’d paid for; and staff who were generally rude, unhelpful and yobbish.

If you want a real skiing holiday, avoid Crystal Ski and absolutely avoid Thomson Holidays.

The French aren’t cowards and the Germans aren’t square-headed

Now that the politically-correct Thought Police have pounced on a Top Gear presenter’s joke about Mexicans, we are being forced to revisit some of our most cherished prejudices. So the French are not arrogant, unfriendly cheese-eating surrender monkeys; the Germans are not pompous, unimaginative, rule-obsessed automatons; Italians are not chaotic, overexcitable and corrupt; the Spanish are not lazy and corrupt; the Greeks are not extremely lazy and corrupt; all Pakistani cricketers are as honest as the day is long; all women have a deep understanding of the offside rule; the inscrutable Chinese are not intent on world domination by destroying all Western manufacturing industry and buying up most of the world’s commodities; our Westminster MPs never fiddle their expenses; all muslims are peace-loving and tolerant; our leaders – eurocrats, bureaucrats and local councils – never waste our money; Mark Thompson’s BBC is a paragon of good financial control; David Cameron never lies; George Osborne never lies; Ed Miliband never lies; Ed Balls is not a buffoon and a liar; Gordon Brown was a great economist; bears do not defecate in our about-to-be-privatised woods and the pope is neither a nazi nor a catholic.

Hopefully that is all clear now.

Osborne, you prat – here’s how to create jobs

As the jolly chums leading our country wonder how to save Britain from the ruin caused by Gordon Sociopath Brown, there is actually a very easy way to create tens of thousands of jobs – abolish corporation tax. Corporation tax only collects about £45bn a year, around 8% of government revenue. If it was completely abolished and replaced by witholding £45bn of the VAT companies reclaim plus putting a transaction tax on banks instead of taxing their profits, then something very important would happen. While government revenues stayed the same, hundreds of companies would move their head offices to Britain creating tens of thousands of well-paid jobs and bringing billions more into the British economy. Of course, our European competitors such as France and Germany would rant and rave about unfair tax competition, but sod them, we need a government that acts in the interests of Britain instead of letting itself be constantly buggered by our EU ‘friends’.

As a popular ad would say – it’s simples”. Zero corporation tax = tens of thousands of jobs and billions more in taxes. Only an idiot could fail to understand the extraordinary economic growth this would bring. However, we are only governed by idiots, so expect Britain to continue its easily avoidable decline.

Ed Miliband – you really are a lying pissbag

Labour’s strange leader Ed Miliband claims that the next generation will have worse lives than their parents. Well done Ed, you’ve said something that’s actually true – almost a first for a British politician. Yes, our children will grow up accumulating massive debts which will prevent them getting a decent education, having their own home and saving up for their retirement. Whereas you, Ed, will live like a millionaire for the rest of your life thanks to the enforced generosity of the British taxpayer.

Ed the Idiot blames the coalition government’s cuts for impoverishing the next generation. Sorry, Ed you lying pissbag. The reason the next generation will be facing a life of debt is because you and your hero Gordon Brown and your bulging-eyed mate Ed Balls hugely increased borrowing during a time of economic growth when you should have been paying down the national debt. Ed, you lying pissbag, how cynical are you? You must know that it was Gordon ‘buffoon’ Brown who wrecked the country with your help. How can you lie and lie and lie? Is getting the chance to pocket millions of our money for yourself really worth prostituting yourself in the way that you do, you lying pissbag?
