Goebbels would have felt at home in today’s Britain

When looking back to see which figure in the past correctly predicted how today’s Britain would look, most people probably think of George Orwell and his two groundbreaking books – “1984” and “Animal Farm”. But there’s another rather splendid chap who foresaw how British society would develop – none other than Adolf ‘One Testicle’ Hitler’s sidekick and propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels.

There are two Goebbels quotes which, I believe, encapsulate some important aspects of today’s Britain.

The first and probably best known is:

After all, here are just a few of the biggest lies we’re fed and fed and fed and fed with:

• For more than 30 years we’ve been told that CO2 is a poison which will lead to global boiling and extinction of the human race. Of course, it was always nonsense aimed at subjugating us to control by international organisations such as the UN, the WHO, the WEF, the IPCC and suchlike
• ‘Diversity is our Strength’ – another oft-repeated pile of BS. We can all see that diversity wrecks social cohesion, leads to more crime and violence and fractures a country destroying shared values and beliefs. Meanwhile, in organisations the drive towards diversity has led to the hiring of employees who are often incompetent, out of their depth and who come from some of the world’s most corrupt and backwards cultures
• The West needs immigration to compensate for a declining birthrate – I hardly need to waste your time trying to explain why mass, open-borders immigration has been a catastrophe for the West

Here’s the other one:

We can see this all the time as our rulers constantly blame their opponents for the very things they themselves are doing. We seem to be in a time where everything is the opposite of what our rulers and hordes of activists claim:

• Antifa – who actually are fascists determined to crush free speech – keep accusing people like Reform’s Nigel Farage and ordinary patriotic Brits of being fascists. And, of course, whenever a Labour politician gives a speech in front of a couple of Union Jacks, that ‘proves’ they are patriotis. Whenever a normal person displays a Union Jack, that ‘proves’ they are racists and fascists
• A few days ago, our great Leader, the (IMHO) recidivist liar lying Keir ‘Liar’ Starmer said:  “I think the political divide now is between what I call patriotic national renewal, which is what this Labour Government is doing, bringing people together – whether it’s partnership working here or across the country, finding those points of unity – or the toxic division of Reform and others on the Right.” Keir, old chap, the person tearing our country apart is you with your policies such as two-tier policing, two-tier ‘justice’, mass open-borders immigration and using your lawyer chums to put the welfare of largely uneducated, largely unemployable, often criminal, often deeply misogynist illegal migrants above the rights of taxpaying British citizens
• And then we have the climate catastrophists accusing any people daring to question their Davidian end-of-the-world cult as ‘science deniers’. The only people denying science are the climate catastrophists with their seemingly endless string of predictions which never actually happen.

I could go on. But I think you get the picture.

Apart from the fact that, due to the bravery and sacrifice of previous generations, we don’t speak German here, old Joseph Goebbels would probably have felt very much at home in today’s Britain.
