I’ve seen the future. The future is African

Friday/weekend blog

I’ll keep it short and sweet today.

Predicting the future

You will all know this famous quote:

But I think Mr Berra was wrong. I can see the future.

Here’s a UN population projection for Europe and Africa till the end of this century:

(to see the chart more clearly left-click on it, then left-click again)

The population of Europe (the lower – blue – line on the chart) is expected to decline from around 738 million today to 646 million in the next 78 years – a drop of 92 million

The population of Africa (the upper – red – line on the chart) is expected to increase from about 1.186 billion today to around 4.387 billion in the next 78 years – an increase of 3.2 billion.

Here’s a really tough question for you all – where do you think all the extra 3.2 billion Africans will go? Here are two possibilities:

  • They will all remain in their own countries where their wonderful, honest, competent, public-service-minded politicians will create the economic conditions which will guarantee these extra 3.2 billion Africans jobs, homes and a high quality of life?
  • They will flood in their tens of millions into Europe to escape their hopeless, overcrowded, corrupt, poverty-stricken, incompetently-governed, excrement-covered, backwards hell-hole African countries and will wreck Europe in the same way as the have destroyed their own countries

Tough question?

To help you decide, here are some ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures from migrant-hugging Sweden:

Sweden: Before mass, uncontrolled, open-borders immigration:

and:

Sweden: After mass, uncontrolled, open-borders immigration:

and

You ain’t seen nothing yet!

You may be more than slightly perturbed by the hundreds arriving on England’s shores every day:

But these hundreds per day are nothing compared to the tens (or even hundreds) of millions who will soon be heading to benefits Europe – all of whom will no doubt be welcomed by the progressive, woke, virtue-signalling, oikophobic, West-hating, politically-correct, brainwashed idiots produced by our failing schools and useless polytechnics pretending to be universities:

I’m not sure you’ll find many UK politicians willing to discuss how our country is going to ‘take our share’ and accommodate 10 or 20 or 30 or even 40 million mostly uneducated and mostly unemployable African migrants over the next 78 years.

Daring to mention the unmentionable?

Wednesday/Thursday blog

First, just a small observation before the main bit of the blog

Did you survive last week’s deadly storms?

This story may seem trivial. But I think it does indicate something quite important.

It’s lucky we all have short memories. After all, I wonder how may readers remember the headlines from last Wednesday (22 June) – typical were:

“UK weather: Met Office severe weather warning for thunderstorms and torrential rain”

and

“UK weather: Thunderstorm warning issued by Met Office with torrential downpours and risk of floods”

and

“The dangerous weather comes amid Britain’s worst rail strikes in 30 years”

And we were warned: “large swathes of the country could be hit by dramatic thunder, lightning and heavy downpours anytime from 11am onwards. Today’s storms are also predicted to cause flooding, with up to 60mm of rainwater falling in the space of two to three hours”.

Did it even rain last Wednesday as the Met Office predicted? I can’t remember. Were there any floods? I don’t think so. Was anybody killed in the supposedly ‘dangerous weather’. Not that I can remember. In fact, Glastonbury, which usually turns into a mud bath, was fairly dry this year.

So, what is going on? I think there are two issues here:

  1. The Greta-worshipping climate catastrophists at the Met Office are so obsessed with propagandising the supposed ‘Climate Crisis’ that they automatically assume every rainstorm will be more severe and more dangerous than anything ever experienced
  2. Some sections of the mainstream media are so desperate to push the supposed ‘Climate Crisis’ on us that they deliberately exaggerate every weather story to make it seem as if some kind of climate Armageddon is about to destroy us all

And, of course, the whole thing is nonsense.

The climate catastrophist bias of the mainstream media is becoming so obvious that it’s almost embarrassing. Over the last few weeks, you might remember horror stories of record high temperatures in India and Crapistan. These were supposedly proof of our overheating planet. But none of our media thought it worth reporting that Australia has just had its coldest start to its winter since about 1918 and this year there is so much snow that some Australian ski resorts have been unable to open:

(left-click on image and then left-click again to see the text more clearly)

Again and again and again, the only weather stories we get from the media are those which seem to support the climate catastrophist narrative and any stories which undermine it are deliberately and dishonestly suppressed.

Mentioning the unmentionable?

I have previously featured this table:

(left-click on image and then left-click again to see in glorious widescreen technicolour)

It purports to show the average IQ by country.

I have also used this chart:

If you accept the figures on the chart above, it seems to suggest that there could be a link between a region’s average IQ and its average GDP per capita.

Of course, to suggest this is obviously racist. Or is it?

Even if we assume that the Bell Curve distribution for all new-born children of every race from every part of the world is exactly the same, we also know that IQ is a result of both heredity and environment. So, even assuming that all children have the same hereditary level of IQ, that still leaves environment as a factor in the likely level of a person’s IQ.

For example, 100 children of Oxford or Cambridge academics coming from homes full of books and which set high store on the value of education are likely to develop on average higher IQs than 100 children living in mud and straw huts in an African village where they only get 2 to 3 years very basic education.

Similarly, 100 children growing up in a developed country with a high GDP per capita and thus a good education system (like Finland or Singapore) are likely to develop higher IQs that 100 Indian Dalit (‘untouchable’) children from impoverished homes excluded from proper education.

So, even if we believe that the Bell Curve for all new-borns from all races is exactly the same, we should still accept that issues like culture, material well-being and educational opportunities will inevitably affect average IQ levels.

Moreover,  descriptive data indicate that in addition to being much more likely to suffer from birth defects, the mean IQ in children of consanguineous marriages can be in the order of 2.5 to 10 IQ points lower than those of non-consanguineous marriages:

Here’s the admirable Simon Webb tiptoeing around this taboo subject:

Did you have a good pandemic?

Monday/Tuesday blog

How was your pandemic? Did you become a lot richer? Probably not.

America – From billionaires to squillionaires

As the U.S. crossed the grim milestone of 1 million deaths from Covid-19, U.S. billionaires have seen their combined wealth rise over $1.7 trillion, a gain of over 58 percent during the pandemic. While billionaires have seen their wealth surge, a million have lost their lives and millions more lost their livelihoods.

On March 18, 2020, at the beginning of the formal lockdown, U.S. billionaires held a combined $2.947 trillion. On May 4, 2022, as the U.S. crossed the 1 million death mark, according to an analysis by NBC, 727 U.S. billionaires were worth $1.71 trillion more, according to Forbes.

Elon Musk, who had wealth valued just under $25 billion on March 18, 2020, saw his wealth increase to $255 billion as of May 4, 2022.

Between March 18, 2020 and May 4, 2022, the following increases in wealth have occurred:

  • Jeff Bezos saw his wealth rise from $113 billion to $150 billion.
  • Bill Gates experienced a wealth increase from $98 billion to $129.8 billion.
  • Three members of the Walton family — Jim, Alicem and Rob — have seen their combined assets rise from $163.1 billion to $207.7 billion.

(left-click on chart, then left-click again to see more clearly)

Not only did the wealth of U.S. billionaires grow, but so did their numbers: in March 2020, there were 614 Americans with 10-figure bank accounts. Two years of pandemic later, there were at least 727, though other estimates put the number at 745.

Britain – The rich get richer

There has been a similar pattern in Britain.

Britain created a record number of billionaires during the coronavirus pandemic as wealth surged despite a year of economic turmoil for ordinary people. In 2021 there were 171 billionaires in the UK, 24 more than before the pandemic and associated lockdowns. Moreover, the combined wealth of billionaires in Britain grew by more than one-fifth.

It’s the same the whole world over

In fact, across the world, the ultra-rich seem to have had a wonderful pandemic

Fleeced again and again and again?

While the rich now have so much money they would need a supercomputer to count it all, ordinary people are being crushed by rising fuel and food prices. And anyone with savings is seeing the value of their money evaporate. Yet while forcing this destruction on us, our rulers are telling us that we all (not them) have to make sacrifices and accept a lower standard of living.

Here’s Tory MP Therese Coffey:

A few days ago, she suggested that ‘wealthy pensioners’ should hand back their next year’s pension increase of about £1,000 to HMRC if they felt they didn’t need it. Hey Ms Coffey, how about all MPs with a Bodily Mass Index (BMI) putting them in either the ‘overweight’ or ‘obese’ categories hand back 20% of their salaries to HMRC? That might help the MPs lose weight and become a lot healthier.

As the old rugby song put it:

It’s the same the whole world over

It’s the poor wot gets the blame

It’s the rich wot gets the pleasure

Ain’t it all a bleeding shame?

Although most people won’t be aware of how much richer the rich have become while the rest of us were imprisoned in our homes being increasingly impoverished, there seems to be a feeling that somehow ordinary people are being exploited and abused by our preachy rulers and their hypocritical jet-setting multimillionaire chums. Perhaps that’s why Mick Lynch of the RMT is probably more popular than any of our Westminster rulers?

Once again Neil Oliver tells it as it is

V*cc*nes higher risk than Chinese C*v*d plague?

Friday/weekend blog

First, just let me say that I hope all readers take the time to watch the Mark Steyn Show on GB News every evening from Monday to Thursday at 20.00h (Channel 236). There is nothing like it on UK TV

Here we go again

I think we should be getting used to the pattern. We saw it clearly with the claims that the WuFlu Chinese plague was caused by a leak from a filthy, corrupt, badly-run Chinese lab at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

At first, anyone suggesting this was derided as a deluded, tin-foil-hat-wearing, crazed conspiracy theorist. At the same time governments, terrified of China’s economic might and that any criticism of China might lead to their companies being excluded from the lucrative Chinese market, scientists desperate to crush any criticism of their activities and the usual lying sycophants-for-sale in the mainstream media circled the wagons and fought viciously against anyone daring to mention the lab-leak theory. Moreover, some of the world’s supposedly leading and respected scientists and scientific journals knowingly perjured themselves by claiming that the Wuhan wet-food (live animals) market was the source of the Covid outbreak while most of them knew this wasn’t true.

After all, maintaining our confidence in the authority of our political, scientific and media elites was much more important to them than discovering what caused the deaths of maybe 10 million innocents directly from the plague and another 10 million or more either because they couldn’t get hospital treatment for other conditions or due to impoverishment caused by the Covid economic catastrophe.

But slowly a few independent experts and commentators – leading among them Sharri Markson from Sky News Australia – risked their reputations and careers to discover what really happened in Wuhan. So, now we know the truth that Covid leaked from a Chinese lab.

Yet our political leaders, scientific whores-for-sale and lying media elites, still terrified of Chinese sensitivities, no longer show any interest in investigating and revealing the real source of the greatest disaster to hit mankind since World War II.

V*cc*nes – what are they good for? Nothing, absolutely nothing!

(to the tune of Edwin Star’s  “WAR”)

That brings us to the supposed ‘miracle vaccines’ against the WuFlu. At first we were told that, even though Covid might not make us ill, we needed the miracle jabs to protect granny:

However, in the last month, those great jab-promoters – Dr Faustus Fauci and Canadian PM metrosexual Justin/Justine Trudeau (both quadruple jabbed, I think) – have caught Covid yet again. But that doesn’t matter as the story had already changed to claims the jabs might not prevent us becoming infected but would reduce our risk of hospitalisation if infected.

However, now even this justification for the untested miracle jabs is (just like the Wuhan wet-market story) beginning to fall apart.

Even the lefty globalist-adoring Guardian is questioning the miracle jabs.

Not being an avid Guardian reader, I didn’t notice this Guardian article from 10 September 2021. The headline was: “Boys more at risk from Pfizer jab side-effect than Covid, suggests study”.

And the Guardian article went on to tell us:

Healthy boys may be more likely to be admitted to hospital with a rare side-effect of the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid vaccine that causes inflammation of the heart than with Covid itself, US researchers claim.

Their analysis of medical data suggests that boys aged 12 to 15, with no underlying medical conditions, are four to six times more likely to be diagnosed with vaccine-related myocarditis than ending up in hospital with Covid over a four-month period.

Most children who experienced the rare side-effect had symptoms within days of the second shot of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, though a similar side-effect is seen with the Moderna jab. About 86% of the boys affected required some hospital care, the authors said.

The evidence continues to grow

There have been several similar studies. The most recent is from 23 June 2022 and is titled: Serious Adverse Events of Special Interest Following mRNA Vaccination in Randomized Trials.

Here’s a link to the study (which has not yet been peer-reviewed)

https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=4125239

The latest study “found that the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA COVID-19 vaccines were associated with an increased risk of serious adverse events of special interest of 10.1 events per 10,000 vaccinated for Pfizer and 15.1 events per 10,000 for Moderna. When combined, the mRNA vaccines were associated with a risk increase of serious adverse events of special interest of 12.5 per 10,000 vaccinated.

The authors note that this level of increased risk post-vaccine is greater than the risk reduction for COVID-19 hospitalisation in both Pfizer and Moderna trials, which was 2.3 per 10,000 participants for Pfizer and 6.4 per 10,000 for Moderna. This means that on this measure, the Pfizer vaccine results in a net increase in serious adverse events of 7.8 per 10,000 vaccinated and the Moderna vaccine of 8.7 per 10,000 vaccinated”

Or to summarise in plain English – The excess risk of serious adverse events of special interest surpassed the risk reduction for COVID-19 hospitalization relative to the placebo group in both Pfizer and Moderna trials.

The authors used the same clinical trials data used by bodies such as the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This was, I believe, the data that Pfizer and the FDA wanted to keep hidden away from us worthless plebs for the next 75 years.

But whereas Pfizer and the FDA used the data to justify mandating the jabs, the latest study questions the methodology used by Pfizer and the FDA for pushing emergency authorisation:

You can read more about this study on Toby Young’s Daily Sceptic website:

https://dailysceptic.org/2022/06/22/covid-vaccines-more-likely-to-put-you-in-hospital-than-keep-you-out-bmj-editors-analysis-of-pfizer-and-moderna-trial-data-finds/

One thing is becoming absolutely clear – there is absolutely no medical justification for the pressure to vaccinate anyone under 20 years old in normal health against the Xi Pingpong’s lab-leaked plague. And it’s even questionable whether anyone in normal health under say 50 years old should be vaccinated. As for the latest decision to vaccinate babies/children from 6 months to 5 years old – that’s a political decision to cover up the fact that for most people the miracle vaccines are probably doing more harm than good.

The next big lie to fall?

In just a couple of years, two of the greatest falsehoods ever forced on us by our self-serving, self-enriching, power-hungry political, scientific and media globalist elites, have been slowly and surely dismantled by the diligence and perseverance of a few mavericks who weren’t taken in by our rulers’ lies.

Will the greatest lie of them all – the ludicrous doomsday cult of man-made global warming or climate change or climate emergency or climate crisis or climate breakdown or whatever it’s called this week – be the next domino to fall?

I’ve done what I can with my book THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS (for which I only get £0.50 for every copy sold):

Let’s hope smarter people than I continue the battle against what is possibly the most destructive lie of them all.

The calming wisdom of Thomas Sowell

Wednesday/Thursday blog

I hope readers managed to watch the Mark Steyn Show on GB News yesterday evening (Tuesday 21 June) at 20.00h – brilliant as usual. It’s available on YouTube if you missed it.

First a little quiz for you

Here’s a photo of Manhattan:

Manhattan is the most densely populated of New York City’s 5 boroughs. It’s mostly made up of Manhattan Island, bounded by the Hudson, East and Harlem rivers.

If you were told by the bleating climate catastrophists and Extinction Rebellion idiots and the BBC and C4 News and the rest of the mainstream media that the sea level was rising around Manhattan due to Global Warming or Climate Change or Climate Emergency or Climate Crisis or Climate Breakdown or whatever it’s called this week, would you:

  1. believe the climate catastrophist nonsense?
  2. wonder whether the weight of all the buildings might be causing the land to slowly sink by maybe a few millimetres or more every decade?

And here’s a photo of Florida’s Palm Beach:

You’ll see a lot of high-rise buildings built on what is essentially a sandbank.

If you were told by the bleating climate catastrophists and Extinction Rebellion idiots and the BBC and C4 News and the rest of the mainstream media that the sea level was rising around Florida’s Palm Beach due to Global Warming or Climate Change or Climate Emergency or Climate Crisis or Climate Breakdown or whatever it’s called this week, would you:

  1. believe the climate catastrophist nonsense?
  2. wonder whether the weight of all the buildings might be causing the land to slowly sink by maybe a few millimetres or more every decade?

As anyone with even the most basic knowledge of geography would know, in a process called ‘subsidence’, land settles and compacts based on changes to materials below the earth’s surface. This subsidence has caused land in many major cities to sink by several millimeters per year. Much of this is brought about by human activity such as increased construction of ever larger/higher and thus heavier buildings and groundwater pumping. As the weight of the buildings increases and as water beneath cities flows out, the land compacts and the structures built on top fall closer to sea level. At least 33 cities are falling by more than one centimeter per year due to compaction of sediment and aquifer systems.

But the howling Warmists don’t ever mention this phenomenon – cities sinking under their own weight – when screaming about how supposedly ‘rising sea levels’ will swamp some major cities causing flooding and possibly making some uninhabitable.

The wisdom of Thomas Sowell

Here’s a short (4+ minutes) video of Thomas Sowell discussing the politicisation of science.

I think there might be an error with the video because, after the first 4 minutes 34 seconds of Thomas Sowell speaking, there are two apparently unconnected (as far as I can see) sections. But the first 4 minutes 34 seconds of Thomas Sowell’s presentation are (IMHO) well worth watching:

Healthcare or authoritarian control?

Monday/Tuesday blog

I thought I was joking

In my weekend blog, I proposed that the reason the Met Office started naming storms in 2014 was largely due to the establishment’s propaganda campaign to terrify us about the worsening supposed ‘climate catastrophe’ to ensure our cowering obedience to whatever restrictions the elites decide to impose on our lives. I then suggested slightly facetiously “Perhaps the worthless net-zero-obsessed Met Office will soon start naming heat-waves so they and the idiots in the mainstream media can start claiming something like we’ve had more ‘fatal’ heat-waves in the last few years than in the last 100 years?

Well, I didn’t have to wait long to find out that my sarcastic comment was likely to become reality. The day after I wrote my blog, in the Sunday Times on page 15 was an article titled “Why we need to name hot spells”. In the article we were told that the Met Office was considering naming heatwaves because heatwaves “kill many more people each year than storms”.

This statement is certainly true as fewer than 20 people a year are killed by storms in the UK. In 2021 Storm Eunice, for example, killed a ‘massive’ three people. We know that there is a very slight increase in deaths during heatwaves:

(left-click on chart, then left-click again to see more clearly)

The Sunday Times article tells us: “roughly 1,000 to 3,000 people die every year as a result of heat”. But looking at the Office for National Statistics chart above (where heatwaves are marked by the shaded columns), one might conclude that the ‘journalist’ is exaggerating more than slightly and that the real ‘death-by-heat’ is only around maybe 100 people per heatwave. It’s certainly nowhere near the “roughly 1,000 to 3,000 people” the hyperventilating ‘journalist’ claims.

However, while the excess deaths from heat in the UK are obviously greater than deaths from storms, the number is small in comparison to the excess deaths from respiratory diseases caused by cold because our high energy prices (due mainly to subsidies for useless, expensive, unreliable, supposed ‘renewable energy’) mean many older people cannot afford to heat their homes properly:

(left-click on chart, then left-click again to see more clearly)

In the Sunday Times article some expert from that well-respected academic institution Reading Poly (sorry, I mean “the world-famous University of Reading”) was quoted as saying: “People just don’t realise that heatwaves are very dangerous. We should be doing anything we can to raise awareness in the same way as we do for storms”. And, of course, another ‘expert’ bleated the usual: “with climate change we’re going to expect more fatalities for heatwaves and we’re not prepared for them”.

And here’s a nice picture from the 1934 heatwave (when atmospheric CO2 levels were much lower than they are today) which dried up many UK reservoirs and killed a few people (I haven’t been able to find the number of deaths):

Vaccinate – vaccinate – vaccinate

Some older readers might have happy memories of the Daleks:

Well, it seems that the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have been taking lessons from the Daleks with the CDC’s obsession with vaccinate – vaccinate – vaccinate! Last week the CDC recommended children aged from 6 months to 5 years get vaccinated against the Chinese lab-leaked plague. ‘We know millions of parents and caregivers are eager to get their young children vaccinated, and with today’s decision, they can,’ says CDC Director Dr Rochelle Walensky.

Really, Dr Walensky? Are parents really “eager to get their young children vaccinated” as you claim?

We know that Covid has an almost negligible fatality level in people under 50 years old:

In fact, serious illness and deaths from Covid in children is so low that there haven’t been sufficient cases for these to be reliably measured.

Moreover, the trials carried out by Pfizer didn’t include sufficient numbers of children to conclude whether vaccination or catching Covid would be more dangerous to young children.

However, there is a massive amount of information emerging about the side-effects of the untested experimental vaccines – increase in Sudden Adult Death Syndrome, neurological conditions, auto-immune problems (monkey-pox) and heart muscle inflammations (myocarditis and pericarditis).

It is my understanding that the main argument for the CDC’s recommendation was to “ensure consistency”. What is meant by that was – if the CDC recommended young children (6 months to 5 years old) shouldn’t be vaccinated against Covid, then people might start wondering about the effectiveness and safety of the vaccines. Then they might begin to question whether children aged between 5 years and 10 years old should be vaccinated. Then the doubts could extend to those aged between say 10 and 20 years old and so and so forth. It’s more than possible that the CDC has painted itself into a corner. Having come out so strongly in favour of vaccination for young adults, the CDC has been trapped into recommending vaccination for ever younger age groups more for reasons of maintaining its credibility and social control than for any medical rationale.

Oh, and it might be worth mentioning the huge amounts of money flowing from the Big Pharma companies to US government supposed ‘scientists’. Senator Rand Paul has just revealed that in the period 2010 to 2017, 27,000 royalty payments were made to 1,800 US National Institutes of Health employees totalling $190m. We don’t know the figures since 2017, we don’t know which companies paid these royalties and we don’t know the names and specialities of the ‘scientists’ who received these royalties. But I’m sure that none of us would be so cynical as to suspect that the mad rush to vaccinate everyone in the US over 6 months old would have anything to do with the fact that the largely ineffective Covid vaccines – when even the great Dr Fauci has just caught Covid despite having (I believe) four Covid jabs –  will be the most profitable medical treatments in human history.

Energy rich Australia first with power rationing?

weekend blog

Did you survive the ‘catastrophic’ heat-wave?

On Thursday we were graced with knee-trembling warnings from such august bodies as the Met Office, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and, of course, the mainstream media such as the BBC, ITV News and C4 News about the trillions who could die due to the life-threatening heat-wave about to hit the UK yesterday (Friday) – a heat-wave that only affected the south of the country and which only lasted for just one day!

Though we have to accept that the temperature did manage to reach 18 degrees in Aberdeen and I guess that counts as a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ sweltering heat-wave for the downtrodden citizens of Chairperson Sturgeon’s Glorious Democratic People’s Republic of Scrotland twinned with North Korea.

At the time of writing, I don’t know how many (if any) actually died in Friday’s supposedly ‘life-threatening’ heat-wave. Probably a couple of useless drunks did leave us possibly by diving into shallow water while pi*ssed out of their minds. But that’s just Darwinism – improving the human gene pool.

However, around 10,000 people in the UK die prematurely each winter because they can’t afford to heat their homes because possibly as much as a third of their energy costs are due to massive subsidies paid for useless, expensive and unreliable supposed ‘renewable energy’.

Yet as each winter approaches and another 10,000 are expected to die from the cold, there are no reports from the UKHSA and mainstream media of the fact that, if subsidies for useless, unreliable supposedly ‘renewable energy’ were scrapped and energy prices fell, perhaps 2,000 to 3,000 or more lives could be saved.

Meanwhile, while our mainstream media bleats about the high temperatures in India last week and parts of Europe this week, there is no mention of the record cold spells in Peru this week (coldest for 11 years) and parts of Australia (coldest for 114 years). It seems that when it’s either hot or dry or flooding, the media orgasms that this is proof of catastrophic Global Warming (when it’s hot or dry) or catastrophic Climate Change (when it’s a bit wetter than usual). But when somewhere is a bit colder than average, the media and climate-change gravy-train-riding ‘experts’ are curiously silent.

The UK’s Met Office decided to start giving storms names back in 2014, in the same way they do in America. The first windstorm to be named was Abigail on 10 November 2015. By naming storms, our climate-catastrophist elites and hyperventilating journalists can make ludicrous claims such as the UK has had more serious (named) storms in the last 10 years than in the last 100 years. Perhaps the worthless net-zero-obsessed Met Office will soon start naming heat-waves so they and the idiots in the mainstream media can start claiming something like we’ve had more ‘fatal’ heat-waves in the last few years than in the last 100 years?

Energy rationing in Australia?

It’s the start of winter Down Under. And it’s been the coldest start to winter there since 1908:

The good news is that Australian ski resorts are having a bonzer season:

But there’s a small problem. Australia’s exports of energy resources like coal, gas and uranium to sensible countries that want to provide electricity for their industries and homes, have never been higher:

(left-click on image, then left-click again to see in glorious, widescreen technicolour)

But crazy Greeny policies mean that Australia can’t provide enough electricity for its own people. Rationing – turning off supply to some areas – hasn’t started yet. But the Australian authorities are begging people to limit their electricity use at certain times of the day.

Here’s the wonderful but seemingly exasperated Andrew Bolt from Sky News Australia explaining the latest stupidities from our eco-crazed rulers:

Go green? Starve the already starving and wreck the planet!

Thursday/Friday blog

Biofuels – a crime against humanity

When the EU passed regulations mandating that biofuels should make up 2.7% of all transport fuel sold, the UN’s special rapporteur on food called this policy “a crime against humanity”. The Biofuel Directive set indicative biofuel penetration targets of 2.7% by the end of 2005 and 5.75% by the end of 2010. This year biofuel content was increased to 10% – that’s the E10 petrol you’ll see on your forecourts.

It would seem that the Biofuel Directive has been one of the major contributors to a seemingly unstoppable rise in world food prices:

And this week, just to make matters even worse, the bumbling senile old fool in the White House, President Joe Biden, flew into Iowa to crow about mandating increased production of corn-based ethanol and E15 (motor fuel with a 15 percent ethanol content instead of the usual 10 percent). This will mean around 40% of Iowa’s corn production being used to inefficiently fuel cars rather than feed people.

Rising food prices may be unpleasant for us in the rich developed world. But they mean starvation for the estimated 821 million people do not have enough of the food they need to live an active, healthy life.

Still, Biden’s biofuel policies will allow him to grovel to the Democrat lefty, libtard eco-idiots and scientifically-challenged mainstream media by supposedly acting to fight the (non-existent) threat of global warming or climate change or climate emergency or climate crisis or climate disaster or whatever it’s called this week. And greeny eco-zealots and the mainstream media couldn’t give a fig for the hundreds of millions being starved by their narcissistic, virtue-signalling climate-catastrophist nonsense.

Let’s wreck the planet

In my book – THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS – I tried to reveal the massive amounts of land and materials required to supply supposed ‘renewable energy’. This week, I found some calculations (in blue italics below) exposing the true environmental effects in terms of the huge amounts of materials used and the highly unpleasant and polluting chemical processes necessary to produce what the climate catastrophists class as ‘clean, green energy’.

I don’t know if these figures are correct. But, if they are anywhere near reality, then they show that ‘clean green energy’ is anything but.

Those who are excited about electric cars and a green revolution should take a closer look at electric vehicle (EV) batteries, and also wind turbines and solar panels.

A typical EV battery weighs a thousand pounds, roughly the size of a suitcase. It contains 25 pounds of lithium, sixty pounds of nickel, 44 pounds of manganese, 30 pounds of cobalt, 200 pounds of copper and 400 pounds of aluminum, steel and plastic. There are over 6,000 individual lithium ion cells inside.

To make each EV battery, you’ll need to process 25,000 pounds of salt for lithium, 30,000 pounds of ore for cobalt, 5,000 pounds of resin for nickel, and 25,000 pounds of ore from copper. In total, you have to dig out 500,000 pounds of dirt for a battery.

The biggest problem with solar systems is the chemicals used to turn silicate into the gravel used for the panels. To produce sufficient clean silicon, it must be treated with hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, fluoride, trichlorotane and acetone.

In addition, gallium, arsenide, copper-indium-gallium diselenide and cadmium telluride are needed, which are also highly toxic. Silicone dust poses a danger to the workers and the tiles cannot be recycled.

Wind turbines are the real winners in terms of cost and environmental destruction. Each windmill weighs 1,688 tonnes (the equivalent of the weight of 23 houses) and contains 1,300 tonnes of concrete, 295 tonnes of steel, 48 tonnes of iron, 24 tonnes of fiberglass and the hard-to-win rare soils Neodym, Praseodym and Dysprosium. Each of the three blades weighs 81,000 pounds and has a lifespan of 15 to 20 years, after which they must be replaced. We cannot recycle used rotor blades – they have to be buried.

So, anyone claiming that ‘going green’ is clean and good for our planet is either a fool or a knave or (most likely) both.

Health scares – are they related?

Tuesday/Wednesday blog

I almost cried when I heard the news

Viewers of GB News’s Mark Steyn Show would have been devastated to learn that some 28-year-old Canadian singer called Justin Bieber has had to cancel a few shows due to contracting something called Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. Ramsay Hunt syndrome is a painful rash around the ear, on the face, or on the mouth. It occurs when the varicella-zoster virus infects a nerve in the head and can result in partial paralysis of some face muscles:

Strangely, this brings us to the monkeypox outbreak

Monkey pox – why now?

Some people might find it curious how in the space of 50 years, monkeypox has hardly ever appeared apart from in a couple of countries in Africa. But then within two years of the emergence of the lab-leaked Covid-19, monkeypox is suddenly in every Western nation and being hyped up by public health authorities, the mainstream media and the China-controlled World Health Organization.

One explanation we have been given by the experts is that smallpox vaccinations were stopped after the 33rd World Health Assembly declared the world free of this disease on May 8, 1980. This means, claim the experts, that younger people may be liable to catch infections similar to smallpox as they haven’t had smallpox vaccinations.

But this doesn’t answer the questions:

  • why has monkeypox appeared in many western counties now rather than say 3 years ago or 5 years ago or even 10 years ago?
  • why did monkeypox emerge in the West now rather than in 3 or 5 or 10 years?

So we have to ask what has changed in the last couple of years which could explain the monkeypox outbreak.

Vlad ‘The Impaler’ Putin invaded Ukraine. No, that’s probably not the reason.

Boris Johnson seems to have lied to everyone about everything. No, not that either.

So the answer must have something to do with the Covid-19 lab-leaked plague and the untested vaccines, especially the experimental mRNA vaccines.

Dormant, not dead?

From what little I understand chicken pox, monkeypox and the Ramsay Hunt Syndrome are all forms of  the varicella-zoster virus, and just like its close relative the herpes simplex virus, it becomes a lifelong resident in the body.

Varicella may be silent for many years, hiding out inside nerve cells and can reactivate later, wreaking havoc in the form of excruciating skin disorders. The incidence of herpes-like reactions to the experimental Pfizer vaccine was identified in Pfizer’s own follow-up of adverse reactions – the document Pfizer wanted to keep sealed for 75 years.

According to the adverse reactions follow-up by the end of February 2021, just 2 months after the Pfizer vaccine was granted emergency use authorisation in both the USA and UK, Pfizer received 8,152 reports relating to herpes infection, and 18 of these had already led to multiple organ dysfunction syndrome:

Multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) is a systemic, dysfunctional inflammatory response that requires long intensive care unit (ICU) stay. It is characterized with a high mortality rate depending on the number of organs involved. It can be caused by herpes infection.

Below is a link to a fairly long article about the possible link between monkeypox and the Pfizer mRNA vaccines. This article tends perhaps to see a conspiracy where the reality may be much more mundane. Though, given that the UK seems to have the highest concentration of monkeypox cases, it could be that the AstraZeneca vaccine is causing even more cases than the mRNA vaccines:

What seems to be happening is that in a small minority of people, the multiple shots of the vaccines are either weakening the body’s immune system allowing the varicella-zoster virus to re-emerge or else the vaccines are in some way reactivating the varicella-zoster virus.

Anyway, not to worry. Should you get monkeypox or something similar caused by the Covid-19 vaccines, fortunately our Big Pharma companies have a vaccine for that too. And if that vaccine gives you some other unpleasant side effects, no doubt there will soon be another vaccine for those. Soon we’ll all end up like pin cushions if this continues.

Here’s the article which does give some useful, though sometimes slightly misleading charts.

Who is Klaus Schwab?

Monday blog

I don’t have a story today. But I found this shortish (10 minutes) video quite interesting. It explains the background of James Bond-ish villain Klaus Schwab and his World Economic Forum:

When watching this, we should probably remember one of Adam Smith’s most famous quotes:

And here’s everything you ever needed to know about our friend Klaus Schwab and Spectre (sorry, I meant “World Economic Forum”)
