We’re now all familiar with such delightful Covid-19-related words such as “comorbidities” and charming expressions such as “social distancing”. But today I’d like to add to the new Covid-19 lexicon by copying a comment made by a Times reader on the Times website.
Most comments on the Times website are made by people I call ‘keyboard cowards’ – pathetic individuals, typically ‘monday-morning quarterbacks’, who know little to nothing about anything but spend their time bitching and moaning to demonstrate their supposedly superior intelligence but yet who are too spineless and cowardly to use their own names when commenting.
However this comment below quotes someone who actually seems to know what they’re talking about.
The comment deals with something called ‘viral load‘. I found it interesting because it does go some way to explaining why so many otherwise healthy, youngish healthcare professionals have become critically ill and/or died from the Wuhan Chinese plague.
The difference between the Wuhan Chinese plague and, for example, being pregnant is that you either are or you aren’t pregnant irrespective of how many sperm manage to complete their epic journey. However, with the Wuhan Chinese plague, one of the determinants of how ill you may become could be your level of exposure. So, unlike pregnancy, there may be different levels of catching the Wuhan Chinese plague. The comment seems to suggest that if you are exposed to just a few virus thingies, your body can fight against the infection and you’ll just experience mild symptoms. But if you’re, for example, a medical professional and are repeatedly exposed to a large amount of the Chinese plague virus, then you’re more likely to suffer serious illness.
Obviously I don’t have the competence or knowledge to know how accurate the quoted passage is. You must judge for yourselves:

Why do we need to shut places where people group? Remember this: VIRAL LOAD There will be a lot about this. Why is it important? With this virus, the amount of virus in your blood at first infection directly relates to the severity of the illness you will suffer.
This isn’t unusual – HIV management is all about reducing viral load to keep people alive longer. BUT it’s very important in COVID-19. So if you are in, say, a pub or religious building or entertainment venue with 200 people and a large number don’t have symptoms but are shedding, you are breathing in lots of droplets per minute and absorbing a high load of the virus. Fortunately but unfortunately because the elderly are isolating quite well, the initial UK data suggests that all age groups above 20 are almost equally represented in ITUs in England. Most of the cases are in London but the wave is moving outwards.
This means that being under 60 and fit and well doesn’t seem to be as protective as we thought. Why? Viral load. This may be skewed simply by the fact that too many Londoners didn’t do as asked and congregated in large groups in confined spaces and got a large initial viral load. They then went home and infected their wider families. Which is why, as London is overwhelmed, we need to shut everything down to save the rest of the UK.
We are a week at most behind London. Our sympathies go out to the families affected in London and the critical care teams battling right now to save as many as they can.
If I sit with one person and catch this virus, I get a small viral load. My immune system will start to fight it and by the time the virus starts replicating, I’m ready to kill it. No medicines will help this process meaningfully hence there is no “cure” for this virus. All we can do is support you with a ventilator and hope your immune system can catch up fast enough. If I sit in the same room with six people, all shedding I get six times the initial dose. The rise in viral load is faster than my immune system can cope with and it is overrun. I then become critically ill and need me (or someone of my specialty) to fix it instead of just being at home and being ok in the end.
THIS BIT IS IMPORTANT: If you are a large family group, remember that by being ill and in the same room, you will make each other ill or “more ill”. If you get sick, isolate just yourself to one room and stay there. Don’t all sit in one room coughing. You will increase the viral load for all of you, reducing your survival rate. A family of six people may produce double the droplets of a family of three in the same space. Maths is important. If one of you is symptomatic, assume you are all shedding and make sure you keep some space. Parents are getting it from their kids because no one is going to stop comforting their child (nor should they) so the parent gets a big hit as well as the child. I don’t think that can be helped.
At the beginning of February, the (IMHO) woke, libtard, moronic, virtue-signalling mayor of Florence, Dario Nardella, suggested residents hug Chinese people to encourage them in the fight against the novel coronavirus.
Meanwhile, a member of Associazione Unione Giovani Italo Cinesi, a Chinese society in Italy aimed at promoting friendship between people in the two countries, called for respect for novel coronavirus patients during a street demonstration. “I’m not a virus. I’m a human. Eradicate the prejudice.” As could be expected, loads of woke, progressive, anti-racist idiots all rushed out and selfied themselves hugging a Chinese tourist so they could post the pictures on their social media accounts to show how unbelievably woke and tolerant they were.
Since that wonderful demonstration of libtard woke, virtue-signalling, Chinese tourists and Chinese migrant workers have brought the Chinese plague to Italy and more than 6,000 Italians have died from the Chinese plague that Chinese tourists and Chinese migrant workers brought from dirty, corrupt, disease-ridden China to Italy. And now in Italy crematoria are working 24 hours a day to try to dispose of the thousands of dead bodies.
I wonder if the woke, virtue-signalling idiots who told us to ‘hug a Chinese person’ would like to apologise to the families of the 6,000+ dead?

Water load of rubbish from the BBC
Most Saturdays I listen to Radio 4’s MoneyBox presented by Paul Lewis. Often I switch the radio on a bit early and so catch a few of the stories from the ultra-woke Kate Adie’s From Our Own Correspondent. On Saturday 7 March 2020 one of the items on Kate Adie’s programme was from a BBC journalist who was reporting about the supposedly devastating effects of supposed rising sea levels due to supposed Climate Change on the Solomon Islands.
Apparently, supposed rising sea levels are making many Solomon Island properties uninhabitable, destroying agricultural land and wrecking thousands of Solomon Islanders’ lives. As the BBC journalist listed all these supposedly disastrous results of supposed Climate Change he warned“The seas around the Solomon Islands are rising more than 10mm a year – three times the global average”.
Just in case there are some woke, Greta-worshipping, snowflake libtards reading this who don’t understand how stupid that statement is, here’s a very complicated scientific experiment I have designed specially for you:
A scientific experiment for BBC Greta-worshippers
Step 1: Take a bucket
Step 2: Pour a bit of water into the bucket. It doesn’t have to be very much – just enough to cover the bottom of the bucket will do
Step 3: Take a cup and put a bit of water in the cup
Step 4: Slowly pour the water from the cup into one side of the bucket
Now observe very closely what happens. There are two possibilities:
A. the water from the cup piles up at the edge of the bucket where you poured it, which would prove sea levels can rise more in one place than in another
B. the water from the cup spreads out evenly in the bucket, which suggests sea levels cannot rise more in one place than in another because water is a liquid
Anyone who believes that the result of my complex scientific experiment is “A” is either a brainwashed, Greta-worshipping idiot, a BBC journalist or a total moron or more likely all three.
Hopefully most of my readers know that the result of the experiment must always be “B”.

Had the broadcast from the Solomon Islands been live, one might forgive the ultra-woke, Greta-worshipping BBC correspondent for getting a bit carried away with his awfully important assignment and ‘mis-speaking’ by accident. But all the items on From Our Own Correspsondent are (as far as I understand) pre-recorded and put together by either Kate Adie or Kate Adie and an editor. Did neither Adie nor the editor realise what a complete pile of crap the statement: “The seas around the Solomon Islands are rising more than 10mm a year – three times the global average” was?
Has the BBC never heard of ‘Tectonic Plates’?
Of course, what might be happening is that movement of Tectonic Plates may be pushing up some countries and continents and pushing down others:
And this would result in measuring gauges in different parts of the world giving different readings of sea level changes.
But my message to Kate Adie and all the other (IMHO) woke, Greta-worshipping, scientifically-illiterate BBC correspondents is – try my experiment and see for yourself if water really can rise more in one place than another.
My complaint to the BBC
I have made a formal complaint to the BBC about the ludicrous claim“The seas around the Solomon Islands are rising more than 10mm a year – three times the global average” and I’ve asked the BBC to issue an apology and a correction.
But all I got was a standard “F*ck off we’re busy” automated reply.
Or perhaps the BBC really is investigating my complaint and is actively trying to find a ‘climate scientist’ who will confirm that the sea level really can rise three times faster in one place than in another? If so, a great place they could go to would be the (IMHO) data-fiddling, Global Warming gravy-train-riding shameless fraudsters at the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit.

It details a conspiracy theory about where the Coronavirus/Covid-19 really originated.
In summary:

While the Coronavirus (which was accidentally leaked either from Dr Peng Zhou’s L-4 laboratory at the Wuhan Institute of Virology or its offshoot Wuhan National Biosafety Laboratory, one of China’s most high-tech installations designed for biological research into the most deadly forms of viruses known to humankind) continues to occupy the headlines, another deadly virus – the Gretavirus – appears (thankfully) to have disappeared from the front pages for the moment.

Last Thursday, I wrote a blog about how corrupt, lying, disease-ridden China is our enemy. In the blog I gave two examples of how the corrupt, lying, disease-ridden Chinese could blackmail the West and bring our economies crashing down. The two examples were China’s control of most of the planet’s rare-earth metals and the fact that most of the antibiotics used in the West now come from China. But there are hundreds of other examples I could have given.
Well, I have to apologise. I thought I was writing about a possible future scenario. In fact, Chinese blackmail has already begun.
The Chinese blackmail
An article in China’s state-run Xinhua news service last week threatened to impose restrictions on medical exports so the United States will be “plunged into the mighty sea of coronavirus.”
The Xinhua piece, published on March 4 and entitled “Be Bold: The World Owes China a Thank You,” was largely composed of standard Chinese Communist Party propaganda about how the world stands in awe of China’s amazing response to the coronavirus outbreak.
The Xinhua article made a point of noting that China has leverage over the U.S. and Europe because it can restrict the supply of medicines that were unwisely outsourced to China in the heyday of globalism.
The Chinese paper explicitly threatened to do so if Americans and Europeans continue criticizing its response to the coronavirus or act too slowly to lift travel bans and other restrictions the Chinese government dislikes, but then cushioned the threat in the Communist Party’s usual creepy way by insisting China is filled with so much “love” for the world that it would never harm the people of other countries, or even “insult” them the way China has been “insulted” during the coronavirus epidemic:
A Chinese blackmailer?
Naturally, the article neglected to mention how the virus ran wild in the first place because of Chinese censorship, corruption, bureaucratic incompetence and cover-ups.
Will the West fight back?
Two prominent US politicians – Marco Rubio and Newt Gingrich – wrote an article highlighting America’s and the West’s vulnerability to Chinese blackmail:
For years, China has enticed American multinational corporations with access to its markets in exchange for off-shoring and sharing intellectual property. Americans watched as Beijing captured critical portions of global supply chains, including in pharmaceutical drugs and medical equipment. Today, up to 80 percent of the active pharmaceutical ingredients in American drugs are sourced abroad.
Now, in the face of a pandemic, the absence of domestic capacity in critical medical sectors has critically endangered both the U.S. public health system and our economy. The inability to quickly increase the production of key supplies, such as surgical masks, medical gowns, respirators and pharmaceutical drugs limits our ability to mitigate the worst effects of the disease in this emerging crisis and in any future pandemic.
It is unacceptable that China holds this much leverage over America’s public health and economy, both essential components of our national security. For this reason, we propose that the U.S. take action to expand our production capacity while global supply chains are in flux and the global economy teeters on the edge of recession.
Maybe, when this made in corrupt, dirty, disease-ridden China disaster is over, Western governments and companies will realise that they are powerless in the face of Chinese blackmail and start on-shoring production of vital supplies so the dirty, corrupt, lying, disease-ridden Chinese can never blackmail us again?

You might remember that last week Turkey’s magnificent president popped over to Brussels to give EU leaders a friendly ultimatum. Either they give Turkey loads more EU-taxpayers’ money or else the Turks would unleash a tsunami of migrants into Europe:
But things seem to have gone a bit quiet about the results of the Ottoman emperor’s meeting with EU bosses. As far as I know, both the BBC and C4 News felt there was nothing newsworthy to report.
Well, here’s what really happened. The European Commission is currently preparing to hand over an additional 500 million euros in supposed “aid” to Ankara to help with so-called “Syrian refugees” to ease growing tensions with the increasingly belligerent and some might say “unhinged” Turkish regime.
Apparently, the €500m will ‘complement’ the 6 billion euros that already has been planned to be disbursed to the Turkish regime under the 2016 EU-Turkey agreement. The money will supposedly be used to finance programmes implemented by NGOs to aid the 3.6 million migrants currently being housed in Turkey…..
I wonder whose bank account the €6bn went into? And I wonder whose bank account the latest €500m will go into?
They’re about as Syrian as my left buttock
As more and more reports come out, however, it has become increasingly clear that very few of the gimmegrants and rapemigrants who are attempting to cross into Greece from Turkey are actually Syrian.
Less than two weeks ago, CNN Greece reported on 252 persons who were arrested trying to illegally cross into Greece from Turkey. Of those who were arrested, 64 percent were Afghani, 19 percent were Pakistani, 5 percent were Turkish, 4 percent were Syrian, 2.6 percent were Somalian, and those from Iraq, Iran, Morocco, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, and Egypt comprised 5.4 percent of the arrestees:

Our mainstream media is having delighted orgasms over the great Joe Biden becoming the Democrat Party’s candidate who will supposedly beat the hated (by our mainstream media) Donald Trump. But there’s never any mention in any of our mainstream media that the 77-year-old Biden is clearly increasingly senile.

A couple of highlights from the video are when old Joe claims “150 million Americans have been killed in gun crimes since 2007” and that his policies will put “750 million American women back into work”. Given that the total population of the USA is only about 328 million, those are some pretty impressive numbers crazy old Joe. It’s odd that none of the British Trump-loathing mainstream media seem to have noticed that crazy old man Joe is obviously increasingly unhinged.
It will be fun to see if Biden’s handlers and a sycophantic, Trump-loathing mainstream media can protect Biden from his own disjointed rambling, forgetfulness and gaffes long enough to fool Americans into voting for him.
Let me start with some figures I found shocking – somewhere between 80% and 95% of all antibiotics (different sources give different figures) used in the USA are manufactured in China.
Let’s think of the implications of this: were China and the USA to get into a spat about trade or China’s territorial expansion ambitions or China threatening American allies like Taiwan or Japan, the Chinese government could just claim that there had been problems in a few antibiotic manufacturing plants and reduce or even cut off all exports of antibiotics to the USA. How many Americans would die from lack of effective antibiotics? Thousands? Tens of thousands?
I don’t know. But merely the prospect of this should make USA politicians review their dependence on their enemy – China.
The rare earth metals threat
Or let’s take another essential of modern industrial society – rare earth metals. From what little I understand, these are essential for things like phones, computers, electric cars and many other products. In addition to the electronics sector, the U.S. defense industry relies heavily on rare earth elements. Industries that rely on permanent magnets are particularly vulnerable to disruptions in the supply chain. For example, the batteries in electric vehicles rely on neodymium and praseodymium. These magnets are also necessary in key parts of the U.S. security industry, including missile-guidance systems and drone technology. There are no quick or easy alternatives
Industry figures suggest that China controls over 95% of rare earth metal production:
This chart only goes up to the year 2000. The latest figures for 2018 were that China was producing around 120,000 metric tons a year – six times as much as the second largest producer, Australia:

United States. Mine production: 15,000 MT. …
Myanmar. Mine production: 5,000 MT. …
Russia. Mine production: 2,600 MT.
In 2010, China cut off rare earth exports to Japan in the midst of a territorial dispute. The Japanese state and private sectors quickly understood their vulnerability to Chinese blackmail and aggressively moved to lessen their dependence on China. But the United States did not. A key takeaway is that the uncertainty of 2010 fundamentally changed Japanese but not American behaviour. Japan’s state and private sectors collaborated to diversify the rare earth supply through industrial policy, diplomatic efforts, and the efforts of private enterprise.
And when a US company did open a rare earth metals mine (in Montana I think), the Chinese just dropped the price for a while and bankrupted the US business.
The global supply chain threat
Across the world, China is buying up mines, ports, agricultural land and much much more as part of China’s efforts to dominate and control world trade.
Fortunately, the Australian Government prevented a Chinese company connected with the Chinese Government from buying up large quantities of agricultural land and, if I remember correctly, the US Government prevented a Chinese company connected to the Chinese Government from buying some US ports. Meanwhile, the US and Australia have blocked Huawei from building their 5G networks. But these few setbacks haven’t slowed China’s increasing dominance of the world’s economy.
Our rulers tell us how wonderful globalisation is. And we accept that because we can get cheap stuff made in China. But we have made ourselves vulnerable as much of Western industry would collapse if the Chinese Government cut off exports that we rely on.
Does China already own Britain?

Why do so few people understand the Chinese threat?
If our governments had any balls, they’d immediately impose tariffs of say 50% on all imports from China until China reimburses every country for the economic damage done by the virus that leaked from Wuhan’s Institute of Virology L-4 lab because some worker there didn’t follow the correct decontamination procedures.

This research facility, with top level-4 containment capacities, emerged from the expansion and elaboration of an older agency known as the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And here, just to remind you, is the Wuhan Institute of Virology Dr Peng Zhou’s description of his work:
“Taking bats as the research object, I will answer the molecular mechanism that can coexist with Ebola and SARS- associated coronavirus for a long time without causing disease, and its relationship with flight and longevity.
From the little I understand, this means that Dr Peng Zhou’s team are taking bioengineered versions of Ebola, SARS and Coronavirus and testing these on bats to understand how bats’ immune systems allow them to carry these diseases without becoming ill themselves.
Given that there are hundreds of ‘wet markets’ across China, it seems an extraordinary coincidence that the Covid-19 outbreak originated in a ‘wet market’ in a city that also happened to contain the National Biosafety Laboratory and the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Applying the principles of Occam’s Razor, it seems to be blindingly obvious that the Covid-19 virus was accidentally leaked from a Chinese government lab when a worker became infected from bats’ blood, urine or faeces and then failed to follow the correct WHO Level-4 lab decontamination procedures.
Governments’ deafening silence?
Given the strong possibility that the Covid-19 outbreak actually came from a Chinese government research lab, it seems extraordinary that no government has even tried to highlight this. Instead, all the world’s governments have faithfully parrotted the line that Covid-19 definitely came from the Wuhan ‘wet market’.
Why? Why the lack of criticism of China? Why no mention of the possible role of the Wuhan National Biosafety Laboratory and the Wuhan Institute of Virology by any other government?
Is it because governments actually have more in common with each other than they do with what the French call “le petit peuple” (the little people) – us ordinary citizens? Is it because governments know there would be popular outrage if we – the little people – realised that it was government incompetence that caused the current pandemic? Is it because, faced with a pandemic which will kill tens of thousands, governments are sticking together to keep control of the little people?
I don’t know. Do you?
The scientific circumstantial evidence?
And finally, here for anyone who understands it, is some more scientific circumstantial evidence suggesting that the Coronavirus, which is causing the Covid-19 outbreak, was bioengineered in a lab and didn’t cross species from bats or snakes to humans as our rulers keep claiming.
During January of 2020 a team of nine high-level researchers at the University of Delhi’s Kusuma School of Biological Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology investigated the RNA side of the genetic blueprint of the COVID-19 virus. These Indian researchers collaborated in the analysis of the organism that some have taken to calling the Wuhan supervirus.
The initial findings of the researchers have been published on line in a paper entitled, “Uncanny Similarity of Unique Inserts in the 2019-nCoV Spike Protein to HIV-1 gp120 and Gag.” At the time of writing this essay, the University of Delhi’s much-smeared contribution to COVID-19 research continues to be available online even though it is still making its way through the process of peer review with possible future revisions.
The main finding of the study so far is that the genetic structure of the virus has “4 insertions in the spike glycoprotein (S) which are unique to the 2019-nCoV [COVID-19] and are not present in other coronaviruses.” These “4 inserts have identity or similarity to those in HIV-1 gp120 or HIV-1 Gag.”This finding “sheds light on the evolution and pathogenicity of this virus.”
The authors of the paper find that the genetic inserts into the virus “have identity/similarity to amino acid residues in key structural proteins of HIV-1.” These characteristics are “unlikely to be fortuitous in nature.” This key phrase indicates that in the opinion of the researchers the presence of HIV genes in COVID-19 was not the result of some process of random mutation in nature. Instead, the insertion of the HIV genes into the new coronavirus probably took place through an engineered intervention by experts in microbiology.
The finding that HIV genes are integral to the genetic structure of COVID-19 has not been seriously challenged. The fact that HIV treatments are being widely used to ease the symptoms of those suffering the effects of the new infection is highly suggestive. It implies that some of the analysis of the Kusuma School of microbiologists was quickly seized upon and applied in clinical situations.
So, could the insertion of the HIV genes could have occurred without human intervention, without genetic engineering?
