Dying to be friends with the Clintons?

(Friday blog)

I wanted to write about a story closer to home today. But then I came across the (IMHO) amazing video below. Normally I never recommend a video of more than 3 or 4 minutes. This one is about 16 minutes. It concerns the death of Jeffrey Epstein and 46 other people connected to the Clintons who died in quite unusual circumstances.

Just a couple of points before you watch the video:

  • Jeffrey Epstein was a fighter. He had an incredible life story. He started out as a teacher, but then the father of one of his students noticed his amazing ability with maths and encouraged him to get into banking. From there he rose from having virtually nothing to becoming one of the USA’s best-connected billionaires. He was not a quitter.
  • Although he faced the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison, this was by no means a done deal. He had millions to spend on lawyers. He could have claimed the new trial was invalid as he had already been granted immunity due to the plea bargain at his previous trial a decade or so earlier. Or he could have claimed ‘double jeopardy’ – that he was being tried a second time for crimes that he had already been tried for. Or he could have tried to do another plea bargain deal – hand over incriminating evidence on a bunch of important people in return for a lower sentence in a more lenient institution. There may even have been other tactics open to him and his lawyers. So there was no compelling need to kill himself

Then, of course, there were the circumstances surrounding his supposed suicide:

  • the prison guards were supposedly both asleep
  • the camera outside Epstein’s cell was not working so we don’t know if anyone went into Epstein’s cell
  • he was taken off suicide watch despite having supposedly tried to commit suicide just a couple of weeks earlier
  • Epstein was a big guy – around six foot – is it really possible for a six-foot man to hang himself from a prison bunk bed?

Anyway, let’s move on to the video. It features two news presenters discussing a list of almost 50 people who were either close associates of the Clintons or who had been involved in investigating the Clintons and who all met their maker rather earlier than they probably expected. If you were to make a list of all the gruesome methods of murdering people from your favourite detective series, you’d find most of them used with former associates of or investigators of the Clintons.

The lesson from this video is – if the Clintons give you a call and invite you over for dinner, it would probably be best to thank them but tell them that unfortunately you’re too busy.

What I really like about the video is the presenters’ total shock and disbelief as they go through the list, particularly when discussing someone who apparently shot himself from four foot away or when a woman supposedly suicided herself when she had her bags packed to go away……..

But don’t let me spoil your fun. Here’s the video. Enjoy!

The USA is in many ways a bit ‘third worldish.’ I mean, who still thinks it was Lee Harvey Oswald that assassinated Kennedy? Who believes the official version of the Oklahoma City bombing. And as for 9/11, the official explanation of what happened on that day must assume the American public are dim-witted – maybe they’re are spot-on there! They still wave their flags and think their military are wonderful, when every war they have fought since WW2 has turned out to be either a military or political (and economic) disaster. Not to mention their disparity in wealth between the richest and poorest which in that country is the worst in any advanced economy and as bad as it was in France under Louis XVI.
