The brazen lies of the brazen Net Zero liars

Tuesday-Thursday blog

I’ll keep it very short today, as I actually wanted to use today’s blog to recomend an inteview with the wonderful Douglas Murray “Cowardice is killing the West”.

The brazen lies of the brazen Net Zero liars

I turned on Talk TV a couple of days ago just as I was getting ready to go out for dinner. There was an inteview with a Net Zero fanatic who claimed that Net Zero had made life less expensive for all of us. So I thought it worth showing you just one simple chart. It shows the percentage wind and solar per capita for some major countries graphed against the energy cost for each country prior to the Russia/Ukraine fiasco:

Providing you didn’t go to school in the last 20 years or providing you’re not one of our useless, self-serving, expenses-fiddling, snouts-in-the-trough, waste-of-skin, scientifically-challenged MPs, you should be capable of seeing a very clear pattern – the greater the use of supposedly ‘cheap’ renewables like wind and solar, the higher a country’s energy costs. Unfortunately the Talk TV interviewer didn’t have the knowledge to ask the Net Zero fanatic how he could explain this.

A fantastic interview with Douglas Murray

I normally only recommend YouTube videos which are just a few minutes long. This one is over an hour. It begins with a discussion about Israel and then moves on to the total supine, spineless capitulation of Western politicians, institutions and media to the assault from our friends from our favourite religion.

If you do have time, it’s possibly worth watching:

There would be no point in putting the cost argument to the fanatics because they have two responses. Firstly, if we don’t move to net zero then climate change from fossil fuel use will destroy civilisations and the planet. Secondly, renewable energy may be expensive now but new technologies will make them cheaper. Thirdly, there is too much profit being made from oil to give it up. You make the same point about the Talk TV interviewer as I make about Farage and Rees-Mogg and the reason they both fail with fanatics is that they both believe that we are causing climate change. They are all making matters worse by giving a voice to fanatics and ensuring that viewers are more likely to believe the fanatics. I think there are signs that people are noticing the impact in their pockets but they are still incapable of understanding why and reversing the damage that has been done will cost them even more, if we have the money for it.

It isn’t just the school leavers over the last 20 years, and if it is, the problem is with the teachers and who employs them? I have discussed climate science with highly qualified electrical engineers and they believe that all radiation transfers heat. It is impossible to change their view. Humans have a fundamental problem which is they have difficulty facing reality and prefer a fantasy world where they can eliminate all risk which means believing liars who claim to be able to do this. The King and his heir warn us about climate change. Surely they are not wrong? The failure to face reality is why we had Witch Finders and why the Romans looked for omens in animal entails. The stupidity continues only the basis of it changes.

I can’t listen to Murray anymore. He is full of his own importance and now seems to be a religious fanatic. In the parts I listened to he just makes statements without providing evidence. If he feels so strongly why doesn’t he stand for Parliament or join the Israeli army? He talks about history but what did he think about Alexander the Great killing is way through the Levant to create his empire? He talks about cowardice, does he really want more killing? He should look at what Europeans have done in the past. We destroyed the Aztec and Incas. We saw the American Indians, Maori, Aborigines and Africans as inferior and treated them accordingly. Now we have opened our borders to those who seem to hate us, and no wonder after what we have done in the middle east.
