In spite of all the hot air emitted from various orifices by global warming fashionistas like George Monbiot and his warmist fellow-travellers, 2009 gave us the wettest summer and coldest winter for 20-30 years. Still, no doubt once the Met Office and the ‘University’ of East Anglia have massaged the figures, they’ll claim that 2009 was the warmest year on record and the politically-correct BBC will faithfully keep on pumping out warming stories as we all sit freezing in our homes.
