The useless, overpaid asses who run the BBC have started firing people who do real work in order to supposedly save money so BBC bosses can squander any savings on stupid ideas like the catastrophic move to Salford. I don’t have the latest salary figures, but even a couple of years ago they were astonishing and they’ve certainly gone up since then: Mark Thompson-£816,000; Jana Bennett-£536,000; Mark Byford-£513,000 (he’s just been given hundreds of thousands of pounds of our money to leave); John Smith-£486,000; Ashley Highfield-£466,000; Caroline Thompson-£440,000; Zarin Patel-£440,000.
This bunch of incompetent buffoons are pocketing millions every year while running the BBC into the ground. Welcome to New Britain – land of incompetence, bureaucracy and overpaid managers busily firing frontline staff so they can keep their own big salaries and huge pensions.
