Meanwhile, as Lord Janner is finally forced into appearing in court, we can expect some wonderful acting as he plays the role of a likeable, vulnerable old man with dementia. Yet somehow, just a couple of years ago (as far as I understand) he drove to the Lords to claim some expenses and recently (I believe) moved his home into his children’s names so that, if he were sued by his alleged victims, there wouldn’t be much money for them to go after.
I hope Lord Janner will be considered for an Oscar in his new role as the Great Escaper:
