Today, hopefully here’s a not unimportant story I rather doubt you’ll find reported anywhere in the fearmongering, propagandist mainstream media. After all, the point of a blog like this is not for me to pontificate about stories that you can read in other places, but to try to find stories that nobody else chooses to mention.
Testing, testing, testing
According to a government website, around 920,068 RT-PCR tests are conducted each day and about 336,750,439 have been carried out in total since the Fauci Wuhan Chinese plague first hit us.
If each test has cost UK taxpayers or UK citizens say £50, that’s £16,837, 550,000 (£16bn) we’ve spent on these tests. As £16bn is quite a lot of money, you would hope that these RT-PCR tests are pretty amazing at detecting those people who are at risk of spreading Xi Pingpong’s lab-engineered and lab-leaked plague.
Did the inventor warn us?
Often heralded as one of the most important scientific advances in molecular biology, PCR revolutionised the study of DNA to such an extent that its creator, Kary B. Mullis, was awarded the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1993.
There has been quite a lot of activity on social media and conspiracy websites claiming that the inventor of the RT-PCR test said it couldn’t be used to detect Covid-19. But these must be misinterpretations as Kary Mullis, who was born in 1944, died on 7 August 2019. The first cases of Covid-19 were reported by officials in December 2019 in Wuhan, China.
So Mullis could not have made any specific commentary on the effectiveness of using PCR testing for Covid-19. However, from the tiny amount I understand, what Mullis did comment on was that when testing for HIV, depending on the level of amplification used in the test, “If they could find this virus in you at all, with PCR, if you do it well, you can find almost anything in anybody”.
The smoking gun?
But things do start to get a little more interesting when we move away from social media conspiracy websites and instead look at an official UK government guide to using RT-PCR tests.
Just to prove I’m not a crazed conspiracy spreader, here’s the link to the 12-page document:
The possibly worrying part of this official UK government guide comes on page 6:
RT-PCR detects presence of viral genetic material in a sample but is not able to distinguish whether infectious virus is present.
This seems to be suggesting that the test can identify if you have traces of the virus in your body – which I imagine is fairly useful. But it cannot identify if you are infectious and therefore would need to isolate to prevent you passing the virus on to other people. Yet our rulers and their supposedly ‘scientific’ advisers keep blethering on about how many tests they have done, how many people have tested positive and how important these tests are to getting infected people to isolate to protect the saintly NHS.
So, while an ingénue might be overjoyed that we have spent £16bn or so on RT-PCR tests, a cynic might be tempted to conclude that the tests are of dubious value and that all the testing and mask-wearing and lockdowns and other restrictions are more about spreading fear to enable social control than actually trying to save lives.
Those Swedes aren’t turnips

And let’s remember how few people were hospitalised in Sweden where the government didn’t use mass RT-PCR testing to conjure up apocalyptic figures of infections to terrify that country’s citizens’ into cravenly abdicating their freedoms and allowing their economy to be trashed.
I believe that the Swedes did some modelling of expected ICU patient admissions using the techniques developed by the Bonking Boffin, Professor Neil Ferguson, at Imperial College in London.
The predictions are the two impressively high ‘mountains’ on the chart. The actual level of patients in ICU units in Swedish hospitals is the boringly flat thick blue line:

The Wuhan Chinese Covid-19 plague has now killed well over 5 million people. Probably another 5 million or more have died because overwhelmed doctors and hospitals were unable to provide medical treatment for other conditions such as cancers, heart attacks, strokes etc etc. And perhaps 20 million or 30 million or more have been impoverished in Third-World countries as their only means of providing for themselves and their families were destroyed by the economic collapse caused by the Chinese plague.
Given all this, you might have thought that our rulers would have some interest in discovering how the Chinese plague started. But there has been quite extraordinary silence from those we elect to supposedly serve us. As for our supposedly independent, investigative journalists – not an iota of interest in investigating the greatest disaster to have hit mankind since the Second World War.
Even worse, our politicians and media have been surprisingly quick to brand as crazed conspiracy theorists anyone suggesting that the Chinese plague accidentally leaked from a filthy, unhygienic supposedly Biosafety Level 4 lab staffed by slovenly, corrupt Chinese employees at the Wuhan Institute of Virology or even worse a Biosafety Level 2 lab at the Wuhan Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (武汉市疾病预防控制中心).
As for U.S. supposed President, Joe ‘Alzheimers’ Biden, he promised a quick (3-month) but thorough investigation of the source of the Chinese plague which would report in August: “I have now asked the Intelligence Community to redouble their efforts to collect and analyze information that could bring us closer to a definitive conclusion, and to report back to me in 90 days,” Biden said.
Things have gone pretty quiet since then.
Do you trust Dr ‘Frankenstein’ Fauci?
Readers who have been following this story will know about the heated exchanges in the U.S. Senate between Senator Rand Paul (a former doctor) and Dr Anthony Fauci (director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, NIAID, and chief medical advisor to the U.S. President) over whether Fauci had been funnelling U.S. taxpayer funds through an organisation called the EcoHealth Alliance to the Wuhan Institute of Virology to pay for ‘gain of function’ research into coronaviruses. Fauci has repeatedly denied that the U.S. ever paid for ‘gain of function’ research at Wuhan.
But what about this 11 July 2016 email from Peter Daszak (President of the EcoHealth Alliance) to various people at the NIH (National Institutes of Health) and Fauci’s NIAID:

It clearly states: “This is terrific. We are very happy to hear that our Gain of Function research funding pause has been lifted. Cheers. Peter”
Or, here’s another email. This one is from Fauci himself in 2020 when Fauci and friends were (IMHO) desperately trying to cover up the fact that they had been involved in funding ‘gain of function’ research at Wuhan. This email confirms that the U.S. National Institutes of health had been funding ‘gain of function’ research on coronaviruses:
Fauci wrote: “The paper you sent me says the experiments were performed before the gain of function pause but have since been reviewed and approved by NIH. Not sure what this means as Emily is sure that no Coronavirus work has gone through the P3 framework. She will try to determine whether we have any distant ties to this work abroad”.
I rather doubt you’ll be seeing either of these emails mentioned in any of the UK media. I rather doubt any of our rulers or media are interested in this story.
I will leave it up to your (hopefully vivid) imaginations as to why our rulers and our mainstream media are apparently totally allergic to any attempts to discover the real origin of the Chinese plague.
Oh, and here’s Fauci a few months ago (before the two emails above were made public) denying that the NIH ever funded ‘gain of function’ research:
I want to write about money today, big money, big amounts of our money. But first just a brief little story about my latest book THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS.
In March, when I decided to write THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS, I emailed my literary agent asking his opinion. This was before a single word of the book had been written. In spite of my agent not seeing any of the book as nothing had been written then, he emailed me back saying he would not try to sell it to any publisher. His reason (excuse?) was that UK publishers would be too terrified of the woke Twitter and Facebook mob to publish anything daring to question the climate catastrophe cult.
So I had to fork out the £1,000 or so to publish the book myself.
As sales passed 1,000 copies this week, I approached my agent again. This time I suggested we try to sell translation rights for the book. I explained why I believed there would be an international market for the book:
“Over the next few years, there will be a massive political battle fought across the whole developed world. This battle will be between the climate alarmists, who want to impose ever more restrictions, taxes and other costs on ordinary people to supposedly save the planet from a ‘climate crisis’, and ordinary people who will see their freedoms constrained and their taxes and living costs rise to achieve the climate alarmists’ plans for us.”
“THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS could become a key weapon in the fight-back of ordinary people against the repressive policies of the virtue-signalling, hypocritical, do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do climate alarmist elites.”
But my agent again refused to try to sell the book. This time his reason (excuse) was: “I fear without a UK/US trade publisher and reviews it will be almost impossible to sell abroad and I can’t help. Sorry.”
I’m struggling slightly to accept this argument and have a feeling that there is a hidden censorship at work by which nobody in the progressive, politically-correct establishment dares have anything to do with a book that could inflame the howling ecofascist social-media mobs.
And before everyone suggests “get a new agent”, I should say I am trying but I expect I’ll find the same hidden fawningly politically-correct censorship whichever literary agency I try.
Let’s give them billions or trillions or squadrillions?
Now to the main subject of today’s blog
I don’t know if readers have noticed a slight, but important change in one simple word that has been used at the Cop26 Glasgow blether-farce. Up till the start of Cop26, our jet-setting, virtue-signalling, champagne-quaffing, caviar-guzzling elites had repeatedly told us that they would be handing over $100bn a year of our money to supposedly help undeveloped countries deal with the supposedly devastating effects of supposed catastrophic global warming or climate change or climate emergency or climate crisis or climate breakdown or whatever it’s called this week.
But in interviews over the last couple of days, the great and good have now started suggesting that fighting climate change will cost ‘trillions’. Suddenly, without providing any justification, the word ‘billions’ has magically been changed to ‘trillions’. You don’t have to be a genius to guess where these ‘trillions’ will be coming from – and it won’t be from the pockets of the world’s jet-setting, preachy, do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do millionaires and billionaires.

We already give over $100bn a year to the Third World. In 1970 a group of countries agreed to donate 0.7% of their GDP in aid. Since then, the supposedly ‘developing’ world has received probably over $5trn in aid. I wonder where all that $5trn+ has gone? I wonder where all the hospitals and schools and power plants and roads and water supply and universities and other stuff we’ve so generously paid for are? All I see are a bunch of AK47-wielding primitives slaughtering each other and destroying anything that is ever built.
Our ruling elites have now even started talking about a new “environmental Marshall Plan” to help the Third World cope with the supposed challenges of the supposed climate change crisis. After WWII, Europe received about $20bn (in today’s money) a year for 5 years – $100bn in total. But just Sub-Saharan Africa has been receiving much more than this every year for the last 50 years:

It seems that the more aid African countries get (the red line on the chart) the lower their GDP growth (the blue line on the chart). Why? Because the more money each country receives, the more each country’s rulers steal for themselves thus reducing investment and growth. As one aid expert, Dambisa Moyo in her 2010 book Dead Aid explained: “The notion that aid can eliminate systemic poverty, and has done so, is a myth. Millions in Africa are poorer today because of aid: misery and poverty have not ended but have increased.”
It seems that in Africa, black lives don’t matter to African rulers. It’s a pity the BLM protestors don’t have their stupid riots outside the embassies of black African countries.
So, let’s end with the question: If we in the West are stupid enough to allow $100bn a year of our money to be pumped into the offshore bank accounts of the world’s worst kleptocrats, do we really believe that our money will be well spent saving Third-World countries from the supposedly ‘devastating’ effects of supposed catastrophic climate change?

This week it’s almost impossible to write about anything other than the meteorological-mastubatory mega-farce going on in Glasgow. Though, if you watch CNN, you’ll have been told by ace veteran CNN reporter, Wolf Blitzer, that Cop26 is taking place in Edinburgh:
But CNN aren’t exactly famed for their accuracy or honesty.
The first two days of the mega-conference were truly a battle of the hyperboles as our ‘world leaders’ all sought to outdo each other in blethering about how imminent mankind’s self-destruction was. We had:
code red for humanity!
last chance saloon!
mankind is digging its own grave!
the doomsday clock is ticking!
we’re one minute to midnight!
the earth will become a barren rock if we don’t act now!
These are just a few that I heard before I turned the TV off in disgust.
These apocalyptic exaggerations sort of remind me of what the (IMHO) most useless waste of skin in Britain, our very own beloved future king Prince Charles, said 12 years ago at some climate gabfest in May 2009: “We have very little time left – indeed less than 100 months”.
Meanwhile Ghastly Greta Doomberg and her adoring, scientifically-challenged disciples were screaming abuse outside the conference centre with such pearls of wisdom as “no more blah blah blah” and “you can shove your Cop26 up your arse!”
Do politicians and journalists know they are lying?
As we’re being bombarded with climate-catastrophist nonsense, the question I have is: do the politicians and journalists know they are lying? Or do they really believe that Greta Doomberg is the new Messiah?
Perhaps the most amusing/depressing feature of the current climate farce is the self-promoting, po-faced, hyper-dramatic seriousness with which herds of supposed ‘journalists’ are reporting the supposed global warming catastrophe. They all seem to be rushing around the world in planes and helicopters to bring us the most frightening reports from places that are supposedly already suffering from catastrophic warming.
Just to put these deadly serious reports into perspective, here’s a climate reporter from the 1970s. He’s predicting a climate catastrophe from Global Cooling and the coming of a new Ice Age using almost exactly the same self-promoting, po-faced, hyper-dramatic seriousness and same language that today’s reporters are using to terrify us about supposed Global Warming:
“The hottest day since yesterday!”
This week there are so many absurdities being vomited out by our media that there’s no space in a short blog to list them all. But one is probably worth mentioning: – the claims that (name of a place) is experiencing its hottest/wettest/stormiest/driest (delete as appropriate) weather in (invent a number) of years.
One stupid ‘journalist’ claimed some town was having its “hottest day for 7 months”. Well, that’s not surprising as the place (I can’t remember its name) was in the Southern Hemisphere and was therefore moving from winter to summer. Clearly the ‘journalist’ wasn’t aware that summers tend to be warmer than winters.
I’ve just seen a supposed ‘journalist’ excitedly announcing that some town in Australia, that nobody has ever heard of, has just had its wettest day for 4 years. No doubt this ludicrously irrelevant ‘fact’ will be trumpeted by climate catastrophists as definite proof of climate change destroying all life on earth.
Another supposed ‘journalist’ found a town somewhere that was having its hottest day for 75 years. If that’s true, then the weather must have been hotter 76 years ago when atmospheric CO2 levels were much lower than they are now. Ooops!
And then, as Tony Heller brilliantly explains, there was somewhere in India or Pakistan having its hottest weather ever. But that was a lie like all the other lies we’re being force-fed by the mainstream media as they genuflect and grovel to the jet-setting, holier-than-thou, virtue-signalling elites partying at our expense amid the piles of rubbish and used drug-addicts’ needles in Glasgow (or Edinburgh if you watch Wolf Blitzer on CNN).
Perhaps amusingly this particular town had a train which used to carry an empty coffin for the use of any passengers who died of heat during the train journey to the town:
I’m really struggling to watch the news at the moment. Almost every story is about supposedly disastrous climate change. I tried watching the BBC1’s Andrew Marr Show on Sunday morning. But it was so full of climate garbage I had to switch off after the first two interviews as I couldn’t face watching Marr talking to the ludicrous Greta Doomberg or the even more ludicrous Ed Miliband.
One thing I did notice was a change in the BBC’s language. Marr kept referring to the coming “climate catastrophe”. This seems to be a deliberate attempt by the BBC to increase the level of terror as last week we were told that it was just a “climate crisis”.
Anyone who has read Laura Dodsworth’s book STATE OF FEAR: How the UK Government Weaponised Fear During the Covid-19 Pandemic will understand how the government’s Behavioural Science Unit, enthusiastically helped by the mainstream media, used fear to cower people into submission to ever more draconian restrictions on our freedoms during the Wuhan plague. We can be sure that similar tactics will be used with the supposed impending ‘climate catastrophe’ to browbeat us into accepting massively higher energy prices, more taxes and ever more brutal restrictions on our freedoms to supposedly ‘save the planet’.
How do the elites get away with such nonsense?
There are so many reasons why the theory that an increase in a trace gas from 3 parts per 10,000 of our atmosphere to 4 parts per 10,000 over 150 years could cause the Earth to overheat is such complete nonsense that I could almost write a book about it. Ooops, I have written a book about it:
Oh well, for those who haven’t read my book, here are just a few arguments you can use when vainly trying to knock sense into the heads of idiotic, bed-wetting climate catastrophists.
Point 1: Why hasn’t the Earth already overheated?
In the past, CO2 levels have been much higher than today. About 500 million years ago, atmospheric CO2 levels were above 4,000 ppm (parts per million). That’s ten times today’s levels:
So, if CO2 levels are driving supposed global warming, why didn’t the Earth overheat then? Not only did the Earth not overheat, but life on earth thrived.
Point 2: CO2 is essential for life on our planet
About 300 million years ago atmospheric CO2 levels fell to a dangerously low 250 ppm. CO2 is an essential plant food. Many agriculturalists with greenhouses install CO2 generators:
These raise the level of CO2 in the greenhouses to between 1,000 and 1,200 ppm. This increases plant growth by at least 30%. It’s possible that the ideal level of CO2 in our atmosphere is around 1,000 ppm, well above today’s 413 ppm. Were atmospheric CO2 to fall much below 200 ppm, most plant life would die out and so would we.
It would be rather ironic if our scientists were to invent technology capable of extracting CO2 from our atmosphere and they ended up reducing CO2 levels so much that, instead of saving mankind, they ended up wiping us out. That would be almost as stupid as scientists hunting a new vaccine developing new experimental viruses and then allowing those viruses to leak from a dirty, unhygienic Chinese lab and killing millions of people.
Point 3: Our climate is cyclical
If atmospheric CO2 levels were driving the climate, then the Earth would have overheated millions of years ago when CO2 levels were above 4,000 ppm. But the Earth didn’t overheat because our climate is cyclical:

The main driver of climate cyclicality is the Earth’s varying orbit around the Sun. This orbit goes from almost circular to elliptical over a period of around 100,000 years. Then there are other cycles such the Earth’s tilt and precession:
These are called Milankovitch Cycles. In addition, there are several shorter climate cycles, for example cycles of solar activity:
There are also weather phenomena such as El Nino and La Nina, the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation and several more.
Point 4: CO2 doesn’t drive temperature, it follows it
As for CO2 levels – they do not drive temperature changes, they follow temperature changes. As the Earth warms, more CO2 is released from the oceans into the atmosphere. Then, as the Earth cools, more CO2 is absorbed from the atmosphere by the oceans.
Point 5: CO2 is an almost insignificant greenhouse gas
If you Google something like ‘greenhouse gases chart’, you’ll get a picture like this:
But what this pie chart (conveniently for the scientifically-challenged Greta-worshippers) omits to show is that the main greenhouse gas is NOT CO2, it’s water vapour. Water vapour – moisture in the atmosphere and clouds – makes up around 90% of greenhouse gases. CO2 is only about 6%. Moreover, water vapour absorbs a wider spectrum of the Sun’s rays than CO2. Perhaps amusingly, when climate alarmist articles try to frighten us by showing stuff spewing out from power stations, what they’re showing is steam (water vapour) from coolers, not CO2:
I noticed an article last week about some idiots cheering as a power station cooling tower was demolished. I wonder where these idiots think their electricity is going to come from to power their precious selfie-taking phones now that their local power station has been flattened to meet the CO2 reduction targets in the ridiculous Ed Miliband’s economically-suicidal Climate Change Act.
Neil Oliver to the rescue?
I could go on. But then I risk falling victim to despondency and despair at human stupidity.
So, instead of me bitching and moaning, here’s Neil Oliver. In this clip, he criticises the hypocrisy of the climate catastrophists. Even he doesn’t dare question the cod-science used by the climate catastrophists to coerce and intimidate us into giving up our freedoms in subservience to the climate catastrophists’ false prophets of doom:
I have been trying for weeks to get interviewed on GB News about my latest book – “THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS”. But I just get ignored. A couple of days ago I think I found out why – even GB News now believes Greta’s climate catastrophist nonsense and has started pumping out climate catastrophist propaganda. So GB News would hardly want to interview someone who could actually make a credible case that the whole climate crisis hysteria was just a mass delusion with absolutely no factual basis.
I switched over to GB News for a few minutes last Wednesday or Thursday. There was some kind of panel discussion about supposed impending disaster from supposedly man-made climate change. Some crazy woman made five claims that were complete garbage. But nobody on the panel of ‘experts’ had either the knowledge, or perhaps courage, to contradict her.
Here are her five claims and the reasons they are all rubbish:
Claim 1: “99% of scientists agree that humans are causing climate change”
Firstly, the study on which this is based actually claims 97% of scientists, not 99% of scientists. But more importantly, if anyone has read chapter 9 of my book THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS, they would know that the 97% figure was developed by an Australian web designer (not a climate scientist) with a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Western Australia. Moreover, I explain in the book how the figures were fiddled to conjure up the magical “97% of scientists” when the real percentage of scientists believing human activities were responsible for climate change was actually only 8.2%.

Claim 2: “Climate change will lead to crop failures and mass starvation”
CO2 is an essential element for plant growth. Many agriculturalists put CO2 generators in their greenhouses to raise CO2 levels from 413 parts per million in the atmosphere to 1,000 to 1,200 parts per million in their greenhouses. This improves crop yields by 30% or more. Crop yields across the world have been increasing as atmospheric CO2 levels have been rising from 280 parts per million 150 years ago to the current level of around 413 parts per million:

Rather than leading to crop failures as the woman claimed, rising CO2 levels are actually leading to a greening of the Earth.

Claim 3: “Climate change will lead to millions of deaths in natural disasters”
This woman claimed that many more people than ever before would die in increasing numbers of natural disasters such as droughts, floods, wildfires and suchlike.
In fact, the number of people being killed by climate-related natural disasters has fallen by over 90% over the last century:
Rising CO2 levels have actually coincided with rising prosperity and rising life expectancy:

Claim 4: “Climate change will lead to conflict and wars”
During the 1960s and 1970s, the Earth went through a period of cooling. Instead of worrying about supposed Global Warming, the scientific consensus was that there was a risk of a new Ice Age:
Even the now rabid global-warming-believing Guardian newspaper was predicting Global Cooling just 50 years ago.
This Global Cooling would, the scientists assured us, lead to crop failures, mass starvation and war as countries fought over dwindling food resources. This scenario was taken so seriously that the US CIA did a study assessing where global cooling wars would break out:
But, of course, by the 1980s, the Global Cooling stopped and everyone (especially the Guardian) quickly forgot about the impending new Ice Age and all jumped on the Global Warming bandwagon.

Claim 5: “The floods and droughts in Australia show climate change is already happening”
Here’s a copy of an article from an Australian newspaper from 1868 showing that alternating floods and droughts were common in Australia long before anyone started wetting their beds about supposed catastrophic man-made climate change:

Woke GB News cowards?
There is some good stuff on GB News such as the monologues by Patrick Christys and Neil Oliver and sometimes Farage does ok.
But when it come to supposed climate change, GB News seems to have gone totally woke.
So GB News would never dare invite me on any programme or interview me. The new woke, climate-change-believing GB News doesn’t dare question the ever more hyperbolic claims of the Greta-worshipping climate catastrophist cult.
Some readers may find this little story interesting as it illustrates how intolerant the supposedly tolerant, morally-superior, virtue-signalling progressives are and the oppressive stranglehold they have on free speech.
A difficult birth

The first problem was that my literary agent told me to not waste my time as he said no UK publisher would dare publish the book as they would be too afraid of being attacked by the Twitter, Facebook and other social media lynch mobs.
But I went ahead and wrote the book anyway. I then forked out the £1,000 or so to produce and publish the book myself in June 2021.
THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS takes all the main claims of the deranged climate catastrophists and demolishes each one. From supposedly melting ice caps, rising sea levels, more wildfires, more flooding, the ‘97% of scientists’ claim and soon-to-be-extinct polar bears, THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS shows that none of these are true.
Attention-seeking
It has been difficult to get any media attention for my book.
While some mainstream media will dare question the cost and the consequences of Britain trying to achieve net zero while China enthusiastically builds hundreds more coal-fired power stations, nobody in the media (not even the supposedly ‘anti-woke’ GB News) will dare ask whether human activities actually are responsible for changes in our climate in the first place.
As I was unable to get any printed, social or broadcast media to show any interest in my book, I had to take matters into my own hands yet again. To have a bit of fun, I commissioned a large poster advertising THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS:
I then hired an advan (advertising van) to drive around the centre of Manchester for two days on 4th and 5th October during the Tory Party conference:
My intention was to use the same advan for two days during Boris’s and Carrie’s November Glasgow Cop26 bletherfest and then again for two days in London once Parliament returned in mid-November. But when I tried to book the same van to advertise THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS, the advan company refused to take the booking as their driver in Manchester had been heckled, insulted, threatened and even assaulted by global warming fanatics.
Here is the message I received from the advan company:
Thank you for your email.
After due consideration, unfortunately we will not be able to fulfil future bookings for your book as the content of the banner message is just too inflammatory.
This resulted in our driver being both verbally abused throughout the course of the Manchester operation and then physically assaulted by a member of the public. An incident attended by the police and for which I understand a man was arrested.
If you can find another contractor who is prepared to undertake the work, we would be happy to arrange for the banners to be delivered to them.
I can understand that it would be ‘inflammatory’ if I were produce a poster insulting people because of their skin colour or even because they wore women’s clothing while still having a healthy, well-functioning penis.
But apparently in our perverse. progressive, politically-correct world, it is now considered ‘inflammatory’ to dare suggest that the Earth’s climate is controlled by things like the Earth’s varying orbit around the Sun (Milankovitch Cycles), the Earth’s tilt, levels of solar activity and such cyclical phenomena as El Nino, La Nina, the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation, the Madden-Julian Oscillation and the Indian Ocean Dipole.
It is now apparently ‘inflammatory’ to dare question the end-of-time superstitions of the woke, progressive, scientifically-challenged, pig-ignorant, Greta-adoring doomsday cultists.
It seems that free speech in the UK is only allowed for those with the ‘correct’ opinions.
How we’ve been browbeaten into cowardly compliance:
First we were told we only needed a few weeks lockdown to ‘flatten the curve’
Then we were told we needed more restrictions to ‘save the NHS’
Then more more lockdowns to ‘flatten the curve’ and to ‘save the NHS’
Then we were told the elderly and vulnerable needed to have the ‘miracle’ vaccines to protect them
Then every adult needed the ‘miracle’ vaccines to protect the elderly and the vulnerable
Then teenagers needed the ‘miracle’ vaccines to protect all adults and ‘save the NHS’
Then children needed the ‘miracle’ vaccines to protect everybody and ‘save the NHS’
Then the elderly needed ‘miracle’ booster shots of the ‘miracle’ vaccines to protect them as vaccine effectiveness faded after about 6 months
Now all adults are being told to get ‘miracle’ booster shots of the ‘miracle’ vaccines to protect the elderly, the vulnerable and the NHS
Yet the Xi Pingpong plague isn’t actually particularly dangerous:

Professor Adam Finn, who is on the Joint Committee of Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), warned against complacency in what he said is a “worsening”situation. He said people need to be testing themselves, wearing masks and avoiding crowds in enclosed spaces in order to prevent “a real meltdown”.
Prof Finn said that while vaccines are very effective at stopping people from getting seriously ill, they are not so effective at stopping infections altogether or stopping the virus from spreading. “They do have an effect on that, but they’re not by themselves going to be enough at the present time to keep the spread of the virus under control,” he said. “And we do need to see people continuing to make efforts to avoid contact, to avoid transmission, and to do other things as well as get vaccinated if we’re going to stop this rise from going up further,” he told Trevor Phillips On Sunday on Sky News.
Prof Finn added: “I would like to re-emphasise the fact that the vaccine programme by itself, in the current situation, even if things go optimally, is not, in my opinion, enough to bring things under control. We do need to have people using lateral flow tests, avoiding contact with large numbers of people in enclosed spaces, using masks, all of those things now need to happen if we’re going to stop this rise and get things under control soon enough to stop a real meltdown in the middle of the winter.”
His comments came after another prominent adviser to the Government on Covid-19 said he is “very fearful” there will be another “lockdown Christmas” as he urged the public to do everything possible to reduce transmission of the virus. Professor Peter Openshaw, a member of the New and Emerging Respiratory Virus Threats Advisory Group (Nervtag), said case numbers and death rates are currently “unacceptable”.
He said measures such as working from home and mask-wearing are “so important” as part of efforts to control the spread of Covid. Prof Openshaw also advised people to “take matters into your own hands”, telling BBC Breakfast on Saturday: “Don’t wait necessarily for Government policy.”
I think I can confidently predict that, if the Wuhan plague panic ever subsides, a similar step by step browbeating will be used to force us into accepting extraordinary restrictions on our freedoms to supposedly ‘save the planet’ from supposed ‘catastrophic climate change’.
