You’ll all know that the figures used by the recently honoured Twins of Doom – Vallance and Whitty – regarding lab-leaked Chinese plague deaths are complete nonsense. This is because they include anyone who has died within 28 days of a positive Chinese plague test. So, if you have a heart attack, stroke or car accident and die in hospital having also tested positive for the Chinese lab-leaked plague, you’re counted in the “deaths with Covid” figures even if your death had nothing to do with Covid. This has allowed the Government and supinely obedient media to conduct their Project Fear campaign claiming Covid deaths of over 150,000 to bludgeon us into cowering in terror in our homes while they partied.
GB News’s Freedom of Information request
While almost all the media have screamed for more lockdowns and faster lockdowns and more restrictions, GB News is probably the only media which has dared question the garbage being spewed out by the Government, the Twins of Doom and their sycophantic supporters in the rest of the media.
You probably also know that GB News made a Freedom of Information request to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) asking how many people had died where Covid was the only cause mentioned on the death certificate. The answer was not anywhere near Whitty’s and Valance’s 150,000+ deaths. The answer was just 17,371 over the two years of the Chinese lab-leaked plague. To put this 17,371 into some context, it is estimated that on average 17,000 people have died from the flu just in England annually between 2014/15 and 2018/19 – with the yearly deaths varying widely from a high of 28,330 in 2014/15 to a low of 3,966 in 2018/19. Moreover, the deaths from Covid over two years are about the same level as the 9,700 or so who die prematurely each winter because they cannot afford to heat their homes properly.
Which is it? 17,371 or 153,000?
So, how do we find the real figure for Chinese lab-leaked plague deaths? The 17,371 only includes deaths where Covid was stated as the only cause. But there may be many other cases where people with comorbidities kicked the bucket slightly earlier than expected thanks to Xi Pingpong, enthusiastically assisted by the lying scum at the pathetically misnamed, Chinese-run World Health Organisation (WHO), unleashing the lab-leaked plague on the world.
Perhaps this ONS website gets us nearer the answer?
It lists deaths and death rates for England and Wales over the last 30 years.
The key column is the one on your right – the age-standardised mortality rate. This adjusts the death rates for both population size and for age difference.
As you can see, the age-standardised mortality rate in the 18 years from 1990 to 2008 was higher than during the first year of the Chinese plague (2020). After 2008, the age-standardised mortality rate seems to have been on a downward trend reaching a record low in 2019. Then in 2020 there was clearly an increase we can ascribe to Xi’s and the WHO’s magnificent efforts to practise ways of wiping out mankind.
I suspect that the falling age-standardised mortality rate until Covid is due to things like improved medical care and a decrease in smoking since the 1960s.
Just eyeballing these figures suggests that the increased number of deaths either fully due to Covid or slightly hastened due to Covid may be around 60,000 to 70,000 – fewer than half the number used by the Government and the Twins of Doom.
This might mean that the the age-standardised mortality rate might fall during the next couple of years as thousands who would have died anyway from comorbidities chose to leave us slightly earlier than they otherwise would have done thanks to the WuFlu. The figures I’ve seen for the last 4 months of 2021 suggest that the death rate was below the average for the 5 years prior to Covid which seems to confirm that many of the 60,000 to 70,000 would have departed this planet in 2021 if it hadn’t been for Covid.
On the other hand, the complete collapse of the NHS, which (as we all know) is the envy of the world, might mean that the failure to diagnose and treat people with life-threatening conditions may increase death rates for the next few years?
Was it all worth it?
I can understand that the Government and the supposed ‘experts’ panicked at the end of 2019 as they saw people dying of asphyxiation from a hitherto unknown disease in the corridors of Italian hospitals. But what is unforgivable is the Government and ‘experts’ then launching Project Fear using death rates “with Covid” which they knew were complete statistical nonsense to create an Orwellian state depriving us of our liberties, locking us in our homes and forcing us to wear dehumanising masks while small businesses were crushed and big companies, chums of Tory politicians and the rich make an absolute killing.
I saw this comment by a Daily Telegraph reader: “During 2020, I was living next door to a Coop funeral home. They had only 2 clients and eventually CLOSED! Make of that what you will”.
And here’s the magnificent Neil Oliver from GB News asking whether the panic and lockdowns were really necessary:
You’re all probably aware of a hostage-taking in which a British terrorist who held four Jews hostage at gunpoint last Saturday at a Texas synagogue told his brother that he had been planning the event for two years and that he came to America to “go down as a martyr.”
In a recording of the call that he made from Beth Israel synagogue to his brother Gulbar Malik Faisal Akram said he came to America on a jihadi mission and to demand the release of convicted terrorist Aafia Siddiqui, known as “Lady Al-Qaeda.”
Here’s how the Jew-hating, Muzlim-adoring BBC reported the story:
I looked up the word ‘detained’ in an online dictionary and came up with the following example:
To detain someone is to delay that person for a short period of time: “We were detained in traffic and arrived at the theatre a little late”. People can also be detained in hospital or detained by the police for questioning.
I’m not convinced that being held at gunpoint by a crazed member of the Religion of Peace who was screaming things like “f***ing Jews” and “we should kill them all” really can be described as being “detained”. But this is just another example of BBC bias.
Years of BBC bias?
Of course we all know the BBC has been biased for years. It has consistently been anti-British, pro-EU, anti-Semitic, pro-immigration, anti-family, pro-single-sex and has relentlessly pumped out climate catastrophist propaganda. The years of BBC lies have been well documented in at least three books:
Is the BBC in breach of contract?
If I ever won the lottery, I would chuck a couple of million at investigating whether one could run a class action against the BBC for ‘Breach of Contract’.
My contention would be that when we pay the TV licence fee for BBC services, we are entering into a contract with the BBC for the BBC to provide its services as detailed in the BBC charter.
Section 4 of the BBC charter states: “The Agreement accompanying the BBC Charter requires us to do all we can to ensure controversial subjects are treated with due impartiality in our news and other output dealing with matters of public policy or political or industrial controversy”.
It goes on to state: “The BBC Agreement forbids our output from expressing the opinion of the BBC on current affairs or matters of public policy, other than broadcasting or the provision of online services”.
Clearly the BBC has failed to do that for years and therefore has been in Breach of Contract to licence-fee payers. I would contend therefore that the BBC should refund all licence fees collected for the years the BBC has failed to adhere to it impartiality requirement.
That would be rather amusing and quite interesting if the BBC lost the case.
On March 24. 2018, this proposal was sent to DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) requesting $14 million for Project Defuse – Defusing the Threat of Bat-borne Coronaviruses”.
(left-click on image, then left-click again to see more clearly)
As you’ll see this proposal comes from everybody’s friend and the world’s most trusted doctor – Dr. Peter Daszak of EcoHealth Alliance. The work would be carried out at three locations Palo Alto in the US and Kunming and Wuhan in China.
Here’s the letter which accompanied the request for $14m for Project Defuse:
(left-click on image, then left-click again to see more clearly)
Hopefully this makes it quite clear that EcoHealth Alliance were running projects playing around with and doing ‘gain of function’ experiments with bat-borne coronaviruses at Wuhan?
Think you’ll see these documents in our mainstream media?
I’m presenting these documents here because I don’t believe any of our mainstream media will go anywhere near them.
I’m not a crazed conspiracy theorist. But it’s absolutely clear that there is a conspiracy of silence about the origin of Covid-19 conducted by our rulers, the scientific community and the supinely obedient mainstream media. There seems to be no curiosity at all in how the greatest disaster to strike humanity since WWII originated.
Even worse, there has been a two-year campaign of disinformation run by our leading ‘scientists’, various supposedly ‘scientific’ journals like The Lancet and the big tech companies to cover up Covid-19’s origins and to brand anyone suggesting a lab leak as dangerous and deranged conspiracy theorists and to silence them using threats to their careers and censoring their views.
Never in human history have so many been lied to so blatantly by their rulers. Or maybe I’m wrong. After all, the whole supposed catastrophic man-made climate change crisis may be an even bigger scandal than the 5 to 10 million killed by the Wuhan lab-leak?
Millions of families in England will be dragged into fuel poverty overnight when energy bills soar this April, research has found.
The number of households who will find them unaffordable is to treble to 6.3 million when the price cap lifts, according to the Resolution Foundation.
It said this meant more than a quarter of households would suffer “fuel stress”, the definition of fuel poverty in England, which means having to spend at least 10 per cent of family budgets on energy bills.
We’ll be told by our net-zero-obsessed rulers that higher energy bills are out of their control as they are a result of the world’s economic recovery following the devastation of the Chinese Wuhan lab-leaked plague. So, higher energy bills will be spun by our rulers as a positive sign of growing world economies.
But I’d like to offer a slightly different explanation
Subsidising the economically preposterous?
Here’s a table from a recent report from the ludicrously misnamed Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR). It lists the various levies which are added on to our power bills:
(left-click on the image and then left-click again to see more clearly)
These levies are intended to subsidise supposedly ‘renewable’ energy because, without these levies, most renewables would make absolutely no economic sense at all.
In 2020/21 we paid £11.2 billion in environmental levies. Assuming there are around 30 million households in the UK, that’s about £373 per household – over a third of the average household energy bill of £1,042 (in 2021). The OBR forecasts that by 2026/27, these environmental levies will reach £14.1 billion – around £470 per household.
I ain’t no mathematical genius. But it does seem to me that the constant rise in environmental levies now at £373 per household and headed towards £470 per household might conceivably be part of the cause of our ever-rising electricity bills.
And here, from my book THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS, is how all these extra environmental levies have been increasing over the years in Germany:
It seems that all Western countries are following the same path to self-inflicted economic ruin by raising energy prices to supposedly ‘go green’.
When I wrote THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS, in a chapter about the West’s economic suicide, I pointed out that energy prices in the West were about 4 to 5 times as high as in countries like Russia, China, India, Vietnam etc:
I guess that with the recent price rises and ever-increasing green levies, households and industry in the West are now paying close to ten times as much for their energy as our friends in China, Russia, India etc. Unfortunately for us, our net-zero-brained politicians and mainstream media eco-idiots don’t seem to understand that this is economic lunacy.
We’re so generous
Not only are we in the UK all forking out about £373 per household to pay for the net-zero ‘renewable’ energy scam, but we’re also showering money on other countries so they can supposedly ‘fight catastrophic climate change’. In the period 2015/16 to 2020/21, we paid over £7 billion in “UK Climate Finance” to corrupt, Third-world kleptocrats to help them battle the effects of man-made climate change. This is in addition to the £12 billion or so a year we shove into Third-world kleptocrats’ offshore bank accounts in ‘foreign aid’.
Moreover, the UK is planning to give another £11.6 billion in “UK Climate Finance” over the period 2021/22 to 2025/26 to Third-world crooks as part of the UK’s contribution under the Paris Climate Agreement. Did your government forget to tell you how generous it was being with your money?
I wonder whether, at the end of this, there will be a single dam or breakwater or flood defence or solar farm or windfarm or anything similar in any Third-world country as a result of our generosity? Or will we find (yet again and again and again) to our utter astonishment that all the tens of billions we have showered on the most corrupt people on the planet have all mysteriously disappeared or been used to build palaces or buy fleets of Mercedes or purchase weapons enabling Third-world despots to oppress their people while they loot their countries?
Trust, once lost, can never fully be restored
And, on a completely different subject, here’s another excoriating evisceration of our lying, self-serving, narcissistic, incompetent rulers from Neil Oliver on GB News:
First, I’d like to thank a reader for alerting me to the following quote from the TV series Yes Minister: “No one really understands the true nature of fawning servility until he has seen an academic who has glimpsed the prospect of money.”
This pretty much sums up how our supposed ‘scientists’ are prostituting themselves to the highest bidder.
On the same subject, here’s an excellent article from the Daily Mail journalist Ian Birrell. While almost every other journalist deftly avoids any criticism of China and any suggestion that the Chinese plague accidentally leaked from a Wuhan lab, Birrell has tenaciously followed the lab leak theory. But in this article, he examines the intellectual honesty of our leading prostitutes (sorry, I obviously meant ‘scientists’)
Yesterday I was, as one does, pondering the world situation over several vodka cocktails. And I came up with a possible analogy explaining why the West is losing to both Russia and China. Like all analogies, this is a simplification. But it may also help partially explain the West’s declining influence in the world.
My proposition is that the leaders of the West, Russia and China are playing completely different games.
The West’s “Draughts” (checkers in the US)
The West’s leaders are playing draughts – a simple game with simple moves which requires little strategic or long-term planning. You make a move, your opponent makes their move, you respond and so on. A simple, binary and short-term approach to internal policies and international relations
Russia’s “Chess”
Putin’s Russia, on the other hand is playing chess – a more complex game in which successful players think many moves ahead, have a strategic plan and will even make sacrifices to lull their opponent into mistakes which can then be exploited.
For example, Putin has played a blinder with Russian gas supplies. For years, Putin dismissed man-made climate change as nonsense. Then suddenly he seemed to change his mind and claimed to be an avid believer. If I remember correctly, at the time Russia was closing down many of its old Soviet coal-fired power stations and replacing them with gas-fired power. So, Russia would have reduced its CO2 emissions anyway. Putin’s agreement to CO2 reductions encouraged Western leaders to go faster with their ludicrous net-zero policies closing down cheap reliable power stations and replacing them with expensive unreliable wind and solar. Moreover, the crazed Angela Merkel shut down Germany’s nuclear power industry following the Japanese Fukushima tsunami. Merkel seemed to be unaware that Germany is largely land-locked and there are no tsunamis in Germany. Maybe someone should have bought Merkel an atlas?
As this year’s energy crisis hit Europe, Europeans suddenly realised to their surprise that they were dependent on Mr Putin’s goodwill to keep European lights on, their homes warm and industry functioning.
This strategic chess move by Putin completely blindsided the West’s useless draughts-playing leaders and has left them powerless to stop Russia’s expansionist ambitions. If they upset Putin, he can close down much of Western Europe’s economy.
China’s “Go”
I’m not familiar with the Chinese game “Go”. So here (in blue) is a description from Wikipedia:
Go or Weiqi, Weichi is an abstract strategy board game for two players in which the aim is to surround more territory than the opponent. The game was invented in China more than 2,500 years ago and is believed to be the oldest board game continuously played to the present day.
The playing pieces are called stones. One player uses the white stones and the other, black. The players take turns placing the stones on the vacant intersections (points) of a board. Once placed on the board, stones may not be moved, but stones are removed from the board if the stone (or group of stones) is surrounded by opposing stones on all orthogonally adjacent points, in which case the stone is captured.[4] The game proceeds until neither player wishes to make another move. When a game concludes, the winner is determined by counting each player’s surrounded territory along with captured stones and komi (points added to the score of the player with the white stones as compensation for playing second).[5] Games may also be terminated by resignation.
Despite its relatively simple rules, Go is extremely complex. Compared to chess, Go has both a larger board with more scope for play and longer games and, on average, many more alternatives to consider per move. The number of legal board positions in Go has been calculated to be approximately 2.1×10170,[11][a] which is vastly greater than the number of atoms in the observable universe, estimated to be of the order of 108
While the West’s leaders only think a few months ahead and Putin’s Russia is thinking in terms of years, our Chinese Communist Party (CCP) friends have a long-term plan for total world domination within the next fifty to one hundred years. Every major Chinese company has CCP members on its board and follows a long-term strategy dictated by the CCP:
they have been working to make Western economies totally dependent on China by, for example, cornering the world’s supply of rare earth metals, dropping prices when challenged in order to bankrupt any Western competitors
becoming one of the world’s major sources of microchips on which most Western industry is now dependent
using the Belt and Road initiative to monopolise the world’s trade routes and ports
handing over huge, unrepayable loans to corrupt Third-world politicians in order to take control of vital assets in those countries. The CCP has basically bought Barbados for about $500m and now Sri Lanka is bankrupt and unable to repay interest on its loans from China. So we can expect a CCP takeover there. Pakistan is also in hock to the CCP as are many other countries. The CCP even controls vast tracts of agricultural land in countries across the world, water rights in parts of Australia and much of New Zealand’s economy
when the Wuhan Chinese plague was unleashed on the world, the only country capable of supplying all the PPE and test kits which were so desperately needed was China
taking control of many of the world’s international organisations either using corrupt Third-world proxies as at the ludicrously misnamed World Health Organisation or by ensuring Chinese officials were appointed as at Interpol. Though, if I remember correctly, the guy running Interpol was arrested and charged with corruption during a visit to China. Maybe he was corrupt? Or maybe he had been insufficiently enthusiastic about obeying his CCP bosses’ demands to use Interpol’s resources to crack down on Chinese dissidents living abroad? Who knows?
Why no demands for reparations?
In any normal situation, you would expect our Western rulers to be demanding answers as to how the Covid-19 plague started. There was one bleat from Australian PM Scott Morrison. The CCP immediately punished Australia by banning coal and beef imports from Australia and putting tariffs on some other products (like wine) from Australia.
But apart from Scott Morrison’s comments, our rulers have been strangely reluctant to probe Covid-19’s origins.
Moreover, if Covid-19 was caused by a Chinese lab leak, which the CCP then covered up with the supine obedience of the utterly corrupt World Health Organisation, you might expect our rulers to impose massive tariffs on Chinese products as a form of reparations for the damage caused to our economies. But the West is now so dependent on China that no Western leader dares risking upsetting the CCP.
In the game of world domination the CCP is clearly playing a different, more strategic, more complex and more long-term game than Russia and the West and that’s why the CCP is winning.
Finally, more than two years into the Chinese Wuhan lab-leaked plague, I actually know someone who has been infected. The person is a 62-year-old man in reasonably good health after having lost a lot of weight due to a rather punitive diet. He had been on a 3-week holiday in a country in the Far East known for offering several hedonistic pleasures. After a few nights propping up local bars in his final week’s holiday, he woke up with a sore throat and a hoarse voice. These symptoms lasted for about 24 hours. I believe he assumed this mild inconvenience was the result of overindulging in several bars over several nights. It was only when he had to take a PCR test as a condition of returning to the UK that he found out he had contracted Omicron.
The result was that he had to spend another 3 or 4 days in his hotel, feeling perfectly fine, till he tested negative before taking his flight.
Lie, exaggerate, lie, exaggerate?
I ain’t no doctor, but I believe that if you caught the Black Death or the 1918 Spanish Flu, you definitely knew you were ill. But with the Omicron variant of the Chinese Wuhan plague, the effects are either so mild or non-existent for most people (except the medically vulnerable) that they don’t even know they are ill until rubbishy, unreliable (mostly Made in China) tests tell them they are ill.
The failure of Omicron to be as deadly as they had hoped seems to have posed a bit if a problem for the Project Fear ‘lockdown-everything’, ‘vaccinate everybody’ fanatics. All the evidence from South Africa suggested that Omicron was either asymptomatic or else gave symptoms similar to a mild bronchial infection. Moreover, there was clear evidence that Omicorn wasn’t leading to any huge rise in hospitalisations.
The Project Fear lockdown and vaccination fanatics resorted to several tactics to keep their Project Fear going. One was to claim that as South Africa had a younger population than the UK, Omicron could still be catastrophic in the UK. This conveniently ignored the fact that vaccination rates in the UK were much higher than in South Africa.
Another tactic was to deliberately lie to our politicians and the public about Omicron to suggest the danger to the UK was much more serious than it actually was. I believe a certain lady, who has just been elevated to the Lords presumably for her services to Project Fear, has recently been caught out lying twice.
The Bonking Boffin, Professor Neil Ferguson, also chipped in with his contribution. I thought the guy had been fired from SAGE following his well-publicised cross-London sexual antics during lockdowns that he supported. But like a bad dose of Athletes Foot, the guy keeps returning. From what little I understand he overestimated the likely number of Omicron hospitalisations by a factor of more than ten times. I think he achieved this feat of statistical nonsense by using Omicron’s increased infectivity compared to Delta while using Delta’s rates of hospitalisations and ignoring the data from South Africa about Omicron’s much lower hospitalisation rates.
What is a Covid death?
And then we have the problem that the method of reporting supposed Covid deaths has also been statistical nonsense.
There were 689,629 deaths in the UK in 2020, compared with 604,707 in 2019. Between 2003 and 2011, the annual number of deaths in the UK fell from 612,085 to just over 552,232. Since 2011 however, the annual number of annual deaths in the United Kingdom has steadily grown. So the increase in deaths from the last pre-Covid year (2019) to 2020 was about 85,000. The number of deaths in 2021 seems to be around the average for 2018 and 2019, but I haven’t found the exact figure. Moreover, as I’m sure you all know, if you die in hospital from cancer or heart failure or whatever, if you have tested positive for the Chinese plague within the last 28 days, your death is recorded as being ‘with Covid’ which is totally misleading and obviously hugely exaggerates the real number of Chinese plague deaths.
Covid has exposed how we have been lied to by the establishment, including our politicians of all political parties and it now seems our scientists. Modellers have also been economical with the truth in order to conjure up the worst possible scenarios to whip up fear and ensure compliance with rules which the PM and his advisers seem have to have ignored in various ways and not just parties.
Worse the media and especially the BBC went along with this version of the “truth” and defended the lies and sophistry.
Our ‘scientists’ knew the truth about Wuhan all along
And now we’re slowly finding out that the world’s leading ‘scientists’ knew all along that the Chinese plague had leaked from a lab in Wuhan – either the Wuhan Institute of Virology or the Wuhan Centre for Disease Control. But in order to protect the reputation of science, they deliberately lied to us about Covid’s origin and branded anyone suggesting a lab leak as a crazed conspiracy theorist. Most shamefully, a group of them signed a letter in the once respected Lancet, ridiculing the lab leak theory when they all knew it was the most likely explanation.
This brings us to the question: what is the difference between a ‘scientist’ and a prostitute? The prostitute is honest about what services she or he will offer and how much each of those services will cost.
If our ‘scientists’ have deliberately lied and lied and exaggerated and lied to us about Covid, about the lab leak and about Omicron, why on earth should we believe anything these worthless, self-serving, grant-hungry, career-obsessed prostitutes masquerading as ‘scientists’ claim with their (lucrative for them) catastrophic climate change hoax?
Is GB News is the only news channel we can trust?
Throughout the whole mess of lies and exaggeration from politicians, self-prostituting ‘scientists’ and the media, only GB News seems to have come out of this with some honour. Figures like Nigel Farage, Neil Oliver, Dan Wootton, Andrew Doyle and Marc Dolan have provided us with superb reporting while the rest of the mainstream media have lied and lied and exaggerated and lied:
The inevitable results of one-party communist states?
Today I’d like to propose that three disasters – Chernobyl, the Kursk submarine in 2000 and the lab-leak of the Wuhan plague in 2019 are all caused by exactly the same three features which are pervasive in one-party, totalitarian communist states:
slovenliness and corruption at all levels
an oppressive closed system preventing problems being recognised and reported
the authorities always try to cover up the disaster
Before I get going, I’ll just remind you of the details of the Kursk mess as these are probably less familiar than the disasters of Chernobyl and the Chinese Wuhan plague.
The Kursk submarine disaster
The nuclear-powered Project 949A Antey (Oscar II class) submarine Kursk sank when a new experimental (and dangerously unstable) torpedo exploded on 12 August 2000 in the Barents Sea during the first major Russian naval exercise in more than 10 years, and all 118 personnel on board were killed. The crews of nearby ships felt the initial explosion and a second, much larger, explosion, but the Russian navy did not realise that an accident had occurred and did not initiate a search for the sub for more than six hours. Because the submarine’s emergency rescue buoy had been intentionally disabled during an earlier mission, more than 16 hours were needed to locate the sunken boat.
Over four days, the Russian Navy repeatedly failed in its attempts to attach four different diving bells and submersibles to the escape hatch of the submarine. Its response was criticised as slow and inept. Officials misled and manipulated the public and news media, and refused help from other countries’ ships nearby. President Vlad ‘the impaler’ Putin initially continued his vacation at a seaside resort; he authorised the Russian Navy to accept British and Norwegian offers of assistance after five days had passed since the accident. Seven days after the sinking, British and Norwegian divers finally opened a hatch to the escape trunk in the boat’s flooded ninth compartment, but found no survivors
Feature 1 – Slovenliness and corruption at all levels
In totalitarian communist systems there is seldom any sense of people having pride in the quality of their work. Instead, most people seem to spend their time cutting corners and playing the system for their personal comfort or gain. Most workers will do the minimum real work in order to make their own lives easier, most materials and products will be substandard and in most transactions, people involved will be taking a cut for themselves.
I suspect that the management at Chernobyl was lazy and ineffective. We know the new experimental torpedoes loaded onto the Kursk were poorly welded and contained unstable chemicals. And just a few months before the Wuhan plague lab leak, American diplomats who visited the Wuhan Institute of Virology reported back that the supposed level-4 biosecurity facility was dirty, unhygienic, badly-managed and that many staff had insufficient training. I also suspect that dangerous pathogens were being experimented with at the level-2 biosecurity Wuhan Centre for Disease Control.
Feature 2 – An oppressive closed system preventing problems being recognised and reported
I suspect that there were operating problems at Chernobyl long before the final disaster. But in a closed, oppressive, totalitarian system where the Party is always right and any criticism of any institution is immediately branded as criticism of the Party, there was probably no mechanism for Chernobyl workers to report any concerns. Similarly, people working with the Kursk’s new experimental torpedoes knew they were unstable and liable to overheat and explode. But this information was never allowed to reach anyone who could have taken action. And, we all saw what happened to the Chinese hospital doctor who first reported the emergence of a new disease in Wuhan.
Feature 3 – The authorities always try to cover up the disaster
When Chernobyl caught fire, the Soviet authorities tried to deny there was any problem and tried to cover up the scale of the disaster. With the Kursk torpedo exploding, the Russians refused the help of specialist ships with Norwegian and British rescue workers for several days. Instead the Russians tried to use their own badly-maintained and defective rescue equipment. When the Russians finally relented and allowed the Norwegian and British specialists to intervene, it was too late and the submarine crew, who had survived the initial torpedo explosions, had died from lack of air. As for the Wuhan lab-leak, the Chinese have ensured that the truth will never be discovered and have been helped in their cover-up by the craven and utterly corrupt Chinese-controlled World Health Organisation (WHO).
Democratic societies with their checks and balances
While we in the West are far from perfect, our more open societies mean that there tends to be less corruption, that problems can be reported and that there are often regulatory agencies who can help avoid disaster – there were no deaths at Three Mile Island, 31 died directly in the Chernobyl disaster and the U.N. estimated about another 4,000 suffered serious radiation poisoning. I doubt the Royal Navy would have dared load highly unstable experimental torpedoes onto one of its nuclear-powered submarines as someone would have reported the issues with the torpedoes. And I think we can be sure that if Gro Brundtland who served three terms as the 29th prime minister of Norway and as the director-general of the World Health Organization from 1998 to 2003 had still been running the WHO in 2019, the organisation would have acted much more quickly to contain the Chinese plague.
What new disasters are coming our way?
So, my hypothesis is that Chernobyl, Kursk and Wuhan are not isolated incidents. Instead, they are the inevitable results of the way one-party, totalitarian, communist societies operate.
As the West’s influence around the world diminishes and China’s and Russia’s influence increases, we can expect more disasters like Chernobyl, Kursk and Wuhan. Some are easy to spot now. For example, it’s clear that Chinese dams being built on the upper parts of the Mekong river will affect water flows and fish migration in countries like Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam:
Maybe Chinese greed will end up making the Mekong Delta just as wonderful as Russian corruption, stupidity and greed made the now dead, but once thriving, Aral Sea?
Around 60 million people rely on the Mekong for food and water.
It’s also clear that vast fleets of Chinese fishing vessels will plunder most of the world’s fish stocks impoverishing fishing communities around the world. There’s probably some U.N. body supposedly regulating fishing. But this is no doubt stuffed with corrupt Third-worlders and controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) so will be just as useless as the WHO.
There will be other such disasters coming our way. We don’t yet know what they are. But they will all be a result of the three main features of one-party, corrupt, totalitarian communist systems:
slovenliness and corruption at all levels
an oppressive closed system preventing problems being recognised and reported
the authorities always try to cover up the disaster
Below are just a small sample of the comments made by Times readers to an article about tennis player Novak Djokovic being denied access to Australia to play in the Australian Open which he has won about 9 times.
– Great decision to deport NoVax
– Bye bye entitled bar steward. Australia is far better off without you.
– Well done, the Victoria State & Australian Government Authorities ! Clearly, the arrogant, self-indulgent Djokovic believed (not for the first time) that he was above the Law or ordinary, sensitive, Covid Norms….
– Nasty little man
– Never liked him
– No loss, there’s plenty of other able players
– Just call him an universal d!ckhead
– There’s a word starting with C that better describes him, and it’s not Croat
– His body a temple, his brain a pimple
– Absolutely correct, well done. Clearly a irresponsible narcissistic half wit. Should face permanent ban. Advertisers should stop sponsorship
– Absolutely the right decision. He thinks he is above the law. He is a bad sport on the court and off the court. A discredit to tennis. I don’t care how good he is at the technical aspect of the game
– Wham! Got him right in the wallet! Good job Oz
A serious newspaper?
The Times is supposed to be one of the world’s leading newspapers. And the only people allowed to comment on articles are those with a paid subscription – serious readers. So, you might have expected the standards of readers’ comments to be reasonably high compared to other newspapers. Instead, we get the garbage I have quoted above.
There are two issues these comments bring up:
Issue 1 – Why so bitter?
Although tennis just involves hitting a soft ball over a net, it is an incredibly demanding sport. To be able to keep serving at over 100 mph and keep returning shots for two or even three hours is an extraordinary feat of physical endurance. And Djokovic is one of the world’s greatest athletes.
I obviously don’t know what the people commenting on the Times website have achieved in their lives. But I suspect most have achieved rather less than Novak Djokovic.
He may not have the charm of a Federer, but that is hardly a reason for readers of a supposedly serious newspaper to call him a ‘nasty little man’ and a ‘d!ckhead’ and a ‘c*nt’.
As for the idiot who wrote: “Wham! Got him right in the wallet! Good job Oz” – Djokovic is worth over $220m so I rather doubt he’ll miss the couple of million he could have won in Australia.
Issue 2 – Why so ignorant?
When I heard Djokovic was possibly concerned about vaccination, unlike many Times readers, my first reaction wasn’t to start hurling abuse at him. Instead, I looked at the possible reasons he might have to reject vaccination.
The obvious first reason may be the fact that even the Chinese-run, ludicrously misnamed World Health Organisation (WHO) has confirmed that the mRNA vaccines have resulted in many cases of inflammation of the heart muscles:
The COVID-19 subcommittee of the WHO Global Advisory Committee on Vaccine Safety (GACVS) issued a statement regarding reports of myocarditis and pericarditis following COVID-19 mRNA vaccines (1). Cases of myocarditis and pericarditis, although rare, have occurred more often in younger men (adolescents or young adults) and after the second dose, typically within a few days after vaccination with the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. As of June 2021, US VAERS surveillance data estimated crude reporting rates of 40.6 cases per million second doses among males and 4.2 cases per million among females aged 12-29 years (2). Current evidence suggests a likely causal association between myocarditis and the mRNA vaccines.
This inflammation seems to last for about 2 to 3 months. Most vaccinated people won’t notice this as they seldom put their heart under great strain. But for professional athletes like Djokovic, this could be fatal and over 100 young athletes have have suffered heart problems (and in some cases died) following mRNA vaccinations. Moreover, Djokovic would have access to medical advice from the world’s leading doctors and so probably knows slightly more about the possible side-effects of mRNA vaccines than most Times readers.
Why mention this?
I’m not taking a stance on whether Djokovic should or shouldn’t be vaccinated r whether he should or shouldn’t be allowed to play in Australia. I merely thought these readers’ comments were interesting in the way they reveal how low the level of public debate has sunk. Nowadays, people no longer seem able to see both sides of an argument to try to arrive at a balanced, informed conclusion. Instead they instinctively lash out with furious insults, usually based on total ignorance.
If you don’t grovellingly prostrate yourself to the accepted woke BBC/Guardian politically-correct, supposedly ‘progressive’, libtard narrative on every issue, there is no discussion. Instead you’re immediately branded a ‘homophobe’ or a ‘denier’ or an ‘anti-vaxxer’ or a ‘racist’ or a ‘fascist’ or other such insults. Moreover, failure to comply with the ‘progressive’ orthodoxy can get you cancelled and even destroy your career.
It seems people are incapable of reasoned discussion any more. They just hurl abuse and threats and send the cyber-pitchfork-wielding, witch-hunting mob to lynch you.
No wonder the West is falling apart while the Chinese take over the world.
Why can nobody take a balanced view?
A couple of hours after writing this, I noticed that most UK newspapers have decided to launch anti-Djokovic tirades to insult and ridicule the Serb. As far as I can see, in the mainstream media’s ‘let’s see who can kick Djokovic hardest’ competition, not a single supposed ‘journalist’ has chosen to mention the very real risk of heart problems for professional athletes following mRNA vaccinations.
You probably know that one of the greatest problems the NHS had long before we’d ever heard of the Wuhan lab-leaked plague was the issue of bed-blockers: “Delayed transfers of care” – often known as “bed blocking” meant hospitals were unable to discharge patients into the community. December 2019 saw 148,000 delayed days across England, 15% higher than the same month a year earlier.
Sajid ‘the destroyer’ Javid’s first big idea – wreck care homes
No problem when you have someone as smart as dome-headed Sajid ‘the destroyer’ Javid taking over as Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. The dome-headed destroyer’s first significant action was to mandate that all front-line workers in care homes must be double-jabbed against the Chinese plague by November 2021.
The result? Around 40,000 care workers – about 7% of the care home workforce – lost their jobs. This will, ‘as any fule kno’, reduce the number of places in care homes and hugely increase the problem of bed-blocking in the NHS just when we face a winter hospital beds WuFlu crisis.
Well done Sajid. You’re really making your mark.
Sajid ‘the destroyer’ Javid’s next big idea – wreck the NHS
The dome-headed destroyer’s next act of genius is that all front-line NHS staff must be ‘fully vaccinated’ by April 2022 or else they get fired too. I’m not sure what ‘fully vaccinated’ now means – whether it’s just two jabs or whether it’s two jabs plus a booster or whatever.
Anyway, the result looks like the NHS losing somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 front-line staff. Perhaps Javid and the Rolls-Royce brains of his civil servants haven’t quite realised that losing 50,000 to 100,000 NHS staff might possibly reduce the NHS’s capacity to treat patients?
When the facts change, our politicians never change policy
I realise that the mandatory vaccinations policy was formulated at a time when the dominant Chinese plague variant was the Delta version which (unlike most things ‘Made in China’) was actually rather effective. It killed people by destroying their lungs. From my incredibly limited understanding of epidemiology, viruses which kill their hosts tend not to survive very long. So viruses tend to mutate into more infectious but less deadly versions. That seems to have happened with the Wuhan lab-leaked plague. The Omicron variant is now the dominant variant (over 90% of cases?) and attacks mainly the bronchial tract causing a form of (usually non-fatal) bronchitis and so is considerable less deadly than previous lung-destroying variants.
This significant change in the virus leads me to the famous quote by economist John Maynard Keynes:
Moreover, we now know that the ‘miracle vaccines’ weren’t quite so ‘miraculous’ after all as they hardly prevent people getting the Chinese plague and their effectiveness at avoiding serious illness declines after just a few months.
The facts have clearly changed. The Chinese plague is now considerably less dangerous and the vaccines’ efficacy was hugely over-hyped.
So, what will Sajid ‘the dome-headed destroyer’ Javid do?
Will he sensibly accept that the facts have changed and rescind his mandatory vaccination policies for front-line workers in social care and the NHS? Or will he press on with wrecking both social care and the NHS as he won’t want to be seen to have changed his mind?
Kakistocrats rule
Sadly for us, for social care and for the NHS, Sajid Javid comes from a different generation than people like Keynes. Previous generations of politicians and civil servants were often people with strong moral principles who were man enough (and woman enough, of course) to admit that changing circumstances might require changes in policies. But today’s generation of politicians don’t appear to have any principles and their only goal is self-advancement, self-enrichment and self-aggrandisement.
So, even though the facts have clearly changed, it would probably be naive of us to expect the dome-headed destroyer to drop his (now clearly unnecessary) mandatory vaccination policies for care workers and the NHS. After all, Javid will feel that the risk of him losing face and possibly having his career damaged over being accused of a u-turn by the howling media mob is much more important than the thousands of lives which will be lost as our care services and NHS collapse due to Javid-induced staff shortages.
Dan Dare’s arch-enemy – the Sajid-Javid-lookalike evil Mekon – never succeeded in doing as much damage as today’s dome-headed destroyer Sajid Javid. Apparently arrogance and incompetence are often more destructive than evil:
Some readers might find this amusing. This link features some charts showing the useless liars’ at SAGE’s predictions for the effects of the Chinese lab-leaked plague and what actually happened.
The supposed ‘experts’ at SAGE lied and lied and lied and lied to keep us cowering terrified in our homes and to bludgeon us into taking their largely untested supposed ‘vaccines’ while they destroyed the economy just to get more power for themselves to boost their own positions and their worthless egos.
Would you buy a second-hand car from any of these three?
