Let’s start in Pakistan. After a plane crash in 2020, an investigation revealed that more than 30% of civilian pilots in Pakistan had fake licenses and were not qualified to fly, Addressing Pakistan’s National Assembly, Ghulam Sarwar Khan the cesspit’s aviation minister said 262 pilots in the country “did not take the exam themselves” and had paid someone else to sit it on their behalf. Pakistan has 860 active pilots serving its domestic airlines – including the country’s Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flagship – as well as a number of foreign carriers, Khan said.
I suspect that if you looked at any other area of qualification in rotten Crapistan – doctors, engineers or whatever – you’d get similar results. Qualifications in Crapistan are often obtained by bribery, cheating and, in the case of attractive females by providing sexual services to teachers and examiners.
Crapistan is number 140 out of 180 countries on Transparency International’s Corruption Index. Denmark and Finland are ranked as the least corrupt countries with the UK coming in an number 11 – around the same level as countries like Germany, Austria and Canada.
India – almost as rotten as Pakistan?
That brings us to Pakistan’s neighbour – India. India is where our eminent Prime Minister’s family originally came from I believe. India is at number 85 on Transparency International’s Corruption Index – close to countries like Belarus, Colombia and Ethiopia. So, India is considerably less corrupt than Pakistan. But it’s not the kind of place where honesty is key to success.
Our Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak was a founding partner of Theleme Partners and one of the executives managing its US office. He left the firm in 2013, returning to the UK to pursue his political career.
The Guardian reported that: ‘It is not known whether Sunak retained any investment in the Theleme fund after leaving. Theleme is registered in the Cayman Islands, a tax haven which does not make company records public. Ordinarily, a partner in a hedge fund would own a stake in the management company and have money invested in its fund.’
A standard rule of investment, I think, is that one should have a diversified portfolio in order to be shielded from share price collapses in any one sector. And you certainly wouldn’t have more than say 10% in just one company. But Theleme Partners has a massive 34.63% of its money in just one company – Moderna – a leading supplier of mRNA vaccines.
Theleme’s next largest stake is 29.42% in Wells Fargo Company. But after that, no other company represents more than 7.8% of Theleme’s holdings and most are around just 4% to 5%.
So Theleme has more than 64% of its money in just two companies. That’s not very diversified. In fact, a cynic might be tempted to suspect that an investment company would only have such a concentrated portfolio if it either had inside knowledge about or the ability to influence the share prices of its main holdings.
In December 2022 it was announced that Moderna and the UK government have entered a ten-year strategic collaboration to build a messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) research, development and manufacturing facility in the country. The latest development comes after the parties announced an agreement in principle in June this year.
Moderna has, if I remember correctly, done similar deals with the Australian and Canadian governments.
The Moderna Innovation and Technology Centre (MITC) in the UK is expected to offer access to a locally produced future mRNA vaccine portfolio against respiratory viruses, subject to regulatory evaluation and licensure. The vaccine manufacturing facility will also offer National Health Service (NHS) patients access to the company’s Covid-19 vaccines that can provide protection against various variants.
The Guardian reported that: ‘Sunak declared in the list of ministers’ interests that he was the beneficiary of a blind trust. The contents of the trust have not been disclosed to the public.’
I guess Moderna must be a pretty smart investment for those in the know. After all, soon you won’t be allowed to work, travel, study in school or university or even leave your home unless you can prove you’ve had the latest round of Moderna mRNA fake (and potentially dangerous) supposed ‘vaccines’.
By the way, Moderna’s stock-market listing code is MRN. Looks somewhat to mRNA as in mRNA vaccines? What a coincidence.
If Sunak’s blind trust happens to still have money in Cayman Islands-based Theleme Partners with their massive investment in Moderna, who seem to have become the main supplier of largely untested and potentially harmful vaccines to several governments, then it would seem that Mr Sunak is a very lucky man!
One thing you might notice is that many of the better articles on sites like The Daily Sceptic and ConservativeWoman are written by experts in their fields who are now retired. Being retired, they’re not risking losing their jobs if attacked by the cyber-pitchfork wielding woke Twitter mobs. One thing I respect about Neil Oliver is that he dares to speak out about what he believes is the truth knowing full well that this probably means career suicide in that it is unlikely he will ever be commissioned to present any more TV documentaries as his views are probably unacceptable to the progressive, liberal, woke establishment which runs the media, academia, politics and most of our government services.
(apologies for descending to using playground insults like the word ‘morons’. But how else could you describe our rulers’ determination to wreck the UK economy with their ludicrous ‘net zero’ policies as they fight a supposed demon – man-made climate change – which isn’t even happening?
The Tories are morons
Here’s a nice picture:
It’s Tory MP Chris Skidmore signing the legislation committing the UK to net zero economic suicide by 2050.
Labour are morons
Here’s another nice picture:
It’s Labour leader and our next prime minister at Davos promising to shut down all North Sea oil and gas exploration to help the UK achieve ‘net zero’.
The UK’s economic suicide
Here are three simple charts that even a politician should be able to understand.
The first one is the UK’s CO2 emissions from 1990 to 2020:
The second one is the number of manufacturing jobs in the UK:
The third one is the UK’s share of world GDP:
I would humbly suggest that the above three charts are linked
China is not ruled by morons
Here are just two charts from China.
The first is China’s CO2 emissions from 1960 to 2021:
The second is China’s share of world GDP:
I would humbly suggest that these two charts are linked.
In fact, I would humbly suggest all five charts are linked.
Apparently six Somali children have written an open letter to world leaders calling for action on climate change to end the drought ravaging their country.
Almost seven million of the east African nation’s population of 17m are facing acute food shortages. And some 1.8 million children are thought to be at risk of malnutrition, according to the United Nations:
I don’t mean to be hard-hearted, but as long as I can remember there have been droughts and food crises in Somalia.
So let’s briefly look at some facts the mainstream media always ‘forgets’ to report.
Fact 1 – Forestation levels
It seems that our highly intelligent Somali friends like cutting down trees. But some people might suggest that’s not a smart thing to do in a dry, arid country which risks being turned into a desert.
Fact 2 – Population
With Somalia’s constant droughts and hunger crisis, you’d expect the population to grow very slowly, if at all. Ooops, here’s what actually happened:
There seems to have been a more than slight increase in Somalis since records began around 1800 – from under 2 million to around 17 million.
Fact 3 – Rainfall
What about rainfall? Has supposed ‘climate change’ affected this?
There seem to have been some ups and downs – mainly influenced (if I remember correctly) by the strengths of the El Nino and La Nina weather systems.
Is there a link to atmospheric CO2 levels? Here’s a chart of atmospheric CO2 levels:
Can you spot any link between rainfall in Somalia and atmospheric CO2 levels? I can’t. In fact, looking at the rainfall chart, it would seem that rainfall levels have been more consistent each year since around 2000.
Is climate change to blame?
So, the question we can all ponder is: what is really causing drought, poverty and starvation in Somalia? Is it a lack of rainfall due to rising atmospheric CO2 levels as the climate catastrophists and the BBC keep claiming? Or could it have something to do with the fact that the country simply can’t support its fast-growing population?
I think I know the answer. But no doubt our useless government will give hundreds of millions of our money to utterly corrupt Somali politicians for ‘climate reparations’ to apologise for us supposedly causing famines in Somalia.
Unfortunately facts seem irrelevant when it comes to the climate catastrophist cult.
I recommend that readers sign up to the Daily Sceptic’s daily emailed newsletter. It’s free and, because it uses a wide range of writers, can cover more subjects in greater detail than I can. Plus it deals with the stories the mainstream media is terrified to mention.
We’re constantly being told that moving from fossil fuels to supposedly ‘renewable’ energy will create millions of ‘green jobs’. Well, here’s a nice picture of some of those ‘green jobs’:
Most of the ‘green jobs’ will be done by child (slave?) labour in Africa and South America digging up all the metals needed for the wind turbines, solar panels and electric milk carts pretending to be cars or else in Chinese factories producing the wind turbines, solar panels and batteries for electric vehicles.
Destroying the Earth in order to save it?
I found this series of tweets wandering around the Internet. It exposes the unbelievably vast amounts of mining and pollution that will be caused by ‘going green’.
(to see the image clearly, left-click on it and then left-click again)
The key part of the above tweets is the final one showing how much material has to be dug up to produce relatively small amounts of the metals the ‘Green Revolution’ will require.
Here’s a typical lithium mine:
It’s odd that our politicians and mainstream media and other climate-catastrophists never mention this environmental disaster which ‘going green’ is causing.
As 2023 gets going, I thought it would be useful for my readers if I provided a list of some of the most important LGBTQ+++ internationally-recognised holidays and awareness periods with explanations off what is being celebrated. Now you can all put these into your diary so you too can celebrate our gender fluidity:
Name
Date
Year Started
Notes
Agender Pride Day
19 May
2017
A day celebrated internationally[2][3] to promote awareness of agender individuals.[4]
14 February, The week following (Sunday-Saturday)[6]
2014
A week to promote information and awareness about aromantic spectrum identities (“a sexuality within the LGBTQIA+ community in which someone doesn’t experience romantic attraction.”[7]) and the issues they face.[8] This week was first recognized from 10 to 17 November 2014, under the name Aromantic Awareness Week. In 2015, it was moved to late February and the name was changed to Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week, to be more inclusive of all arospec identities.[9]
IAD is a coordinated worldwide campaign promoting the ace umbrella, including demisexual, grey-asexual and other ace identities.[10][11][12]The four themes of IAD are Advocacy, Celebration, Education and Solidarity.[13]
A day that aims to celebrate and recognize the drag art all around the world.[21] Created by Adam Stewart[22] in 2009 through his Facebook fan page[23] for drag queens.[24]
The International Day of Pink is a worldwide anti-bullying and anti-homophobia event[25] where participants are encouraged to wear or display a pink shirt, echoing a mass gesture of solidarity with a student subjected to homophobic bullying in Cambridge, Nova Scotia, Canada in 2007.
A day designed to raise awareness of the issues faced by intersex people. It marks the birthday of Herculine Barbin, a French intersex person. The event began as Intersex Solidarity Day, following an invitation issued by Joëlle-Circé Laramée, the then Canadian spokeswoman for Organization Intersex International.[28]
A day to celebrate the act of “coming out“, i.e. when an LGBT person decides to publicly share their gender identities or sexual orientation.[37] National Coming out Day was founded in the United States by gay rights activists Robert Eichberg and Jean O’ Leary on 1988 in Washington, DC, United States. By 1990 it was being celebrated in all 50 states.[38] Although still named “National Coming Out Day”, it is currently observed around the world, in countries such as Canada, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and Australia also on 11 October, and in the United Kingdom on 12 October.
Non-Binary Awareness Week
The week, starting Sunday[39]/Monday,[40] surrounding 14 July
A week dedicated to those who do not fit within the traditional gender binary,[43] i.e. those who do not exclusively identify as a man or a woman, or who may identify as both a man and a woman, or may fall outside of these categories altogether.[44] Promoted on Twitter as @NBWeek.[45]
A month to celebrate transgender and gender nonconforming communities and to raise awareness for this community through education and advocacy activities.
A day to celebrate the trans community in a positive light, celebrating their lives and cultural achievements. This observance date was founded in 2009 by transgender activist Rachel Crandall (Michigan, United States),[56] the head of Transgender Michigan,[57] as a reaction to the lack of a day celebrating transgender people.
A United Nations (UN) recognized day[62] promoting equality before the law, and in practice, throughout all of the member countries of the UN. This day was first celebrated by the UN on 1 March 2014, launch as part of the previous year’s Zero Discrimination campaign run by UNAIDS on World AIDS Day (1 December 2013).[63]
I’ll start with part of a comment made by a reader yesterday in response to my blog about the NHS hiring ever more DIE (Diversity, Inclusion and Equality) managers:
I think it means they want some long-haired, body-pierced, probably tattooed, preferably B, T or Q individual, whose sole ability is to bore a roomful of actual workers to death, to devise “seminars” utilising all the latest woke speak on “equality” and “diversity”, which hard-working and underpaid NHS actual workers – doctors, nurses, paramedics, porters, etc. – who together constitute the most culturally and racially diverse work force in the country and have worked happily together for years, will be compelled to attend, thus pulling them out of ambulances and off wards where they are already sorely overworked due to understaffing. You couldn’t make it up. I know the truth whereof I write, since several members of my family work in the NHS and have been compelled to waste their time attending such skill squandering events.
Just to add to this, I suspect that at these pointless ‘seminars’ all attendees will be coerced into admitting they have ‘unconscious bias’ against transpersons or people of colour or whatever other supposedly ‘oppressed minority’ is fashionable. Furthermore, I suspect that any medic failing to admit to their ‘unconscious bias’ will have this marked in their personnel records and may even find this limits their career development.
All a bit reminiscent of Mao’s China’s re-education sessions for bourgeois intellectuals?
The NHS’s Maternity Gender Inclusion Programme
This brings us to the NHS’s latest great idea – The Maternity Gender Inclusion Programme.
We all know there have been major problems at many NHS maternity units. Partly these have been due to a lack of midwives and partly due to mismanagement. The latest was the scandal at Shrewsbury and Telford hospital where over 200 babies and at least 9 mothers died due to poor care.
But worry you not. The NHS is taking action. Our envy-of-the-world NHS has found out that: “trans and non-binary birthing parents often concealed their gender or trans status in order to more safely navigate their care and to avoid transphobia“.
Now I’m a bit lost at this point. I admit that I don’t have any medical training. But I have a vague idea, based on my very limited practical experience, of which sex/gender can have babies and which can’t. Moreover, there’s a bit of a clue in the word ‘maternity’. There must be a reason they’re not called ‘paternity’ units. So I’m somewhat confused about why the NHS feels:
that there is a need for a Maternity Gender Inclusion Programme
that this no doubt wonderful programme is a priority for the NHS’s collapsing maternity services
Nevertheless, the Maternity Gender Inclusion Programme is to be rolled out nationwide with a focus on improving maternity care for pregnant transgender patients. Of course, I don’t know how many transgenders are pregnant. I suspect it’s not that many.
No doubt thousands of hours of valuable medics’ time will be wasted in absurd seminars in which attendees will be pressured into admitting they have “unconscious bias” against transgenders or else their careers will be damaged. I imagine these seminars will also cover woke shibboleths like micro-aggressions, white fragility/privilege, critical race theory, BLM, structural racism and any other progressive, politically-correct nonsense you can think of. Maybe they’ll even blame climate change for our failing maternity services?.
It’s quite interesting watching our society tear itself apart by committing cultural and economic suicide.
As another reader commented yesterday: “The problem with the NHS is the NHS”.

Hopefully all readers will fondly remember Cressida Dick. Dame Cressida Rose Dick DBE QPM is a British retired senior police officer who served as Commissioner of London’s Metropolitan Police from 2017 to 2022. She is both the first female and first openly homosexual officer to lead the Metropolitan Police Service, or the Met, in London. Dick joined the Met in 1983.
When appointed, New Met chief Cressida Dick reportedly said: “diversity is at the heart of her role“. In 2018, Dick launched a campaign to increase the proportion of female officers in the MPS. At the time, 27% of Met officers were women; Dick aimed to increase that figure to 50% over time, although she did not set a target date. Later she was quoted as saying: “We’re growing, we’re bigger, more capable, more diverse, more scrutinised and better equipped than ever before. The streets are safer and I’m proud of that.”
Despite the venerable Ms Dick claiming London streets were safer under her magnificent management, the crime figures recorded by the police told a different story:
You’ll see crime increased every year that Dick was in charge of the Met only dropping in 2020 when the lab-leaked Sino/American plague lockdowns were imposed.
Just in the year Cressida launched her campaign to increase the number of female policepersons, there was around a 20% increase in violent crime:
As is always the case in our useless public sector, Ms Dick got lots of gongs and stuff rewarding her failure:
From what I have read, Cressida herself ticked a few important diversity boxes: female – tick; lesbian – tick; married to a woman – tick. If only she had been black or Asian, she’d have had a ‘full house’. A cynic might be tempted to conclude that Cressida Dick was chosen for her diversity credentials and not for any ability to fight crime which increased inexorably under her watch. Cressida was eventually pushed to resign (with about £160,000 of our money plus a massive pension) after a series of blunders and scandals.
I made a short (2 minutes) YouTube video about Cressida Dick’s rise to fame and fortune:
NHS – Diversity more important than patient care?
This is the latest big boss at the NHS:
In my weekend blog about our collapsing NHS hiring ever more DIE (Diversity, Inclusion and Equality) managers, I featured a few job descriptions of these (IMHO) completely worthless individuals. Hopefully you noticed that the words ‘patient care’ are absent from these job vacancies. In fact, most focus on achieving the NHS’s DIE targets:
The post-holder will seek out and interpret national guidance and legislation relating to equality, diversity, and inclusion giving specialist advice to directors and managers, clinical leads and Board members to ensure due regard for equality and diversity in their ongoing work programmes
Working as part of the Workforce and OD Directorate and reporting into the Deputy Director of Workforce and OD, you will need to be passionate about developing a diverse and inclusive culture and have a value set that fits with our Trust and the NHS
You will lead on the development and implementation of the Trusts strategic EDI objectives ensuring the involvement of diverse groups and people with lived experience in the development and implementation of our plans
Not much focus on patients there.
But the greatest stupidity of the NHS’s current obsession with diversity is that in terms of the ethnicity of its workforce, the NHS is already more diverse than the UK population:
Of the NHS’s 1.3 million employees, 77.9% are white compared to 85.6% of the working-age population and 86% of the total population; 10.7% are Asian compared to 7.2% of the working-age population and 7.5% of the total population; and 6.5% are Black compared to only 3.4% of the working-age population and 3.3% of the total population
Among consultants 59.9% are White compared to 77.9% of NHS employees being White. A huge 29.1% are Asian compared to only 10.7% of NHS employees being Asian. And 2.9% are Black compared to 6.5% of NHS employees being Black. So, Asians are over-represented at this level while Blacks are under-represented.
History repeating itself?
Amanda Pritchard may turn out to be the best leader the NHS has ever had. She may well be relentlessly focused on cutting waiting lists and improving patient care. But looking at the number and type of DIE roles our crisis-hit NHS is currently advertising, a cynic might be forgiven for concluding that the Cressida Dick woke managerial car crash at the Met is now being repeated almost word for word in the increasingly woke NHS. Like the Met, the NHS could seem to be becoming a totally dysfunctional organisation which has forgotten why it exists. Like the Met, the NHS could seem to be spending more time obsessing about and woke-ifying its own internal organisation than on trying to deliver what it was set up to do.
I think we all can see what happens next. And it won’t be good for patients.
