Is Starmer just a typical lying liar of a lawyer?

Thursday blog

As pretty much everything our useless, 6th-form-politics, incompetent government can tax is being taxed and as most of those taxes are rising driving our country into a ‘made in Downing Street’ recession, a cynic might be tempted to wonder whether our Prime MInister – the ‘Right Honourable’ knight of the realm ‘Sir’ Keir Starmer – is just a congenital, recidivist, utterly shameless liar.

And here’s my evidence, M’lud, for casting aspersions on the ‘Right Honourable’ knight of the realm ‘Sir’ Keir Starmer’s somewhat tenuous (IMHO) relationship with the truth:

“We need to ban democracy to save democracy”

Tuesday-Wednesday blog

I must admit I never thought they would dare – banning Marine Le Pen – the probably winner of the next French presidential election from standing as a candidate. After all, I spent some time in Brussels researching and writing my book – THE GREAT EUROPEAN RIP-OFF – and can confirm that everybody in the EU Commission and EU supposed ‘Parliament’ is playing the system to fill their pockets at European taxpayers’ expense. Billions of EU taxpayers’ money goes missing every year and I think only about 3 or 4 people have been prosecuted in the last 20-30 years.

But, of course, Marine Le Pen is just the latest popular politician to be persecuted, excluded from power or even banned by Europe’s supposedly ‘liberal’ ruling elites.

Romania: In March 2025 Romanian far-right populist Calin Georgescu has lost his appeal against a ruling barring him from participating in May’s presidential election.

The Constitutional Court issued the final ruling after deliberating for two hours. It said the decision was unanimous. The Central Electoral Bureau had earlier rejected Georgescu’s candidacy for a rerun of the presidential election in May.

Georgescu had won the first round of last year’s presidential vote, but it was annulled after intelligence revealed Russia had been involved in setting up almost 800 TikTok accounts backing him. The election bureau said Georgescu’s candidacy did not “meet the conditions of legality”, as he “violated the very obligation to defend democracy“.

Moldova: In June 2023, the Constitutional Court in Moldova has ordered the immediate dissolution of pro-Russian party Sor. The court said that the party was “unconstitutional” and would be banned.

In March, Moldova’s police chief warned that Russian intelligence agencies had been using protests organised by Sor to try to destabilise the country. The Sor party is led by Ilan Shor, a fugitive businessman who fled to Israel in 2019 after being convicted of fraud and money-laundering.

Following the court ruling, Shor took to Facebook to claim that the move had “nothing to do with a rule-of-law state, democratic principles and values, the supremacy of laws and the constitution”.

Netherlands: On 4 September 2020, a Dutch court convicted Geert Wilders for group insults, following comments he made about Moroccans in the Netherlands. And in March 2024 Dutch anti-Islam populist leader Geert Wilders had to abandoned his bid to become prime minister, despite his party’s dramatic victory in the 2023 elections.

“I can only become prime minister if ALL parties in the coalition support it. That was not the case,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. His Freedom Party (PVV) won the most votes last year, but needed support of other parties to form a coalition.

Germany: In November 2024 113 lawmakers signed an application to ban the Alternativ für Deutschland (AfD), citing concerns over far-right AfD’s alleged anti-democratic behavior, anti-constitutional goals. Marco Wanderwitz, a conservative lawmaker from the center-right CDU, said their application has been submitted to the German parliament’s President Barbel Bas. He emphasized the urgency of the matter, citing the upcoming new election as a critical factor in the timing of this action.

Britain: Local elections in East Sussex, West Sussex, Essex, Thurrock, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Norfolk, Suffolk and Surrey will be delayed for at least one year (if they’re ever held at all) to allow major reorganisations to take place, Local Government Secretary Angela Rayner has said.

Speaking to Parliament, Rayner said the postponement would pave the way for a “generational power shift from Whitehall to the town hall”. She said that holding elections for authorities that were due to be scrapped would be “an expensive and irresponsible waste of taxpayers’ money”.

However, Conservative shadow minister Kevin Hollinrake said the “mass postponement” was a “worrying day for democracy”. Reform UK has launched a petition against the delay in elections, with leader Nigel Farage on X claiming that “Labour and the Tories have colluded to officially cancel over 5.5 million votes in May”. Speaking at a press conference in Westminster, he blamed the “cowardice of the existing political class” for the move.

America: And we mustn’t forget the four years during which activist Democrat judges launched a tsunami of lawsuits against Donald Trump to get him removed from the November 2024 elections and even imprisoned to try to prevent him running.

In all these cases, the ruling ‘liberal’ elites felt it was too dangerous to allow voters to decide who they wanted to elect.

After all, in today’s world where corrupt voter-despising politicians, unelected elitist judges and self-serving mostly incompetent bureaucrats keep grabbing ever more power, you have to ban democracy in order to save it.

Why are so many people so angry and bitter?

Sunday-Monday blog

I know readers don’t come to my blog to hear me moaning and complaining about my own unimpressive life. But I thought I might mention just one thing.

I wrote an article for THE DAILY SCEPTIC. The article was based on a blog I wrote a week or two ago and explained that the £3.25 billion of your money that Britain’s greatest ever female Chancellor had earmarked for cutting the cost of the public sector would almost certainly be wasted by civil service stupidity and incompetence and probably even lead to even higher public spending:

Why Britain Can Never Cut Public Spending

To write the blog and article I read a document put out by the Office for Value for Money (OVfM) (so you don’t have to) about how it intended to cut the cost of providing hotel accommodation for homeless Brits and all the engineers, doctors and scientists invading Britain across the Channel in spite of the Starmer/Cooper promises to “smash the evil people-smuggling gangs.” The OVfM was apparently set up by Reeves in October 2024 and from what little I understand it has been given about £3.25 billion of your taxes in order to save money.

I based my prediction of the OVfM achieving the square root of sweet Fanny Adams on the fact that during my working life I have been involved in helping design organisational improvement projects in almost 100 organisations in both the public and private sectors in 15 countries. So, perhaps immodestly, I considered that I had a bit of an idea of how the OVfM should have gone about its money-saving work.

When I get articles used by websites, I like reading the readers’ comments – not because I’m looking for praise for my obvious genius, but because many commenters can add to my work using their own experiences and insights. But with this article, I was somewhat taken aback by some of the invective and bile hurled at me.

Here are just some examples:

Even though my article was highly critical of Reeves, one commenter wrote: “Honestly record your own voice and see it if sounds any different from Rachel’s from accounts. Lets face it she is you and you are her.” The commenter went on to write: “Please find a way stop people like her being your gods. Maybe it means you have to give up the money worship, Is the money worship really worth it given the squalid existence that it has led to in your life?” I guess this reader doesn’t like me very much though I suspect he has never met me. If he had met me, then he would possibly be justified in his loathing of me?

Another wrote: “I stopped reading at this point. David Craig demonstrates he has no understanding of how a free market works.” And goes on to writing: “I suppose Mr Craig’s next step is Government commandeering private rental property.”

And there was: “By proposing a police investigation into an undefined offence of “profiteering” the author disclosed his socialist economic views”.

And one commenter wrote a long piece in which they suggested that I “stick a cork up my arse“. I think it was because the reader felt I was talking through my arse when writing the Daily Sceptic article. But I reported this and it seems that this useful and helpful comment has been removed.

Hallelujah! I have witnessed a miracle

Friday blog

This blog is even more trivial than usual. So I’ll just leave it up for one day.

On Thursday I returned from a trip to a certain Asian country known for its fine weather, excellent food and its ‘vibrant’ nightlife’. While waiting for my flight on Wednesday evening in the Business Class lounge I saw a woman in her fifties come in with what I imagine was her daughter. The daughter was rather fat and generously adorned with large tattoos. Clearly the daughter had some real or imagined medical issue as she was brought into the lounge in a wheelchair pushed by a dimunitive local airport assistance worker weighing probably half what the daughter weighed.

Once the daughter was helped into a seat, I expected the mother to ask her what she wanted to eat and drink from the generous buffet. Much to my surprise, the ‘disabled’ daughter easily got up and went over to the buffet to collect a mountain of food and a few cans of Coca Cola. About half an hour later, the daughter made a new attack on the buffet.

Perhaps I had witnessed a miracle? Perhaps the sight of all that food had cured the daughter’s disability?

Actually, I have seen similar ‘take up thy bed and walk’ miracles occur when I worked at a certain well-know theme park. Some guests claiming disabilities would be given wheelchairs. Being in a wheelchair allowed them and their friends or family members to go to the front of the often long, slow-moving queues. But when it came to their turn to go on the ride, the wheelchair-bound park guest suddenly showed remarkable speed in getting out of their wheelchair and onto the ride. A miracle of healing, I imagine.

But I am being a bit modest. I have several times performed miracles of healing while travelling. For example, on Wednesday night while waiting at the boarding gate I noticed that a woman near me was coughing badly. I caught her attention and mentioned that I believed there was a medical centre in the airport and that she could get medical help there and in particular an assessment whether she was fit enough to fly that night. Lo and behold, the coughing immediately ceased. The woman was cured. It was a miracle of healing – not quite at the Jesus level – but a miracle nevertheless.

Why was this article rejected?

Monday-Tuesday blog

I’ve had quite a few articles published on two websites – THE DAILY SCEPTIC and THE CONSERVATIVE WOMAN. Recently, I sent them the article below -“Is an English Civil War Inevitable?” This was rejected by both websites. I can think of three possible reasons why it was rejected:

  • The article is a badly-written load of tosh
  • The article is so far from being realistic that nobody would publish it
  • The article is so close to what will probably happen that nobody would publish it

I’ll leave it up to you to decide which of these three reasons is the most likely.

Is an English civil war inevitable?

By David Craig

Two of the best-known dystopian novels are probably George Orwell’s ‘1984’ and Aldous Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’. But there is one other possibly important dystopian novel which may have slipped below many people’s radar. This is the 1972 novel ‘Fugue for a Darkening Island’ by Christopher Priest:

Amazon tells us:

As Europe looks for ways to deal with the humanitarian crisis of Syria’s misplaced population and the influx of refugees crossing the Mediterranean Christopher Priest’s second novel has a new, timely, edge.

Survivors of a terrible African war flee their blighted continent, and look for refuge in the countries of the West. But Britain is falling into civil war and anarchy.

The book describes one family’s fight for survival as civil war breaks out in Britain between the native, white population and the “Afrims” (African migrants).

Looking at the UK population today, we can see that White British are already a minority in London:

  • Black and Minority Ethnic: 46% of Londoners identify as Black and Minority Ethnic
  • White British: 43.4% of Londoners identify as White British
  • Other White: 14.6% of Londoners identify as Other White
  • Black African: 7.9% of Londoners identify as Black African
  • Indian: 7.0% of Londoners identify as Indian

White British are also a minority in Birmingham:

  • In 2021, 51.4% of Birmingham’s population identified as BAME, while 48.6% identified as White
  • The largest group outside of White British was Pakistani
  • Black African and Indian were the next largest groups
  • 3% of Birmingham’s population are Sikh

White British are also a minority in Leicester:

  • Asian: 43.4% of Leicester residents identify as Asian, Asian British, or Asian Welsh
  • Black: 7.8% of Leicester residents identify as Black, Black British, Black Welsh, Caribbean, or African
  • Mixed: 3.8% of Leicester residents identify as mixed or of multiple ethnic groups
  • White: 40.9% of Leicester residents identify as white
  • Other: 4.1% of Leicester residents identify as “other

I could go on, but you probably get the picture by now.

We’re told that according to the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), net migration to Britain in the year ending June 2024 was 728,00 and that this represents a significant drop from the record high of 906,000 recorded in the year ending June 2023. But we have to be careful with these figures as they don’t really give a full view of the number of people moving to Britain. Almost all those migrating to Britain – over one million a year – will be non-white, while a significant proportion (I can’t find the figures) of those emigrating will be white. This means that the non-white population may actually be increasing by over one million a year and not the latest ‘net migration’ level of 728,000. Some forecasts suggest that White British will be a minority in their own country by 2070.1Others put this date in the 2060s while the Guardian, a strong supporter of open-borders immigration, suggests white British will be a minority by 2100.2 Perhaps my memory is failing me, but I don’t recall any of the main political parties stating in their election manifestos that they would enact policies to ensure that White British would become a minority in their own country possibly well before the end of this century.

Whichever date you agree with, or whether you even agree that White British could become a minority in their own country, it’s clear that Britain is undergoing a massive demographic change. This seems to me to raise two rather important questions. Though I suspect that these two questions are ones that the ruling political, academic, media, bureaucratic and business elites would rather we plebs didn’t think about because there seems to be only one answer to these questions. The questions are:

  • when will the ethnic minorities feel that the country belongs to them rather than to the shrinking white minority population and thus the more radical elements in the non-white population will feel emboldened to seize political and military power from the White British population?
  • how long will White British tolerate losing control of their country and being treated as second-class citizens in their own country?

As we saw in Northern Ireland and many other countries around the world, the move towards civil war can start with a series of terrorist attacks by a minority community which feels it doesn’t have the same rights as the majority. These provoke a violent response from the communities being attacked and then the situation can risk escalating into full-scale conflict.

If we look at the first question and try to understand which group is most likely to instigate the violence, I won’t give an opinion as this might lead to me being accused of all kinds of made-up crimes involving words ending in ‘phobia’. Instead I will quote from a Government statement in Hansard on 19 July 2023 (at 12.37 pm if you want me to be even more precise).3 The Government stated:

“By far the biggest terrorist threat comes from Islamist terrorism. It accounts for 67% of attacks since 2018, and about three quarters of MI5’s caseload. The remainder of the UK terrorist threat is largely driven by extreme right-wing terrorism, which accounts for approximately 22% of attacks since 2018 and about a quarter of the MI5 caseload.”

Though, apart from the June 2016 murder of Labour MP Jo Cox, I can’t recall any other incidents which could be attributed to ‘extreme right-wing’ terrorism’. So I’m not quite sure where the Government gets its figures that 22% of terrorist acts since 2018 have been due to ‘extreme right-wing’ terrorism’. Moreover, that leaves 11% of terrorist attacks apparently committed by people who are neither Islamists nor extreme right-wing. Heaven knows who they are. Buddhists? Scientologists? Tibetan monks? Trekkies?

In answer to the second question, we have already seen increasing discontent among parts of the white British population at what is happening to our country especially the apparent favouring of ethnic minorities (possibly eventually to become majorities). The seeming elevation of the welfare of migrants over that of White British with illegal migrants being given priority with accommodation, healthcare, living expenses, new mobile phones, free clothing and much more at the expense of increasingly taxed taxpaying British has been one of the most evident signs of White British losing control over their lives. This has also been evident in our two-tier policing which has now been seemingly enshrined into law by new Sentencing Council guidelines. Although our rulers deny this, these new sentencing guidelines appear to make it more likely that White British will get custodial sentences than those from ethnic backgrounds for similar crimes.

The demographic takeover of Britain by non-whites and the increasing marginalisation of White British cannot end in a happy, harmonious society. The violence is likely to kick off first in England whose cities have a greater percentage of non-whites than Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. White British, for example, make up 82% of Edinburgh’s population, 81% in Glasgow, 79% in Cardiff and 93% in Belfast.

The good news is that a new English civil war will probably not happen in our lifetimes. So Sunday Telegraph readers have no fear of the value of their properties being negatively impacted. But it’s possible that our children could see the first outbreaks of widespread inter-communal violence and maybe even likely that our grandchildren will experience this.

When the inter-communal violence starts, one possibly interesting issue is: which side will the police take? It’s clear that senior police management currently believe that their job is to protect non-whites while brutally cracking down on any White British protesting about the loss of their country. But will the rank and file police continue to obey their bosses or will they bow to family and community pressure and switch their loyalties to the increasingly persecuted white population? Moreover, if the police start to split along racial lines and the military is called in, will ordinary soldiers in the army, which is more than 80% White British, really shoot and bomb White British citizens in order to hand the country over to those who have arrived in the last few decades?

I wonder how many people are thinking about this?

Anyway, don’t say you weren’t warned.

No time to do a blog today

No time to do a blog today. But I’m halfway through writing a pretty good one (IMHO?) for tomorrow.

Watch and weep for our country

Tuesday-Wednesday blog

I attach at the end of this blog a short video from Fox News about the deportation of South American gang members from the US to a prison in El Salvador.

For me this video makes a few important points:

Point 1: Trump has learnt how to be president

Trump’s first term as president was not a great success.

  • He surrounded himself with many of the wrong people who didn’t support his agenda. Since he fired them, some of these embittered creatures have been his harshest critics
  • He didn’t understand that getting things done in government was much more complex than in business
  • He was constantly harassed by bogus Democratic impeachment attempts questioning his legitimacy

But Trump has learnt and this time has achieved more in a couple of months than most US presidents have achieved in their four years. These include:

  • He has signed more than 70 executive orders
  • He has repealed all the green environmental nonsense
  • He has started the process towards peace in Ukraine
  • He has faced down several countries which have opposed US policies
  • Already over 30,000 criminal illegal migrants have been arrested and deported

Point 2: Activist judges are finding out they no longer run America

America has over 1.3 million lawyers and of these around 1,770 are judges. In the US as in Britain, power has increasingly been taken away from politicians and passed to judges. Moreover, many of these judges have been carried away by their new power and have become activist and worked against the interests of the American and British voters. We saw this when our judges repeatedly tried to block Brexit, this prevents almost any construction in the UK as judges can use Net Zero legal obligations to sabotage any oil exploration, new roads or runways, new factories or whatever. And we see this almost daily in utterly absurd judgements being made by immigration tribunals when allowing rapists, paedophiles and other criminals to remain in Britain.

In the attached video, some activist Democrat judge somewhere in the US tried to block Trump’s deportation of criminal gang members. Whereas the British government would have immediately caved in and given up the deportations as they did with the first Rwanda flight, Trump’s team told the judge to get stuffed and is continuing with the deportations with planes leaving the US every day

Point 3: Watch and weep for Britain

As you watch the US taking action to protect its cirizens from dangerous foreign criminals, weep for our country which encourages the world’s garbage to move to Britain:

Let us clebrate Britain’s DIE disaster hires (Part 1)

Sunday-Monday blog

(This blog is my ignorant personal opinion, so please don’t sue me)

As the brilliant, widely-respected and dyamic boss of NHS England, Amanda ‘penpusher’ Pritchard, leaves her job and the government decides to abolish her whole 13,500-employee organisation, I thought it might be worth spending just a few minutes looking at the carnage caused by some of our country’s most disastrous (IMHO) diversity hires. In this blog I’ll just do two here otherwise the blog will be rather long. I’ll do a couple more in a future blog

Dame Cressida ‘Dickless’ Dick

Dame Cressida Rose Dick DBE QPM is a British former police officer who seems to have risen effortlessly up the ranks of our pathetically ineffective Metropolitan Police ending up as Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis from 2017 to 2022. Cressida was, as far as I understand, both female and a lesbian. So she ticked a couple of important diversity boxes. If only she’d also been Asian or Black she’d have had a ‘full house’. Under Dame Cressida’s less than impressive leadership, crime in London rose relentlessly (though it did fall during the fake plague lockdowns):

Here’s Dame Cressida getting some kind of medal or something like that for her heroic efforts in making London less safe for its citizens:

Dame Cessida’s performance was so abysmal, that eventually even that champion of diversity, London’s diminutive mayor, demanded she go:

No doubt Dame Cressida got a huge pile of our money and a massive pension as her reward for wrecking London’s once-respected police service.

So impressed was I by Dame Cressida’s contribution to our country, that I even made a YouTube video to celebrate her brilliant career (link at the end of this blog)

Dame Sharon ’empty-shelves’ White

According to Wikipedia, Dame Sharon Michele White, Lady Chote, DBE is a British businesswoman who served as the sixth Chairman of the John Lewis Partnership, having previously held a variety of roles in the Civil Service. Though, as far as I am aware, Dame Sharon didn’t have any significant experience in any business until she was mysteriously made big boss of the John Lewis Partnership. Being a woman and being black, Dame Sharon ticked two key diversity boxes. If only she had been a lesbian like Dame Cressida, she’d have had a ‘full house’. White would be awarded an annual salary of £990,000 for her role at the John Lewis Partnership – a significant increase on her previous salary, which was £341,700 as head of the useless woke Ofcom.

Dame Sharon was big on woke. Here’s an email I got from Dame Sharon’s company:

“It’s Pride month, and we’re looking forward to celebrating with family, friends and colleagues and of course, delicious food and drink! At Waitrose and John Lewis, we’re committed to inclusion and our LGBTQIA+ network, Pride in the Partnership, is always busy. So far this year, we’ve celebrated LGBTQIA+ History month in February and International Trans Day of Visibility in March with events and educational packs for Partners.

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with a company bringing in a new boss with a new perspective and new ideas. And Sharon, I believe, proposed things like destroying the John Lewis partnership structure by bringing in new investors who will want to be paid dividends every year and also building flats above or instead of stores. But before coming up with brilliant new ideas, it could be useful if the new boss could prove they were capable of successfully running the basic business for which they are responsible.

Apparently Waitrose used an Indian IT company to ‘upgrade’ their IT systems. Probably they used an Indian company because it was significantly cheaper that any UK-based business. As usual with any IT ‘upgrade’, chaos ensued. One tech website reported:

“A bungled system update has left the chain?s stores with a shortage of fresh produce, while customers have also reported problems using its app and securing slots for deliveries. Waitrose, which is part of John Lewis, has 329 stores across the UK. Waitrose customers started reporting problems over the May Bank Holiday weekend. A system update took longer than expected, which interfered with the delivery of fresh produce.

Tech Monitor contacted Waitrose to find out more information, but a spokesperson for the chain told the Daily Telegraph that the problem had been fixed. “We’re really sorry for the disruption that some customers faced. We?ve fixed the cause of the problem, and have regular daily deliveries going to all our branches,” the spokesperson said. “Many shops now have good availability, and we?re addressing localised issues as quickly as possible.

Well, I went to a Waitrose store after the problems had supposedly been fixed and this is what I saw:

However, in March 2023, the magazine Retail Gazette reported: “John Lewis Partnership has plunged to a loss of £234 million and admitted it could not afford to pay staff their traditional annual bonus.

The Retail Gazette also reported: “John Lewis Partnership chairman Sharon White has pledged to return the retailer to profit before 2026, adding that staff bonuses would only return ‘when affordable’. Following three years of losses, White’s five-year plan, kicked off back in 2021, would ‘get the partnership back to sustainable profit’.

And Dame Sharon is quoted as saying her recovery plan would create: ‘a broadly based business with brilliant retail at the core, built on excellent customer service, quality and ethics’.

In October 2023, White became the shortest-serving John Lewis boss in the company’s history when she announced that she would be stepping down from her role at John Lewis Partnership several years before her promised ‘return to profit by 2026’.

Dame Sharon White, the former chair of John Lewis, is now European head of the Canadian public pension fund manager that holds investments in companies including Eurostar and Heathrow.

White has been given the official title of managing director and head of Europe at Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec (CDPQ).

Trump Derangement Syndrome escalates

Thursday-Friday blog

I’m short of time today but wanted to briefly express my amazement at the apparent escalation in bile being vomited at Donald Trump by the British media over Trump’s Ukraine peace plan.

For me the situation is clear. Trump’s first step is to bring Ukraine into line with the Americans’ peace plan. To do this Trump and Vance have explained to Zelensky that most Americans don’t really care what happens to his crappy little venal impoverished country and most Americans don’t see why they should be pouring hundreds of billions of their dollars to defend one of the most corrupt countries in Europe. After his initial shock at being faced with reality, Zelensky seems to have fallen into line.

This very public and well-deserved spancking of Zelensky has led to Trump being accused of being Putin’s pawn and the world’s worst negotiator and a traitor to the West etc etc. European leaders have also all ganged up against America pledging their eternal support for Ukraine. But I rather doubt that Putin will be terribly afraid of the mussel-munching Belgian army (does Belgium even have an army?), the white-flag-waving cheese-eating French army, the laughably bankrupt Greek army and the German army forced to train with broomsticks when Ursula Fond of Lying was German defence minister as the soldiers didn’t have sufficient rifles.

Now Trump needs to bring the Russians to the negotiating table. This will be harder. But Russia cannot afford to continue their war for several more years. So eventually there must be some movement. If not, I expect Trump to kick Russia’s ass so bad Putin won’t be able to sit down for weeks.

I have previously explained that Trump is playing what’s called ‘The Great Game’. He wants to bring Russia back into the mainstream of western alliances in order to weaken the links between Russia and China as America sees China and not Russia as the main threat to America’s security.

Here’s an article I wrote for the UKDefenceMatters website outlining what none of our British supposed military and media ‘experts’ appear to understand:

https://ukdefencematters.com/f/throwing-good-money-after-bad-%E2%80%93-the-great-divide

And here’s the excellent Victor Davis Hanson explaining how America sees the Europe/Ukraine issue:

Spending takes the high road and tax take takes the low road

Sunday-Monday blog

I thought I’d just feature one chart which I doubt the mainstream media will be too enthusiastic about showing.

The chart comes from the ludicrously-misnamed Office for Budget Responsibility. The upper line shows projected government spending and the lower line shows expected government revenue from taxes:

I’ll leave it up to you to conclude where this will leave us.

Bannon destroys clueless Sky ‘journalist’

And while we’re on the subject of Britain going bankrupt under Rachel ‘the economist’ Reeves’s deft fiscal management and soon needing an IMF bailout, here’s a video of Trump supporter and former adviser Steve Bannon schooling a floundering Sky News interviewer about the realities of life:
