By David Craig, on June 2nd, 2014 (I wanted to stop blogging in protest at the lack of support given by readers. But then I worried over how people would find out about major news stories the mainstream media will do everything they can to ignore. So here is one of those stories)
One date I suspect none of our politicians and media pundits will mention is 21 November 2014. Why not? Because on 21 November 2014, an absolutely crucial piece of the EU Constitution (renamed the Lisbon Treaty) comes into force.
In the EU, the Council of Ministers is supposed to make a lot of the key decisions about the main legislation to be passed by the EU. In the Treaty of Nice, many of the areas where the EU wished to legislate required unanimity of the Council of Ministers.
But, in order to ‘improve the quality of decision making’, the Lisbon Treaty moves a huge number of areas from ‘unanimity’ to what is called ‘qualified majority voting’ (QMV). Moreover, the threshold for QMV is lowered from countries with over 70% of the EU’s population to countries with just 65% of the EU population.
The areas which will move from ‘unanimity’ to ‘QMV’ are all of these:

So, on 21 November 2014 we can say goodbye to the UK as an independent country, because after 21 November 2014, Britain will no longer be able to block any legislation which is against our national interests. No wonder Cameron, Miliband, Clegg or any of their stooges in the mainstream media will ever mention 21 November 2014. After all, if we plebs understood how our quisling leaders were handing over control of our country to Germany, we might support UKIP.
By David Craig, on May 30th, 2014 I had a quite important and possibly shocking subject for my blog today. November 21st 2014 will probably be one of the most important days in British history. Yet I suspect not a single politician or journalist will even mention what will happen on 21st November this year as, if they did, that would cause a massive surge in support for UKIP.
But then I heard from my publisher that only about a laughably small 50 copies of my latest book DON’T BUY IT! have been sold.
This means that around 5% of the people who read this blog have been willing to show their support by buying a copy of the book.
This surprised me as I had thought I was doing a reasonably useful service by writing this blog to cover the kind of stories often ‘conveniently’ overlooked by the mainstream media. However, it appears I was wrong. If only 5% of readers believe my blog has any value and 95% think a year’s blogging is not worth even a few quid, then clearly I’ve been wasting my time.
So, although I quite enjoy blogging, as 95% of my readers consider my blog worthless, there’s hardly any point continuing.
I will probably start blogging again at some point in the future and will try to build up a new readership who hopefully will show a bit of support for the work I put into trying to find a new story every day.

By David Craig, on May 29th, 2014 Firstly, I urgently need a few more reviews of my latest book DON’T BUY IT! to be posted on Amazon to get the book included in a June Amazon promotion. If you’ve bought the book, you can post a review here https://www.amazon.co.uk/review/create-review?ie=UTF8&asin=1909869937&channel=detail-glance&nodeID=266239&ref_=cm_cr_dp_wrt_top&store=books
Secondly, to lighten up the mood today, here I am appearing on Russia Today TV a couple of days ago talking about the multimillionaire lifestyle of our MEPs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0ItQI2y0t4&feature=youtube_gdata_player
And thirdly, I’ve certainly become as popular as the Sun newspaper in Liverpool for my blogs about Liverpool fans’ responsibility for creating situations which led to the Heysel and Hillsborough disasters which were then made much worse by the bungling reactions of the authorities and the police and subsequent cover-ups. So, I might as well offend Liverpudlians again today by posting a series of ‘Liverpool jokes’ sent to me by a reader (though I rather suspect these ‘jokes’ could be applicable to any of our major cities):
A Liverpool girl enters an adult shop and asks for a vibrator. The man says: “Choose one from our range on the wall.” She says “I’ll take that red one.”
The man replies: “That’s the fire extinguisher.”
Q. What do you call a 27 year old Liverpool girl?
A. Granny.
Q. What do you call a Liverpool girl in a white tracksuit?
A. The bride.
Q. What does a Liverpool girl use as protection during sex?
A. A bus shelter.
Q. There are two Liverpool girls in a car without any music – who is driving?
A. The policeman..
Q. What’s the most confusing day in Liverpool ?
A. Father’s day.
Q. How do people know Jesus wasn’t born in Liverpool ?
A. You try finding 3 wise men and a virgin there!
Police cordoned off Liverpool City Centre this morning when a suspicious object was discovered in a car.
It later turned out to be a Road Tax disc.
I’ve just been given the sales figures for my latest book DON’T BUY IT! An incredibly depressing and utterly pathetic 50 copies have been sold. So, far less than one in ten of the people who read this site, are willing to show their support for my work by buying a copy of DON’T BUY IT! Yet anyone reading DON’T BUT IT! is likely to save themselves thousands of pounds. I think this is a shameful situation and I despair at the way Britain has changed.
(Tomorrow – Our Lying Leaders Hand Over More Power to the EU – but don’t tell us what they’re up to)
By David Craig, on May 28th, 2014 There have been four major football disasters in Europe in the last 30 years – Heysel 1985 (fans fighting) 39 dead, Bradford 1985 (fire) 56 dead, Ibrox 1971 (fans crushed) 66 dead and Hillsborough 1989 (fans fighting) 96 dead. Liverpool fans have been involved in two of these four – Heysel and Hillsborough – the two caused by rival fans fighting each other.
As the Hillsborough enquiry grinds on costing us many millions, I’ve written before about how (even though my family comes from Liverpool) I suspect the whole thing is yet another attempt by whining scousers to portray themselves as eternal victims and then, in an age where nobody ever takes responsibility for their own actions, to ‘win the lottery’ by claiming vast amounts in compensation from British taxpayers.
I’m sure that in all these disasters the stadiums were dilapidated, the organisation terrible, the police reaction incompetent and then there were attempts by the authorities to cover up their own inadequacies. But in my opinion if at Hillsborough and Heysel the fans had not behaved like a bunch of drunken, feral savages, perhaps there wouldn’t have been any need for the authorities to intervene in the first place?

However, I’ve been contacted by a reader who says he was at both Hillsborough and Heysel and so, in the interests of balance, here’s his side of the story. Readers can make up their own minds about where the truth lies.
“I was there. People arrived late due to major road works, joining the people outside the turnstiles. Some fans who had managed to get to Sheffield early had been to the pubs in the area, which was normal then and is normal now. Having a couple of pints and heading to a stadium to see the game and gaining access safely, even on late arrival, was a common event during the terrace stadium days. But, what happened that day could have been prevented by better police practice and better stewarding.”
“Nobody was trying to storm the turnstiles. Thousands of ticket holders became stuck outside the Leppings Lane end, due to the small number of entrances being unable to cope with the sudden and late arrivals. The police lost control of the situation. The order was given by the police to open a exit gate to let people in, to relieve the crowd pressure outside. The stadium was unable to deal with the surge through the gate, with people being forced down the tunnel behind the goal. The pen behind the goal overfilled and people were crushed to death.”
“So in my opinion, the fans could not be blamed for what happened in any way. Poor organisation of policing outside and inside the ground was very evident on the day. The lack of medical services at the stadium. A couple of ambulances allowed to the seat of the crush, with many, many more lined up in the road outside not given permission to go onto the pitch. All of theses factors caused this terrible event.”
“With regards to the Heysel tragedy, twelve months before in Rome, Liverpool fans, including many women and children had been attacked by Roma fans on exiting the stadium. Concrete and other items had been hurled down on them from a road above, injuring many fans. At Heysel a lot of Liverpool supporters had talked of not letting the Italians off if they began trouble this time.”
“Outside Heysel a number of Italians had slashed Liverpool fans with knives across the legs and backsides. Inside the stadium, zone Z was due to be a neutral area, next to the Liverpool fans. In fact it was almost full with Italians. With a small number of English in there. They came under attack from some Juventus fans. This was seen by Liverpool fans across the chicken wire fence. The Liverpool fans then charged at the Italians. They backed away causing many, many fans to be forced against the wall, which gave way. In my opinion our fans should not have charged, they should have let the police deal with the issues in zone Z. But, my feeling is the crowd had reacted due to the previous year’s events and incidents on the day.”
“What happened at both stadiums could have been prevented. Better policing at both. The wrong stadiums had been selected. Both where antiquated. The ticket allocations by the 2 football bodies left a lot to be desired. Segregation at Heysel. The larger Liverpool following at Hillsborough should have had the larger Kop end, with many more turnstiles.”
“So for those who have posted above, get your facts right. Don’t comment on what you don’t fully know about. Liverpool fans attend all memorials held in Turin and at Heysel. Plus, Liverpool FC and our city council always send people to attend. The people of Liverpool never forgot those lost at Hillsborough and equally we will never forget the Juventus fans lost in Belgium.”
By David Craig, on May 27th, 2014 Who would have thunk it? The reaction from our unelected Eurocrat rulers to the rise of anti-EU parties has been to conclude that what people are asking for is “more Europe, not less”.
Leading the “more Europe, not less” brigade is the ghastly EU-fanatic Jean-Claude Juncker – a former prime minister of Luxembourg. This nobody, who nobody has ever heard of, expects to take over the most powerful job in Europe – President of the European Commission – after the (IMHO) greedy, self-serving, corrupt Portuguese buffoon Barroso ends his second term later this year. Juncker has concluded that by voting for anti-EU parties, what the people are really saying is that they want the EU to take a more active role in solving the region’s economic problems. So Juncker claims that there is a need to increase the EU’s powers.
Here’s your probable new ruler – Jean-Claude Juncker

And here’s our supposed leader, David Cameron, taking orders from his new master

Moreover, leading Europhiliacs have already said that as two thirds of the European Parliament still consists of pro-EU, federalist MEPs, then it will be business as usual in Brussels on the road to ever-closer union and the creation of their wonderful EU superstate – the EUSSR
Here to relieve the post-election sense of futility is Pat Condell on the “Theft of Democracy” by the EU elites

Though perhaps I should be celebrating? After all, one person bought a copy of my latest book DON’T BUY IT! yesterday. That means that since the book’s publication a couple of months ago, more than 95% of the readers of this website are too financially-squeezed (or tight-fisted?) to show their support for this website by buying a book that will probably save them hundreds, and possibly thousands, of times what the book costs. Hey, ho, that’s the way it goes.
By David Craig, on May 26th, 2014 How dare you ignorant savages from the sticks (anyone outside of London) disobey orders?
For months we’ve been using our sycophantic lapdogs in the press and the BBC to smear UKIP. We’ve dredged up every word uttered by even the most insignificant UKIP members and used these to brand UKIP as lunatics and rabid raaaccciiissssttts. At the same time, we’ve desperately tried to cover up all the cases of rape, sex abuse and drug offences by members of the LibLabCon Party.
But you idiots appear to have understood nothing. We told you not to vote for UKIP. But almost a third of you defied our instructions.
How dare you challenge those who ride roughshod over you as is our self-proclaimed right? You think your votes will change anything? Well you can all go and whistle Dixie through a place where the sun doesn’t shine.
Of course, we’ll claim we’re listening to you. And we’ll say we understand your concerns about immigration, economic decline and the ever-increasing power of the EU superstate. But that’s about as far as it goes, you stupid plebs.
You think you can loosen our grip on power and privilege? Some hope. We are going to teach you a lesson you will never forget. We will destroy all those outside of our own Europhile, multi-cultural, PC, London-centric elite and trample you into the ground for your audacity, you jumped up little pip-squeaks.
We’re going to shove immigration and the EU down your throats. We’re going to make you regret ever voting against us. We’re going to wreck the country with more borrowing, more EU rules, more Global Warming taxes, more controls on free speech, more censorship of the Internet.
And then we’re going to retire to our second, third and fourth homes on the French Riviera or in Tuscany with our massive taxpayer-funded pensions leaving you pig-ignorant savages to rot in the crowded, concreted-over, bankrupt, Third World hell-hole that we’ve created through our greed and incompetence.
We despise you! We’ve always despised you! Democracy? Dream on, you pathetic plebs!
As for why UKIP didn’t win in London. Well, it’s partly because about 54% of London’s population are immigrants and partly because in the Islamic Republic of East London, ballot papers were folded in such a way that the few people who wanted to vote for UKIP couldn’t see UKIP’s name on the ballot paper www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDfn6hpHtJg
“But in Tower Hamlets the ballot papers were folded in such a way that you would never even know UKIP was an option. All the other folds were inward and of equal length, the final fold at the bottom was less than half the size of the other folds and in the opposite direction. It was also folded more firmly on my ballot paper.”
By David Craig, on May 25th, 2014 If you’re saving in a unit trust or for a pension, you probably imagine something like this:
Save £5,000 a year for 20 years = £100,000 saved: savings grow at about 7% a year: pay around 1% to a unit trust or pension fund manager: leaves me about 6% a year: after 20 years I’ll have a wonderful £193,375 and I’ll only have paid my unit trust or pension fund manager £16,848 (less than £1,000 a year)
And you’d be encouraged to think this way by seemingly endless articles in the Money sections of newspapers where journalists repeatedly write something like “assuming growth of six per cent a year”.
Sadly, the truth is actually as follows:
Unit Trusts: Save £5,000 a year for 20 years = £100,000 saved: savings grow at about 4% a year: pay around 3% a year to a unit trust manager: leaves me about 1% a year: after 20 years I’ll have a pathetic £109,775 but the unit trust manager will have taken an astonishing £34,660 of my money.
Pensions: Save £5,000 a year in my pension fund for 20 years: savings grow at about 2.5% a year: pay around 2% a year to a pension fund manager: leaves me about 0.5% a year: after 20 years I’ll have a shamefully small £107,000 but the pension fund manager will have taken a shamefully large £22,150 of my money. So, while my pension savings have gone up by just £7,000, my pension fund manager will have pocketed three times that.
Bottom line: most British savers are being fleeced and they don’t even know it.
So, what can you do?
Unit trusts: do not, repeat not, put any money in an ‘actively-managed’ unit trust. If you want to put money into the stock market, have a quick look at the sales bumf for a few unit trusts (available on-line), look at which are the main shares they buy and buy those shares directly yourself using a company like Hargreaves Lansdown to do all the buying and paperwork. If you really don’t trust yourself to buy shares directly, then put your money into a low-cost tracker fund where you’re paying no more than 0.3% a year in total fees and charges. Remember, over 5+ years, nine out of ten actively-managed funds will be outperformed by trackers.
Pensions: Put your money into a SIPP and then use your SIPP savings to buy a few top shares by looking at the shares held by the top unit trusts. It is total madness, repeat total madness to be tempted to put your SIPP money into a fund or unit trust as you’ll be paying charges to both the fund manager and the SIPP company.
If you want to read more about how Britain’s savers are being completely suckered, you could download a free short report called “Legalised Looting” by the True and Fair Campaign www.trueandfaircampaign.com/ or else buy copies of either PILLAGED How they’re looting £413m a day from your savings and pensions or GREED UNLIMITED Tricks and Traps Salespeople Use and How to Beat Them.
Please, don’t allow yourself or anyone you know to be suckered by the greedy scum in the savings and pensions industry.
(and if you’ve already bought a copy of DON’T BUY IT! could you please post a review on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/review/create-review?ie=UTF8&asin=1909869937&channel=detail-glance&nodeID=266239&ref_=cm_cr_dp_wrt_top&store=books as that helps get the book included in Amazon promotions)
By David Craig, on May 24th, 2014 A man asks, “God, why did you make woman so beautiful?” God responded, ”So you would love her.” The man asks, “But God, why did you make her so dumb?” God replied, “So she would love you.”
Q: What is the difference between government bonds and men?
A: Government bonds mature.
Q: Why do men come home drunk and leave their clothes on the floor?
A: Because they are in them.

Q: What do you have when you have two little balls in your hand?
A: A man’s undivided attention

Husband: “I want to go somewhere on holiday this year I’ve never been before.” Wife: “Well, how about the kitchen?”
Q: Why don’t women blink during foreplay? A: They don’t have time.
Men’s brains are like the prison system: not enough cells per man
Man: “Why do you women always try to impress us with your looks, not with your brains?” Woman: “Because there is a bigger chance that a man is a moron than he is blind.”
Q: What is the difference between a puppy and a man? A: Eventually the puppy will grow up and stop whining.
A woman’s rule of thumb: If it has tyres or testicles, you’re going to have trouble with it…”
Q: How can you tell when a man is dead? A: He stays stiff for more than two minutes
Men are like…..High heels. They’re easy to walk on once you get the hang of it
By David Craig, on May 23rd, 2014 This week has been quite a good one for the self-righteous, overly-pious, holier-than-thou mob who seem to make a good living (usually at taxpayers’ expense) finding things to be offended by. John Inverdale has apparently lost his job commentating at Wimbledon largely due to a rather crass, but hardly devastating, comment he made about a female French player’s looks. Meanwhile the Football Association’s boss came close to losing his job when a (IMHO) sanctimonious and perfidious temporary secretary leaked some of his supposedly sexist jokey private emails to a newspaper.
That made me think that I may be the only person left in today’s politically-correct Britain who dares say or write anything that those who seek to be offended could find offensive. After all, I don’t have a job and so can’t be fired. And if I lose a few readers, well so what? Most of my readers are too tight-fisted to show support for this website by buying copies of my books and thus won’t be missed.
So, I thought I’d dedicate today’s blog to sexist anti-women jokes and then, to be sure I’ve given lots of ammunition to those who desperately want something to be offended by, tomorrow’s blog will be used for sexist anti-men jokes.
There’s a new drug for lesbians on the market to cure depression, it’s called Trycoxagain
How are women and tornadoes alike? They both moan like hell when they come, and take the house when they leave.
What is easier to pick up the heavier it gets? Women.
Scientists have discovered a food that diminishes a woman’s sex drive by 90%. It’s called a wedding cake.
A man calls 999 and says, “I think my wife is dead.” The operator says, “How do you know?” The man says, “The sex is about the same, but the ironing is piling up!”
How many men does it take to open a beer? None. It should be opened by the time she brings it.
As an airplane is about to crash, a female passenger jumps up frantically and announces, “If I’m going to die, I want to die feeling like a woman.” She removes all her clothing and asks, “Is there someone on this plane who is man enough to make me feel like a woman?” A man stands up, removes his shirt and says, “Here, iron this!”
A young woman was taking golf lessons and had just started playing her first round of golf when she suffered a bee sting. Her pain was so intense that she decided to return to the clubhouse for medical assistance. The golf pro saw her heading back and said, “You’re back early, what’s wrong?” “I was stung by a bee!” she said. “Where?” he asked. “Between the first and second hole.” she replied. He nodded and said, “Your stance is far too wide.”
An old lady was getting on the bus to go to the pet cemetery with her cat’s remains. As she got on the bus, she whispered to the bus driver, “I have a dead p*ssy.” The driver pointed to the lady sitting behind him and said, “Sit with my wife, you two have a lot in common.”
A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband. A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.
A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
What’s the difference between your wife and your job? After 10 years the job still sucks.
By David Craig, on May 22nd, 2014 There has been much wittering and hand-wringing in the press and TV about Britain’s house-price bubble and whether the Government or Bank of England should act to stop rocketing prices.
So, is the house-price bubble a result of Britain’s improving economy, as the Government would like to claim? Or is it a cynical way for the Government to create the illusion of economic growth in a desperate attempt to win the 2015 General Election?
I’m not a conspiracy theorist and so prefer to look at the facts. And the clue to what is happening can be found towards the end of George Osborne’s 116-page 2011 budget report. What? You haven’t read it? Clearly none of our financial journalists have bothered to read it either, otherwise they would understand what the Government is up to.
In the report, Osborne makes projections about how the Government’s tax take will increase between 2011-12 and 2016-17 (click to see more clearly)

Yup, there ‘s the clue. Income Tax payments projected to increase by 34%; National Insurance forecast to rise by 36% but Stamp Duty (from property sales) planned to shoot up by a huge 85%. So, as far back as March 2011, the Government had been planning to engineer a massive house-price bubble to create a ‘feel-good factor’ – as people saw the value of their houses rising they would feel confident to move home and spend more thus creating the impression of an improving economy designed to return the Tories to power.
As for the fact that our supposed ‘economic growth’ is being supported by our useless Government borrowing and squandering £2bn a week and doubling our national debt from £700bn in 2010 to over £1.4trn by 2015 – well the Tories naturally choose not to mention that, preferring to big up the ever so slightly decreasing deficit instead. So, if people feel taxes have gone up under the Coalition, then in the words of Bachman Turner Overdrive “Baby you ain’t seen nothing yet, here’s something you’ll never forget” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFRk0FfaQi0 because after the 2015 General Election, someone’s going to have to start paying down our massive, unsustainable national debt and that’s going to hurt.
Meanwhile, today is a special day. It’s the day on which we can give our self-serving, expenses-thieving rulers and their sycophantic cheerleaders in the media a bloody nose. Vote UKIP!!!
(Could anyone who has bought a copy of my latest book DON’T BUY IT! please post a review on www.amazon.co.uk as the more reviews I get, the more likely Amazon are to include the book in their promotions. If we could get 20 to 30 reviews, that would be extremely helpful. If you haven’t bought the book, you should – it will save you more than a hundred times what the book costs)
