By  David Craig, on August 9th, 2014 Well, well. Here they go again. Maybe 100,000 people have been killed in Syria. Perhaps 40,000 Yazidis are about to be slaughtered in Iraq. Possibly 100,000 Christians face death also in Iraq. Who knows how many are being murdered in Libya, Somalia, Nigeria and other countries by deeply religious Isl*m*sts?
But the self-righteous Disasters and Emergency Committee (DEC), a collection of 14 supposed ‘charities’, has launched an urgent appeal – not for Syria or Iraq, but for Gaza – because Israelis (hated by the multi-cultural leftists at DEC) have possibly been guilty of a little bit of overkill while trying to prevent themselves being wiped out by Hamas.
It’s almost surprising that the DEC TV appeal didn’t feature the (IMHO) anti-semitic, expenses-thieving, self-promoting, social-climbing, self-serving, liar and hypocrite Baroness Warsi. After all, she seems to look the other way when M*sl*ms behead, crucify and torture Christians and other M*sl*ms. But when Israelis kill M*sl*ms, then the fragrant Baroness gets a bit uppity.
In their TV appeal, DEC claim that every pound donated will go straight to the Palestinian victims of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. But hold on a minute, where does the money come from to pay the generous salaries and expenses of the executives of the DEC charities? Does it grow on trees? No. Does it appear by magic? Nope. It comes, of course from our donations.
The head of the British Red Cross formerly worked for Labour and is paid over £184,000 a year of our money. The boss of Christian Aid also worked with Labour and gets over £123,000 a year. The chief executive of Save The Children was an adviser to Tony Blair and a former director of strategic communications under Gordon Brown. He pockets about £163,000 a year. The chief executive of Tearfund previously worked at the Department for Education and Skills under Labour and seems to get by on a modest £92,000. The £87,000 a year boss of the Catholic charity Cafod came to the press’s attention when he was found to have been living together with Labour MP Paul Goggins in a house which Goggins had designated his “second home” and claimed almost £45,000 in expenses for. Goggins did not tell the Commons Fees Office that he shared it and claimed for the entire £600 a month mortgage interest, annual council tax and utility bills
I could go on, but hopefully readers get the picture. Oh, and a member of DEC I forgot to mention is the charity Islamic Relief.
As far as I understand it, the people of Gaza voted overwhelmingly to be governed by a fundamentalist Isl*m*c group dedicated to the total destruction of Israel and the murder of every single Jew living there. So why are they surprised that Israel is trying to isolate itself from Gaza and prevent Hamas fighters entering Israel? Anyway, when the left-wing professional hand-wringers scream about Israel’s blockade of Gaza, they always seem to forget that Egypt has also closed its borders with Gaza because, like Israel, Egypt doesn’t want Hamas bringing terror and chaos to their country either.
And as for the millions that suckers will hand over to DEC – I wonder how much will end up in the offshore bank accounts of corrupt Palestinian politicians and bureaucrats or else will be used to buy weapons to kill Israelis.
By David Craig, on August 8th, 2014 I’ve just started researching and possibly writing a book exposing the massive scandal of Britain’s bloated charity industry. Though I’m not sure any publisher will have the courage to publish it as I’m not too complimentary about Britain’s hundreds of thousands of bloated, self-serving charities.
Here’s just a little foretaste of the kind of things I’ve found.
Just in England and Wales, there are 1,939 active charities focused on children; 843 helping the elderly (though some of these are branches of one large charity Age Concern); 581 charities trying to help victims of cancer or else find a cure for cancer; 354 charities for birds; 255 charities for animals and even in a more restricted field like leukaemia we have no fewer than 68 charities all eagerly asking for our money for a good cause.
If there is duplication, triplication, quadruplication and more, then this is probably costing ordinary members of the public surprisingly large amounts of money. For example, all charities with an income of £25,000 and above have to file properly audited financial accounts with the Charity Commission. If it costs an average of just £2,000 to produce a set of audited accounts for the 20,000 or so charities earning between £25,000 and £100,000, say £5,000 each in auditors’ fees for the 20,871 charities collecting between £100,000 and £500,000, perhaps £7,000 each for the 8,302 charities picking up between £500,000 and £5 million and £25,000 each for the 1,976 charities with over £5 million a year, then that’s £251 million pounds of donors’ money just for ‘beancounting’ how much money the charities collected and how they spent it.
Many charities try to get us to sign up to donating a small sum, maybe £5 or £10 a month. Just to pay the external auditors’ fees for the 51,149 charities taking in more than £25,000 a year would require an incredible four million people donating £5 per month or two million generous souls handing over a more substantial £10 per month.
Are we being scammed? Yes we are.
Meanwhile, on the Baroness Warsi front, a reader beat me to it yesterday when he wrote: “Where is her concern for the Christians being slaughtered in Iraq? Where is her condemnation for the two sides of the horror of Syria? Where is her condemnation of Boko Haram and their vile exploits? She is just another self serving politician. In fact she is worse, she is one that has been placed there purely on race and gender. Well good riddance to her, shows that selection on race and gender rather than merit is another PC load of rubbish dragging our country down the EU drain.”
By David Craig, on August 7th, 2014 As I’m sure everyone knows, the fragrant Baroness Warsi resigned from the government on the day the Israelis pulled out of Gaza, because she felt the Government’s policy on the crisis in Gaza was “morally indefensible”. The good Lady went on to explain “I must be able to live with myself for the decisions I took or the decisions I supported. By staying in government at this time I do not feel that I can be sure of that”.
What a breath of fresh air to have a politician with such high moral standards that she is willingly sacrificing her political career because of her “integrity”.
But I wonder where and why Warsi suddenly found this “integrity”, because she certainly didn’t seem to have it two years ago. In 2012, the House of Lords standards commissioner launched a formal investigation into the Baroness’s expenses claims. It was alleged that she had been claiming £165.50 a night (about £12,000 in all) while staying rent-free at a friend’s house.
Baroness Warsi naturally denied any wrongdoing over the affair, saying she made an “appropriate payment” to friend Naweed Khan – a Tory official who (surprise surprise) became one of her aides – while staying at the house in Acton, west London in 2008. But the property’s owner, GP and former Tory donor Wafik Moustafa, claimed he did not receive any money from Warsi or Khan.
Mr Khan, of course, released a statement supporting the good Baroness’s claim that she had made an “appropriate payment” for the nights she stayed at the property and had handed him the correct amount to be passed on to the landlord.
However the owner of the property, Dr Wafik Moustafa, a GP in Acton, West London, denied that he received any income from either Lady Warsi or Mr Khan, “Baroness Warsi paid no rent, nor did she pay any utility bills or council tax. It was an informal arrangement, so no tenancy contract was drawn up”.
He told also stated that he was as shocked as any other reader when he read Warsi’s statement, which said she had paid “the appropriate financial payment” to Khan whilst staying in his flat, “Naweed [Khan] never paid any money and I never asked him for any money. She is trying to save her skin by any means”.
This was the second investigation into the activities of the good Baroness. David Cameron had already ordered a separate inquiry to determine whether Baroness Warsi breached the ministerial code by being accompanied by her business partner on an official visit to Pakistan. Cameron called in Sir Alex Allan, the independent adviser on ministerial interests, after Warsi failed to disclose her business relationship with Abid Hussain.
The Baroness had already written a letter of apology for causing embarrassment over the issue, saying she was “sincerely sorry”.
Unkinder voices have suggested the real reasons for Warsi’s departure on the day a Gaza ceasefire came into effect might have more to do with her business interests than any “integrity”. Still, now she’s a member of the House of Liars, she can claim expenses till the day she dies while using her peerage to get well-paid positions on the boards of loads of companies. So, all in all, Warsi is likely to become a multi-millionairess (if she isn’t already) thanks to being either:
a) an extremely talented and morally upright person
b) a M*sl*m woman from a working-class background plucked from obscurity because the Tories desperately needed to show they were modern and inclusive and politically-correct and sensitive to the views of Britain’s millions of M*sl*ms
By David Craig, on August 6th, 2014 I suspect that the good Baroness Warsi only achieved what she has because she was a female, working-class M*sl*m. So, in the interest of political correctness and to prove the Tories were ‘modern’ and inclusive’, the lovely unelected Baroness was probably promoted several thousand miles above her actual level of competence. And I can only dream about how my books would have been celebrated and how many copies would have been sold had I been female, working-class and M*sl*m too.
But on the matter of the Gaza conflict, I suspect Warsi reflects the views of many people – the Israelis have disastrously over-reacted in terms of the violence unleashed on Gaza’s civilian population and I fear that this will come to haunt Israel in the future by weakening support around the world. Plus I worry this will let the Iranians develop their ‘God Bomb’ and when they use it, many people will think ‘the Israelis deserved this’.
But I don’t agree with Warsi that Hamas’s takeover of the Gaza strip was beneficial. Here’s what the good Baroness told us in 2006, “I think what’s happened in the Middle East with the election of Hamas is actually an opportunity and I think that’s the way we’ve got to see it. When groups that practise violence are suddenly propelled into power through a democratic process they get responsibility and responsibility can be a tremendously taming factor. And I think that Hamas, when it realises that it wants a safe and stable and prosperous Palestine for its people, will realise that the way to deal with that is through dialogue and democracy and not through violence. And I actually think that Hamas has been given a mandate and I think it will now hopefully adopt a responsible position because that is the only way”.
Ooops. Perhaps Warsi hopes we’ve all forgotten how, in her brilliance, she predicted that the election of a violent, extremist group dedicated to the destruction of Israel and the murder of all Jews would lead to Hamas adopting “a responsible position”. As for the Baroness claiming that Hamas “wants a safe and stable and prosperous Palestine for its people“, Hamas couldn’t give a damn for “its people”. Hamas wants to eradicate the State of Israel and all Jews and, if letting loads of Palestinian women and children get killed helps Hamas achieve its aims, then the more the merrier as far as Hamas is concerned.
But the good Baroness has frequently put her religion before the good of the country that has allowed her to have such a charmed life, mostly at taxpayers’ expense. I wonder what her life would have been like if her family had remained in Pakistan. Married off at 12 or 13 probably to a man twenty or thirty years older and then forced to have a huge brood of children. And probably beaten by her husband every time she did something which displeased him.
The Baroness has told us not to use “sensationalised language” to describe the Trojan Horse takeover of schools by hardline M*sl*ms dedicated to the destruction of Western society. And she apparently hasn’t noticed the massacres being carried out by M*sl*ms on M*sl*ms and Christians and, in fact, anybody in Syria and Iraq and Afghanistan. Perhaps Warsi has been too busy spending all the money she’s getting from us by being both a government minister and a member of the House of Liars?
If you don’t like our country dear Baroness Warsi, you’re free to leave. You could even go back to delightful Pakistan where your family came from. Of course, we’ll miss you. But your departure is a sacrifice we may have to make.

But as with football, our German friends looked at why things hadn’t gone their way, changed their tactics and made a third attempt to achieve their goal of the domination of Europe under the German boot.
Here’s Angela Merkel triumphantly telling her obsequious British subjects that on the road to a united Europe (under German control, of course) there will be NO negotiation, NO concessions to British interests and NO return of any power to the British Parliament.
Seems to me that the Germans have finally won. What do our quisling leaders think? Mr Cameron? Or Mr Clegg? Or Mr Miliband?

By David Craig, on August 4th, 2014 There has been a load of bleating by the usual professional hand-wringers and chattering classes about so-called “botched executions” in the US. These executions have been called “botched” because instead of having a peaceful death, the convicts suffered some pain before they died.
Though, while our hand-wringers bleat and moan, many in the US can’t see what the problem is. As American stand-up comedian, television host, political commentator, satirist, author and actor Bill Maher said, “Stop calling it a botched execution – the guy’s dead, isn’t he?”
But if you want to murder someone in the US and you don’t want to be at the receiving end of a “botched execution” then you shouldn’t kill someone in any of the 32 states with the death penalty. Just go to one of the 18 states which have abolished the death penalty. For example, mass murderer Charles Manson was convicted during a period when California had abolished the death penalty (it was later reinstated) and not only was he not executed, but he got numerous TV and press interviews, a film made about him, a new wife and groups including Guns N’ Roses even recorded some of his songs. In fact, his many murders gave him the recognition and success he had been wanting all his life.
But if you are an American murderer and are stupid enough to kill someone in one of the 32 states with the death penalty, then why not come to Britain? After all, under the European Convention of Human Rights, Article 1 states ‘Human dignity is inviolable. It must be respected and protected‘. And Article 2 states ‘Everyone has the right to life. No one shall be condemned to the death penalty or executed‘.
There’s no mention of the ‘human dignity’ or the ‘right to life’ of the people who are murdered.
So murderers, if you come to Britain, you can never be extradited so long as you are under the threat of execution. Hey presto! No “botched execution” for you, however much your miserable, violent, poisonous existence deserves to be ended.
And should you also decide to murder someone while in Britain, well don’t worry too much. If our useless politically-correct police can be bothered to catch you, you’ll be sentenced to a few years in prison but will only have to serve half your term. And while you’re in prison, British taxpayers will happily pay over £40,000 a year to ensure you have three meals a day (adapted to whatever religious or other dietary requirements you may have), use of exercise facilities, TV, marital visits, free medical care and many other comforts.
Murderers, killers, rapists – come to Britain. You know it makes sense.
By David Craig, on August 3rd, 2014 I see the point of this website being to bring either stories or angles to stories that are not mentioned or conveniently forgotten in the mainstream media. A hopefully good example of this was yesterday’s post where, by showing a simple chart of the almost unbelievably fast population growth in the arid, infertile Sudan, I dared suggest that everything the aid agencies were doing there with our money was only making the situation worse.
Recently there have been loads of stories in the media about how the UK GDP was growing and how UK GDP had passed the level it was before the financial crisis and how this showed the ‘success’ of the Coalition’s policies and how Britain was ‘shooting ahead’ of countries like France and even Germany. All total tosh, of course. Today I’d like to quickly expose the great ‘GDP is growing’ lie.
GDP is a dreadful measure of national output as it includes public spending. So, the more a government borrows and spends (or wastes) the higher the GDP will look. Britain currently borrows around £100bn a year. And we apparently have GDP growth of perhaps 2.5% a year. On a £1.7trn economy, 2.5% GDP growth equates to growth of £42.5bn a year. So, our Government is achieving an almost incredible feat of borrowing and spending £100bn a year to give GDP growth of just £42.5bn a year.
But there’s another problem with the great ‘GDP is growing’ lie. Around 46,000 immigrants are arriving in the UK each month (552,000 a year) and getting NI numbers so they can either work or claim benefits or (thanks to idiot Gordon Brown’s immensely complicated tax credits system) both work and claim benefits at the same time. Moreover, all these immigrants will be getting services like healthcare, schooling for their children, housing for those without work and so on. This naturally pushes up government spending and, as the Government doesn’t raise enough in taxes, it has to borrow ever more which our children and their children and their children will have to pay back.

Total GDP is rising (the blue columns on the chart). But, because the population is growing due to immigration and high birth rates among immigrants, GDP per capita (the red columns on the chart) is hopelessly below the level it reached before the financial crash.
The Government and its sycophantic journalistic supporters and pig-ignorant TV reporters use the GDP figures to claim Britain is a wonderful success. But the more relevant GDP per capita figures show we’re getting poorer and that much of the supposed growth in GDP probably comes from increased government spending on immigrants.
So, the more immigration the Government allows, the more it will look like GDP is growing. What a total disaster for our country!
By David Craig, on August 2nd, 2014 For the last few days, the (IMHO) grotesquely self-serving, politically-correct, truth-twisting Oxfam have been running an appeal on TV for donations to help people in South Sudan. An earnest-looking bearded chap in some kind of aid distribution centre informs us “I’m just back from South Sudan where a brutal conflict has forced over a million people to flee their homes”.
This wording is very clever. It makes it sound as if “a brutal conflict” is some kind of natural disaster like an earthquake or tsunami. But it’s not. A “brutal conflict “ is usually entirely man-made. People decide to fight each other rather than living in peace. So, let’s explore a little more closely at what’s really happening in the Sudan and South Sudan.
We can start with looking at the population of the Sudan before it split in July 2011. Here it is (click to see more clearly)
The population of a largely arid, infertile area of our planet shot up from around 7,500,000 in 1960 to over 37,200,000 today. You don’t have to be a genius to see that this is completely unsustainable.
So, what happens when there are far too many people and far too few resources? Fighting over land, water and those resources, of course. And sure enough, there has been a civil war between Sudan’s various tribes for over 30 years.
This tribal conflict should have ended in July 2011 when South Sudan became an independent country and all the do-gooders and multi-culti leftists and professional hand-wringers told us that this would give our dear Sudanese friends the opportunity to live in peace.
Well, that didn’t last too long. Around 15 December 2013 (about 18 months after independence) the country’s leader and opposition leader decided to fight over who would become a multi-billionaire by stealing most of this impoverished hell-hole’s oil wealth and international aid money. So, an armed conflict broke out between the Dinker and Nuer tribes and, as usual, there has been internecine slaughter ever since.
So, let me rephrase the Oxfam appeal “I’m just back from South Sudan where a brutal conflict has forced over a million people to flee their homes”.
If he had been honest, what the bearded do-gooder should have said was something like “following billions in aid pouring into a primitive hell-hole called the Sudan over the last half century, the population of this arid wilderness has successfully rocketed from just 7,500,000 to over 37,200,000. Of course, what the aid agencies should have done half a century ago was to launch an aggressive programme of birth control. But that would have been ‘waaacccciiiissssttt!!! and Isl*m*phobic!!!’. So instead, we encouraged the Sudanese population to multiply way beyond the capacity of the land to support that many people.
“The result was completely predictable. Almost unending civil war as Sudan’s utterly corrupt, kleptocratic leaders exploited tribal tensions to try to grab as much wealth for themselves as they could. The people were stupid enough to follow their avaricious rulers and so have been happily massacring each other while their masters became rich beyond most people’s wildest dreams. Naturally, the overpopulation and fighting have left millions on the brink of starvation but have provided decades of work for us aid agency workers. So please, give us lots more of your money so the Sudanese population can get up to 70 or 80 million, thus guaranteeing us aid workers jobs for life. Oh, and please don’t mention ‘birth control’ otherwise you’re a waaacccciiiissssttt!!! and an Isl*m*phobe!!!!”.

Greedy, expenses-thieving, arrogant, self-serving, overpaid, over-pensioned politicians buy votes from pig-ignorant voters by making promises to voters that can’t possibly be kept because there isn’t enough money to pay for them. Voters then vote for those lying politicians in the hope that someone else will pay for all the ‘entitlements’ they think they are due at someone else’s expense. Debt spirals out of control and then ….well nobody really knows what will happen.

Whoops, I can’t see any cuts.
In fact there are cuts. But there are so many new people swarming into the country (46,000 a month) all of whom will be demanding benefits, housing, education, policing, healthcare and so on, that whatever the Government cuts will always be less than is needed to pay for those flooding into Britain.
Of course, Dodgy Dave Cameron and Baronet Osborne claim to be ‘getting the deficit under control‘. The only problem is that they never mention the elephant in the room – our national debt (click to see more clearly)
Yikes! It’s going the wrong way.
And here are the promises we’ve made to ourselves that we can’t keep
To balance the budget and start paying down our ever-increasing debt, we need spending cuts of about 10% in ALL areas of spending. So, will our masters cut the NHS budget by 10%? No, I thought not. That’s ring-fenced. In fact, NHS spending will go up due to immigration and an ageing population.
Or will our rulers cut welfare spending by 10%? Nope. That will keep on increasing due to immigration. How about cutting pensions by 10%? Can’t do that. With an ageing population, pension payments will double in the next 30 to 40 years.
Well, we could slash education by 10%, couldn’t we? Oh, I forgot, the baby-boom we’re having due to immigrants having larger families means we’re going to have to drastically increase school places and thus education spending. Well, there’s foreign aid. Oh no, Dave’s pledged to increase that too. Or the money we give to the EU. Aaarrgghh, remember Tony Blair gave away a large part of our rebate in return for reforms to the CAP budget that never happened, so money going to the EU will also rise every year.
There you have it folks! Our governments claim they’ll ‘balance the budget’. Yet spending on the NHS, benefits, pensions, education, foreign aid and the EU are all set to increase (click to see……)
You don’t have to be an economist to see we’re right royally f**ked.
But, of course, with their massive inflation-protected, taxpayer-funded pensions, our rulers couldn’t give a toss as they’ll all live like multi-millionaires at our expense till the day they die.
By David Craig, on July 31st, 2014 Oh dear, the Israelis are making a complete hash of things. International opinion seems to be firmly on the side of the Palestinians and I fear we may have reached what is fashionably called a ‘tipping point’. If the apparently one-sided carnage in Gaza continues, the world will become ever more anti-Israeli and pro-Palestinian. The consequence will be that the world will happily look the other way as the Iranians develop their ‘God Bomb’. And then, when the Iranians decide to use their ‘God Bomb’, much of the world will think, ‘well the Jews deserved it’.
While I understand the Israelis’ fear of extinction, I don’t think they’ve thought through the longer-term implications of their current Gaza action. These are not going to be that great for the continuing survival of Israel.
Meanwhile, understandably after some of the scenes we’ve seen on TV, some in the totally corrupt UN are calling for Israel to be prosecuted for ‘war crimes’ after the attacks on several UN-protected schools.
But as people like the (IMHO) ranting, frothing Jew-hater, Channel 4 newsreader Jon Snow, with some justification fulminate against Israel, here’s a story none of the British broadcasting media would touch with a 50-foot barge-pole. Apparently the wonderful Isl*m*c State (formerly known as ISIS) have published a 30-minute video showing the joys of life under their benign, tolerant rule.
