So, the venerable national treasure Sir David Attenborough was back on our screens last night predicting total catastrophe if we humans fail to act on Climate Change. He gave us all the usual warnings – “right now we are facing our greatest threat in thousands of years – climate change” and “there isn’t much time left” and “the science is clear that urgent action is needed” and of course “we are facing a man-made disaster on a global scale”. But these predictions of total climate catastrophe have a long and not very honourable history.
The prophets of doom?
In 1982, the UN announced a two-decade tipping point for action on environmental issues. Mostafa Tolba, executive director of the UN Environment Program (UNEP), warned on May 11, 1982, that the “world faces an ecological disaster as final as nuclear war within a couple of decades unless governments act now.” According to Tolba, lack of action would bring “by the turn of the century, an environmental catastrophe which will witness devastation as complete, as irreversible as any nuclear holocaust.”
So, according to this (IMHO) useless parasitic buffoon, by 2002 we should have been deep in climate doodoo.
In 1989, the UN was still trying to sell “a coming climate catastrophe” to the public. In July 1989, Noel Brown, the then-director of the New York office of UNEP was warning of a “10-year window of opportunity to solve” global warming. According to the article: “A senior U.N. environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000. Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of ‘eco-refugees,’ threatening political chaos.”
So, we should have seen this disaster scenario by 2002, about 17 years ago. I’m still waiting.
By 2006 the situation was apparently becoming critical as Al Gore explained in his fantasy film “An Inconvenient Truth”. According to Gore we had just 10 years left to save the planet.
But in 2007, seven years after that supposed 2002 climate catastrophe hadn’t happened, Rajendra Pachauri, then the extremely well-paid chief of the UN IPPC, declared 2012 the climate deadline by which it was imperative to act: “If there’s no action before 2012, that’s too late. What we do in the next two to three years will determine our future. This is the defining moment.”
In 2009 our very own jet-setting multi-millionaire Prince Charles was apparently also an expert on climatology just like jet-setting multi-millionaire Al Gore. Jet-setting multi-millionaire Charles originally announced in March 2009 that we had “less than 100 months to alter our behavior before we risk catastrophic climate change.”
Later that year, at the UN climate summit in Copenhagen in 2009, Al Gore sought UN climate agreement immediately. “We have to do it this year. Not next year, this year,” he demanded. “And of course the clock is ticking because Mother Nature does not do bailouts.”
Sounds familiar?
In fact 2009 seems to have been a popular year for climate catastrophe predictions. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon announced his own deadline in August 2009, when he warned of “incalculable” suffering without a UN climate deal in December 2009.
At the UN climate summit in Copenhagen in 2009, Prince Charles jetted in with the usual retinue of flunkies to warn us: “The grim reality is that our planet has reached a point of crisis and we have only seven years before we lose the levers of control.”
In 2010, the Prince of Wales said, “Ladies and gentlemen we now have only 86 months left before we reach the tipping point.”
But in 2012, the UN gave Planet Earth another four-year reprieve. UN Foundation president and former U.S. Senator Tim Wirth called Obama’s re-election the “last window of opportunity” to get it right on climate change.
By 2014, a clearly frustrated Prince Charles seemed to abandon the countdown, announcing, “We are running out of time. How many times have I found myself saying this over recent years?”
In 2017, Prince Charles’s one-hundred-month deadline finally expired. What did Charles have to say? Was he giving up? Did he proclaim the end times for the planet? Far from it. Two years earlier, in 2015, Prince Charles abandoned his hundred-month countdown and generously gave the world a reprieve by extending his climate tipping point another thirty-five years, to the year 2050! In a July 2015 interview “His Royal Highness warns that we have just 35 years to save the planet from catastrophic climate change.” So, instead of facing the expiration of his climate catastrophe deadline head on, the sixty-nine-year-old Charles kicked the climate doomsday deadline down the road until 2050 when he would be turning the ripe age of 102 and thus probably wouldn’t be around to see that his prediction was total bollox
And we mustn’t forget top UK scientist Sir David King who warned in 2004 that that by 2100 Antarctica could be the only habitable continent. Like Charles, Sir David won’t be around in 2100 making his prediction extremely convenient for him and his career.
The above is just a small selection of warnings from Climate Change doom-mongers.
Sir David – will you dare tell the truth?
When I heard that the great Sir David would be doing his bit for Climate Change, I wondered if he would dare deal with the following issues:
why were most scientists predicting a new Ice Age in the 1970s which would lead to crop failure, starvation and a mass movement of millions of people from the freezing North southwards?
why have all the previous predictions of Climate Armageddon been total rubbish?
why haven’t the Himalayan glaciers disappeared as was predicted by the IPCC?
why was the Arctic not ice-free by the summer of 2013 as was predicted by the IPCC in 2007 – a claim parrotted by loads of politicians?
why have the Warmies felt the need to fiddle the figures and falsify the data for decades?
why does he appear to accept the “97% of scientists” claim when we now know it was based on massive manipulation of the data? (I have explained how this was done in a previous blog)
will he face up to the fact that the main problem facing mankind is not from the West with its declining population and reducing use of fossil fuels, but from explosive population growth in Africa where the population doubles every 22 years?
But Sir David’s programme avoided mentioning any of the above issues. Instead it just produced the usual turgid pile of foul-smelling BBC Warmie propaganda with loads of fancy camera work to frighten the shallow snowflakes who apparently subscribe to the new Man-Made Global Warming religion. Even worse, the programme featured people whose work on climate has been totally and comprehensively discredited, but didn’t feature anyone who was critical of the Man-Made Global Warming group-think.
But perhaps the most disturbing part of Sir David’s programme was that the only temperature chart it used (if I remember correctly) was the one starting in 1850 which shows considerable warming. Had Sir David’s programme used the chart of the Earth’s temperature over the last 100,000 years or over the last 415,000 years, we would have seen that today’s warming is just part of a regular cycle and is nothing out of the ordinary. All very odd, don’t you think?
Sir David – I question your objectivity! And I question the BBC’s objectivity!
Today I wanted to warn readers about the most serious health threat facing the world. No, it’s not Ebola. And it’s not AIDS. And it’s not a new strain of Bird Flu. It’s not even growing resistance to antibiotics. The greatest health threat to the human population now is Crazy Lefty Syndrome.
Crazy Lefty Syndrome seems to mostly affect the young. The vast majority of older people, with experience of life, tend to have some form of immunity to Crazy Lefty Syndrome. Moreover, you’re much more likely to catch Crazy Lefty Syndrome if you’ve attended one of the Snowflake Indoctrination Centres which used to be called ‘universities’. Unless we soon find a cure for Crazy Lefty Syndrome, we could see the complete collapse of Western civilisation and the spread of civil war, pestilence and famine across the countries where Crazy Lefty Syndrome is most prevalent.
The symptoms of Crazy Left Syndrome

The video features a kindly 74-year-old Jewish man who goes to have his regular coffee at his local Starbucks. Unfortunately for him, he is wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat. While minding his own business he is accosted by an individual, who might once have been female. But, being a local activist, she/it has very successfully tried to make herself/itself as ugly and as unattractive as possible. Once again proving that old adage that progressive activism makes you ugly:
The female/thing is called Rebecca Parker Mankey. During the encounter she tried to get the other customers to rise up and force the 74-year-old man out of Starbucks claiming he hated brown people and was “Nazi scum” (an odd insult to hurl at an ageing Jew). She/it left the Starbucks only to return a few minutes later to vent her/its bile at the man again.
Later she took to Facebook to inform the world of her glorious fight against the man and she threatened “I am going to publicly shame him in town and try to get him fired and kicked out of every club he is in. I am going to go to his house march up and down carrying a sign that says he hates black people. I am going to organize protests where he works to make him feel as unsafe as he made every brown person he met today.”
When people started criticising her for her behaviour, she claimed with the usual Crazy Lefty Syndrome logic “I am right and those attacking me are wrong”.
Although this incident took place in the USA, you’ll see many people in the UK also infected by Crazy Lefty Syndrome. In fact, there are hundreds of them bringing chaos to London commuters at the moment. But we’ll discuss that tomorrow.

I imagine we’ve all had bad days at work. But I can’t help feeling a little sorry for the French workman who caused more than £600m damage to one of the most important buildings in the world, the 850-year-old Notre Dame in Paris, by either forgetting to turn off some equipment or by connecting up some wires badly. This morning he really must be thinking “merde!“ and “double merde!”
The South African army?
Talking of “merde”, I came across this brief (3 minutes) video clip of the South African army on a training exercise. The South African army used to be considered pretty tough and effective. But that was many years ago. The army would have changed a lot since the wonderful, incompetent and utterly corrupt ANC came to power and made its insiders very very rich indeed.
Being a progressive, brain-dead, virtue-signalling, stop-climate-change, tear-down-borders, build-bridges, hug-a-rapefugee, snowflake libtard, I, of course, don’t subscribe to the many studies that suggest different races have different IQ levels and that national wealth and success of countries is linked to the average IQ of their citizens:

It does seem that the fire was caused by an accident during restoration work. Probably some dopey Froggy workman called Gaston throwing away a half-smoked Gauloise or something like that.

Cell of French women guided by Isis behind failed Notre Dame attack
A cell of radicalised French women guided by Islamic State commanders in Syria was behind a failed terrorist attack near Paris’s Notre Dame Cathedral last weekend and planned another violent attack this week before they were intercepted by police, the Paris prosecutor has said.
The women, aged 19, 23 and 39, were arrested in Boussy-Saint-Antoine, a small town 19 miles (30km) south-east of Paris, on Thursday night after they were linked to the discovery of a car packed with gas cylinders parked near the cathedral last weekend.
It may also be relevant to mention that in 2017, 1,045 of France’s 42,258 churches were vandalised and desecrated. That’s around 20 a week. In 2018, the figure was 875 French churches vandalised and desecrated – ‘only’ 17 a week.
Oh, sorry. In its extensive reporting of the Notre Dame fire, did the BBC ‘forget’ to mention the daily attacks on French churches? How surprising!
These attacks tend to include smashing statues and crosses, breaking stained glass windows, smearing excrement on the walls often in the shape of a cross and the occasional bit of arson. Of course, we don’t know who is responsible for this historically high level of attacks on France’s churches. They clearly have nothing to do with ever-increasing immigration by members of our favourite religion. To suggest that would be racist and inciting hatred.

March of 2019 has been the first month in more than three years in which the Swedish southern city of Malmö – a virtual no-go area for police, emergency services and white Swedes – has not had any reported shootings, according to police.
The last month in which the city saw no reported shootings was in September of 2015, the authorities said, adding that they were pleased there appeared to be a break in such incidents for the month, broadcaster Sveriges Radioreports.
Jonas Karlberg, group manager at the investigation section for serious crime in Malmö, commented: “We had an incredible number of shootings in 2016, 2017 and also to some extent in 2018. So it is clear that as long as there are no shots fired in Malmö we are incredibly satisfied”.
Let me put this into context. The population of Malmö is about 317,000. In comparison, the population of Nottingham is about 316,000 and Coventry is about 326,000. Yet, as far as I know, there isn’t a shooting every month in either Nottingham or Coventry.

This respite from gun crime did not last beyond the month of March, however, with an incident taking place earlier last week on Wednesday night in the heavily-migrant populated suburb of Rosengård(an area near the centre of Malmö) sometimes referred to as a “no-go zone”.
Police say that a gunman shot at a residential building and that there were people home during the shooting, although no-one was injured.
The decline in fatal shootings in Malmö comes after a record number of shooting deaths across Sweden in 2018, with Stockholm police expert Gunnar Appelgren describing the country as being akin to a “state at war” in December due to the high levels of gang conflict

Yesterday’s blog about Britain’s “syphilitic whore” might have been a bit strong for some of my more sensitive readers. So today I’ll tone everything down. In fact, to calm everybody, here’s a nice picture of some puppies:
Over one million more snowflake voters?
Talking of puppies who know nothing about life, today I wanted to assess the effect on any future EU in/out Referendum of around 766,000 young people becoming voters each year and of half of all school-leavers going to Uni. (I believe it’s now called “Uni” because most of today’s graduates can’t spell a big word like “university”).
The vote in the 2016 EU Referendum was 17.4 million for Leave and 16.1 million for Remain. So, there were 1.3 million more people voting Leave than Remain.
Currently in the UK, there are around 766,000 people in each year age group from 16 to 20. In the 3 to 4 years between the first (2016) Referendum and the second (2019/2020) Referendum another 2.3 to 3.1 million young people would have got the vote. But how would they vote? Leave or Remain?
Of these 766,000 in each year age group from 16 to 20, around 380,000 start supposedly ‘studying’ at supposed ‘universities’ each year. Of course, many of these institutions calling themselves ‘universities’ are nothing like the real universities people in the 1960s and 1970s attended. Apart from about 50 to 60 well-known prestigious institutions, many of our 166 so-called ‘universities’ have dumbed down their courses to attract as many £9,000+ a year fee-paying students as possible or else are just jumped-up polys and technical colleges handing out often pointless degrees like confetti to anyone who can almost spell their name correctly. They were allowed to call themselves ‘universities’ so our rulers could congratulate themselves on how brilliantly they improved social mobility by hugely increasing graduate numbers. But in addition to offering a pale imitation of an education, many universities have become snowflake indoctrination centres spewing out graduates who all think alike, who are all progressive, libtard, globalist, hug-a-rapefugee, stop Global Warming, “we-love-EU” clones.
I think we can safely assume that at least 70% of these highly-educated, independent-thinking individuals would be bothered to vote in a second Referendum and could work out where the polling station was and even where to put their cross. Of these 70% I imagine almost all would be Remain voters. That gives us between 800,000 and one million more Remain voters than there were during the 2016 Referendum.
Then you have to add in all those who became voters but didn’t have the good fortune to attend one of our 166 snowflake indoctrination centres. Although I have no good data points, I’ll assume that 40% of these folks would vote in the second referendum and that two thirds of this 40% would vote Remain. That gives us another 300,000 to 400,000 possible Remain voters.
Then you have to factor in the 598,000 people in the UK who would have passed on to somewhere better each year between the first (2016) Referendum and a second (2019/2020) Referendum. A majority of these would have been Leave voters. But now they’ve left, they won’t be voting Leave again.
Of course, you can change these figures any way you want by making different assumptions about the percentage of people in each age group who would vote and how they would vote. But this simple number crunch does suggest that there would be sufficient numbers of new Remain voters and sufficiently fewer Leave voters by the time of a 2019/2020 second Referendum to ensure a Remain victory

The “Three Options” trick
Then we have a little trick our rulers might play on us. Yesterday on the BBC’s Daily Politics a Remainer – a certain Baroness Kennedy, if I remember correctly – suggested there should be a second referendum with three options;
leave with no deal
leave with the Government’s proposed deal
remain in the EU
Smart huh? Running a three-option referendum would ensure the Leave vote was split between the two Leave options allowing our rulers to claim that the majority wanted to remain in the EU.
The good lady also suggested (as far as I understood) that, as there were many ‘very experienced’ politicians and businesspeople in Parliament, then they, rather than us useless, pig-ignorant, unwashed plebs should make the decision about whether the UK should remain in the EU.
Come on, admit it. We ordinary people have let the ruling elites down by voting the ‘wrong’ way in the 2016 Referendum. It’s now time for us to bow to the superior wisdom of our elites (like the aforementioned honourable Baroness) and let them decide our future for us.

Some of the 17.4 million people who voted to leave the corrupt, sclerotic, undemocratic EU may have difficulty finding words to adequately describe the ever-worsening utter humiliation of our country as the possibly worthless, lying, duplicitous, incompetent, cowardly waste of skin PM Theresa May prostrates herself at the feet of her German boss Merkel and her boss’s fawning French poodle Macron. One Tory MP said “the Maybot has gone haywire and no one can find the off switch”. But I found this rather less flattering and rather more colourful description of the ghastly May’s latest antics floating around cyberspace:
During the Brexit surrender, May has acted like a syphilitic whore trying to get her pimp to take her back. Why should any European Leader or the EU itself have any respect for the UK when we send Mad May out to represent our country?
(I, of course, believe that Theresa May is a totally honest, supremely talented individual who never lies and who should be kept as our PM for the next 2,000 years)
But some cynics may feel that May is more than desperate. Such people may believe that May knows her political career is over. She knows she’s a political and social leper. Once she’s thrown out as PM, nobody will want to go near her. There won’t be a seat in the Lords. There won’t be a well-paid job with a six-figure salary in an American bank for the useless, treacherous, dishonest Theresa May. She’s a failure. She must know she’s a failure. She must know she’ll go down as the worst prime minister in British history. Lord North, previously viewed as Britain’s worst ever PM, only gave away the American colonies. Theresa May gave away her own country. With Brexit, Britain needed a Churchill, but we got a Chamberlain. We needed a patriot, but we got a quisling – a duplicitous quisling promoted far beyond her level of competence.
However, rather than honourably admitting her failure and bowing out to hand over to someone more competent, May is prepared to do anything (however damaging this is to Britain) to be able to claim that she ‘delivered Brexit‘.
Whatever European leaders demand – BBBJ, CIM, Pearl Necklace, OWO, ATM, DP, TP, DVDA, Golden Shower, Pig Roast, RTF, Roman Shower, WT – Britain’s leprotic, “syphilitic whore” will prostrate herself and do anything just to get something she can claim vaguely looks and smells like Brexit.
How could a once great country like ours have sunk so low?
The Tories have misjudged us
As for the Tories, they think they’re going to get away with their betrayal of 17.4 million Leavers. The Tories believe that, once they get rid of May and install a new leader, voters will forgive and forget. They imagine that at the next election, faced with the likelihood of a Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbott government, voters will hold their noses and vote Conservative.
Well, I have a message for them – you’ve misjudged us. We’re not going to forgive and forget. We’re not going to hold our noses and vote for you to avoid the disastrous left-wing fanatic Corbyn. In fact, millions of once loyal Tory voters are so angry at your lies and incompetence that even the prospect of Corbyn turning Britain into a European version of Venezuela will not be sufficient to get them out to vote for you.
The Tories have not only destroyed Brexit, they have destroyed themselves and probably Britain too.
If I was Corbyn, I’d already be surfing the Internet to choose the curtains and furniture for Number 10.
Today I’d like to follow on from yesterday’s blog about how the affluent West is sinking into decadence, moral atrophy and its own (probably very bloody) demise.
It seems amazing that the vast majority of people have no idea at all of how the West is committing suicide. I guess this is what Douglas Murray writes about in his book “The Strange Death of Europe“. Yet, looking at history, it seems clear to me that our rulers are taking us on a downwards path to our own destruction – invasion and enslavement or worse. Here’s a comment from a reader of yesterday’s blog:
We oldies who were taught history at school, who learned about the rise and fall of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire and its decline and fall, have been saying this for several decades. It took Europe more than half a millennium even to begin to drag itself out of the Dark Ages, the period of artistic, scientific and cultural decline which followed the end of the Roman Empire. The developed West as we all know it is hurtling headlong towards its own demise and it is the fault of its self-styled intelligentsia, cultural and political “elite”, who are force-feeding the young a diet of self-absorption, endless introspection and self-indulgence.
A society which positively encourages young children to question their gender identity and to undergo hormone treatment and surgical modification of their sexual organs before they have even had a chance to become sufficiently sexually mature to appreciate what those organs are for, is indeed truly sick. The early news this morning briefly mentioned that a doctor involved in “gender modification” of children in the UK has quit his post, having become concerned for the welfare of the thousands of children he is being expected to “treat”.
I think we all know which culture will take over the West when the end finally comes. Given the enormous educational gulf between the two competing cultures, the reluctance of one of them to regard its females as anything other than baby-producing machines, and the eagerness with which political leaders are positively encouraging its infiltration into Europe, it is inevitable that in the future the entire world will sink into a state comparable to Medieval Europe, when poverty, starvation, high child mortality, bloody and brutal war and early death for all prevailed. In short, like most of Africa is today. Oh, Brave New World………
What is probably most astonishing is that the ruling elites seem to hate probably the most successful civilisation the world has ever produced and are desperate to wreck it. You just have to do a search on YouTube for Alexandria Occasio-Cortez. She’s the new and youngest member of the US Congress, she’s a Democrat, she’s woke, she’s a rabid Warmie and Socialist and she’s a magnet for brainwashed, virtue-signalling, identity-politics “everyone is a victim of white supremacism”, snowflake votes. Moreover, she strikes terror in the Democrat leadership as, whatever she says and however stupid and ill-informed it is, they dare not contradict her for fear of appearing out-of-touch and losing the identity-politics victim and snowflake vote. (She’s also possibly Trump’s greatest asset to be re-elected in 2020 as many Americans will balk at her loony, extreme, leftist views)
But we have people in Europe just as deranged as the lovely Alexandria Occasio-Cortex. Here’s a Green member of the Hamburg Parliament in Germany extolling a wondrous future when European countries will have moved beyond multi-culturalism to what she calls “super-culturalism” – a time when white ethnic Europeans will be minorities in their own countries!
This (IMHO) arrogant, self-righteous, virtue-signalling buffoon somehow believes that this “super-culturalism” will bring the perfect society. However, some of us understand that it will only bring social breakdown, tribal conflict, civil war, the destruction of Western civilisation and several centuries of a new Dark Ages.
Perhaps in future blogs I’ll try to analyse how anyone could possibly think the way this (IMHO) total cretin thinks. Anyway, enjoy a glimpse of the madness that seems to be affecting our ruling elites:
