In wasteful Washington the dollars flow like water during a flood

America may be in recession. There may be over 40 million unemployed. But here in Washington DC you wouldn’t think there was anything wrong. The $1,000 to $2,000 a night hotels are packed full. The expensive restaurants are overflowing and turning customers away. The money is flowing like water during a biblical flood. Why? Because here almost everyone is being paid using taxpayers’ money. Here taxpayers foot the luxury hotel bills. Here taxpayers pay for the expensive meals and vintage wines. Here everything is chargeable to American taxpayers.

Over 100 years ago an American president warned that people in the Washington village partying with taxpayers’ money can forget what life is like for ordinary Americans. So here’s a message for ordinary Americans – Mr Obama and all the politicians and bureaucrats here in wasteful Washington don’t give a flying f–k about you. They’re only interested in furthering their own careers and filling their own pockets with taxpayers’ money.
