Last weekend seems to have been rather busy for gentlemen called ‘Mohammed’ or ‘Muhammad’ or similar names.
Mohammed 1 – Leicester Square stabbing
In a statement on Saturday night, the Met said: “Mohammed Rahman, 24, (31.12.97) of Westbourne Park Road, W2 was charged on Saturday, 17 September, with attempted murder and Section 18 GBH with intent.
“The attempted murder charge relates to a male police constable, the GBH to a female police constable.
“He was also charged with assault (ABH) and two counts of threatening a person in a public place with a bladed article. These charges relate to three other police constables.
“In addition, he was charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article.”
Muhammad 2 – Attacking the Queen’s coffin
A man has been charged after footage emerged of someone appearing to rush towards the Queen’s coffin and catafalque. The incident, which happened at around 10pm on Friday, shocked mourners who were paying their respects to the Queen in Westminster Hall:

Muhammad Khan, 28, of Barleycorn Way in Tower Hamlets, was charged with an offence under the Public Order Act on Saturday.
Why did I suspect both crimes involved ‘Mohammeds’?
In the initial news stories of the above two incidents, the police merely reported that “a man” had been detained. But the police gave no details about the man’s name nor ethnicity. That made me slightly suspicious about who might have been involved. So I did a quick search on both incidents on Google. But again came up none the wiser as most mainstream media reports stuck with the “a man” without giving any further details.
Being a nasty, cynical person, I did a further Google search this time including the name “Mohammed” in the search and finally found that the Leicester Square stabbing had resulted in the arrest of Mohammed Rahman and the attack on the Queen’s coffin had led to the arrest of Muhammad Khan.
How drearily predictable that both incidents had been carried out by our friends from our favourite religion.
Mohammed 3 – the Leicester race riots
As for the Leicester race riots between our friends from the Religion of Wonderfulness and Hindus. From what I understand the spark which caused these was when some members of the world’s most admired and peaceful religion defiled a Hindu temple. I don’t know the names of the defilers and the rioters as the useless Leicester policepersons have not released the names of those they have reluctantly arrested. But I think it’s fairly safe to assume that some of them would also be called ‘Mohammed’.
How lucky we are in Britain that our rulers keep improving our country by forcing Third-World multi-cultural enrichment down our throats.
Out of respect for the late Queen, I’ll delay writing a blog about our new king.
No room at the inn?
So instead here are just a couple of fun facts about Martha’s Vineyard – the island which welcomes refugees and migrants:
As you’ll know, Martha’s Vineyard welcomes refugees and migrants so much that, when Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sent just 50 Venezuelan migrants to the island, the residents called in the US National Guard who quickly rounded up the Venezuelan migrants and shipped them off the island to a military base on Cape Cod.
The reason the Martha’s Vineyard authorities gave for throwing the 50 Venezuelan migrants off their island was that the island didn’t have the facilities to house the 50 migrants. So, let’s test that excuse.
The full-time, all-year population of Martha’s Vineyard is somewhere between 17,000 and 20,000 residents. (Different sources give different figures). However, Martha’s Vineyard is a popular holiday destination for many Americans and, during the height of the summer holiday season, the population rockets up to over 100,000. (Some sources even suggest it could be as high as 200,000).
If you look at websites promoting holidays on the island, many boast about the huge variety of accommodation available for visitors – hotels, hostels, lodges, campsites, homes for rent etc. Even taking the low figure for high-season population (100,000), this means that there are at least 80,000 beds available for visitors. Yet, in spite of the available 80,000 extra beds, the island’s mostly wealthy and mostly progressive, liberal, holier-than-thou, virtue-signalling, preachy residents claim they can’t possibly accommodate a mere 50 Venezuelan migrants.
If anything, Martha’s Vineyard has better facilities for housing migrants than America’s major cities most of whom have massive homelessness problems:
Looking at the jaw-dropping hypocrisy of Martha’s Vineyard residents, one might be tempted to say “Pass the sick bag, Alice!” as Private Eye often wrote.
And anyway, the Obamas have a massive mansion and 30 acres of seafront estate on the island:
A cynic might even suggest that Barack and the fragrant Michelle could probably have put up the 50 Venezuelans on their luxury island enclave if they really cared about anyone else except for their own wealth and privilege.
But to return to the tale of how Florida Governor Ron DeSantis shipped about 50 Venezuelan illegal migrants to upmarket Martha’s Vineyard, you’ll probably know that the good (and very rich) folk of Martha’s Vineyard called in the US national guard and had the migrants rounded up and shipped off to an army base. No doubt the Venezuelans will then be sent somewhere else. After all, you wouldn’t expect people like Obama and his wealthy, progressive, liberal, preachy chums to allow unsightly illegal migrants to crowd up the streets of their luxury enclave.
Perhaps amusingly, here’s a sign posted on a building in Martha’s Vineyard before DeSantis sent the illegals there:
Is anyone surprised at the hypocrisy of the ever-so-liberal, holier-than-thou, virtue-signalling, migrant-hugging elites when they actually come face to face with some real migrants?
Let’s start with this simple chart. It comes from the BBC. But despite its dubious origin, I think we can trust its overall message. The chart shows the levels of illegal immigration to the US under President Trump and then Biden:
Trump tried to reduce illegal immigration by building a border wall, instituting a ‘stay in Mexico’ policy whereby immigration requests would only be processed for people who remained in Mexico and by deporting any illegal immigrants convicted of serious crimes.
The Democrats repeatedly tried to block Trump’s attempts to control illegal immigration and many Democrat-run cities declared themselves as ‘sanctuary cities’. These were cities which limited their cooperation with the national government’s effort to enforce immigration law thus preventing illegals from being deported.
Throwing open the border?
Once Trump was ousted and the Democrats took over, the message went out that the US borders were open and anyone could just walk into America. Immigration officials encountered more than 1.7 million migrants along the U.S. border in 2021, three times the number they reported in 2020. So far in 2022 I believe that around 2 million may have illegally crossed into the US.
Given that almost all these people will eventually become Democrat voters, it’s in the Democrats’ interest to throw open the borders to anyone who wants to escape the corrupt, venal, violent, cartel-run, failed-state hell-holes of Latin and Central America.
You want them? You can have them
The main states along the US southern borders – Florida, Texas and Arizona – are (I think) run by Republican governors. And these governors are getting more than mightily annoyed that they are expected to cope with the teeming millions of illegal immigrants that the Democrats (who all live far from the southern border) are bringing into the country.
So now the border-state governors have decided to let the Democrats experience the joys of open-border immigration. They have started to fly and bus illegal migrants into Democrat-run cities. Hundreds have been sent to sanctuary cities like New York, Washington DC and Chicago. This week two bus-loads of illegals were dumped onto the street where Vice President Kamala Harris lives. And two plane-loads of migrants were flown to Martha’s Vineyard – an area where the rich and famous holiday and live. For example, that’s where Obama – the guy who warned us we’d all be wiped out by rising sea levels – has his $12m beachside mansion.
Pure magic!
The statement made by the spokesperson for Florida governor Ron DeSantis is pure magic:
Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations. States like Massachusetts, New York, and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as “sanctuary states” and support for the Biden Administration’s open border policies.
Squealing like stuck pigs
The arrival of hundreds of illegal immigrants into their wonderful ‘sanctuary cities’ has got the Democrats squealing like stuck pigs. They’ve been calling the shipping of illegals into their backyards “cruel” and “inhumane”. Clearly narcissist, virtue-signalling, holier-than-thou Democrats like the idea of open borders when they don’t have to experience the results. But when the illegals turn up on their doorsteps, they’re not quite so keen on the idea. In the immortal words of Dads’ Army’s Lance Corporal Jones:

In these grim times, it’s a delight to bring some good news. Though the good news wasn’t easy to find. But fortunately I came across this story in the Syrian Observer.
The “Caravan of Light” is coming
A “Caravan of Light” campaign has been launched by Syrian migrants in Turkey to migrate towards Europe.:
The caravan’s plans are being worked out via a Telegram channel, which was set up six days ago and is followed by nearly 70,000 people. The organizers are calling on people to bring sleeping bags, tents, life jackets, water, canned food, and first aid kits.
The French news agency AFP quoted the organizers as saying: “The convoy will be divided into groups of 50 people, each led by a supervisor.”
It appears that the Ottoman emperor is planning to send around a million Syrian migrants ‘voluntarily’ back from Turkey to Syria. But large numbers of these migrants would rather go to Europe where they can get free housing, free healthcare, free food, free money, free everything while also living off benefits and crime while entertaining themselves by gang-raping white girls and women:

No doubt there will be many Europeans who will be delighted at this news. I certainly am:
Perhaps we’ll even see Sir Kneeler Starmer and his sidekick, the Ginger Growler, down on Britain’s beaches welcoming members of the “Caravan of Light” to their new lives in the UK?
But I’m surprised that the BBC and C4 News and the Guardian and the other mainstream media haven’t picked up this exciting, heart-warming story.
Still, once the first “Caravan of Light” reaches Europe, there will no doubt be many many more.
I imagine that the UK’s useless, UK-hating Border Farce and the totally discredited RNLI will both have to buy a few new boats if they are to offer tens of thousands of members of the “Caravan of Light” luxury free ferry rides from French beaches to Benefits Britain.

A few days ago, a black gentleman, Chris Kaba, was shot dead by police in London. Immediately we were told that Mr Kaba was a wonderful human being who was murdered by racist police and the BLM mob started their usual game of accusing supposedly racist police of murdering an innocent black man – a kind of British George Floyd.
Some people have said that Chris Kaba was a rapper known as Madix or Mad Itch 67. But Kim Alleyne, whose daughter Karimah Waite was engaged to Mr Kaba, said this was not true and that he had an apprenticeship to become an architect. She said: “He was so loved. He was so funny. He was super kind. Crazy. He was always happy. He’d do anything for you”.
What Mr Kaba’s family ‘forgot’ to mention was that he had been sent to prison in 2019 for a firearms offence, that the car he was driving had been involved in a firearms incident a couple of days earlier and that, when the police tried to get Mr Kaba to stop, he had sped off and was only halted when the police deliberately rammed his car to prevent him escaping.
Diversity is our strength

Hopefully you’ll have noticed how wonderfully diverse they are. Actually, they’re not really that diverse at all. There aren’t that many white British in spite of white British making up around 43% of London’s population.

But who is doing all this killing?
Of course, just because blacks make up a disproportionate percentage of murder victims, this doesn’t mean that the perpetrators are disproportionately from the black community.
So we need to find out who the murderers are. Thankfully, a press release from the London Assembly can help clarify the issue: “Despite making up only 13% of London’s total population, black Londoners account for 45% of London’s knife murder victims, 61% of knife murder perpetrators and 53% of knife crime perpetrators”.

Not too many John Smiths or David Joneses amongst that lot. Of course, we don’t know who is doing all this killing. But in the few cases which have been solved, one could get the impression that multi-cultural enrichers figure rather prominently amongst the perpetrators.
Which black lives matter?
So, it would seem that black lives don’t really matter to the BLM mob when our black friends are killed by other blacks. But there is BLM outrage when someone who is a convicted criminal driving a car involved in a firearms incident is shot by police. Perhaps if Mr Kaba had not previously been convicted for a firearms offence, had not driven a car recently involved in a firearms incident and had stopped when asked to by police, he wouldn’t have been shot? Though this doesn’t seem to have occurred to the BLM mob.

Let me explain:
Fond of Lying flattening the EU’s curve
European Commission President Ursula Fond of Lying has called for the implementation of “mandatory” energy rationing throughout the EU during peak hours in order to “flatten the curve” of demand amid the largely self-inflicted energy crisis befalling the bloc.
During a speech proposing energy rationing measures to be put in place before the winter months when demand peaks, the always perfectly coiffed EU president said: “During peak demand, the expensive gas comes into the market. So what we have to do is flatten the curve to avoid the peak demands, we will propose a mandatory target for reducing electricity use at peak hours and we will work very closely with the member states to achieve this.”
I don’t know what a “mandatory target for reducing electricity use at peak hours” means in reality. But it sounds an awful lot like energy rationing with energy users being penalised or even cut off if they dare use what Fond of Lying considers too much energy at peak usage hours.
Is Switzerland leading the way?
Perhaps we can get an idea of what a “mandatory target for reducing electricity use at peak hours” means by looking at what’s happening in Switzerland?
Under proposed legislation Swiss lawmakers are preparing to set legal limits on the use of heating during the winter should the country face energy shortages. Under the plans, gas-heated buildings would be capped at 19C (66.2F) and water heating up to 60C (140F). Saunas and swimming pools would also be forced by government diktat to remain cold.
People committing “heat crimes” – heating their homes or businesses above the level dictated by the Swiss government – could face daily fines of 30 francs ($30/£27) to a maximum of 3,000 francs. Fines for companies that deliberately breach the regulations will likely be much higher.
Most worryingly, individuals who are found to have intentionally violated the energy rationing limit could be jailed for up to three years, the Swiss German-language daily newspaper Blickreported.
Quite how the new heat crimes will be policed is not clear. After all, the Swiss Minister of Economic Affairs Guy Parmelin attempted to downplay the draconian measures, saying last week: “We are not a police state. The police will not check everyone – but there can be selective checks.”
There will be no energy rationing in Britain
Our great new leader – Ursula Truss – has reassured us that there will be no energy rationing in Britain this winter. But we hardly need any energy rationing. With households and businesses paying more than twice as much for energy as they did before the new energy price cap, people will cut down on energy use themselves with out being forced by the prospect of becoming accused of “heat crimes”.
A crisis a year keeps the people in fear?
Our rulers got a taste for total control over us during the Chinese Wuhan lab-leaked plague crisis. Their methods for controlling us are described quite well in the book A State of Fear: How the UK government weaponised fear during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since then, our rulers seem rather reluctant to give up control over us and let us free again. You’ll all know the rhyming adage “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”. I wonder whether an appropriate adage for our times might be “a crisis a year keeps the people in fear”. After all, when Covid morphed into Omicron, our rulers tried to use that as an excuse to lock us down again in spite of South African doctors, who first identified Omicron, reassuring us that Omicron was rather harmless.
When the Omicron trick didn’t work, our rulers seized upon the great Monkeypox plague as a pretext for imposing new restrictions on our lives. That didn’t work either. So, now our rulers have fallen back on that old faithful – catastrophic anthropogenic climate change.
Here’s Fond of Lying doing what she does best
Just to finish off, here’s Fond of Lying blaming Russia and climate change for the coming energy crisis and, of course, not mentioning that the underlying cause is actually the West’s ludicrously-stupid and economically-destructive net-zero policies.
Having a bit of time on my hands, I decided to make a 30-second TV ad to try to sell a few copies of my recent book – THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS.
Even just a few years ago, the idea of trying to advertise your books on TV would have seemed ridiculous. For a start, you’d probably have had to pay an advertising agency over £30,000 just to produce a 30-second TV-quality ad. Then the cost of running the ad would have been in the hundreds of thousands of pounds. But things have changed.
Now you can make a TV ad for just a few hundred pounds. For example, you could choose a popular song and buy the karaoke musical version for less than £2. You could then write new words to the song promoting your book and, from a freelancers’ website like PeoplePerHour, find an excellent singer to record your version for about £80.
After that you’ll need some visuals. Again, using a freelancers’ website like PeoplePerHour, you can find a experienced graphic artist who, for a couple of hundred pounds, can put together 30 seconds of visuals telling viewers about your book and why they should buy it.
Previously there were two main problems with buying TV advertising spots. Firstly, they were hugely expensive costing thousands of pounds for each spot. And secondly, most were a waste of money as the majority of viewers wouldn’t have been in the target market for buying your book. As one business executive famously said “Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don’t know which half”.
But now there are so many TV channels, you can choose one that is much more likely to reach your target market than traditional mainstream TV stations. So, whether your subject is history or nature or geography or current affairs or arts and crafts or whatever, it should be possible to find a TV channel that is likely to attract viewers interested in that subject. Moreover, running a 30-second TV ad on some of these specialist channels can often cost only a couple of hundred pounds. So you can now reach a better-targeted group of potential customers at a much lower cost.
Being banned by GB News
I had planned to run the ad a couple of times on GB News during either the Nigel Farage or Mark Steyn shows to see whether it could pay for itself by selling a few books.
Any ads must be approved by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and any claims made by potential advertisers have to be substantiated. So I backed up my submission with around 70,000 words of text and over 100 charts, diagrams and scientific reports. However, when I submitted my proposed ad for approval, I was informed that ‘title of the book is misleading and socially irresponsible’ because ‘the Advertising Standards Authority has accepted that man made climate change is happening’.
As part of my ad being banned, I was referred to the ASA’s policies on climate change where the ASA states: ‘The ASA recognises that as governments set new and ambitious targets and as the scale of the challenge to avoid catastrophic climate change becomes ever clearer, advertising and, by extension, ad regulation needs to play its part in working towards agreed climate goals.’
How the ASA became a woke censor of ‘politically-incorrect’ opinions
I can understand that our advertising authorities would want to prevent ads from making false claims such as whether a certain drink will make you more attractive to potential partners or whether some brand of mineral water will make you into a sporting superstar. But now it seems that the ASA believes it has a role in deciding what issues may or may not be discussed.
The ‘scientific method’ involves a process of continually making and testing hypotheses so that human knowledge evolves. But the ASA, like the BBC, appears to be of the opinion that science is static and that new discoveries cannot be allowed to question previously-accepted assumptions even about a complex thermodynamic system such as the Earth’s climate. But even worse, not only does the ASA ban any ads questioning the climate-catastrophist cult, but, again like the BBC, it also claims it ‘needs to play its part in working towards agreed climate goals’ in order to ‘ avoid catastrophic climate change’.
It’s fortunate that we didn’t have the Advertising Standards Authority or the BBC in Copernicus’s time otherwise it might have taken us several hundred years more to discover that the Earth orbits around the Sun.

Qatar’s anti-corruption award
But first I thought I’d tell you about the wonderful anti-corruption award offered by the totally non-corrupt government of Qatar. You remember Qatar? Qatar is, of course, the footballing giant like Germany, Italy and Brazil which quite deservedly won the right to host the 2022 football world cup:
Naturally there are cynics who suggest that the Qatar bid was successful due to millions of lovely dollars in bribes being thrust into the offshore bank accounts of Blatter and all the other fine men (and women?) who decide where the football tournament should be held. But I despise such cynics. Don’t you?
Anyway, it appears that totally uncorrupt Qatar has an award for people around the world who successfully fight corruption:

We have seen this with:
the Chinese plague where anyone suggesting this accidentally leaked from a lab doing research on viruses funded by our friend Dr Frankenstein Fauci was lambasted as being crackpots and crazy
the fake miracle vaccines where anyone questioning the efficacy and safety of the miracle vaccines was ridiculed for being “anti-vaxxers” and a danger to public health
the way our rulers are deliberately pushing up the price of fuel to discourage us from owning cars and travelling on holiday
the way our rulers are deliberately pushing up the price of food by paying farmers to produce less food and even bankrupting those farmers still stubborn enough to persist with farming
So be prepared for the next onslaught on our increasingly limited, restricted and impoverished lives – an onslaught on what we can eat.
Insects are good for you
Over the last few years the media have been putting massive pressure on us with the message that meat is bad and vegetable-based foods are good. But this is only the start of the campaign to force us plebs to change our diets. For example, three weeks ago, the Sunday Times ran a full-page article on how jellyfish could be made into ‘nutritious’ food. In yesterday’s Sunday Times there was a big piece on using seaweed as food.
Then a couple of days ago, the Guardian ran an article headlined:
“UK urges hunger-stricken African nations to farm insects”
The Guardian article reported on how “Aid projects in DRC and Zimbabwe encourage rural inhabitants to eat insects rich in vitamins and minerals”
The article informed us that :
Edible insects have long been touted as a resource-efficient source of protein, requiring less land and water than conventional livestock. However, taste and cultural resistance have proved to be stumbling blocks in extending the practice in many parts of the world. In a move to realise the substantial on-paper benefits of insect-eating, a £50,000 UK aid project in the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) is putting African caterpillars, migratory locusts and black soldier flies on the menu.
The project is listed on the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office’s development tracker website as seeking “to promote the production of insects for human food and for use in the manufacture of animal feeds”.
Meanwhile, in Zimbabwe, another development project is under way to use mopane worms in porridge served in schools. The slimy green caterpillars, which turn into emperor moths, are already commonly picked for consumption from vegetation during the rainy seasons in rural parts of Zimbabwe.
With £300,000 from the aid budget, officials are planning to feed poor children aged seven to 11 in the southern town of Gwanda and in the capital, Harare, a bug-laced gruel, which, they say, has the benefits of being rich in crucial vitamins and minerals, including phosphorus, potassium, iron, copper, zinc, manganese, sodium, vitamins B1 and B2, and niacin.
Dr Sarah Beynon, the founder of the Bug Farm in Pembrokeshire and an academic entomologist, said aid projects promoting edible insects were:“a sure way to save lives and improve nutrition of the poorest people on planet Earth”. She said: “We are also actively encouraging people in the developed world to include insects in their diets”.
Are you ready for bug burgers and crunchy caterpillars?
A crazed conspiracy crackpot would probably suggest that it’s just a matter of time before we in the supposedly ‘advanced’ West are ‘encouraged’ to include vitamin- and protein-rich insects in our diets. Meanwhile the jet-setting political, business, media and bureaucratic elites will continue to gorge on the best steaks, caviar and other foods that we proles will no longer be allowed while, enthusiastically supported by the mainstream media, lecturing us on the need for us to restrict our diets in order to ‘save the planet’.
But, of course, that would just be a wild conspiracy theory, wouldn’t it?
