By  David Craig, on October 1st, 2013 Yesterday, I wrote about the questionable contribution made to Britain by our 300,000-strong Somali community in which around 65% of men and 90% of women are economically inactive. Looking at the chart produced from figures from the Office for National Statistics, I noticed something very odd:
The four communities with the highest levels of worklessness – Somalis, Bangladeshis, Pakistanis and Turks – all come from Muslim countries.
I found another study done by the Office for National Statistics on levels of unemployment and intention to work by ethnicity:
This doesn’t split out the level of activity of Somalis, but does show that the percent of Bangladeshis and Pakistanis (both from Muslim countries) not working and not intending to work is much higher than for other ethnicities.
Either the people at the Office for National Statistics are really nasty racists and Islamophobes who deliberately and hatefully produce figures designed to malign Britain’s much-treasured Muslim community or……………………….
I can’t really think of any other explanation, can you?

By David Craig, on September 30th, 2013 The useless, left-wing BBC news came up with a good “bankers horrible to hard-working immigrants” story this morning.
British bank Barclays has announced that it will suspend business with money wire transfer services operating in Somalia. Barclays was the last bank providing these services to Somalis. The bank says it fears the transfer services are being used to fund terrorism. But humanitarian aid groups in the country have called on Barclays to postpone its plan to allow time to find a replacement of the service, on which up to 40% of Somalis rely.
Money transfer is a huge business in Somalia, used by tens of thousands of Somalis to send and receive money from abroad. Oxfam (which spends about a half of our donations on its own bureaucrats’ generous salaries and pensions) estimates that “hard-working” Somali migrants in the UK may be sending as much as £100m a year back to Somalia, about 12.5% of the total amount of £800m that goes to the country. That’s about £1,500 for every Somali man in Britain.
So, what’s wrong with the BBC story? Well, for a start, Britain’s 300,000 Somalis are not “hard-working”. Even the pathetic Guardian admits that at least 65% of Somali men and over 90% of Somali women don’t work. The Office for National Statistics comes up with similar figures (click to see more clearly)
Then where does the £100m a year British Somalis send back to their country come from? Obviously an awful lot of it comes from our benefits system. We’re constantly being told by the BBC and the Guardian that it’s a struggle to live off benefits. But Britain’s Somalis, with their large families, seem to have no problem living here and having plenty of cash to spare.
Some of the £100m probably comes from drug dealing by groups like the Woolwich Boys – a 300-strong gang consisting mainly of Somalis that controls the local drug trade. We can thank the Woolwich Boys for giving us Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale:
Whether it is dealing with benefits, immigration, supposed “Global Warming” or whatever, reporting by the BBC is becoming almost comical in its bias and its constant airbrushing of the truth in the interest of political correctness.

Relocating To Pakistan
| Dear Mr Cameron,
I’m planning to move my family and extended family to Pakistan for my health and to benefit from the extraordinary generosity of the Pakistani people and I would like to ask you to assist me with this. We’re planning to simply fly from Britain to Pakistan and we’ll need your help to make a few arrangements. We plan to skip all of the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws.
I’m sure they handle those things in the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Asif Ali Zardari, that I’m on my way over?
Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:
1. Free medical care for my entire extended family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services we might need, whether we use them or not.
3. All Pakistani Government forms must be printed in English.
4. I want my grandkids to be taught Urdu by English speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.
5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on British culture and history.
6. I want my grandkids to see the British flag on one of the flag poles at their school.
7. Please plan to feed my grandkids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Pakistani driver’s license so I can get easy access to government services.
9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Pakistan, but I don’t plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won’t make any special effort to learn local traffic laws. In fact, my wife who cannot speak or read Urdu, will also be driving my car even though she will be unable to understand any road signs
10. In case one of the Pakistani police officers does not get the memo from President Zardari to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer and that all police officers respect my culture and beliefs.
11. I expect my family to be given priority over Pakistani citizens for such things as housing, school places and medical care
12. I plan to fly the British flag from my housetop, put British flag decals on my car and have a gigantic celebration for Christmas on December 25th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
13. I would also like to have a nice cash-in-hand job without paying any taxes, or have any labour or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.
14. Please have President Zardari tell all of the Pakistani people to be extremely welcoming to my large extended family and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy or public services like schools, housing and healthcare
15. Naturally, I’ll expect free rent subsidies, generous benefits and payments for each of my many grandchildren.
16. We’ll need income tax credits so that, in case any of my family members does take a job, they’ll receive much more money from the government than they’ll ever pay in tax.
17. I expect all adults in my extended family to be given the vote so that we can vote for whichever political party gives people like us the most in handouts.
18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enrol my wife and I free into the Pakistan Social Security program so that we’ll get monthly pension cheques in retirement for the rest of our lives.
I know this is an easy request because you as our Prime Minister already do all these things for all of his people who fly to Britain from Pakistan. I am sure that President Zardari won’t mind returning the favour if you ask him nicely.

Ed Miliband was a member of the worst government Britain has ever had and he was a key supporter of the worst chancellor and then worst prime minister Britain has ever experienced. As Energy Secretary, he was responsible for probably the most destructive piece of legislation in British history – the 2008 Climate Change Act. He lacks character, personality, decisiveness and leadership. He is the glove puppet for Ed McCluskey and Unite and Barroso and the eurocrats. He doesn’t care about Britain and is keen hand over our sovereignty to the great EU socialist superstate. But in spite of all this, he seems to be on track to become our next prime minister.
By promising to freeze energy bills, Miliband has exposed the massive weakness in the Tories’ supposed recovery – that the recovery has only benefited the rich few at the expense of the many. The government’s desperate QE to keep down the interest it pays on its own ever-increasing debts has made the rich richer and the rest of us poorer. QE pushes up the prices of assets like shares – mostly held by the already wealthy. But it increases inflation which hurts the less wealthy and destroys the savings of those who can’t afford expensive financial advisers and tax-avoiding accountants.
As I explain in my latest book GREED UNLIMITED, Cameron and Clegg have protected the predators in our society – CEOs of the big companies, overpaid civil servants and public-sector bosses and of course the government’s generous friends in banking, not a single one of whom has been prosecuted and jailed.
The economist Roger Bootle, not a rabid left-winger, wrote: “It turns out that, in our society, the easiest way to make an awful lot of money is to take it, legally, from someone else. Not only do we allow and encourage sky-high returns to be available for distributive activity but society also accords high status to people who enjoy these sky-high returns. It makes no distinction between the man who makes his money through an invention and the man who makes it through a bet”.
With his promise on freezing energy bills, Miliband has spotted that we’re tired of being ripped off by banks, water companies, energy companies, insurance companies, pension fund managers and all the other predators who have done well from the crash and subsequent years of stagnation.
Of course, Miliband never mentions things like uncontrolled immigration, eye-watering public-sector waste, the greed and thieving of our politicians and our abject subservience to Brussels. But just by his one simple promise to freeze energy bills, Miliband has exposed the Government as supporters of the many predators who are fleecing us and he may have just won the 2015 General Election.

By David Craig, on September 27th, 2013 Most people putting money into things like unit trusts and pensions expect their savings to grow over time. After all, the Money sections of the weekend papers are full of articles and ads about the best places to put our money. Surely all the personal finance journalists and financial services companies can’t be lying? Can they?
Here’s a typical chart of share prices:
Looking at this, it seems that shares are a fairly safe bet if you want your money (in unit trusts or pensions) to grow in value.
But once you factor in inflation, things start to look a lot different:
This chart is really important for at least 4 reasons:
1. Stock markets don’t go up Although financial journalists are forever writing gushing articles about how stock markets are moving to new highs, this is usually total bunkum. It’s rubbish, because these journalists never bother factoring in the effects of inflation. But look at the top line on the chart. This shows the real (inflation-adjusted) value of UK shares. There was a wonderful period of real growth during the 1990s. But since 2000, the value of UK shares has been on a downward trajectory. The supposed “pundits” witter on that the FTSE 100 could reach maybe 7000 by the end of the year as if this was great news for us savers. Actually, the FTSE 100 would probably have to go up to 8500 or even 9000 (which is NOT going to happen) to make up the losses made since 2000
2. Beware the baby-boomer effect Look at the green and red lines on the chart. They represent the shares held by British savers either as individuals or in unit trusts and pension funds. Both the green and red lines are going down. But why? You will never hear this from a financial adviser or journalist, but what I believe we’re seeing is the “baby-boomer effect”. During the 1980s and 1990s the richest generation ever to live in Britain – the baby-boomers – were busy putting their savings into unit trusts and pension funds. This boosted demand for shares and so pushed up prices. But as the baby-boomers retire and move their money from pension funds to annuity companies (which tend to buy government bonds) there will be a massive withdrawal of baby-boomer money from worldwide stock markets and a fall in prices. The US General Accounting Office were so concerned that they did a study to estimate how much stock markets would fall. They concluded there was no reason for savers to panic. When a government department says there’s no reason to panic, that’s usually a good reason to panic.
3. Flood of foreign money Now look at the blue line – foreign ownership of UK shares has shot up. I believe this shows the massive rise in wealth in Asian countries. Asian savers need somewhere to put their money. Most Asian stock markets are thoroughly corrupt – the Wild East of investing. So, if Asian savers are looking for a safe haven for their money, they’ll gravitate to Western stock markets and in particular well-run Western companies that do a lot of their business in growing parts of the world like Asia. So these savers get the benefits of Asian growth without the risks of the corrupt Asian stock markets. The inflow of Asian money will partly offset the withdrawal of baby-boomer money. But so far, the Asian money has not been sufficient to support markets.
4. The greed of British CEOs Looking again at the top line on the chart, we can see that the value of UK companies has been falling. Yet at the same time, CEOs of British companies have been massively increasing their own salaries and bonuses.
In the last 13 years, the share prices of the FTSE 100 companies have fallen by over 20%. But, while claiming they cannot afford to pay their employees reasonable salaries, the companies’ CEOs have doubled their own remuneration. Our CEOs are having a very lucrative laugh – at our expense.

By David Craig, on September 26th, 2013 She’s back. The witch is back. Probably the most loathed woman in Britain is back on our TV screens. Following Miliband Junior’s pledge to freeze energy prices, the energy companies are fighting back against suggestions that they (like the banks) have been shamelessly ripping us off for years. And who is touring the TV studios defending our rip-off energy companies? It’s none other than the (IMHO) arrogant, lying, self-serving, greedy witch Angela Knight.
From 2007 to 2102, the lovely Angela was Chief Executive of the British Bankers’ Association – the trade body for our banks. All this time, Honest Angela vigorously defended the banks against criticism of their greed, mis-selling and manipulating markets. Bloomberg reports that, in a December 2008 statement, she declared that Libor could be trusted as “a reliable benchmark”.
After a verdict against the BBA at the High Court in April 2011, some BBA members criticized Knight’s handling of the case and called for her to step down as Chief Executive. On 1 April 2012 Knight resigned as chief executive of the BBA. In May 2012 it was announced that Knight had been appointed chief executive of trade body for our energy companies – Energy UK.
There are two main lies used by Angela and the energy companies when trying to argue that they are not a cosy cartel exploiting their dominant position – that they only increase energy prices when their costs go up and that we have some of the cheapest energy prices in Europe.
1. Lie number one – prices only go up when wholesale prices go up. Here’s a graph of wholesale compared to retail energy prices (click to see more clearly)
 As you’ll see – the energy prices we pay do go up when wholesale prices rise, but then they stay up, making massive profits for the Big Six energy companies.
2. Lie number two – Britain has some of the cheapest energy prices in Europe. This is actually true. But our basic energy costs are some of the highest in Europe. The reason why many countries pay more for their energy is that the VAT on energy bills is much higher on the Continent (usually over 15%) than in Britain (5%).
And here are just a few real facts and figures the lovely Angela probably won’t mention:
1. Our often foreign-owned energy companies make four to five times as much profit in the UK than they are allowed to make in their properly regulated home markets
2. They are so profitable in the UK that Scottish Power’s Spanish owner Iberdrola recently lent its American subsidiary £800m leeched from its UK customers, as the American subsidiary needed the money to meet investment commitments it had made to US regulators
3. Last year SSE (formerly Scottish and Southern Energy), Britain’s second biggest energy firm, saw its profits increase by 32%. Meanwhile SSE’s eight million customers saw their fuel bills rocket by 9% (well above the rise in inflation), adding £119 to the average yearly bill. All the other energy companies reported increased profits last year of between 25% and 35%.
4. Since 2006-7, the useless UK regulator Ofgem’s budget increased from £18.6m to £32.6m and yet due to Ofgem’s pathetic efforts, the UK is one of the most profitable energy markets in the world. Ofgem has estimated that energy companies will triple their profits this year but does nothing to protect consumers from predatory pricing

By David Craig, on September 25th, 2013 Today, I have to apologise. I had planned to watch Ed Miliband’s Labour Party conference speech so that you don’t have to. But after witnessing the torrent of lies spouted by the preening, self-absorbed, sociopathic liar Ed Balls, I couldn’t even bring myself to face almost an hour of Miliband Junior’s mendacity.
Balls has clearly understood nothing and learnt nothing from 13 years of Labour misrule during which he was at the centre of Brown’s catastrophic squandering of taxpayers’ money and creation of a new overpaid, over-pensioned, incompetent, arrogant, self-serving bureaucratic elite (a generation of Sir David Nicholsons) that has wrecked most of our public services. It was far beyond parody when Balls said a Labour government would focus like a laser on every pound of public spending and ensure the new HS2, if built, would be done on time and on budget.

As for Miliband. I couldn’t bear to watch his speech. But a few of the things he promised were similarly so far beyond parody that you almost had to admire his gall in daring to even say them:
1. He pledged to cap energy costs. But it was his Climate Change Act, when he was Energy Secretary, which has been the main cause for increasing energy costs, pushing up household bills and destroying British industry. The Climate Change Act made it the duty of the Secretary of State to ensure that the net UK carbon account for all six Kyoto greenhouse gases for the year 2050 is at least 80% lower than the 1990 baseline.
2. Remember Gordon Brown’s pledge “British jobs for British workers”? This was, of course, illegal under EU rules. But we got almost the same promise from Miliband – every company employing someone from outside the EU would have to take on a British trainee. Sorry Ed, but your beloved EU’s rules make this just as illegal as Brown’s empty promise.
3. He blamed the Tories for ruining the NHS. But he seemed to forget that Labour increased NHS spending from £45bn to over £105bn while wasting billions on almost doubling the number of managers from 25,000 to 45,000 while reducing the number of hospital beds from 210,000 to 140,000. So we went from over 8 beds per manager to less than 4 beds per manager. Labour also gave doctors wonderful (for the doctors) new contracts that paid them more for doing less work and Labour encouraged maybe 5 million, maybe 7 million, people to move to Britain to rub the middle-classes’ noses in multiculturalism. Having to look after these millions of mostly uneducated, unskilled and unproductive new arrivals has put devastating pressure on our hospitals, schools, housing, policing and benefits system.
4. Miliband promised better pensions. But it’s precisely because of the costs of more people coming to Britain under 13 years of New Labour than came in the last two thousand years, that we can’t afford to give British pensioners a decent pension.
I could go on, but I’m losing the will to live. And worst of all – lying, ignorant, arrogant, useless, incompetent garbage Miliband and Balls look like winning the next election. It would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic.
By David Craig, on September 24th, 2013 EU stooges Gay Dave Cameron and his panicking Tories have realised that they have nothing to offer voters at the 2015 General Election. So, they’ve decided on a strategy of trying to scare possible UKIP voters into supporting the Tories. The constant refrain we’re going to hear from the Tories up to the 2015 Election is that if people vote for UKIP, that makes it more likely that the useless Miliband and the sociopathic liar Balls will win. But is this actually true?
In Scotland, there are 59 parliamentary seats. Just one (yes one) is held by a Tory. So anyone voting UKIP in Scotland will be taking votes from Miliband’s Socialist Party, not Gay Dave’s fake Conservative Party.
Then there’s Wales. The Tories hold just 8 of Wales’ 40 seats. So in Wales, voting for UKIP will mainly be taking votes away from Miliband’s Socialists.
And there’s the North of England and the Midlands. Of the 124 urban seats in the North and the Midlands, Europhiliac Dave’s fake Conservative Party hold just 20. So here, votes for UKIP will mainly be votes against Barroso’s and McCluskey’s glove puppet Miliband and his Socialist Party.
That just leaves the South. What might happen there? Well, in the last by-election, Eastleigh, UKIP came second beating Euro-Dave’s phoney Tories into third place. And if the campaign had gone on for just one more week, UKIP probably would have won (click to see more clearly)
Between now and the 2015 General Election, we have the not insignificant matter of the May 2014 EU Elections. Indications are that UKIP will secure more seats than Euro-Dave’s pretend Tories or Red Ed’s rabid Socialists. That will convince many doubters and waverers that there is a real alternative to Euro-Dave’s fake Tories and Red Ed’s ghastly Socialists. I think and hope that the 2014 EU Election and the 2015 General Election are going to be a disaster for the ConLabLib Party’s comfortable grip on power and privilege. They will be a “plebs revolt” against our arrogant, incompetent, self-serving, thieving rulers.
Don’t believe Euro-Dave’s lies and smears and scare tactics. A vote for UKIP is just that – a vote for UKIP. And a vote for UKIP is a vote against our smug, self-serving and useless ruling elites who have been running the country into the ground for so long.

Labour’s version of Socialism means taking money from those who can be bothered to work and dishing it out to those who have decided to live off benefits. We couldn’t afford Labour’s Socialism when Britain had some form of immigration controls. Heaven knows how we’re going to afford it when any of the EU’s 500 million people can come to Britain and claim any or even most of the following:

Disability benefits give a nice picture of how our benefits system gets abused. Under Labour, the useless and venal Blair/Brown government tried to hide the level of unemployment by encouraging those who couldn’t be bothered to work to claim disability benefits (click to see more clearly)
 This meant that Britain had almost the highest level of disability payments of any developed country. We were only beaten by Norway. I’ve worked in Norway and most people there looked pretty healthy. But anyway, Norway can afford such largesse for the genuinely disabled and the professional scroungers. We can’t.
But, in spite of the evidence that around half of the £20bn a year paid in Disability Living Allowance and Incapacity Benefits is given to people who are really rather healthy, in a speech to the Labour Party conference Liam Byrne, the party’s shadow work and pensions secretary (he who left a note saying there was no money left) is to call for the French company in charge of the Government’s fit-or-work assessments to be “sacked”. He will also commit Labour to making ‘disability hate’ a crime.
Here’s a “lady” who has claimed she can only walk with the help of crutches enjoying an action-packed holiday in the sun thanks to the generosity/stupidity (delete as appropriate) of us taxpayers
So, of the 4 million people claiming some disability, if you’re one of the 2 million or so who are genuine, you deserve our support to make your life better. But if you’re one of the around 2 million lazy, thieving, lying, parasitical scumbags faking a disability to get your hands on other people’s money, vote Labour! Vote for the Parasites Party! Vote for the party that puts scroungers first!
