Lying, self-serving Labour scum?

Several of the contestants for Labour leadership are claiming that they thought the Iraq war was a mistake and that they were against it.  Why? Because they really believe this? Or because they know that saying it will help their chances of being elected? Yet if they were so opposed to the Iraq war, it’s a pity they didn’t mention this earlier.

So a message for all the British soldiers who died for nothing in Iraq – your leaders (Milibands, Burnham etc) didn’t give a damn about your deaths when they kept silent to protect their careers. Yet now they see career advantages in criticising the war, they’re all over the media waving their pacifist credentials. What a bunch of lying, cowardly scum.
