The West abolishes itself?

Thursday blog

We have been warned so many times. There was Douglas Murray’s 2018 book “The Strange Death of Europe”. In Germany Thilo Sarrazin, a former Bundesbank board member authored the 2010 book “Deutschland schafft sich ab” (“Germany Is Abolishing Itself”). And Michel Houellebecq’s novel “Submission” about an Islamic government in France was published in English in 2010:

And there is also, of course, the dystopian classic from the 1970s about civil war breaking out in Britain between the indigenous (White) population and the many wonderful multi-culturally-enriching Third-World invaders:

That brings us to the US midterms. I’ve hardly been able to watch any British news reports because of the triumphalist howling of the anti-Trump, West-hating, Islamophiliac mainstream media.

First let me remind readers that it is quite normal for the party of the incumbent president to lose in the midterm elections. This has happened in 18 of the last 20 midterms. So that is, despite what the mainstream media claims, not unusual. But there are perhaps two key differences this time:

Difference 1: Scale of the Republican losses: These were much worse than most people had predicted

Difference 2: There will be no bi-partisan cooperation: In the past, the two parties have often been able to work together in the interests of the American people even when the president and Congress came from different parties. This time that won’t happen because of two issues:

  • the absolute loathing most Democrats have for President Trump
  • the Democrat party has been captured by radical, US-hating, West-despising Islamo-socialist fanatics. They don’t care about the US electorate. All they will be interested in is forcing their anti-West agenda on the United States – economically-suicidal green policies, societally-suicidal mass immigration, democracy-destroying widespread voter fraud, implacable media censorship, pro-Iran antisemitism and suchlike.

It seems that US voters have looked at the chaos engulfing Europe due mainly to economically-disastrous ‘green’ policies, increasingly-despotic and oppressive ruling elites and societally-catastrophic mass immigration from the worst Third-World cesspit countries and have decided: ‘hey, we want some of that here’.

Meanwhile, the Democrats should be pleased with themselves as there will be massive jubilation in Moscow and Tehran.

I found this shortish (6 minute) clip on Youtube. It shows a small part of a much longer interview by Andrew Gold speaking to Douglas Murray. What I found significant was that Douglas Murray is normally energetic, ebullient and combative. But here he looks exhausted as if he has realised that the battle for the West has been lost:
