It seems that our first female Chancellor, the (IMHO) blundering, incompetent, useless Rachel Reeves, looks rather sad (and about 100 years older than she actually is) as Keir ‘Liar, Liar, Liar’ Starmer fails to confirm that Reeves will still be Chancellor for the rest of this wretched parliament:

The entire front bench looks completely miserable every time we see them.
I don’t understand i thought she was the first female chancellor. Something not right here.
One uncharitable and heartless post on x said she was crying because she had run out of other peoples money.
I feel sorry for her, it’s probably some family issue – if not and a word from the speaker is going to upset her this much she definitely shouldn’t be in the job. Meanwhile I wasn’t aware her sister is chairman of the Labour Party – keep it in the family eh?
