Monday blog
Here’s a very brief insight into how some of our political, academic and activist leaders view us.

I note that none of any of these quotes from personages are actually putting themselves forward for contributing to the reduction in population numbers. I wonder why that is?
I don’t know whether they want to reduce the numbers but my view is that there are too many of us and it is because there isn’t enough work. We need to work to produce what we need and to enable the finance system to function. I believe we have become so efficient and there isn’t enough work. We have seen how jobs moved from agriculture to industry and then from industry to administration. AI will reduce the admin jobs. Our factories only keep going because goods are made unreliable and we need to replace them or we pay for pointless updates.
I note that one of the comments is about growth. Why do we need growth if we have a satisfactory life? The only people who want growth are the politicians and they need it to pay off the debt they have created.
We have become like mice on a treadmill.
