Wednesday – Thursday blog.
It’s just one month since Donald Trump and his team took office. And it has achieved more in its first four weeks than most US presidents achieve in their four years:
- He has signed over 70 executive orders
- All federal DIE (Diversity, Inclusion and Equity) staff have been put on leave and will be fired
- His team have deported about 5,000 illegal migrants and arrested many more
- At least 10,000 unnecessary government employees have been fired
- His DOGE has uncovered billions in fraud and waste at USAID and has closed down the department
- His team have fired senior officials in several government departments
- Trump steamrolled over Columbia’s refusal to take back Columbian criminals deported from the US by threatening trade tariffs
- Trump pushed the Panama government into deciding to end an agreement giving Chinese shipping special rights to use the Panama Canal at lower rates than US shipping
- Trump sent the Arabs into complete panic by suggesting clearing all the Palestinians out of the Gaza Strip and resettling them in surrounding Arab countries. The Arab leaders quickly called an emergency meeting to come up with a counter proposal
- Trump sent our useless European leaders into a panic by suggesting Europe whould take responsibility for its own defence. A conference was hastily convened at which our European rulers all ended up shouting at each other and Germany’s Scholz walked out in fury
- Trump is making a serious effort to end the slaughter in Ukraine while all our do-nothing, cowardly European leaders hurl abuse at him and accuse him of being the new Neville Chamberlain
Then last week, Vice President (and likely future US president) J.D. Vance had European leaders throwing their toys out of their prams when he gave a speech accusing European leaders of allowing destructive mass immigration and then using draconian restrictions on freedom of speech to prevent any European citizens criticising their leaders’ race replacement policies.
And now we have US Energy Secretary Chris Wright saying that Net Zero is Lunacy and a Colossal Failure”. Wright called Net Zero 2050 a sinister goal that lowers the standard of living of the population by impoverishing citizens in pursuit of a delusion. Enjoy this Daily Sceptic article:
It’s wonderful to watch an elected politician and his team actually doing what he promised to do. And it exposes our European politicians – especially spineless robot Starmer, gutless French popinjay Macron and testicle-free balding bank-clerk-lookalike Scholz – for being incompetent, lying, impotent, self-serving, hypocritical, Islamophiliac, West-hating, worthless garbage.
Im not convinced about Trump. Remember what Thomas Sowell says about the visions of the anointed. Before the election Trump was telling us that he would end the Ukrainian war within a week, but he could not tell us how because he wouldnt be able to do it if anybody knew. Utter rubbish, as se can see.
Happy every day and the reaction from incompetent corrupt EU and British state says it all. The potential cost savings in UK from similar actions would be trillions annually plus it would unleash the potential of the citizens who are being strangled by high taxes and regulation.
To A Thorpe – you might not be convinced about him, and he is just a man, but he is a million times better than Harris would have been and a million times better than the majority of corrupt leaders we have here, in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. With Vance and Musk he is making a positive difference for once.
Val, just because there are others worse than Trump doesn’t make him acceptable. Trump’s weakness is that he likes to be praised and that means he will be told what he wants to hear.
