I wanted to write something profound today about the era of sefishness, self-obsession and decadence which we are in.
We see the signs of this all around us – the glorification of shallow media personalities, the obsession with sexual identity, the complete loss of a moral code, the weakness of our leaders, the consumerism of ordinary people who can never get enough of what they don’t need.
This Age of Western Decadence would be worrying in itself as it usually signals the end of a civilisation. But it is even more dangerous for us as we are faced with an implacable and bloodthirsty enemy with strong moral convictions and a thirst for invasion, conquest, slaughter and domination. I imagine you can guess who I’m referring to?
In many ways, the West is similar to a decadent Rome sunk into vice (sex, gluttony and circuses), weak, morally bankrupt and unable to defend itself when the Goths invaded bringing death and destruction.
But luckily I don’t need to strain my small brain thinking about such big thoughts so early on a dismal Monday morning. Fortunately someone else has already done some of the work for me.
This (6-minute) video explains better than I could why the decadent, consumerist, self-obsessed, morally apathetic West is going to collapse and be conquered unless it quickly changes and fights for its survival.
I believe this 6-minute video is an excerpt from a much longer one and this excerpt concludes with strong criticism of the baby-boomer generation. Therefore it doesn’t deal with where we are now – a brainwashed, snowflake, media-obsessed generation which refuses to recognise the massive threat posed by uncontrolled Third-World invasion, conquest of the West and collapse of Western civilisation. And, as it was made a few years ago, it doesn’t feature how the West could be saved by those such as Viktor Orban, Donald Trump, Nigel Farage, Matteo Salvini and others like them who see the danger facing us.
But the first 5 minutes of the video are still very relevant to our situation even though the video doesn’t deal with the more than obvious threat that faces us from you know who:

We oldies who were taught history at school, who learned about the rise and fall of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire and its decline and fall, have been saying this for several decades. It took Europe more than half a millennium even to begin to drag itself out of the Dark Ages, the period of artistic, scientific and cultural decline which followed the end of the Roman Empire. The developed West as we all know it is hurtling headlong towards its own demise and it is the fault of its self-styled intelligentsia, cultural and political “elite”, who are force-feeding the young a diet of self-absorption, endless introspection and self-indulgence. A society which positively encourages young children to question their gender identity and to undergo hormone treatment and surgical modification of their sexual organs before they have even had a chance to become sufficiently sexually mature to appreciate what those organs are for, is indeed truly sick. The early news this morning briefly mentioned that a doctor involved in “gender modification” of children in the UK has quit his post, having become concerned for the welfare of the thousands of children he is being expected to “treat”. I think we all know which culture will take over the West when the end finally comes. Given the enormous educational gulf between the two competing cultures, the reluctance of one of them to regard its females as anything other than baby-producing machines, and the eagerness with which political leaders are positively encouraging its infiltration into Europe, it is inevitable that in the future the entire world will sink into a state comparable to Medieval Europe, when poverty, starvation, high child mortality, bloody and brutal war and early death for all prevailed. In short, like most of Africa is today. Oh, Brave New World…………
The mentality of people amazes me nowadays, they don’t see the bleeding obvious because they simply don’t want to. And the BBC is busy distracting them with ‘everything’s fine’ imagery. That is classic, communist ‘lying by omission’.
Hi David…there is a verse in the Bible that predicted what people of our time would be like. Its very accurate. There is another whole level to what’s happening g on this world that I don’t think you know about but true Christians (believe it or not, not everyone who says they are a Christian are Christians) are aware of what’s going on from a Biblical/God point of view. And what I can say is that it won’t get any better and will get worse and worse. There will be a one world government and you won’t be able to fight against it. Eventually, people will only be able to buy and sell if they have the mark of the beast that people will get either on their forehead or their right hand. Many Christians believe this to be the chip, I think it will be the tattoo type chip. Either way…while I admire that you blog about what you see, I also know that no one can stop what is happening. Here is the verse I’m talking about…
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

When will the end come and what will cause it? I’m quite certain that the growth in the human population will make it much worse than the collapse of older civilisations because we rely on the state more than ever.
Was the number one factor of our Western decadence mentioned? Birthrate. The invading hordes of Muslims and sub-Saharan Africans don’t have to bother to fight us to ensure our demise. They just have to sit back, shagging away and produce many times more babies than us; not difficult with our ‘non-replacement’ birthrate figures – and we pay them to do so!
